Continuation of "A Sith's Apprentice" Second Crowvern POV chapter, BTW. Enjoy!

"So, what planet are we heading to this time, Master?" Ilona asked.

"You tell me. Meditate; try and locate a crystal." I said.

Ilona and I were floating through space after leaving our previous planet; Sekae.

She is not going to find one...

Ilona closed her eyes and became silent. I waited a couple of minutes before breaking the silence.

"Anything?" I asked.

"No, but I do see something," Ilona said.

"What is it?"

"I see... a dark planet, with an even darker tunnel, with a black pedestal in the middle, I think...?"

I turned to my apprentice and continued to listen.

"Do you know where it is?" I asked.

"No, but I can direct us there." Ilona said.

Ilona then started putting in random coordinates. After a while, we soon jumped into hyperspace.

"Do you actually know where you are going?" I asked.

"I wouldn't be taking the lead if I didn't." Ilona retorted.

I sat back and sighed.

Perhaps I was wrong about Ilona not being able to find a kyber crystal...

When we came out of hyperspace, a black and beige planet was in front of us.

"There! That's the planet from my vision." Ilona exclaimed.

I took the controls and piloted the ship towards the planet. When we entered the planet's atmosphere, the ground was black and sandy. Landing the ship, my apprentice and I walked out of the ship and onto the dark and sandy planet.

"What is this place?" I asked.

"I... don't know. I just know something's here." Ilona said.

Gee, that is comforting...

I looked up at the sky and it was black and red.

This place reminds me of Malachor...

"So, where do we go from here?" I asked.

"Give me a minute." Ilona said.

She then held her hand out to the never-ending distance.

"This way!" she said.

Ilona then broke into a sprint. Rolling my eyes, I sprinted after her. I then saw her stop in front of a dark-colored temple.

"Is this what you saw in our vision?" I asked.

"I believe so..." Ilona said.

I activated my lightsaber and let its red-light illuminate the dark tunnel.

"You know I don't need your lightsaber to see in the dark, right?" Ilona asked.

"I do not have night vision." I said.

"Oh, right."

I rolled my eyes with an annoyed look on my face.

"Lead the way, apprentice." I said.

Ilona nodded and walked into the temple with me in tow. The pillars of this temple were cracked and falling apart.

I am surprised this temple is still in one piece...

"This was definitely in my vision," Ilona said.

"You also said that there was a black pedestal. Where is that?" I asked.

"In the center of this place, but it already feels like we've been walking in circles."

I groaned in frustration.

"Are you sure this is what you saw? I do not want to have come here to go on a wild goose chase for a stupid kyber crystal." I said.

"Isn't that what you wanted? For me to find a kyber crystal?" Ilona asked.

I breathed out and went silent. We then stopped at a fork in the path.

"Three paths to choose from. What do we do?" Ilona asked.

"Don't ask me. You led us here." I said.

Ilona sighed and held out her hand towards the tunnels. As I was waiting, I then heard a loud shriek from above. When I looked up, I saw a large, blackbird perched on one of the pillars. Its eyes were red, like mine. It soon hopped off the pillar and then flew down at us.

"Ilona, get down!" I said, bringing my apprentice to the ground.

When the giant bird flew over us, it started flying down the middle tunnel.

"Come on!" I said, scrambling off the ground.

Ilona got up and started following me down the middle tunnel. The bird soon started picking up speed.

"It's picking up speed!" Ilona cried.

"And so are we..." I said, my strides becoming quicker

After what felt like an eternity, the bird soon landed in a large room. Ilona and I stopped, taking in the much-needed oxygen. I looked up at the large bird and saw that it was standing behind a black pedestal.

"The pedestal from my vision." Ilona said.

"Okay, but where is the kyber crystal?" I asked.

When I asked this, the large bird let out a loud shriek.

"What do you want?" I asked.

Then, my lightsaber was removed from my hand, and it floated over to the bird.

"Hey! Give that back!" I said.

My lightsaber was then placed on the black pedestal. When that happened, some parts of the pedestal started glowing red. My lightsaber was soon enveloped in bright red light. The light was so bright, Ilona, and I had to shield our eyes. When the light died down, I lowered my hands and was in awe of what I saw. The lightsaber that was there wasn't like anything I've ever seen.

"What just happened?" Ilona asked.

I walked over to the pedestal and picked up the lightsaber. It was black and red with black wings engraved on the sides. When I ignited the blade, a crimson red blade appeared.

"Whoa..." I said in awe.

I then looked up at the large bird who has been watching us the whole time.

"What is this, and who are you?" I asked.

After I asked, the large bird did something unexpected.

"I am Ravenna." the bird said.

I looked back at Ilona and she was just as surprised as me.

"You talk?" I asked.

"Of course. That lightsaber you are holding is known as the Dark Wing Saber." Ravenna said.

I looked down at the glowing lightsaber and smiled.

"With this, I'll be able to kill Zelara once and for all." I said.

"Do not get your hopes up, Crowvern." Ravenna said.

I looked up at her with a confused look.

"Your former Padawan, Zelara was it? She has acquired a similar saber, the Lone Wolf Saber. It is equally powerful to the Dark Wing Saber." Ravenna said.

Why am I not surprised...?

"I am not worried about her." I said.

Ravenna sighed and shook her head.

"Ravenna, do you know where we can acquire a kyber crystal for Ilona?" I asked.

Ravenna looked at Ilona and then back at me.

"She does not need one," Ravenna said.

"What? How else am I supposed to fight Zelara if I ever encounter her?" Ilona asked, walking up to my side.

"The answer will come to you, young one."

Ilona cast her gaze to the ground in disgust.

"Come along, Ilona. We can train here for a while." I said, making my way towards the exit.

Ilona nodded and began following me. When we were out of the temple, the walk back to the ship was a quiet one.

"I guess my vision led us for you to get the Dark Wing Saber." Ilona said, her voice breaking the silence.

"Yeah, guess so." I said.

Silence passed through us once more.

"Master?" Ilona asked.

I looked down at her with a patient look.

"Will you continue to train me, even though I'm clearly not fit to have a kyber crystal?" she asked.

"That depends," I replied.

"On what?"

"Do you want me to continue training you in the ways of the Sith, or as an assassin?"

Ilona stopped in her tracks to think.

"Why an assassin?" Ilona asked.

I stopped walking and sighed.

"You are far more suited to be an assassin and spy than anything else. I'll teach you what I know since your luck with finding a kyber crystal is not getting any better; that is, if you want to be an assassin/spy." I said.

Ilona was silent for a while before replying.

"Alright, I'll become an assassin/spy." she said.

With a single nod, I started walking again.

At least training her to be an assassin will be easier than trying to shape her into something she simply cannot become...

"Are you still going to train me to use the Force?" Ilona asked, jogging up to my side.

"I mean, I have to. Do not want you to die at the start of battle." I said.

As if I cared for her life...

When we reached the ship, I stopped and turned to face Ilona.

"Go prep the ship and set course for Sekae." I said.

"Yes, Master." Ilona said.

When she disappeared into the ship, I sat down on the dark-colored ground and began to meditate.

The dark aura on this planet is immense...

I soon took out the Dark Wing Saber and clutched it in my fist.

If Zelara has the Lone Wolf Saber, then that means she has gotten more powerful... I know it, I can feel it...

Activating my weapon, I watched the crimson blade appear. I could practically feel its power. I deactivated my weapon and sighed.

I do hope you are ready, Zelara. In the past, you may have won the battle, but the war will be mine...
