(POV: 3RD PERSON)

After leaving the Masayoshi, Oscar and Zephyr arrived at an impressively large mansion.

He dismounts Zephyr and approached the mailbox. He then takes out the address of his temporary house and checks both it & the address on the previously mentioned mailbox. "Yep, this is definitely the place." He says as he and Zephyr enter the property.

Before Oscar enters the mansion, he ties Zephyr to a nearby fence post. "Sorry boy, but I'll make sure to untie you later." He says as Zephyr gives him a small neigh.

Oscar then approached the door of the mansion as he knocks on the door. "Hello? Anyone home?" He asked. However, no one answered. Sensing something amiss, Oscar grabs the doorknob and pushed the door open.

(SCENE CHANGE: INSIDE THE MANSION)

All he could see is darkness and blackness. The room was so quiet, that a pin drop can be heard. However, Oscar could hear something from one of the rooms.

Using his senses to maneuver around the dark house until he reached the room that he heard the noises from. Knocking on the door, however, the noise immediately went silent.

Thinking things were about to turn for the worst, Oscar took out his Steel Sword and coated it in Hangman's Venom, as preparations for a brawl. He then grab the doorknob and carefully enters the room.

Suddenly, the lights turned on and Oscar jumped in surprise. However, his surprise turned to confusion as he sheathed his sword when he saw what was in front of him.

(POV CHANGE: OSCAR)

"SURPRISE!!!!!" Exclaims the various male and female voices as I was surprised to find it was some sort of a surprise party that they must've set up for me.

I was then suddenly approached by the people of the mansion.

(Yep. In this fic, Anna's alive and well & she's the group's main archer.)

"So, you must be the Witcher Ms. Celestine and the others have met. I must say: you're quite something." The boy with brown says as he inspect me.

"Appreciate the compliment, I guess." I said as I got a bit uncomfortable at him invading my personal space. "Thanks for the surprise party, but I need to go and unhook my horse from the fence post outside. Can't leave him alone for too long, otherwise he'll start bucking." I said as I was about to leave when I stopped by the boy with hair similar to mine.

"Don't worry, me and my friends can handle your horse. I am a Beast Tamer after all." The boy says as he and his friends left the room. As soon as they left, the girls with dog ears/tails grabbed me by my arms and started to drag me a bit to the table full of food.

"Come on! This is your party! Have fun!" One of the girls said as I decided to have fun and let myself go a bit.

(TIMESKIP: AROUND 2 or 3 HOURS LATER)

Man, that was probably the best party anyone could ever throw for me. After all, the only time I had a party like this was on my very last birthday before I got taken to the School of the Wolf.

Since then, I never celebrated my own birthday anymore because of it. Hell, I even forgot what day I was born. It's been so long and I guess I started to stop caring after becoming a Witcher.

But maybe I could finally remember and start celebrating it like a normal person now. Though not sure I should be considered a normal person anymore because of my Witcherism, but I can damn well try to be a normal person.

Right now, the party has ended and everyone heads to bed. As for me, however, I'm being guided to my bedroom by Sin the Au Ra and Ci the Miqo'te. "Here we are: your room." Sin says as she opens the door and I stepped into said room & inspect it.

It's everything I expect in a room: comfortable bed, different chests for storage, a book shelf for books that I either find on my journeys or ones I decide to make to catalog monsters & such, a desk for other things such as alchemy and plenty of empty spaces, which I plan to use for trophies.

"So, what do you think?" Ci asks as I smiled. "It's perfect." I said as I turn to them. "Well, good night you two. Sure we got a big day tomorrow. Or a little one. Who knows." I said as Sin and Ci chuckles at this as they leave the room and close the door behind them.

I sat down on the bed and took out the information for the assassination mission I got from Mirellia and Elizabeth as I unfold it and start reading said information.

Targets: King Aultcray, King Proum, Advisor Beasley and all those who stands with them.

Plan of Attack: When their boat is on the edge of enemy territory, we'll sneak onto the ship through their anchors. We'll only attack when their guard is down, which will be when they're partying. Then, we'll strike when the main event is underway, since they'll be at their most vulnerable.

Attack time: 3 Months from now at 12AM

Enemy numbers: Many, bring only the best equipment you have.

Rewards: Lots of gold & trinkets form their treasury. A new era. And possibly something more~

Ho ho ho, looks like they want to get down and dirty. They must really hate their husbands if they want to fuck me. But I'm not 100% sure if I want to take them on their offer for sex.

But I have time to decide. After all, the assassination isn't until three months from now, so I got lots of time to decide and prepare. But for now, I need rest up for tomorrow could bring all new things.

I put the information into one of the chests as I strip down, since I usually prefer to sleep naked when I'm sleeping in a safe environment such as a house. I place my swords, knives and crossbow on the table as got into bed & let sleep takes me over.

(Here's chapter 5 done. I was considering giving Oscar his own house, but I decided to let him live with other people in order to help him move past his trauma and to help him open up to humans a bit more. And yes, I didn't include Nina and Lapiz into the group, but that's because I have a plan for them. Which may or may not be in the next chapter if you guys desire it.)
