It's mid morning, and I go to check on Shay who looked more like a vampire than a wherewolf with his very pale skin and ash colored hair, though his ears and tail were sticking out. Both of us hadn't got a lot of sleep since Shay kept puking in the middle of the night. "Baby, it's almost time to go, you ready?" I asked him. He groaned in response as I picked him up and took him out to the car where he sprawled out in the back seats. I sat a bucket beside him in case he got sick on the way to the hospital. I quickly carry him inside, careful not to hurt him when we arrived. I sat in the waiting chair as the doctor looked Shay over. "Mr. Timber, mind coming back here. Your husband has some thing important to tell you," the doctor tells me. I nodded and followed him into the room where Shay was staying in.He looked like he was in a lot of pain. I went to his side and held his hand tightly. "It's okay, you'll be okay," I say to him softly. "Sir, I have good news for you," the doctor smiled, and so did Shay. "The good news is that…congratulations you're going to be a father of an adorable wolf pup" I was a bit shocked at this. "W-wha?" I looked to Shay who had tears in his eyes. "We'll be the best parents, and we'll raise them well," I licked shay's cheek. "There's only one child," he says to me. "Yeah but…we don't know their gender yet," I frowned. "Actually we do, sorry I hadn't been to the hospital sooner. I just didn't feel as bloated and weak as I do now," he smiled weakly. I can't believe he's been hiding this for about five months!"Huh?" I looked at him, then his stomach. I hadn't noticed how much his stomach had expanded until now, despite my hands being under it most of the time. "I forgive you" I couldn't resist when he gave me his adorable 'sorry' look. "It's okay, I forgive you," I kiss him softly.   "May I ask what the gender is?" I asked. Shay nodded. "I will reveal it in a special way tomorrow if I feel okay, and if not then when ever I do," he smiled. "Okay," I sighed, though I did like a good surprise. The doctor had been watching us from the corner of the room, came over. "He'll have to stay here a couple more hours while I check a few more places and ask him a few questions. Mind getting him some food?" He asked. I nodded as I looked to Shay nervously before leaving the room and head to the food bar in the hospital. I come back with a tray full of his favorite food. "Thanks baby," we share a quick kiss before I help him sit up and feed him. We're going to be the best parents, I promise you Shay. We will.

Two weeks later~

Shay still hasn't told me the gender of the baby, but I can't get mad. He's been sleeping for most of everyday, and if he wasn't he was either
A. Bathroom
B. Eating
C. Puking
Or D. Ordering stuff for the baby nursery.

I begin to worry about him. He's been taking more medicine and his ears and tail has been out more often than usual. I decided to call over one of the doctors to make sure he was alright. They told me he had to take these pills for his stomach cramps. I was relieved that he was going to be okay. These days have really been hard since I felt bad, knowing he was in pain and I couldn't do anything about it except hold his hand and tell him everything's going to be okay. I hope my words are true, I hate lying to him and I hope for the best, for all of us. Just then, someone had sounded the alarm of an intruder of the pack head quarters. I growl, rather annoyed. I sat the bowl of soup next to Shay's bed and headed to see who it was.
