As if drawn by a magnet, their small group trotted through the trees, following the unknown wolf's beautiful voice. They moved in silence.

Snowy was shocked. She knew that voice. She had heard that voice everyday of the past year. She loved that voice. Tears fell freely from her eyes. She didn't see how it was possible, but that was Sunfire's voice.

Star peered around the trees as a clearing came into view. A rock stood in the center of the clearing, and evergreen trees lined the clearing. Five wolves stood close to the rock, two of them on the rock. Four were females and one a male. The oldest, a dark brown-black color, stood on the rock. Her voice seemed quite normal. 

A pup stood next to her. It was the one issuing the telltale howl. It was the same colors as the other female. Around the rock stood a grey-colored female, a sandy female pup, and a black male. 

Star realized that it obviously wasn't Sunfire. As she got closer, she realized the pup seemed to be a female. Next to her, Star felt Snowy take an intake of breath.

The brownish-black female wolf-the leader, Coralheart thought-approached Coralheart.

"Who are you?" The female asked. 

"I am Coralheart. These two"-she indicated Snowy and Star-"are my children. This is Shadowpaw." She indicated Shadowpaw. "Our pack, the Island pack, was destroyed in a hurricane. We come seeking refuge, and a new life." The last words made her think of Icetail, which hurt.

The other female looked at her with hard blue eyes. "I see. You and your children-and him"- she motioned at Shadowpaw-"have my permission to join our pack, the Spirit pack. I am Starlight, the alpha of this pack."

Ok so guys..... sorry it took so long to update!! Did you like it? I hope I introduced Starlight and her pack in alright.
