(POV: OSCAR)

After taking care of the Griffin and hooking it up onto a large wagon, we were on our way to a place they call Masayoshi, one of the girls decide it was time to talk.

"Okay, stranger. We uphold our end of the deal, now it's your turn. Tell us everything and we mean everything, don't you dare leave anything out." One of the knight girls says as I sigh at this.

"Alright, I am a man of my word, so I'll start at the beginning." I said, although I didn't want to, I figured it was a matter of time until someone starts asking questions. I was just hoping it would be later then now.

"My story starts in the Continent, in a place called Velen. Our little town had been suffering from both the war and our self proclaimed warlord, the Bloody Baron. My family were simple farmers, but the war was destroying our lands and both the Baron & his men keep on taking much of the town's gold for alcohol. We couldn't even afford enough food for us, so we to resort to eating bark & drinking mud. Eventually, we tried to run away and go somewhere else, maybe Skellige or Toussaint. But on the way, we got ambushed by a pack of rabid wolves." I explain, earning looks of worry on everyone's faces.

"Thankfully, a Witcher saved us. My family was willingly to pay him half n' half. Half food and half coin, but the Witcher decline their offer. Before we could even react, the Witcher grabbed me from behind my mother and ran off. That was my last memory of my parents before I became a Witcher." I said with sadness as they all gasped in shock at this.

"Upon entering the School of the Wolf, I was subjected to various Trials, each one worse then the last. The Trials changed me from the inside out and turned me into a Witcher, this robbing me the freedom of normal life. However, one of the Trials somehow malfunctioned, letting me leave with my emotions and fertility intact." I explained, causing the girls to blush at this.

"Does this you can have children?" Olga asks as I nod in confirmation. "Yes, but I have not lost my, how can I put this?" I asked myself as Chloe decides to answer for me. "Virginity?" She suggests as I nod in agreement. "Well if you want to be blunt, then yes. I'm still a virgin, and probably will forever be one." I said, confusing the girls as I continued on.

"You see, because of my failed mutations, the humans starts seeing me as some sort of a demon in human flesh. They go from cursing my existence to pelting me with various fruits. After doing my job, I get either cheated out of a good deal of coin or they don't pay me at all even. Hell, I remember being thrown in jail for ridding a town of their Bandits." I explained as the girls scowled at this.

"I've heard and met all kinds of scoundrels, but these people are by far the worst I've possibly heard off." Celestine says as the girls nod in agreement. "And it unfortunately gets worse after that." I said as this confused the girls.

"You see, I had friends once. Could call them my Brothers even. We've met each other while on a contract to lift a curse off a king's daughter. They were some of the greatest pal a guy like me could ask for. After lifting the curse, we started taking on all sorts of contracts, from notice boards to even jobs from royals. Our skills were great and we racked plenty of coins and plenty of heads." I explained while smiling, remembering all the happy times I shared with my friends.

But then I stopped smiling as I know what'll come next. "But happy moments couldn't last forever. One day, we accepted a contract for a town to rid themselves of a monster that's been plaguing them for sometime. We took the bait like a bunch of damn fools. There was no monster. They tricked us into entering an ambush site, complete with both Bandits and Army Soldiers. It would've been no problem, had they not tricked us into wearing magic channeling Dimeritium shackles, disguised as bracelets." I explained as the girls gasped at this.

"We tried our goddamn best to fend them, but they had both the numbers and the plan." I explained as I took out my friends medallions and hold them over my opened hand. "First to drop was Cat, followed shortly by Griffin." I said as I dropped the previously mentioned medallions, to symbolize their deaths. "Bear fought hard and nearly took 50 of them to bring him down." I said, dropping the Bear medallion too. "Manticore and Viper were highly skilled and near impossible to defeat. But they fall as well, proving to me that even the seemingly impossible can become possible." I said, dropping the last medallions onto my hands.

The girls were shocked and horrified at this. "I tried to save them. But the townspeople held me down and made me watched my friends death." I said as tears started swelling up in my eyes. "My point of breaking came and it turned me into a beast of vengeance & rage. I freed myself of their grasps, draw steel and I wouldn't dare sheathe until mountains of corpses surrounded me. And my rage didn't stop there. I turned my sights to the village where those bastards lived & killed everyone there as well. I spared no one, not even children." I said as I adverted my eyes away from everyone else.

"Yes, I know I fucked up. Fucked up badly. But I was so overcome with rage and bloodlust, that I lost myself to it. When I came to, I buried my friends in a secluded area, far away from civilization. Then, I decided to hide away in Kaer Morhen for a few months. I wished I could've done something different back then: like saving my friends or not taking on that contract. But I can't. I tried to move on, but the scars are too deep and too heavy to fade away." I said as I started shedding tears.

I don't why, but I feel both pain and relief at the same time. Suddenly, I got enveloped in hugs from Celestine and the others. "We're terribly sorry you've suffered terribly your entire life. I know we can't reverse the pain and suffering you've endured, but I hope this can help you find peace." Celestine says.

I felt my heart warming a bit at this as my wiped my tears away. "Thanks girls. This means a lot to me." I said as I resumed my story. "After months of seclusion, I decide to show myself. I took on a few other contracts to earn some coin. The contracts ranged from Drowners to Forktails. Eventually I took on a contract from a family of farmers to free them of a monster that's killing their livestock. Monster revealed to be an Archgriffin. We had a slight scuffle before coming here. As for the rest, well, you already know the rest." I explained as I finished my story.

All that remains is silence as they're struggling to find words to even describe what to say. So, I decided to shift the conversation to them. "Now then, maybe you all could share a few details about this world. Like the beasts that roam the wilds? Or some of the people that live here?" I questioned.

"Well, we don't got much creatures like Drowners or Forktails around here. And listing off any interesting people in this world would take days." Olga says as she then looks out the window. "Besides, we've finally arrived." She says as I took a look out the window and my eyes widened at what was before me.

It was a massive city, beyond even that of Novigrad and Toussaint put together.

My jaw was hanging out as I heard the girls chuckling at my reaction. "Bet your world never had anything like this." Prim boasted as I simply nod in agreement.

(Here's chapter 2 done. This chapter was mainly filler for Oscar, so apologies if fillers aren't your taste. Next chapter will be a brawl between Oscar and some street punks.)
