Hey everyone! 🤡Happy April Fools Day🤡 Just something random I came up with for this occasion. Anyway, enjoy!

"Please Zel?" Ezra begged.

"I'm not about to get murdered by the others," I said.

"If you help me, I'll help you with your pranks."

"Deal."

Today was April Fools Day, my third favorite time of the year. When I was younger, I played so many pranks on my parents. They always got me back, unfortunately. But it was one of our ways our family stayed so strong...

"So, what are you planning, kid?" I asked.

"Well, Zeb hates spiders, but I don't know about the others. I was thinking about filling their rooms with fake spiders." Ezra said.

"I like the idea, but instead of fake spiders, we use real ones. We are on Atollon, after all."

Ezra's eyes gleamed with mischief and excitement.

"I like the way you think, but how are we going to get the spiders?" Ezra asked.

"Leave that to me. I encounter a lot of them whenever I have time to myself." I said.

Ezra and I walked away from the base and headed to the outskirts of the base. I held out my hand and closed my eyes.

"Z..." Ezra began.

I opened my eyes and saw that we were surrounded by five Crawlers.

"Be calm, Ezra." I said.

Ezra was about to reach for his lightsaber, but I quickly stopped him.

"You activate your weapon and they WILL attack." I told him.

I let go of his wrist and faced the spiders. I held out my hand to them and they all let out a shriek-like cry.

"They'll help us." I said.

"Great. Come on, I know exactly where to put them on the Ghost." Ezra said.

This is going to be interesting...

We began walking back to the base with the Crawlers in tow. Following Ezra's plan, we put one Crawler in each room and the fifth one near the ramp.

"The others won't see the one by the ramp on their way in, but they will see it on their way out." I said.

"Perfect. Now, we wait..." Ezra said.

Heading into our rooms, we waited for the fiasco to start. Hearing talking outside my door, I heard the door next to me open.

Sorry, Sabine...

All I heard was a scream. Knowing Sabine would rush to my room, I locked the door so she and the others can't get in. Three more rounds of screams could be heard outside.

"How did they get in!?" Sabine asked in a panic.

Knowing that they're going to the ramp, I exited my room and saw Ezra waiting outside. Leaning on the rail, we watched the others try and take out the Crawler by the ramp.

On one hand, I feel bad for them, and on the other hand, I don't...

Ezra and I then burst out laughing. Our laughter soon caught the attention of the others.

"April Fools!" we laughed.

Holding out my hand, I was able to calm down the Crawler with the Force.

"You planned this?" Zeb asked.

"Well, it was originally Ezra's plan." I said.

"Zel just made it better." Ezra said.

Sliding down the ladder, I called the other Crawlers and all five of them were soon standing in front of us.

"Thank you for doing this." I said.

Opening the ramp, the Crawlers left in peace. Turning back to the others, I couldn't help but laugh.

"Sorry guys. If you're going to be mad at someone, be mad at Ezra. It was his idea." I said.

"We're not mad, just very surprised." Sabine said.

"Well, it is April Fools Day. What'd you expect?" Ezra said.

Kanan sighed and Hera shook her head in amusement.

"I have to admit, that was a good prank, but don't think we don't have a couple of pranks up our sleeves." Hera said.

"I'll be ready for them." Ezra said boldly.

They have no idea what's coming...

Throughout the rest of the day, everyone was pranking each other. Hera got Ezra back by pretending she cut off her lekku.

It surprised me a little as well...

Sabine pranked Kanan by painting his room pink and purple. Zeb pranked Sabine by dumping some of her paint on her.

Sabine honestly didn't mind at all. She said that she loved the colors Zeb used.

Ezra pranked Zeb by making him believe he lost his bo-rifle.

Zeb got so mad; it was hilarious.

Ezra got Hera back for pranking him by saying that he crashed the Phantom when he went out earlier.

He was only able to move the Phantom thanks to Chopper's help... Hera lost her mind.

Kanan and Chopper soon pranked me.

I'm so going to get them back, especially Chopper.

Kanan made me believe that he went insane and killed Chopper and was going to kill me next.

For this kind of thing, I'm not quick to retaliate. I like to make my victims on edge; make the suspense slowly tear them apart. It's fun to watch. I did it with my parents at one time. Hilarious.

"Now, how should I get the whole crew...?" I asked myself.

When I heard a knock at the door, I opened it and saw Ezra.

"Hey, kid. Need something?" I asked.

"Not really. What are you doing?" Ezra asked.

"Trying to come up with a good prank to pull on the others."

I saw Ezra shuffle backward.

"Don't worry. You're not included." I said.

Ezra sighed with relief.

"Speaking of which, didn't you say that if I help you prank the others, you said you'll help me?" I asked.

Ezra then groaned.

"A deal's a deal, Ezra," I said.

"Fine. What did you have it mind?" Ezra asked.

"Well..."

Ezra sat next to me and I explained my plan to him. Seeing the growing grin on Ezra's face, I could tell that he really like the plan.

Little did Ezra know; he was a victim in my prank as well...

When I walked into the common room, I saw everyone flinch.

"Relax, I'm done with pranking. That one prank with Ezra was it," I said.

"How do we know you're not lying." Zeb said.

"Trust me, she's not. I just talked with her. She doesn't like seeing her friends in danger, even if it's just a joke." Ezra said.

"Okay, that's a relief." Kanan said.

"Why? Are you afraid that I'll get you back?"

Chopper let out a sound as if he was laughing.

"Don't think I forgot about you; you metal menace." I said.

That shut Chopper up.

"You know, we've been on Atollon for quite a while. Why not head back to Lothal for a little while? It's been a long time since I've seen Atlas and the other wolves." I said.

"That sounds like a good idea." Hera said.

The others nodded and made their way to the cockpit.

"All going according to plan." Ezra whispered.

"Yup." I said.

All going according to MY plan...

After a while, the Ghost made a jump for hyperspace.

"When we get there, I'll bring the wolves to help. You just keep the others distracted." I whispered to Ezra.

"Got it." Ezra said.

He has no idea...

When Lothal came into view, Hera entered the planet's atmosphere and landed the Ghost. I smiled and quickly ran to the ramp.

"I'll be back this evening." I said.

I ran out onto the plains with a wide grin on my face. When I saw the den, I walked inside and saw Atlas in the center of the walkway.

"Hey, Atlas." I said.

Atlas walked up to me and gently bumped his nose with mine. I chuckled and stroked the magnificent creature.

"Atlas, could you help me with something?" I asked.

When Atlas nodded, I explained my prank to him and the other wolves. I caught a hint of Atlas's sly smile.

The Rebels have no idea what's coming...

~~~~~~Third Person POV~~~~~~

Ezra sat on the ramp, waiting for Zelara to return.

"Wonder what's taking her so long..." Ezra wondered.

Soon after, Kanan walked out and sat next to him.

"Waiting for Z?" Kanan asked.

"Yeah, I'm just afraid something happened to her." Ezra said.

"Ezra, this is Zelara we're talking about here. She can take care of herself."

Ezra still looked uncertain. Kanan smiled softly and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"She's okay. She has the Lothwolves by her side, remember?" Kanan asked.

Ezra looked at Kanan and nodded with a smile. Then, the two Jedi heard a loud scream. They got up and looked around.

"What was that?" Ezra asked.

"I don't know..." Kanan said.

Soon after, Hera, Sabine, Zeb, and Chopper came down the ramp.

"Did you guys hear that scream?" Hera asked.

"Yeah." Kanan said.

"What if it was Zelara?" Ezra asked.

"No, it couldn't be." Sabine said with a shaky voice.

Then, they all heard growling, and it was coming from all around them. The Rebels then huddled together. One by one, pairs of piercing yellow eyes appeared.

"The Loth-wolves..." Ezra said.

Ezra knew what was going on, but in the back of his mind, this wasn't the plan that Zelara told him. Then, a pair of ice-blue eyes appeared.

"Atlas..." Ezra said.

Then, two red blades appeared, and the blades' light revealed the Seventh Sister. Wasting no time, Kanan and Ezra ignited their lightsabers.

"Already putting up a fight, I see," the Seventh Sister said.

"What did you do to Zelara?" Kanan asked.

"My, what an accusation. I didn't do anything to her... but he did."

Atlas stepped forward and dropped a lifeless body from his mouth.

"No..." Ezra whimpered.

At this time, Ezra had no idea what was going on.

"With help from the Force, I was able to persuade these beasts to see the error of their ways. Now, instead of fighting against the Empire, they fight WITH the Empire." said the Seventh Sister.

The Loth-wolves moved in closer, growling, and barking at the Rebels.

"You know you are no match for these creatures. They are living tanks. Nothing can stop them." said the Seventh Sister.

Ezra stared at Zelara's lifeless body and shook his head violently.

"This is all my fault!" Ezra cried.

"Ezra, what are you talking about?" Hera asked.

"This was supposed to be a prank, but I didn't know this would happen! I'm so sorry!"

"Ezra, that doesn't matter right now. Right now, we need to take care of this Lothrat." Kanan said.

The Seventh Sister then snapped her fingers. Five more wolves came from the darkness and stood at Atlas's side.

"Pin them..." she said.

The wolves growled and barked, and soon lunged themselves at the Rebels. Being the quick creatures, they are, they easily pinned them down with one paw. One of the wolves had Chopper in its jaw. The Seventh Sister then walked up to Ezra.

"Leave him alone!" Kanan cried.

Kanan's outburst caused the Loth-wolf on top of him to growl.

"Any last words, Padawan?" she asked.

Ezra shook his head violently and tried to push Atlas's paw off of him. The more he struggled, the more weight Atlas put on him.

"Well, I have two for you..." the Seventh Sister said.

She removed the visor from her face and Ezra's jaw dropped.

~~~~~~~Zelara's POV~~~~~~~

"April Fools!" I cried.

"WHAT!?" the Rebels cried.

I whistled and the Lothwolves released them.

"If you're here, then who..." Zeb began, looking at the lifeless body.

"Force illusion. A technique I taught myself when I was still a Padawan." I said.

I waved a hand over the body and it disappeared.

"I thought you said that I wasn't going to be a victim in your prank." Ezra said.

"Oh, Ezra... Sweet, innocent, naïve Ezra. You should know me better than that by now." I said.

Atlas let a sound as if he was laughing.

"Thanks for your help everyone." I said, facing the wolves.

They all bowed their heads. Atlas bumped his nose on my shoulder, and I stroked his muzzle.

"Thank you most of all, Atlas." I said.

Atlas smiled inwardly and nodded. With a final goodbye howl, all the wolves disappeared into the night.

"So, how did you like my prank?" I asked.

"That was mean, you know that?" Sabine said.

"We thought you were dead." Kanan said.

"I did say I was going to get you back, didn't I?"

Chopper rolled up to me and started beating my leg with his metal hand, warbling and buzzing.

"You had it coming from the start, Chopper. You have no reason to say that you didn't deserve this," I said.

"That was a mean prank, but it was a good one." Hera said.

"It was fun watching your paranoia eat you up. Every time I walked into a room, you all flinch."

"Next year, we're so getting you back, Zela." Ezra said.

I couldn't help but scoff.

"I'd like to see you try." I said.

With smiles on our faces, we walked back on the Ghost, reminiscing about this prank-filled day.

I already have so many pranks planned for next year. Can't wait to prank them again...
