•THE PARTY•
Jennifer & Shivay moved to the dance floor. There was this tall blonde guy standing with a drink in his hand near the bar counter. He was also Shivay's classmate but not his friend although Jennifer & he were good pals. He came forward to meet Jennifer & Shivay. But Shivay was fuming in anger watching Karan holding Annika's hand & dragging her to the dance floor. Shivay could see how uncomfortable Annika was, but all this was happening because of him only. He shouldn't have come here. Suddenly Karan got a call & he went out to attend it.
Jennifer was observing all this. Shivay was least interested in meeting anyone.
"Hot chick right?" That man said to Shivay looking towards Annika.
"Excuse me?" Shivay frowned.
"Let me go & have a dance with her" he went away before Shivay could react.
Jennifer cupped his faced & started dancing, trying to ignore him from looking there.
"Its just a dance baby, let Annika enjoy" she said coming dangerously close to Shivay.

•ANNIKA•
Annika was standing alone, suddenly she saw a tall & fair guy standing in front of her.
"Would you mind having a dance with me baby" he said, she could smell that he was drunk.
"No thanku" she said while trying to move away.
"Hey dont be a shy piece of shit man" that guy pulled her through her waist, by which Annika landed on his chest.
She was trying to escape, she started struggling in his arms but his grip was so strong. He started nuzzling his nose near her neck. Suddenly she felt herself free from his grip & what she heard next just made her shock, but in happiness.
"How dare you touch my wife" Shivay growled in anger punching the guy straight on his face. He was out of control now. All the anger, all the confusion, the frustration, the Jealousy, the irritation found its way now. Everyone stopped dancing, the music stopped. He was just punching him again & again. The guy actually fainted but Shivay didnt stopped.
"I will not leave you, you incompetent fuck" he shouted.
Jennifer was shocked to see this side of Shivay. This was the first time she saw him so angry. The way he said "how dare you touch my wife" burned her into ashes.
"Shivayyyy, leave him plz" Annika tried to stop him.
Jennifer came & pushed Annika away from Shivay.
"Baby plz stop, he will die! Leave him plzz" she said.
Meanwhile Karan came & stopped Shivay. He was just clueless listening to all that he heard.
"Shivay leave him" he said dragging Shivay.
He stopped. Gave an angry look to all the people standing there except Annika. His eyes were blood red wity anger & rage. He could see the tears in her eyes. He could see the fear in her eyes. He held her hand softly & went away from there.

•SHIVAY•
"Annika I m really sorry, all this has happened because of me. You were right I should not have brought you here. This is just my mistake. Please forgive me. I promised you that I will protect you but I failed" he said cupping her face & the next moment he smashed his hand on the mirror in frustration.
"Shivaayyy" she schreamed in terror.
"What have you done" she suddenly held his hand, it was bleeding. She knew he was guilty. She tore the corner of her sari & tied it around his hand.
"Its bleeding so badly, are you mad Shivay" she said scolding him.
"This is just a punishment for not being able to protect you" he said looking into her eyes.
"I m safe because of you Shivay & I know you are never gonna fail your promise" she said.
Suddenly they heard someone coming in the room. It was Jennifer.
"What is wrong with you Shivay? What have you done? Have you lost your mind" she came & hugged Shivay.
"I m fine Jennifer" he said.
Annika saw her hugging him & she quietly left the room. Shivay saw her leaving but he couldn't stop her because of Jennifer.
"Why did you beaten him so badly, he was just dancing" she argued.
"To fuck with his dance!!! Was that a dance? Didnt you see how was he forcing her to dance! How dare he touch her without her consent" he said in anger.
"But Shivay.."
"No but Jennifer, I m gonna kill the person who tried to misbehave with her. She is my god damn friend before my wife. Till the time I m with her I cant risk her life. I would make sure I protect her even after I would leave her. She is doing a lot for me & you. I cant be a fuckin piece of ungrateful shit." he said making it clear to Jennifer.
"Okay fine. Plz take rest, Ill be back" she said leaving the room.

•ANNIKA•
She was just walking in the lobby when suddenly Jennifer came & stood in front of her.
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK OF YOURSELF YOU BITCH?!!" Jennifer shouted on her.
"What??" Annika replied in utter shock.
"Do you think I m blind? I can see this drama of yours wherein you are behaving like a fucking innocent wife who is sacrificing her husband for his happiness. But dont you dare try to think that i m a fool. I m very well aware of this filthy trick of you bloody Indian girls who try to impress the man with all kinds of tactics by behaving all naive & pious in front of them. What do you think if you will try, shivay will leave me & fall in love with you? Let me just burst your bubble, Shivay loves me & only me! Dont you dare come near close him. He will give you divorce & will marry me. Understand" she said with rage in her eyes.
Annika was literally dumbstruck. She knew Jennifer disliked her but to this extent, she never even imagined. It was all fine untill she said those things to her but how dare she abuse the culture of Indian girls.
"First of all, I m not trying any tactics on Shivay. I dont need to be with someone forcibly.
Secondly, I dont know if you are telling me this or trying to convince your heart that Shivay love you & will come back to you.
& lastly, just for your knowledge, Indian girls also know how to keep the happiness of their husband on the top priority list. So for me Shivay's happiness matters the most. I hope you understood what I said, coz I dont like to repeat things."  She said & moved away from there in a khidkitod way.
Jennifer couldn't believe that she said all that. She was insulted & she knew it. She thumped her foot in frustration & went away from there.

Annika went to the other room, she noticed the disbelief on everyone's face. Angelina, John, Ruskin, Karan all of them were shocked after knowing that she was Shivay's wife.
"Are you okay Annika?" Karan asked out of concern.
"Yes, I m fine" she replied.
"Annika, would you mind me asking a question?" he asked.
She knew what all he is gonna ask. She was prepared.
"Yes, I & Shivay are married Karan" she said before he could even ask.
Karan was shocked. He had literally started liking Annika. Her innocence, her shy face, her quite nature made him fall for her & this news came as a shock to him.
"Oh but.." he was about to ask when she said
"I dont want to talk about it Karan. I hope you wont mind" she said in a calm tone.
"No no its fine" he replied
"But you love him right?" his question shocked Annika. How did he knew she loved Shivay?
"What? I mean" she said stammering.
"I can see it in your eyes Annika" Karan said smiling at her.
She smiled back a bit embarrassed though. Her eyes alway betray her. The love she have for Shivay is visible in her eyes? Why!!! She dont want to tell this world that she loves Shivay. She just wants to keep to herself. She dont want the world to know that the guy she loves doesn't loves her back & he will soon leave her. Tears pooled up in her eyes.
She went to the window to look at the moon.
She was busy talking to the moon when she saw Jennifer kissing a guy in the garden of the hotel. She was shocked. She thought it was Shivay, she felt herself fainting, they were kissing? The guy was holding her so tightly. She felt her heart peircing her chest but the moment that guy turned, Annika felt a sudden thunder fall on her. It was not Shivay but the guy who misbehaved with her in the party. Annika frozed in shock. Jennifer was kissing that guy? How can she? Was she cheating & playing with Shivay? Damn!!!
Karan came & stood behind her, he was about to say something when he saw her face in shock. Her eyes were wide open & the moment he followed her eyes, he saw the same scene. Jennifer kissing that guy, it was a long kiss like lovers usually do.
Karan & Annika looked at each other in shock.
"What the fuck?!" escaped from their mouth. Annika was about to go to Shivay's room when she saw him coming with tears in his eyes.
He came & hugged her tightly.
"Annika...dad" he said choking.
Annika felt her body shivering.
"Shivay...What happened? What happened to dad?" She broke the hug & cupped his face.
"Dad's health is deteriorating, we need to go back asap" he said sobbing.
Annika, Karan, John, Ruskin, Angelina everyone was shocked.
Annika felt tears escaping her eyes. She cant see him like this.
"Shhh..look here, look her Shivay" she said cupping his face, but he was just crying. "Shivayyy" she shouted.
He looked into her eyes. He could see she was crying. "Nothing will happen to dad, are you listening!? He will be fine. Lets go Shivay" she said trying to console him.
He nodded with tears in his eyes & the next moment he hugged her tightly & cried. She responded the hug with same intensity.
Everyone present in the room had tears in their eyes.
Karan took some step backwards but a smile escaped his lips.
"They are meant to be together" he thought & smiled.
It was a day of shock for almost everyone.
His dad's health shocked Shivay.
Jennifer's reality shocked Annika.
Annika being married shocked Karan.
There were many of them stored for them all. Shocks which they didnt even knew coming.
