Chapter 3

My body was limp. Before I fainted, I heard some wolves run over. Jake still slashed me. I still barked and whined in pain. Why did I attack him in the first place. I didn't remember.

My eyes weren't opening. I felt blood around me. I had transformed back into my normal form. I was beat all over. My eyes finally opened slowly. My eyes were fogged up. I felt my dads jaws in my neck, carrying me into another den. The healing den.

The Healing Den had a wolf who had herbs and other medicines and remedies to heal wounds. They called her the Healing Wolf, even though her name was Juniper. I felt me being dropped, onto moss and leaves. A lining of wool around me. I heard a sobbing and I heard a huge bark and a howl fighting against something. It got closer to me running the other wolves holding it back and putting it in the Packs Jail. A place with only 4 cells, underground. The bars are strong. And u get fed the leftovers. I felt my body being touched all over. I sobbing still around me. I felt a droplet of water on my flank. It was a tear. My body hurt everywhere.

I felt water being poured on me and my wounds. I tasted blood on my teeth, it wasn't mine. I felt a piece of wool of my wounds, drying them. I felt my wounds getting a poultice in them. It felt like a juicy liquid. Leaves finally covered the wounds and a hard cobweb was twisted around the leaf. I heard voices, but to quiet to hear. I still couldn't open. My eyes. My body in pain when I tried to move it. I felt a wolf curl around me. It didn't feel like Jake.

It was my father. He softened my ruffled fur. I felt his paw run across my body touching me. I felt it rise and walk away. I had to rest. My eyes hurt and my body did too.

I soon awoke. I opened my eyes. I saw the sun out, it hurt my eyes, the pack out walking out hunting. I stood up, fighting against the pain. I limped out of the den. I limped and fell to the ground. A gasp beside me. I whimpered and tried again.lNext thing you know, I've been carried back to the Healing Den. Juniper undid my cobwebs and put sticks on each side of my wounded legs. She re-wrapped the cobwebs. I tried to stand up. It still hurt, but I could walk. I smiled at her and walked out, still limping a little.

I walked to the pile of prey. It wasn't time to eat but I was starving. My eyes were hurting a little. There light green color turned into a jade color, my human eyes. I ate and ate. I lay down. I yawned. And I slept.

I woke up in the middle of the clearing. I got embarrassed for sleeping outside . I grabbed my scraps and walked to the Pack Jail. I heared growls and barks. Only one wolf was here. I looked in every cage before seeing the wolf. It was Jake. His eyes glowed. He stared at me. His teeth in a snarl. I snarled to. "I'm sorry for attacking you ok?" I said. "Why did you attack me?!" He yelled. "I attacked you because you Buried me in the freezing snow." I said back starting to cry. He looked at me. "I'm sorry, Tarah, it was supposed to be a joke." He answered. "No it was me." I said. I used a claw and unlocked the cage door. I stepped in and I lay down. I went beside me and licked my pelt. I cried. A little. I showed him the rest of the food and we ate, together.

"I'll get you out of here Jake, I promise."
