We reached the mooncrescent pack territory and I stood waiting for their alpha Ryan to make an appearance. I knew better than  to step in a wolfs territory without introducing yourself
Even if your best friend said with the alpha it was rude and dangerous.
"Ernst black, my bestie"  He said as I fell to the ground with Ryan hugging me. Oh did I tell you Ryan and I met during a war, I saved  his life and that's how our friendship blossomed, krs been 10 years now, we were 16 at that time.
"Hello Ryan " I said patting his back. He helped me to his feet and turned his attention to Clara and his eyes widened
"Clara crystal grey, was that your name before you met ersnt and married him" He asked and she nodded
"How do you know? " She asked.
"Because you were the former alphas and Luna's child, my  younger sister " He said
"What do you mean, I don't understand" She said
"Let's talk over tea" He said and I nodded. Holding Clara by the waist I followed Ryan into his lavish private cottege.
"Tyler kid, get some tea running for all three of us" He said. I watched as Tyler's eyes widened when they landed on Clara
"Is that... Is that... " He stuttered.
"Yes child, my sister is back" Said Ryan as he motioned us to sit.
"I am not your sister, I have no brother,y parents are dead" Said Clara, clearly frustrated from how the news was turning out.

Clara's pov
I had no brother, the only family I knew of was my abusive father, abusive step ma and my loving birth ma, at least what I thought m I don't care if Ryan is an alpha, he could never be my brother. Could he?
"Baby sister please hear me out " He said in a very soft tone. I could see hurt in his eyes when I refused to let him touch me, let alone sit next to me.
"Speak" I said. I was confused, scared. What I knew was either a lie or the truth. I wanted this to be a hallucination, I wanted to know the truth early, I wanted answers, I demanded answers. I needed answers.
Ryan nodded. No one was not going to use a title, not until I prove that he is lying.
"Sister" He started onlynto be cut of by me
"Don't call me that, at least not till I believe you" I said. I noticed him flinch but he nodded
"Luna Clara, long ago alpha Andrew and luna Elizabeth gave birth to a human child. Luna elizebeth was wolf and her mate  alpha Andrew was human. There was a fifty fifty chance of the children they beared to be human or wolf. I was their first born and was pure wolf. 5 years later they gave birth to the most beautiful girl in the world, her eyes we're chocolate brown and her lips rosy red. She was beautiful and that child was none other than you. A few weeks after everything changed. It had been 8 hours and you still were not responding to any treatment. Your fever was high and your body refused all the medicines. The doctor feared we were losing you and we almost did until you showed up today. The doctors that day lost you and the whole packed mourned. Till date we mourned you but not anymore. We burried you in the cementry, I lost you even before I could probe to be a brother" He said crying.
"How can I believe you" I asked, my voice raspy but I was a lady who believed in evidence. On my evidence could change my mind about everything.
"I can show you the birth certificate, death certificate, the doctor who helped in the delivery, photo albums and also if you want we can have a DNA test" He said and I nodded. I wanted all these things to happen.

A few hours later we were waiting for the DNA results and to my surprise, mine and Ryan's DNA matched. He really was my brother and I his sister. This pack was my actual family. I looked up at Ryan with my eyes glistnimg with unshed tears
"Brother.. " I whispered as I wrapped my arms around him
"I can't belive it, my baby sister is alive and here in my arms" He said.
"I didn't know I had a family here" O said as he hugged tighter. Ernst cleared his throat and nothing of us turned to face him.
"If you and your pack burried her then how, did she end up with that abusive family? He asked. All three of us fell silent.
" Uhm, I was told by my step ma that i was found in a graveyard and someone had burried me and my birth mom, I mean good adoptive mom rescued me and took me home" I said, clearly confused what to call my then what I thought birth mom. They nodded.
"How did you know my name? " I asked Ryan. He knew my real name when I was in the human world
"Uhm that was because of me" Said a tall handsome man stepping out from the shadows. I recognised the eyes, it was if the same person I saw that day when we went down town.

Ernst pov
I watched as a figure appeared out from shadows
"Uhm it was because of me " He said as everyone's head snapped to. His direction
" Guys this is Chase, my beta. He got to know about you being alive Clara a few weeks ago.  He had found a letter I'm which the former nurse who told is that you were dead had confessed that she had lied.  Immediately I had assigned all my pack members to go and look for you and we even went to your old house only to find that you had ran away. " Said Ryan.
"Where is the nurse? "  I growled how could she declare my love dead when she was alive.  She was going to pay with her life.
"Dead." Said Ryan.
"Good else I would have killed her myself" I said
"Alpha Ryan killed nurse Lucy the day we found the letter. She even confessed that it was all because she didn't want a human joining our pack" Said Tyler and I growled
"Human or wolf, she was a baby" I said
"If that kind hearted lady hadn't rescued her, she would be dead and I would have never met her, my mate would have been dead before ineven got the chance to love and cherish her" I said. I felt Clara run her hands up and down my arms trying to calm me down. I nuzzled my head in her neck and inhaled her scent reminding myself that she was here in my arms safe and sound
" A few days ago I saw luna Clara, walk into your territory and j couldn't resit the urge to follow. When I met you at the outskirts of your territory I realised that she was your mate and somehow had found her way to you. Knowing she was safe with you, I left to return home and tell alpha, but you guys beat me to it" Said Chase
"So you were that creepy black red eyed wolf" I asked  and he nodded.
"But you left so long ago, how did you take so much time to return" I asked curiously
"Rogue attack" He said and I nodded.
"Sister, I had no idea that you literally would end up with best friend" Said Ryan and she laughed.
"Me either" She said smiling at me
"Ernst, if only you would have made me meet your mate earlier, I would have recouncelled with my sister earlier. Now as a punishment you guys need to stay here for a few days. I want to know my sister and I know the pack want to know her as well" He said and I nodded.
"Of course, and I guess I should tell you that your sister is a pure wolf, she transformed a few days ago" I said
"Yipiee" Said Ryan
"How come mooncrescent pack isn't affected by wolfbane" Asks Clara
"Cause we are one of the original packs of wolfs, directly blessed by moon goddess hence we have a few extra perks that the other wolfs" Said Ryan and Clara nodded...

"Alpha, mooncrescent is under attack, rogues are attacking from all directions" Said a wolf as he ran inside
"Shit, everyone positions, let's fight. Clara Ernst guys go into to hiding" Said Ryan
"I ll fight too, I will help my best friend" I said
"Clara go with the others into hiding
" No, I will fight to ". She said
" Clara". I said weary
"I will protect my mate and family " She said and I had to give up.
"Alright then, let's fight. " I said. We all transformed and walked into the battle field.
