New Child

"We need to stock up on supplies again," Geralt said as Lillian smiled.

"So we are getting an inn then?" She asked as Jaskier smiled.

"I very much would like to release some stress," Jaskier said as she hit his shoulder.

"Ow! Lillian, you know it's natural!" He said.

"You don't need to announce it to the world. The world is running out of decency; next time, think it," Lillian said as she started picking up some herbs.

"Why don't you sleep with Geralt or a man in general? You may remember a thing or two," Jaskier said as she gasped in shock at the thought.

"No!" Both of them said Lillian slapped him hard.

"Just saying he is right there," Jaskier informed.

"You know what is wrong with men? They don't have any common decency anymore. What happened to being romantic and choosing one woman for the rest of your life? Men have needs, whatever! If they learned to keep it in their pants and were taught to respect women instead of using them as toys, fewer children would be without fathers. I'm surprised you haven't got every woman on this continent pregnant. One of the reasons why I don't sleep around is most men are snakes and play innocent, " she said coldly.

"Wow, you're mightier than thou complex is showing, Lillian," Jaskier informed as she rolled her eyes as they walked.

"You messed up two children, and we aren't your children. They can't tell us what to do or give us orders. If you gave in once in a while, you would be as calm as Geralt. Maybe he sleeps around because he has to deal with your attitude when you turn. Also, why he hasn't told you to have a husband, feel sorry for the bastard that married you," he said as Lillian froze in place.

"Jaskier!" Geralt growled, then got off Roach.

He dragged Jaskier away and picked him up by the collar.

"You had to tell her that to her face?!" Be growled, "He could be dead in a ditch or an unmarked grave!"

"She said I was indecent, and if she got some of her stress released once in a while, she wouldn't be having these problems now, would she? Just saying if you took the initiative, she wouldn't have nearly killed you or your witch girlfriend!" He said.

"I have a husband?" She asked quietly, making Geralt sigh.

"I think you do; you told me you were getting married well, we were, and that is why we brought Jaskier along. You thought he was a child. You tried to kiss me, but I couldn't stop you," he explained.

"That's how you got the grass in your hair..." she said softly.

"Yes, Lillian, he may be dead. I thought you were an elf, and he was a human. You have been a slave for sixty years, maybe more. I don't know. Your memory is spotty at best; I told you I was taking you home, so I'm doing it. There has to be something there," he said as anger filled her body.

"Did I tell you what his name was?" She asked.

"Lillian, I'm sorry I said anything. He could still be alive, maybe. Probably old by now, though, may have moved on and forgotten about you," Jaskier said as Geralt punched him hard.

A tree split in half next to them, and Jaskier looked at her, terrified.

"Why? Why in the god's names do you have to keep reminding her and torturing her? Keep your dame mouth shut for now on!" Geralt yelled as Lillian turned around and saw her eyes were hiding, and her hair was turning white.

"Tell me his name now!" She yelled, making some of the trees fall behind them.

They both looked at her, shocked, especially Geralt, who let go of Jaskier, making him fall to the ground. He walked up to her slowly and saw the anger in her eyes, but all the marks were still there.

"You are not an elf; I have no idea what you are," Geralt said as her anger rose.

"What! Is! His! Name?!" She yelled.

"Anatol, his name was Anatol. Lillian, I'm sorry I didn't tell you, but he could be dead, and I didn't want you to give your hopes up. Everyone you cared for could be long gone," he said as she turned back to normal.

"You didn't lie to me when I found that doll, but you lied to me about the grass in your hair! Why?! Why did you lie about that, Geralt?! I trusted you not to lie to me, and if I do something out of the ordinary, let me know. Why did you lie to me?!" She asked.

"The doll was a child's, and you said you missed them. They could have gotten murdered, and you were unable to protect them. I was going to tell you until I saw that, whatever you are, you are not something I have seen before. Whatever you are, people may have found out and tried to enslave you. You may have bought your family time to escape, but they may be gone now. We have no idea how old you are or what you are, what your life span is, nothing," he said as she was trying to control her anger.

"Don't you lie to me again! If they are dead, then I need to find their bodies; if they are alive, then I want to see them. Even if my husband married a different woman; if my children call a different woman mother, I deserve to know what happened to them and me!" She growled, "I would never lie to you if you were in my shoes, even if I knew it would kill you. Even if we found out you were the worst person on the planet, people change. I hope to God I didn't do anything to my children, and that's why I have this mark. If it is, I deserved everything from the last sixty-plus years as an enslaved person. Even this," she said as she walked over to Roach and sighed.

He loved her; he had to keep lying to her even if im to do so. That was why he couldn't tell her, but Jaskier told her. They headed to town, and they were silent. Jaskier wasn't scared of Lillian anymore, but she was something they had seen before.

Lillian was deep in thought the whole time and couldn't imagine herself with any man. Geralt had his moments, but he didn't care about her like how she cared about him, so it didn't matter. She didn't even know what to feel. She had a husband, but did she care for Geralt more? How could she forget about him?  Lillian was in love with a grumpy, lying, stubborn man whore that didn't even see her as a woman. He barged into her room twice and didn't even bat an eye. She thought he was different, but he was like all the men she had ever met.

"I'm sorry I made you mad, Lillian," Jaskier said as she glared at him while they were standing at a booth

"Suck a bag of dicks," she said as Jaskier looked shocked by her answer.

"Why the long look?" Yennefer asked as Geralt turned to meet her gaze.

"It is a personal matter, sorry, Yennefer, but I will have to tell you later," she said as she smiled.

"Time of the month; I didn't think you would have one yet," she smirked.

"Someone help! My wife is ill, and the midwife isn't here. She is having the baby early, and the midwife isn't supposed to be here for an hour or more!" The man yelled, making Lillian run over to the man.

"I'm a midwife. I delivered 37 children I can help," Lillian said as Geralt, Jaskier, and Yennefer went to her side.

"This way," he said as they hurried to his home.

"Lillian, this is a bad idea!" Geralt said as she rolled his eyes.

"So you would let a woman and her unborn baby die then? Figures, witchers don't have hearts," she growled as he opened the door and went to the woman's bedside.

"Lillian, she has Pre-eclampsia; there is nothing we can do," yennefer said, looking her over.

"I can stop it, but if I do, I'm not sure I will live. You do know how to deliver a baby, right?" She asked.

"What?! I have no idea! You want me to deliver a baby?!" She asked.

"There is no stopping it, Lillian," Geralt Informed.

"I know I can. I have seen it before a very long time ago; I trust my old self can do it," she said as she gave yennefer a quick run down.

"Lillian, ever it is you are going to do, you will die! You have a family!" Geralt stated.

"This baby has not lived a day in this world, and I will not take any more innocent lives. Those I had no choice because I was unable to save them, and they were suffering, but this one I can. I have lived for who knows how long. I want to give this child a life I will never see again. I raised the kids I got badly even though I did my best. I'm sorry about everything, getting mad at you and saying you didn't have a heart. I'm sorry, Jaskier, for losing my temper with you and you yennefer for thinking you were a terrible person at first and almost killing twice," she said as her hands lit up and Geralt tried to stop her, but it was too late.

She put her hand on the woman's chest and the baby. Her eyes glowed gold for a second, then Lillian fell to the ground as the woman woke up in shock. Geralt went to her side quickly as Yennefer helped deliver the baby safely. Lillian was burning up, and her mark was bleeding. A pattern was gone, and her face was so pale.

"Lillian, wake up. Come on!" Geralt growled as he could hear how slow her heartbeat was.

"It's a boy congratulation," yennefer said as she looked at Lillian.

The man and the woman were so happy, but Geralt was filled with terror and sadness. This time she might never wake up, and it hurt him.

"Thank you so much for saving our son. Is she going to be alright?" The man asked as Geralt scooped her up carefully.

Lillian's nose and mouth started to bleed as well as her eyes and Yennefer sighed.

"Geralt, she just overdid whatever she did. She will be fine," yennefer reassured.

They got an inn, and Geralt kept an eye out on Lillian and tried to take care of her the best he could with Yennefer's help. Jaskier took over to give Geralt a break, and Geralt sat in his room when he heard a knock on his door. He knew it was yennefer by the smell of her perfume. She came in and saw she had makeup on and a very revealing dress on.

"Need to relax?" She asked as he sighed.

"Lillian is going to die one day because of me," he said as Yennefer sat down next To him.

"Come on? She is going to be fine. Just some sleep will help her heal. Are you just sad your toy won't touch you?" She asked as he pinned her down to the bed.

"Lillian is not a toy," he growled.

"Fine, a woman of your desire, if you want, I can help relieve you of some of this stress. You haven't touched a woman in a while, have you, makes that poor virgin girl upset, right?" She asked as he glared at her.

"I am not in the mood for you," he said coldly.

"I can help with that too, unlike he; I know how to treat men right," she said as she kissed him, making him kiss back.

He had to pretend it was Lillian he was touching even though it wasn't. He had to try something, anything at this point.

"Geralt, you pig!" Jaskier muttered under his breath as he heard Geralt groaning and Yennefer moaning.

"You told me you loved Lillian; guess anything with books and easy you love," he muttered.

Lillian woke up a bit and saw Jaskier dumping the bloody water into a bucket and pouring some more into the bowl.

"Jaskier?" Lillian asked as she tried to get up, but her whole body hurt.

"Lillian?! My gods, you are alright? You had worried sick. You have been sleeping for almost seven hours," he said.

"Is everything okay?" She asked.

"Yes, everything is fine, well, except you anyway. I'm so sorry, Lillian. I said you were a terrible wife. You aren't, and I honestly wished you were my wife at this point," he said as she looked at her hands and they were all scratched up and bloody.

"That's new," Jaskier said as he got bandages and wrapped her hands up.

"That's good; thank you for the apology. I know I haven't been easy, and I'm sorry," she said.

"Because there are two of you; your old self and your new one," Jaskier sighed.

"Where is Geralt?" She asked.

"Oh, he is sleeping; I took over for him so he could rest. He stayed by your side up until a half hour ago," Jaskier said as she smiled.

"At least I didn't hurt him again; I'm so tired. He is going to be mad at me, though," Lillian sighed.

"I doubt it; he was just a little scared for you," he said softly.

"I wish I woke up to tell him to thank you," she said as she snuggled back in and went to sleep.

Jaskier hated Geralt and wished he was here with her instead of fucking that witch. Lillian was right, and Geralt was going to pay dearly for it. He hoped he was going to stop before it was too late.
