Adventures in Force-sitting
Hey everyone! First a quick shout out to my good IRL friend Xaliber_gaming28, who gave this suggestion.
Okay, maybe trying to guess 1 out of 20 episodes wasn't the best idea. The episode was "The Future of the Force" (Season 2, Episode 10). I'm sorry, and I know it was hard to figure out which one it was, but who doesn't love a little challenge? Now, on with the story!
It was a warm afternoon and the Ghost crew, and I was wondering what we should do. I was polishing my lightsaber, Chopper was messing with Ezra, Hera and Sabine were working on the Ghost's hyperdrive, but I had no idea what Kanan and Zeb were doing. I then saw the Ghost ramp open and Kanan stepped out. I got up and walked over to him when I noticed a young woman with orange skin and white markings on her face walked up to us.
"Nice to see you again Ahsoka." Kanan said.
"Likewise, Kanan." the woman said.
Ahsoka?
"Who's this Kanan?" I asked.
"This is Ahsoka Tano, a Jedi, like us." Kanan replied.
"I've heard a lot about you from the Rebels, Zelara June. It's an honor to finally meet the Wolf Jedi of Lothal." Ahsoka said holding out her hand.
I smiled and grasped her armor-plated hand.
"It's nice to meet you too, Ahsoka." I said.
"So, why are you here?" Kanan asked.
"What I have to discuss is Jedi business." Ahsoka said.
Kanan and I glanced at each other and smiled.
"Guess we qualify." Kanan said.
"More than I do." Ahsoka said.
The three then walked in the Ghost and in Kanan's cabin.
"So, what's up?" Kanan asked.
"I've been monitoring transmissions from Mustafar to gain more information about the Sith Lord. Instead, I've learned more about his Inquisitors. It seems they have a secondary mission for retrievals." Ahsoka said.
"We already know they hunt surviving Jedi, but what else is new?" I asked.
"What else are they after?" Kanan asked.
Ahsoka paced around the room before continuing.
"I am guessing at this point. I managed to decipher and decode two sets of coordinates. I was just on my way to one of them now." Ahsoka said.
"And you want us to go after the second." Kanan said.
"We're in." I said, walking to the door.
Ahsoka smiled and followed us to the door.
"You should bring Ezra along with you." Ahsoka said.
"He's already briefed on the mission." Kanan said.
Kanan opened the door and Ezra fell inside. Ezra quickly got up and sheepishly smiled.
"Hey, guys..." Ezra said.
"Nosey as ever, Bridger." I said.
"Ahsoka said it was Jedi business."
Ahsoka couldn't help but smile.
"Bring Zeb as well. He proved himself against the Inquisitors before." Ahsoka said.
The three of us nodded in agreement.
"So, where are we going?" Ezra asked.
After Ahsoka gave us the coordinates, Ezra, Kanan, Zeb, Chopper, and I took the Phantom and flew off. We soon arrived at a planet with a large bustling city. Kanan landed the Phantom and we began to walk around the city.
"Okay, Chop. Bring up the coordinates Ahsoka gave us." Kanan said.
Chopper warbled before a holographic image of houses appeared.
"Housing units? What would the Inquisitors want there?" Ezra asked.
"They're definitely not renting, that's for sure." I said.
"Zeb, you, Zel, and Chopper go check out the ship docks to see if the Inquisitors' ships are here." Kanan said.
"If we see anything, you'll be the first to know." Zeb said.
With a final nod to each other, we all went our separate ways. Zeb, Chopper, and I soon made it to the ship docks, and Chopper opened it up. Sure enough, the Inquisitors' TIE Fighters were there.
Not a surprise...
When we were about to walk in, we saw a probe drone.
Annoying little things, to say the least...
"I got it." I said.
I reached out my hand and the drone became still. I balled my hand into a fist and crumbled up the drone as if it were paper. I released it and watch the drone fall to the ground. I gave Zeb and Chopper a nod before we advanced towards the TIE Fighters. We looked inside the closest one to us, and we saw a baby wrapped up in a white and purple blanket. My heart melted. Then, Chopper warbled and buzzed.
"No, we are not blowing up the ships." Zeb said.
Chopper buzzed a "why?"
"If we do, we'll blow up the baby." I said.
"What is wrong with you?" Zeb asked.
Chopper buzzed and beeped. I rolled my eyes before walking up to the ship. Using the Force, I opened the ship's hatch. We went inside and I checked the baby if it had any injuries.
"She's okay." I said.
Then, I felt something strange, coming from the baby.
No... it couldn't be...
"This a new low, especially for the Inquisitors. Taking an innocent child." I said.
"I agree." Zeb said.
I held the baby in my arms, staring into its little brown eyes. I then began to hum a tune my mother use to sing to me when I was younger, trying to keep the baby calm. I gave the baby to Chopper before walking up to Zeb's side.
"You're telling me there's another baby out there?" Zeb asked.
"Yeah. It's with a droid in a basket. Tell it the mother Oora sent you." Kanan said through the comm.
"Understood Kanan. We're on our way." I said.
Zeb cut the connection and we both looked at Chopper who was trying to keep the baby entertained.
"Congratulations, this one's all yours." Zeb said.
Chopper groaned in annoyance. Soon, Zeb and I were roaming the streets looking for a droid carrying a basket. Soon, the droid we were looking for caught my eye.
"Over here, Zeb." I said.
We crossed the street and intercepted the droid. The beeped and buzzed.
"Hey, it's okay. We're here to help." I said.
"Yeah, Oora sent us." Zeb said.
The droid beeped the name.
"That's right. Oora. She sent us for her child." Zeb said.
The droid nodded and handed off the basket. We looked inside and saw the infant huddled inside.
It was so cute...
"Your department." Zeb said.
I glared at Zeb, giving him a smug look. I picked up the infant and held it in my arms. It reached its hands up and began to play with my dangling hood. I couldn't help but smile.
"Come on, let's get out of the open." Zeb said.
"Right. We'll take good care of him." I told the droid.
The droid nodded before rolling away.
"Kanan, we found the baby." Zeb said in the comm.
"Really? Already?" Kanan asked.
You could hear the amusement in his voice.
"You could wipe that smug smile off your face, Kanan." I said.
Kanan couldn't help but laugh.
"We're taking it back to the ship now." I said as I began to walk.
Then, we heard a blaster and a lightsaber. We turned around and saw the droid with the basket cut in half.
"That's not good." Zeb said.
Then, we saw the two Inquisitors come from around the corner. Then, the baby started to make noise, and the two Inquisitors looked our way.
"That's really not good." I said.
We then began to run away from them, already knowing that they were chasing after us.
"Spectre-1, we got trouble! Where are you?" I asked in the comm.
When we turned the next corner, we saw a door open and saw Kanan and Ezra in the doorway. We ran inside and quickly closed the door.
"What do we do?" Ezra asked.
"Split up. If we scatter around the building, the Inquisitors won't know who has the baby." Kanan said.
We nodded and scattered around the building, already knowing the Inquisitors made their way inside. As Zeb and I ran, we saw one of the Inquisitors. We quickly ducked inside a room before he could see us. Zeb poked out his head to see Kanan and Ezra run down the hall.
"Hey!" Zeb called out quietly.
The boys heard him, and they ran over. When they were inside, I quickly closed the door and locked it.
"Where's the other baby?" Ezra asked.
"With Chopper on the Phantom." I said.
"Good. One less problem to deal with." Kanan said.
I nodded in agreement. Then, we all heard the baby shriek.
"If that baby doesn't get quiet, we're dead." Zeb said.
Ezra walked up to the baby and picked it up. It then began to shriek louder.
"What did you do!?" Zeb asked.
"I was just being nice." Ezra said.
"Here, hand him over." I said.
Ezra handed me the baby and I cradled him in my arms. I then began to sing.
"Lavender's blue, dilly, dilly, lavender's green. When I am king, dilly, dilly, you shall be queen. Lavender's green, dilly, dilly, lavender's blue. If you love me, dilly, dilly, I will love you..."

(One of my favorite songs from this movie)
Almost instantly, the baby fell asleep.
"How'd you do that?" Ezra said.
"Something I taught myself a while back. It's called hypnosis, but I call it Force singing." I said.
"How convenient." Kanan said.
"How come you didn't know about that, Kanan?" Zeb asked with a wide grin on his face.
Kanan looked at the Lasat with a smug look on his face.
"You really think I can sing? No way." Kanan said.
Ezra couldn't help but laugh. Then, I felt something, underneath us.
"Zeb, move!" I said.
As if on my command, a red lightsaber came up from the floor. When Kanan went over to the door, another red lightsaber came from the side, almost going through Kanan's skull.
"We're trapped!" Ezra said.
"Well, if you can't go down." I said looking up.
Ezra and Kanan pulled out their lightsabers and ignited them. Then, they started cutting a hole from the top. When the cut part came down, I Force jumped up, being careful not to wake the baby. I helped the other up when the door to the room below began to open. Zeb dropped a bomb down the hole before following the others and I down the hall. He looked back to hear the bomb go off, only to see it get thrown back up the whole.
"Run!" Zeb cried.
That's when the bomb went off. The baby woke up and began to cry.
"Karabast!" Zeb said.
"What do we do now?" I said.
We made it to a stairwell and stopped to formulate a plan.
"Ezra, you and Zel take the baby and meet us on the next floor. Keep your comms on. We'll meet you up there." Kanan said.
We nodded and Ezra and I ran up the stairs.

"Are you sure they came this way?" one the Inquisitors asked.
"You dare question me, Seventh Sister?" the other snarled.
"Only when you're wrong, Fifth Brother..."
They walked into the room we were in once before, only to see a small recorder, playing back the crying and shrieking of the baby. The Fifth Brother picked it up and crushed it in his fist.
"Clever... Very clever..." the Seventh Sister said.

When Ezra and I made it to the next floor, we saw Kanan and Zeb waiting for us.
"We're out of floors!" Zeb said.
"What do we do?" I asked.
"They hunt Jedi right, instead of Ithorians. Let them on me and Zel," Kanan said.
"Don't you mean all three of us?" Ezra questioned.
"You have to keep the little one safe and quiet."
Kanan looked up and saw a ventilation system.
"And I think I know how... Ezra, take the baby and meet us outside." Kanan said.
"What? Why me?" Ezra asked.
"None of us can fit in the vents. Plus, if the Inquisitors are after Jedi, we'll give them Jedi to come after. Also, you know how to calm it down." I said.
The baby began to cry even louder.
"I can't do that." Ezra said.
"Yes, you can. It senses your fear, Ezra. These children are just like you. The Inquisitors are afraid the children could grow up and become Jedi." Kanan said.
Ezra nodded in understanding. I handed Ezra the baby and helped him into the vents.
"May the Force be with you, kid." Kanan said.
"You too." Ezra said.
He then disappeared into the vents.
The Inquisitors walked along an empty hall, looking for any signs of the baby, or us. Then, the Fifth Brother stopped and became lost in thought. Then, he brought out his lightsaber and ran it through the ceiling, almost getting Ezra. Every time the Inquisitor did this, the baby grew louder and more frantic. Ezra then placed a hand on the baby's head and closed his eyes.
"Calm down..." Ezra said.
The lightsaber spikes soon came to a halt.
"Hey!" Kanan cried down the hall.
The Inquisitors turned around to see Kanan and I activate our lightsabers. Without a second thought, the Inquisitors ran up to us with their lightsabers in hand. We then began to duel. When they started to overpower us, Zeb lifted Kanan and me up and began to run. Kanan held out his hand and broke the window at the end of the hall.
"I hope you know what you're doing!" Zeb said.
He released us and we all jumped out of the window. When we thought we hit the ground, we landed in a speeder, with the Ithorian mother, Oora, in control.
"A speeder! How'd you know?" Zeb asked with a grin.
"I didn't." Kanan said.
We looked behind us and, of course, the Inquisitors were following us. I pulled out my blaster and began firing at the Inquisitors, only for the Fifth Brother to deflect them back at us. The Seventh Sister then threw her lightsaber and it took out the engine, and we were going down. When we crash-landed, the boys and I had to make it to the ship dock on foot. Then, we heard Ezra's voice through Kanan's comm.
"The door is locked, Kanan! The door is locked!" Ezra said.
"I'm a little preoccupied right now!" Kanan cried towards his Padawan.
When Zeb ran up to the Fifth Brother, he pushed him away with the Force.
"Guess it's up to us..." I said.
Without warning, we began to fight. Neither of us showed any signs of giving up. Then, the Fifth Brother held out his hand and lifted Kanan in the air. As if on cue, the Seventh Sister kicked him.
"You'll pay for that..." I growled.
"What are you without your wolves, Wolf Jedi?" the Seventh Sister asked.
"I may not have my wolves, but I am still a Jedi!"
I ran up to her and we dueled. The Fifth Brother came into play and began to spin his lightsaber.
Great...
When I used the Force to push him away, I forgot about the Seventh Sister and she kicked me, just like she did Kanan.
Karabast...
Ezra then stepped up and ignited his lightsaber, still holding the Ithorian baby.
"I do not have time for you, child." the Seventh Sister said.
She held out her hand and pushed Ezra away with the Force. Then, the door behind him began to open, and a figure walked through.
Ahsoka...
Ahsoka took out her lightsabers and ignited them. Blinding white blades soon appeared.
"Expected, but not unwelcomed." the Seventh Sister said.
"Ezra, get the youngling to the ship." Ahsoka said.
Ezra nodded and Ahsoka winked. She ran up to the Inquisitors and Force jumped towards them. Ezra quickly ran up to us and began to help us up.
"Come on, we got to go!" Ezra said.
"What about Ahsoka?" Kanan asked.
"She's fine. If anything, she'll come to us."
We ran away from the fight and went to the Phantom. I looked over my shoulder to see Ahsoka completely owning the Inquisitors.
She's amazing...
We got in the Phantom and began to fly away, leaving the door open. When I saw Ahsoka jumped up from a building to reach the Phantom, I held out my hand and caught her. I pulled her up and quickly closed the Phantom's door.
"Glad we got out of there." I said.
The others nodded in agreement. Ezra handed the baby to Oora and she was overjoyed that her baby was safe.
"They're Force-sensitive, I've seen it before." Ahsoka said.
"I thought so. I knew I wasn't going crazy when I felt the Force radiating off them." I said.
"You've gone crazy?" Kanan asked with a grin.
I gave the Jedi a smug smile and flicked the back of his head.
"In the past, there used to be a Jedi Order to take care of them." Ahsoka said.
"But now that there isn't any..." I said.
We all turned around to see Chopper playing with the two infants. We soon found ourselves smiling.
"Guess that task falls to us now." Kanan said.
We continued to watch in amusement as Chopper spun the babies around.
I think he's having more fun than the babies.
Hey everyone! I am soooooooo sorry. A lot of personal family drama happened throughout the week. For those who don't know, my mother passed away last month, and we had a funeral for her. Continue to pray for us as my family and I go through this. The next part is going to be something funny and somewhat cringy to some, but I don't care. May the Force be with You!
