The blazing rays of sun made him squint his eyes. He felt a burning sensation in his eyes. The moment he opened his eyes he saw her. Her face was resting on the recliner. "I m fine Annika.. I m sorry I just slept like this. You must be tired, go & have rest on the bed" he said standing up.
"No Shivay, m fine! Anyways its time to wake up" she replied.
They both exchanged smile. Both of them knew what they were feeling from inside still they tried to act normal.

Shivika were in their room when Martha came running to their room.
"Sir, the doctor is calling you" she seemed worried.
They ran to Mr. Oberoi's room.
The doctor & nurses were surrounding Mr. Oberoi. They were talking something in their medical language.
"What happened doctor?" Shivay asked worriedly.
"Mr. Shivay actually.." the doctor stammered.
"What doctor?? Speakkkk!" Shivay became nervous. He was scared.
"Mr. Shivay your father has gone into coma. We dont know if he will be out of it or not! When? We have no idea. I m sorry"
the doctor finally dropped thunder on him.
Shivay felt his world shattering into small pieces.
"Coma" was the only word he could hear. He suddenly fell down out of shock.
"Shivaaayyyyy" Annika ran towards him. She was already heartbroken listening to the bad news & when Shivay fell on the ground like a corpse, She felt her heart beat stopping.
He was sitting on the floor like a dead man, he could not say anything. He just felt his eyes pooling up & tears falling. There was some hope that his dad would be fine but now even that was broken. Annika came and hugged him tightly.
"Shivayyy, listen to me. Everything will be fine.. dont lose hope" she stammered between the tears.
The next moment she saw him standing up & moving out of the room.
She followed him, she tried to stop him but he was moving like there was no one near him.
"Shiv..Shivayy" she cried.
"Leave me alone Annika.." he said removing her hand from his shoulder while still moving.
"Listen to me..Shiva..." she was again trying to stop him but this time he shouted,
"Leave meee aloneeee!!!"
Annika was dumbstruck. She was not hurt, she was not crying because he shouted at her, but she cried because she knew he is fighting a war within him. She knew he is not strong enough to handle this alone. She wanted to be with him but he wanted to be alone. She saw him moving out of the house but she kept standing there. She knew he needed sometime to come out of this sudden tragic shock.

It was 1:00 clock in the night but he was still not back. She was moving like a pendulam in her room waiting for him. She tried calling him but his phone was not reachable. With every passing second she felt her heart beat stopping. She was feeling scared. She couldn't understand how to contact him, where to find him. Everyone was already asleep. She didnt even felt like disturbing her father, she knew he would panic listening about Shivay.
Her tears were her only best friend. They didn't left her alone ever. Like always they were still there with her. She sat down on the floor keeping her head on the bed. Her heartbeat failing the speed. Her eyes longed to see him. She wanted to know if he was fine or not. Lots of foul images started coming in her mind. They scared her. She was feeling so helpless.
"Please come back Shivayyy" she cried.
The next moment she felt his presence. The door opened & she saw him coming inside. He was there, her life was there. She ran towards the door & hugged him tightly.
"Where were you Shivay!!! You know how scared & worried I was? I felt myself dying from the time you le...." she stopped in between when her nose felt the strong smell of alcohol coming from his face.
She took some steps back in bafflement. Did he came drank? Since when he started drinking? She thought.
He tried coming inside, his footsteps were not supporting him, he was about to fall when she held his hands.
"Ann...nikaaa you kn..know you are very nice" he said to her in drunkenness.
"Shivay be careful!!" She said making him sit on the bed. She didnt wanted anyone to look at his state so she closed the door of their room.
"Shivay! Why have you drank?" she asked him sitting behind him on the bed.
"An..nika you know people say when the heart is filled with infinte pain, alcohol is the best way to release it" he said smiling at her like a child.
"Shivay!!! Drinking is not the solution to anything" she said. She was disappointed. She never expected him to be this weak. She tried to lay him down on the bed & after covering him she was about to go when he held her hand & sat on the bed making her land on his chest. He cupped her face & said,
"Please dont go Annika..dont leave me! I cant live alone. I have no one with me. First of all mom left me, I craved for her love for her touch for her blessings but she didnt came. I used to cry every night looking at the brightest star, I believed she was mom. I requested her every night to come back but she never came back. I saw dad crying for her. We both cried but she didnt came. Then you & uncle left us. I used to miss you alot then. Although I never used to smile, I hardly showed any interest in playing with you, I was always so rude with you but I can't deny the fact that I was broken when you went to london. Time flied, I forgot you & I went to sidney for my studies. I met Jennifer, fell in love with her but I had to leave her because of marriage & see now dad is also leaving me. He asked me to marry, see I fulfilled his wish still he is not fulfilling my wish. I m scared of loneliness Annika.I never knew how much you will suffer after knowing that I loved Jennifer but you always cared for me & dad. Please don't leave me" he said, the tears were rolling down, the intensity & honesty in his eyes made her shiver. She never knew there is so much pain stored in his heart. She was just listening to him.
"I wont leave you Shivay, I m not going anywhere" she said wiping away his tears. He was still sobbing, the tears still making his face wet.
The next moment she felt him coming close to her, he was still cupping her face. Their lips were inches away, her heart beat started racing. The closeness made her nervous, she didnt wabt to feel weak. Suddenly she turned her face to the other side. Now her back was facing him. The dori of her blouse was visible to his eyes. The black blouse shined brightly on her fair skin. The moment his fingers touched her skin, she felt it burning. The touch literally gave her a shock. She closed her eyes in anticipation. He tried to open the dori of her blouse when she suddenly turned towards his side & hugged him tightly. He hugged her back with the same intensity.
"Please Annika, I need you, I want to make sure that you are not going to leave me, I need you Annika" he said with utmost honesty. She could feel the pain in his voice. She looked into his eyes. They were full of desires, they were full of pain. There was no lust infact for the first time she saw love in his eyes. The pain which those red bloodshot eyes stored was oozing to come out. He wanted her support tonight. She knew this one night could change her life for ever, she knew he loves Jennifer & would go to her , she knew she is his wife only for some months but she knew cannot leave him alone in this condition. She behaved imprudently. With thinking about the consequences of this night, she gave in to take all his pain tonight.
He was waiting for her permission & the moment she looked into his eyes, he knew she wanted this as much as he.
Shivay was not in senses but he knew that he needed her today. He wanted to throw out all the pain & only she could help him do that.

She gulped & clutched the bedsheet tightly while he thrusted himself into her. He saw tears escaping her eyes, he knew this must be painful for her, he came on top of her & took her lips into a kiss. He kissed her softly as if soothing away all her pain. He was still inside her swaying away in the rhythm of love. They kissed hard, deeply like it was the last time they are kissing. She sat on the bed & was crying now, Shivay turned to look at her "Annikkaa? What happened? Did I hurt you?" he asked out of concern.
She could not tell him why was she crying. She just hugged him & he hugged her back. They lied down on the bed, embracing each other. The moonlight shined bright into their room as if being the only witness of the lovely union that took place tonight. The union of two bodies, The union of two souls, The union of two lovers.
Her face was on his chest.
This is the man she has loved, this is the man she will keep loving. She didnt know if he will ever love her or not. She didnt know if he will even remember all this till tomorrow or not but even then she will keep loving him. She felt complete today, he has made love to her, he showed her his love, the motive of her life is fulfilled now. He made her pure. She felt the love in his eyes. She couldn't ask for more. She closed her wet eyes.
His lips were touching her forehead. He was embracing her like magnet sticks with an iron nail. He just wanted to be with her. This woman in his arms have always amazed her. She took all his pain tonight. She have always given him more than he expected. He didnt even think about Jennifer even once while doing all this nor after that. All he needed with him I'm in was his Annika. I love her he thought & slept.
