The Lost Ancient Wizardess Returns

I opened my eyes and saw that Tharja's eyes were filled with horror and fear. I looked up and saw that my hand had stopped her from scratching my heart out. I looked back at her and grinned. I lifted my legs and kicked her off of me. She stumbled back and glared at me. Tharja turned to her sisters who were beginning to stand up. Then, my eyes glinted a bright blue. I healed my wounds with water magic and snapped. Then, all of the Ancient Relics appeared.

"The relics... Grab them, now!" Tharja cried.

They lunged at me, but I quickly dodged them by floating in the air. Then, I became a beacon, and everyone turned to me. I then recited an unfamiliar spell.

"The Ancient Relics are stronger than an ark, I call upon the powers of water, fire, earth, wind, light, and dark! Relic Ray!" I cried.

The Ancient Relics glowed in different colors. Then, they each released a beam of their magic, and they were headed straight for the Black Lake Sisters.

"NO!" Tharja cried.

She then released a beam of energy. Her sisters did the same.

"You forgot one thing, Tharja. Light magic will always beat dark magic!" I said.

I put more power into the spell, forcing the other's beam back at them.

"NO...!" they cried.

The beam consumed them and they disappeared. I landed and snapped away the relics. I looked over at the Noxhounds and raised my hand towards them.

"Lumen Borealis!" I cried.

A powerful flashed was released and consumed the Noxhounds. They howled and then they're lifeless bodies collapsed. My siblings looked at me and sprinted. They ran up to me and hugged me.

"You did it, Courtney! You beat the Black Lake Sisters and saved Elvarna!" Stella cried.

"We're so proud of you..." Yukiya said.

"Thanks everyone." I said.

"And now you're able to cast the Ancient Relic spells without having to summon them." Clara said.

I smiled at them and turned to Spencer. I walked up to him and hugged him tightly. He hugged me back tighter. When we parted, I placed my forehead on his.

"Thank you, Spencer... for everything." I said.

"Any time..." he said.

I retracted and turned to the others. Then, Rokai walked up to me.

"My dearest Courtney..." he began.

"Yes?" I asked.

"I'm still awaiting my answer... What does magic mean to you?"
