Ernst pov
I was asleep in my room when I felt like something wrong was about to happen, something wrong about clara. It felt as if she was about to fall into danger. I tried to shake of the feeling but I kept feeling as if she needed saving. I tossed and turned in bed until I couldn't bear it. I got up and walked towards here room in my wolf form, only to find it empty. I panicked. I was scared. Did someone snatch her? No! I will not spare the person who snatched her.
I sniffed the air and caught her scent, I followed it and found her trying to escape, trying to climb the steel gate.
I knew she could neverake ot to the other side but if she fell on the points of the gate she could seriously get hurtm I immediately shifted to mynprimitive form and carefully but powerfully pulled her down and carried her tonmy roomm I was angry, red was what I could see. I threw her on the bed and was just about to pounce on her, when I noticed how scared she was looking. I ran a hand over my face and calmed down. I screamed at her and saw her shudder. Good she had tonne scared if me, I was the alpha. I looked at her again but then I calmed myself.  I couldn't scare her, I couldn't hurt her, she was my Luna, my mate, the alpha's mate. The pack and I needed her for stability, she was human but no doubt she was my bride, my wolf bride. She deserved respect she deserved everything, she had to stay, even if it was against her will. I couldn't let her go, I can never let her go, I will never let her go, she was mine and only mine and I hers and only hers.

"Why" I asked a lot calmer " Is my staff not taking care of you properly. Is it Alex, did he try to hurt you again" I swear if it was him then I was going to kill him. He may be the beta but inam the alpha and she the luna, nonone except the alpha has the right to hurt her, hell even I don't have the right to hurt her. She was to pure, to soft, to cute to be hurt by us dogs.
"Because I don't want to be kept here as a prisoner, I want to be free"  She said
I looked at her with confusion. She was free I didn't restrict her tonanythingm she was allowed to do anything she wished on the estate. I could protect her easily, I could defend her easily, I could give her the world.
" But you are free, you can walk, talk and go anywhere in the estate without being hurt " I said.
" But that is not freedom" She said " I want to go home "
I huffed
" Home? You mean to your step mom who daily hits you when you don't wake early, or to your dad who thinks of you as a liability or to your abusive ex or to a village who wants to get rid of you" I said
She remained silent. When the moon goddess told me that my nate was clara, I started to keep a tab in her from a distance, I noticed how her family and how the villagers treated her. I was seconds away from ripping their heads. But Alex stopped me.
" I am offering you a much better life, a life where these maids would take care of you, a life where you will be safer and protected and most of all loved " I said . I would love her to the moon and back. Never will she be alone,  she will always have me to rely on
" But why, why are you offering me all this. How do you know about my life " She asked
" Because your my wolf bride, my mate "  I said
" What?! " She screamed
" Yep, you're the one and only, the alpha's mate" I said
She looked at me dumbfounded.  She was hell shocked and scared. Of course she would be, she is a human, knew nothing about wolfs and suddenly I am bombing her with wild factsm of course this was going to be her reaction
" I don't want to be your mate. I hardly even know you"  She said as scooted to the furthest end of the bed. Why go away from me love, I'll never hurt you.
Her stomach growled.
" Your hungry" I said of course she was, she hardly had anything after breakfast.

" Let's go downstairs and I'll fix you something to eat. The servenrs must be resting right now and the rest of the pack must have gone out to secure the area" I said asi stood up. She made no move
" We can do this the easy way or the hard way, clara. You can't escape and you know it, it would be better for you to give in" I said and she knew I was right.  She nodded and followed me downstairs. Thank God! I didn't want to force ber but feeding her is necessary.she sat at the kitchen counter as she watched me re heat the left overs of dinner and plate them for her . I knew she was staring st me, a part of me was happy. She ate in silence. K watched how delicately she broke the bread with her slim finger and how sophisticatly she rolled the pasta on her fork. Once she was done , she stood up
" Satisfied? Do you want something else" I asked and she shook her head as  she stood up to keep her plate in the sink.
" I won't run a way.... But if I am going to stay here, I want to know more about you, more about your pack, more about the forest and most importantly I want to know how the heck did I end up being your mate. Also if I am going to be stick with you for the rest of my life, I guess I would appreciate having a few means of entertainment in this estate" She said facing me and I nodded. She spoke like a true luna, in a tough demanding tone. She did me proud.
" I'll arrange for some horses, paints and wool for you to look into. For now you rest, I'll introduce you formally to the pack and the staff in the morning" I  said and she nodded.  Of course she wanted to meet the pack, they were her family as well. I realised that I hadn't even told her the names of the pack or their ranks. I hadn't even intoduced her formally as my mate go the pack either and that should have been my first step. But right now he needed to sleep to rest and I was going to make sure no one disturbed her. She started to make my way to her bedroom whe I stopped me

" Your room has been changed, it shall be next to mine" I said " I want to make sure you won't pull the stunt you did today again clara . There are more dangerous things in the forest than you know. If by any chance you would have escaped the estate today, there was a high chance that you would have been killed by one of the forest dwellers and I would not have been there to protect you clara" I said as i led her to her new room.
Of course the enchanted forest had lots of mythical things, vampires, trolls, minaotures  and ferals which roamed around in the night. I couldn't let her sleep far from me, not when I knew that few of the ferals were lurking near the estate ready to make an entry.
I made sure that there were enough candles lit for her, I didn't want her to stumble into furniture and hurt herself. I personally made sure that the sheets were pure satin and were pretty. I made sure the bed was composed of the comfiest matress in the whole of the world. I restocked the fruit bowl next to the table with fresh fruits and made sure  she was well tucked in before I left the room.  I returned to my wolf form and sat down outside her room and gaurded it.  With me around no one could harm my clara.
