Jeno's POV

After a long day of me and Jaemin explaining our lives to each other we were laying on my bed silently but comfortably. By now it's already nighttime as well. Good thing it's Friday.

"Hey Jeno?"

"Yeah?"

"If I'm your mate does that make me a werewolf too?" I brush the hair off of Jaemin's face.

"It wouldn't necessarily mean that but yeah you are one." Jaemin nods with a soft smile.

"What role do I have?"

"I don't know. I've never met your wolf before." I try to sleep but Jaemin has a lot of questions.

"Then what's your role?" Jaemin lays on top of me and gets comfortable.

"Alpha or delta." I say with a yawn.

"You can be both??" Jaemin lifts his head up quickly almost hitting my jaw.

"I can." I gently pull his head back down and I hug him tightly to make sure he's warm.

"I thought you could only be one thing." I nod.

"I'm rare." I shortly answer as I'm trying to go to sleep.

"How?" I sigh.

"Can I explain in the morning? I'm tired baby." Jaemin blushes at the nickname and I didn't realize I said it.

"Okay...but what if-"

"Jaemin go to sleep." I say cutting him off and he whimpers before curling into a ball on my chest.

"Goodnight"

"Goodnight baby"

"Jenooooo you said you would explain in the morning!" I groan.

"After I woke up maybe?" I sit up and lean against my wall.

"Oh sorry...but I want to know!" I chuckle at Jaemin's excited face and I pull him onto my lap.

"What do you want to know?" Jaemin plays with one of my hands with a pout.

"Well last night I started thinking about how you said I'm your mate...why didn't you tell me before?" I hug his waist with my free hand.

"I didn't want you to be afraid of me. It's not everyday that someone you've never talked to before comes up to you and tells you you're their mate and you're a werewolf. It could scar you." Jaemin nods in understanding.

"Why did you call me baby last night? We're not dating..." I immediately fully wake up just from that.

"I called you what?"

"You called me baby, twice." I groan and hit my head against the wall.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable it's just me and my wolf want you and-"

"You want me?" Jaemin says with a smirk and I roll my eyes.

"Of course I do, have you not seen yourself? You're loved by everyone." Jaemin frowns slightly before a bigger smirk came onto his face.

"So now you love me?"

"I may love you but I swear on my life I will slap you."

"Noted."

I hear my wolf whisper to me as I sit in a comfortable silence with Jaemin.

'It's still your rut dumbass' I groan at the thought of my rut.

"Is everything ok Jeno?" Jaemin watches me in concern.

"Yeah everything's fine." I mumble.

"No it's not so please tell me what's wrong. If we're going to be mates I need to know more about you." I rest my forehead on his shoulder and breath in his scent.

"I'm on my ᴿᵘᵗ..."

"Jeno speak up I couldn't hear you." I sigh.

"I'm on my Rᴜᴛ..."

"Jeno-"

"I'm on my rut!" I exclaim making Jaemin jump.

"What's a rut?" I groan as I feel myself getting hot.

"It's kind of like a girls period except there's no blood and it lasts for a month. Omegas have heats which are even closer to periods because they produce slick which makes it easier for their mate to...well, mate them." Jaemin nods and holds my hand.

"Do you...need help?" I shake my head.

"We don't know if you're an omega for not. If you are and I mate you then you could become pregnant or it could mess with your heat cycle since it would be before your first heat. If you aren't then I don't really know what will happen." Jaemin nods once again.

"Is there anything I can do to help you?" He asks worriedly.

"I don't know...I've never had help on my ruts." Jaemin lays down next to me and I lay down soon after not bothering with the pain of my rut.

"Let's sleep for now okay? I don't like seeing you in pain." I nod and try my best to sleep beside him.

A few hours later and I wake up to an empty bed. I look around to see if Jaemin is still here but I don't see him.

I whimper and curl into a ball on my bed as my rut gets worst.

"Jeno are you okay?" Jaemin walks in with a bag and an umbrella.

I get up and hug him tightly.

"Where did you go?" I ask worriedly.

"I went back to school to get my backpack and on the way here I got some food for the both of us." I nod and pull him back onto the bed only to smother him with cuddles.

I almost fell asleep again until I smelt a sweet smell out of nowhere and Jaemin groaned.

"What's wrong?" Jaemin shakes his head and looks down.

"I don't know...it hurts Jeno." I become very worried about Jaemin as I watch him squirm around trying to find a comfortable position without too much pain.

I feel the bed and there's a wet spot making my eyes widen. I grab Jaemin's arm to keep him from moving but I got a moan in response.

My wolf tries to take over again but I block him out as much as I can.

"Jaemin, baby listen to me. I need you to tell me where it hurts." Jaemin whimpers and almost cries at the pain.

"Waist down it hurts a-and neck hurts too!" I gasp as I try to calm myself down but to no avail.

I hold Jaemin's hand because I'm not sure what he's comfortable with.

"I'm here baby."
