The next day, Rose's POV

I opened my eyes and saw Day was still sleeping, her head was laying on a pillow, there was a smell in the air like something was cooking, I looked over Day's body and saw Slayer was in the kitchen cooking, I smiled and slowly got up not wanting to wake Day up. I walked over to the kitchen and sat at the mini-bar

Slayer said," good morning Rose, how did you sleep?"

I said," good, how about you?"

Slayer said," the first time in a while I didn't have a nightmare"

I asked," you have nightmares?"

Slayer said," a few, I had one the night before Day found you"

I asked," does Day have nightmare?"

Slayer said," a few* Day wrapped her arms around his body* morning, my love"

Day said," morning my dragon"

Slayer said," *smiles* Do you want to taste to make sure I made this right?*Day purrs, Slayer gave her a small piece of the pancake* "

Day said," it's amazing my king"

Slayer smiled and placed some on a plate near me. Day went to the fridge and grabbed a few clear boxes, Day placed the boxes near me, I looked in the boxes. Strawberries, blueberries, and one weird-looking berry.

Slayer said," the lava berry, Day is the only one who knows where they grow at"

Day placed some lava berries on her plate, she places blueberries on Slayer's plate. I put some strawberries on my plate. Slayer grabbed a few glasses and looked at me.

I asked," I will let you pick"

After they ate, me and Day was shopping for clothes, I saw a pretty dress, it looked like roses petals

Day asked," do you want to try it on?"

I nodded yes, the worker grabbed the outfit and led me to the changing room. I changed into the outfit.

Day asked," do you like it?"

I said," I love it"

Day asked," how much is it?

The worker said," 40.00 gold, it's a brand new"

Day said," wait a minute I know that voice Lilly"

Lilly said," it's me, and *she looks at me* anything you get while you are with Day is 20% off"

After shopping, Day was looking at the books. Slayer walked over, his face did not look happy.

I asked," are you okay?"

Slayer said," no... I just heard from my friends, I need to go home for a little bit, can you and Day be able to handle the house while I'm gone?"

I said," we can, Day?"

Day turned around and hugged Slayer, tears running down her face. Slayer hugged her back. I could tell Day was going to miss him. Slayer gently rubbed her back

Slayer said," my love, I will back I promise"

Day said," please be safe, I can't lose you, my love"

Slayer said," you won't my love"

At the house, me and Day were cleaning the fruits and vegetables we got from the gardens, I could tell Day was scared.

I said," Day are you okay?"

Day said," yes, I'm just worried that I won't be able to sleep tonight"

I asked," do you want me to rest with you?"

Day said," please"

Two days later, Slayer's POV

I walked into the house, Rose was laying next to Day. I smiled and gently kissed Day's head. I heard Day purr. Rose opened her eyes.

Rose said," Slayer, you are back. Welcome home"

I said," thank you, Rose, how are you and Day?"

Rose said," Day missed you very much, we did some clearing"

I smiled and placed a box near Rose's hand. Day opened her eyes. I smiled and pet her. Day purred more

I said," Hi my love"

Day said," my dragon, is everything okay?"

I said," everything was taken care of, I promise nothing will harm my girls while I'm still alive"

Day gently pulled me down and hugged me. I hugged her back, I placed a teddy bear near Day

Day said," Babe, I love it*she nuzzles me*"

I said," *smiles* I got Rose something too, she is our new member of the house"

Rose said," thank you for taking me in"

I said," *looks at Rose* you're welcome, I can see the good in your heart"

Day shifted to her human form and hugged me, I hugged her back. I felt my shirt get a little wet, I gently rubbed her back

Day said," I missed you so much"

I said," I missed you too my love"

Rose said," Day isn't the light festival tonight?"

Day said," yes, I didn't know if Slayer or you wanted to go"

Day's POV

Slayer said," you and Rose can go, I need to get some rest"

After me and Rose got ready, I was fixing my dress

Rose said," wow, Day you look like a Goddess in that dress"

I said," thank you, Slayer gave me this dress on our four-month anniversary"

Rose said," wow, I just wish Slayer come with us"

I said," me too"

We went to the festival, the village was happy and dancing. I walked over to the tables Rose stay near me. I could tell she is scared

I said," let's just watch the dancing and not dance ourselves"

Rose said," I agree..."

We watched everyone started to dance. I smiled. Rose smiled back, we didn't dance or drink anything, this village is the only one that doesn't ask for your full name or kind. A young girl ran over to the lord and told him something. I closed my eyes

The young girl said," my lord there is a fire on the north side of the mountain, we cant get close to it to see if anyone is okay"

The Lord said," we will send the fire people up to stop it"

I opened my eyes and went to the woods, Rose followed me. I shifted to my Phoenix form, Rose shifted into her dragon form, we went to the mountainside, please be okay

Rose said," Day what's going on?"

I said," there is a house on the mountainside and I won't let the fire hurt the people "

We landed near the mountainside and saw the burning house, I controlled the fire, Rose's eyes widen at how I controlled the fire.

I said," Rose, go in and see if anyone is alive"

Rose flys into the house and started to look for anyone alive. Rose came back with two people and placed them on the grass

Rose said," I only found these two"

I stopped the spell and landed on one knee, Rose ran over to me.
