Heeeeelllllooooo! welcome to my second real story on Wattpad! ok so this is a Superhero Au and the reason I never said all this stuff earlier in the prologue chapter is cause I wanted some dramatic stuff even though it sucked but what ever!

*falls off horse and runs into a tree*

Megamind smiled evilly as he watched the city he took over so skillfully go on as if it wasn't almost completely taken over by crime. People ran about their daily lives. Although he hadn't done anything for almost seven months, he doubted that they'd completely forgotten about his being there. Besides, if anyone had forgotten, all that would change later that afternoon. He'd decided his location of destruction would be the mall at the town square, the one always packed with people day in, day out. He'd been monitoring their behavior throughout the months as he sat bored and once he was so bored he could have just blown up the city (he would never do that, what would be the fun in that, minus getting to see mass destruction. No he would have nothing to do after), he decided to do something instead of just playing checkers all day. he still hadn't won. and he was extremely frustrated with the game.

Megamind sighed. it would be more fun to play Super villain if there was a Superhero to fight. Someone in that mass of people had to have the guts to do something. then again, he hadn't really done anything lately.

sometimes, he really missed that guy, the last (and only) superhero of Cartons or what ever the city's name was. Metro Man. Yep. That guy. Real big, real strong and real full of him self. Kind of got annoying. He sometimes regretted killing him, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

Right?

Metro Man was history, literally, and now it was time to go cause some trouble.

Megamind smiled. This was going to be great.

"oh come on Elsa! pleeeeeaaaasssseeee! just one hour! I need a new dress for the welcome back party at school and so do you." My sister, Anna, gave me her best puppy dog eyes and I held it in, biting my lip and shutting my eyes tight.

I huffed and sighed dramatically, giving Anna an exasperated look. "ugh. fiiinnneee. We'll go to the mall. but only for an hour!" I warned her sternly. Anna squealed and hugged me tightly, making me wince. I hear Kai, our personal assistant, although he's more like a second father to us, groan and we both giggled. He hated driving us to the mall, because Anna always took longer than she said she would.

"only an hour. Elsa, drag her out if you have to."

"gotcha." I say and Anna pulls me along. I really don't want to do this.

An hour later, and Anna has bags of dresses but claims she doesn't have the perfect one yet. Really Anna?

Just as im dragging her out and we make it to the door, Anna suddenly has to pee. I groan as she hands me her bags and instructs me to go to the car.

I toss the bags into the trunk and flop onto the fancy seats of the limo in an exhausted plop.

"Elsa. Where is your sister?" I sit up at the tone of his voice. His voice is urgent, and scared. the ground starts vibrating.

BOOM. pause. BOOM. pause.

a shadow covers our car and what I see angers me more than it frightens me. there, in a giant metal suit, is Megamind himself. Guess he was starting to get bored after seven months.

I stare at the giant metal monster in front of me. it takes me a minute to process what's happening before I hear the door open and Anna slam it shut, yelling at Kia to move. I snap out of my trance and glance around in terror, before doing a double take, and what I see makes me angry.

there, in the mall, is a little girl, clutching her half-broken doll and crying. she's all alone and I notice Megamind walking in her direction, an insane look in his eyes as he takes huge, loud steps to the girl. I yell at Ki stop and scramble out of the car before it has even stopped. I want to rush over but what can I do? I feel a cold sensation crawling up my sleeves and my legs and stare at my now-white sleeves and an idea pops into my head.

a second later and im all clad in white, a skin-tight white suit with a blue snowflake in the middle on a belt at my waist. a white cape billows behind me, but I decide against it and it comes off, melting on the ground. on my face, I place a simple white mask over my eyes to conceal my identity and turn my attention to the little girl. All it would take is one step and she'd be gone.

"no turning back now." I mutter and point to my feet forming blades under the heels of my boots, and take off, leaving a trail of ice wherever I step. I hear kia pull away and Anna scream my name but I dont take my focus off the little girl.

Megamind lifts the machine's large foot. Time slows down. I dive at the girl and the foot slams on the pavement behind me. I roll on the ground, protecting the little girl with my arms, and when we stop I pull away and touch the doll, and it becomes perfect once again. the little girl is crying and I give her a hug, which she returns as I pick her up and skate to the safety of the parking lot. I put her down and turn my attention to the Villain in front of me.

Megamind smiles. "Ah ha! finally!" he aims a foot at me but I roll to the side, successfully getting his back on the parking lot. "So! What have we here? A little girl wanting to ply superhero princess?"

That pisses me off. Who does he think he is? "Excuse me?"

"Ah! She speaks. But the real question is, does she fight?" I barely had time to react as bullets rained down on me. I shut my eyes and braced for death, but when I opened my eyes, in front of me was a wall of ice, littered with think bullets that could easily kill you in a single shot. I narrowed my eyes. He's a stupid guy, but he's obviously playing with me. I slid to the side and shot sharp sheets of ice at the giant thing's leg, taking it down. Inside, the man growled, slashing with his arms. I shot and shot until the other leg came down, then the arms, and finally, with a big blow straight through its metal stomach, the machine shut down, sparks flying but not exploding as my ice took over its insides. I blasted the protective glass, revealing an unconscious Megamind.

"Here's a little souvenir of who beat you. A little girl playing Princess Superhero." I said, quietly mocking him as i formed a bracelet out of ice and placed it on his wrist.

Elsa then stood up straight as she heard voices coming closer. Wait. We're rose sirens? Oh no. She glanced around.

I have to get out of here, she thought.

Without thinking, she realized that she had made a pathway of ice down the back way of the mall. She quickly used that as an exit and glided off, quickly melting the pathway behind her as the police came into the scene, bewildered at the marvel that it was, knowing that they finally had a new super hero, and who would've thought it would be a girl.

With ice powers too. Even in Corona, it was unheard of.

Until now.
