Petriichara was founded over a thousand years ago by four adventurers that had led a colonization party for many years. The adventurers decided on the valley for its fertile land and many small bodies of water. They choose a spot in one of the deepest parts of the valley and began their town.

   The founders were Arthur Lovegood, Haines Estrada, Christensen Romero, and Mercia Balliol. They were all good friends, and relied on each other for help in almost every situation. Although Romero was the most experienced, Lovegood was the captain of the expedition and eventually the main leader of the town.

   The town prospered and grew, eventually saying goodbye to the original Lovegood, Estrada, Romero, and Balliol. They welcomed their children as the next leaders, and their children after them. And, as time continued, the lines were known as the leaders automatically.

   Years passed without any major issues for the settlement, and all seemed well until a series of murders began in the small town of Petriichara.

   Many big names were killed, including the major farmer, the major healer, and the minor priestess, one of the Balliol descendants. A large scale investigation was launched, and many people began to believe it was witches, due to the odd ways most of the victims were killed.

   As the investigations and murders went farther and farther, the murderer made a crucial mistake. Whoever it was had left a trace of a very identifiable substance. In fact, after it had been left, everything unraveled and the murderer- or rather, murderers, that were responsible.

   Arthuria Lovegood, one of the few Lovegood descendants was found guilty alongside her two brothers (Jameston and Rosen) and a young girl named Nadia Tully.

   It was proven that they were using magical methods to kill, and they became the first witches of Petriichara.

   Arthuria became an outlawed name, as well as Jameston, Rosen, and Nadia. The Lovegood family line had been corrupted by their usage of magic and by their murders. The Tully girl was in fact, an orphan, so her line was never fully spoken of.

   The witches were executed at sundown on the twenty-second day of Forlerith. This created a power vacuum in the other three founding families because the Lovegood line, which had been destroyed as the witches were executed, had always been the leader. The heirs of the Estrada, Romero, and Balliol families fought for power, and eventually they agreed to share it between all three.

   The town, although shaken and quite different after the witch attacks, continued on, still prospering. It fought a few battles with other settlers who tried to take their land, but things were basically peaceful again.

   Although, 150 years after the first witch attack... there was a second.

   What happened was roughly the same thing as the first. Mysterious murders and disappearances occurred, prominent figures in the community were affected. Everyone was paranoid, until the witches again made a crucial mistake. They let one person get away.

   The person, a certain Peyten Falconer, revealed that it was again a group of people, not just one. This time, the witches were Rowan Brems, Serrium Lyndon, Lolla Corr, and Briannee Charlwood.

   They were executed on the thirty-eighth day of Norastir after evidence had been provided against them.

   The witch attacks occurred 150 years after the last attack, solidifying it in Petriichara's history as the most harrowing time to live in the town. 150 years after the last witch attack, Petriichara is gearing up for the next series of murders, disappearances, and attacks... who will it be this time?
