A new day had dawned on the Boiling Isle's as everyone was waking up and beginning their day. We zoom into the room of one home and see a young teenage boy waking up.

Leon: *yawns and stretches* Alright, time to start the day.

Leon hops out of bed and heads to the bathroom. After getting cleaned up and dressed in his Hexside uniform (with potion track colors of course), Leon ties his hair into a ponytail and double checks himself in the mirror and smiles.

Leon: Okay, you got this. It's your first day at a new school, this is your chance to make new friends and show what you can do. At least with the skills you have.

Leon's smile drops from the thought of his classmates finding out about his inability to use magic on his own. Leon quickly rids his mind of that thought and puts on a smile. After packing some potion supplies and having breakfast, Leon heads off to school. On his way to Hexside, Leon walks through the market to examine some of the shops.

Leon: Wow, quite a few shops to see. Maybe I could check out that potion shop when I need supplies.

As Leon continued walking, one shop in particular caught his eye. He walks up to it and examines some of the items that have never been seen on the Isles before.

Leon: What is this stuff?

Leon questions as he picks up a strange looking black box showing his reflection and examining it. He puts it back down and hears someone call him out.

???: Hey, you're not stealing anything are you?

Leon: No, no, of course not. Just checking out your items on sale.

Leon turns to face the voice and see's her.

???: Good, because I'm the only one who pick pockets around here. *laughs and snorts*

Leon: *laughs* . . . Wait what?

???: Relax kid, I don't steal from customers.

Leon: Okay? So what is this stuff anyway?

???: Just some junk from the Human Realm. Feel free to look.

Leon: Cool, I'm amazed you found a way there.

???: Well, that's my secret to know. By the way, I don't remember seeing you around here before. You new to Bonesborough?

Leon: Yeah, my parents and I recently moved here. My name is Leon.

Eda: Most around here call me the Owl Lady, but you can just call me Eda. You a Hexside student?

Leon: Yeah, today's my first day in fact.

Eda: Ugh, don't even get me started on that place. 

Leon: *chuckles* Not a fan I see.

Leon quickly noticed some clothing by a wall. He walks up to it and examines the outfit. The leather jacket, the jeans, the shoes. Leon smiles liking what he found.

Eda: I see you've taken a liking to the bad boy clothing.

Leon: It looks so cool. This for sale?

Eda: Of course, if you want it-.

Leon: I'll take it!

Leon hands Eda a small money pouch and Eda counts it up and smiles.

Eda: Well, enjoy the new look.

Leon: I will, thank you Eda.

Leon puts the clothing away and walks off as Eda starts looking through a bag of human items that was brought to her by an Owl.

After a while, Leon arrived at Hexside. He stopped to take in the place and smiles before heading inside. As he roamed the halls, Leon examined his surroundings and was fascinated by it all. Some students watched him walking and having looks of interest and curiosity. Leon arrives at his locker and places a few things in there before closing it up and walks off. Only for him to bump into someone else.

???: Oh my Titan! I'm so sorry, I didn't see you! Are you okay?

Leon: Yeah I'm fine. It's okay.

Leon looks up to the person who bumped into him and see's the girl holding her hand up to help him up.

Leon takes her hand and stands up.

???: Again, sorry about that. You new here?

Leon: Yeah, I'm a new student. My name is Leon.

Leon holds his hand out as the Girl takes it.

Willow: Nice to meet you, Leon. I'm Willow.

Leon: Nice to meet you to, Willow.

Willow: So, when did you arrive here?

Leon: A couple days ago, and so far this town doesn't seem so bad.

Willow: Glad to hear you're enjoying your time here. What track are you taking? Judging by your sleeves, I'm assuming potions?

Leon: Yep, probably one of my best skills. And I'm assuming you're in the abomination track?

Willow: Yeah. . .

Willow sounded sad when saying that and Leon noticed right away.

Leon: What's wrong?

Willow: Well, I'm not exactly the best with abominations. My classmates call me Half a Witch Willow because of it.

Leon: Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. Well, At least it's better then being called Not a Witch.

Willow: Not a Witch? What are you-

Before Willow could ask, a voice was heard as someone approached.

???: There you are, Willow. I've been looking for you. Oh, who's this?

Willow: Augustus, This is Leon. He's new here.

Leon: What's up, dude?

Augustus: Nice to meet you, Leon.

Willow: Leon, this is Augustus. He's president of the Human Appreciation Society at our school. He's a bit of an expert when it come's to humans.

Augustus: Did you know that humans have gills?

Leon: *chuckles* That's interesting. I actually passed by this one shop that sells items from the Human Realm on the way here.

Willow/Augustus: You mean the Owl Lady?

Leon: You two know her?

Augustus: Who doesn't know her? Her posters are everywhere.

Augustus hands Leon a wanted poster and he examines it.

Leon: Oh, I didn't realize she was a wanted criminal.

Willow: She's only wanted for using wild magic.

Leon: I thought so. She didn't seem like a bad person when I spoke to her. Who's the little guy?

Leon points to the little demon in the poster.

Augustus: We don't know. We've never seen that guy.

Leon was in thought of the poster. He's broken from his thoughts when the bell screams.

Leon: Well, I better get going. Don't want to be late on my first day. See you guys later?

Willow/Augustus: See you later.

They wave each other goodbye and walk off to their classes. After a few classes later, Leon was wandering the halls of Hexside before bumping into someone and her friend by accident.

???: Hey, watch it!

???: Easy Boscha. Who are you?

Leon: Hey, sorry. My name is Leon, I'm not looking for trouble.

Boscha: Well, you just found it.

???: Are you new here?

Leon: Yeah, moved here a couple days ago.

Amity: Well, my name is Amity Blight and you better remember it.

Leon: Why? Are you popular here?

From hearing that, most of the students stopped and went silent.

Boscha: Oh my Titan, did you really just say that?

Leon: Yeah, so? It's not like you're that important.

Everyone gasped at his response.

Boscha: Oh now you've done it.

Amity: Alright, you think you're so amazing? Show me what you can do.

Amity summons an abomination fist that flies at Leon and out of instinct, Leon tries to summon a fireball but his spell circle dissolves with nothing happening. Leon get's a look of embarrassment when he realized what he did as the abomination fist vanishes before making contact.

Boscha: So, you can't use magic?

Amity: Well, get a load of Not a Witch here.

The crowd of students start laughing at Leon as he runs off in embarrassment. Unknown to him, Willow and Augustus were watching and follow after him. Now outside, Leon was crouched behind the bleachers as he had a few tears in his eyes.

Leon: So much for keeping that a secret.

Leon wipes his tears away trying to calm down. He then hears footsteps and looks in their direction and see's two people who appear to be twins.

Leon: Who are you two?

Emira: I'm Emira Blight, and this is my brother Edric.

Leon: Blight? Are you two related to that Amity girl from earlier?

Leon started to calm down as he stood up and leaned against the wall.

Edric: Oh, you already met Mittens?

Emira: Yeah, she can be trouble.

Leon chuckled when he heard Edric mention their nickname for Amity.

Leon: I'm sorry, did you call her Mittens?

Emira: Oh yeah, it's a name we like to call her.

Edric: If you think that's funny, you should see her when she gets angry.

Edric holds his breath to mimic an angry Amity before releasing his breath

Edric: Whew, almost passed out.

They all started laughing after that.

Emira: So, what happened between you two?

Leon: *sighs* Amity revealed me for the non witch that I am.

Edric: Non witch?

Leon makes a spell circle to show them as it dissolves.

Emira: Oh.

Leon: Yeah, it's the reason why I use potions.

Edric: Hey, potions aren't too bad.

Emira: Yeah, there's all kinds of mischief you could cause with those.

Leon: Mischief? You two are pranksters I presume?

Edric/Emira: You bet.

Leon: Nice, I'm always up for some fun.

Edric: Maybe you could hang out with us sometime?

Leon: I'll keep it in mind. You two seem cool.

Emira: Yeah, you could say we're the more fun sibling's.

Leon: That, we can agree on.

Emira: Well, we better get going. See you around, cutie.

As the twins begin to walk away, Leon blushes from Emira's comment.

Leon: Did she just call me cute?

Augustus: She usually says that to mess with people.

Leon: HOLY TITAN!!!

Leon jumps from Augustus surprising him from behind.

Augustus: Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you.

Willow: After your little show with Amity, we wanted to check on you. Are you okay?

Leon: Yeah, I'm feeling better now thanks to the twins.

Willow: Is this what you meant by Not a Witch?

Leon: Yeah, my peers from my old home always called me that. Do to my inability to use magic, I had no choice but to take part in the potions track.

Willow: Wow, that's a shame.

Leon: Yeah, but it wasn't too bad. I adapted to potions pretty well and am pretty skilled with them.

Augustus: That's a good thing. We all have our own skills.

Willow: I'm actually good with plant magic.

Leon: Really? Why are you in abominations then?

Willow: I didn't really have a choice.

Augustus: Willow and I are kind of considered outcast's.

Leon: Well, I guess that makes three of us.

The three of them laughed before continuing their conversation. The next few hours pass and soon enough, school ends and they go their separate ways. When Leon arrives home, he changes out of his school uniform to try on the clothing he bought from Eda. After putting it on, Leon checked himself out in the mirror and loved the look.

Leon: I think I found my new casual wear.

As Leon continued with his day, he thought back to what happened at school. Willow and Augustus were good friends to have, Edric and Emira were cool people, Boscha and Amity he'd have to watch out for. Leon was actually liking his new home.

Leon: I can't wait to see what awaits me in Bonesborough.

AN: First chapter done. I hope you enjoyed. I know you were probably expecting the first two episodes, but I couldn't figure out how I can write Leon into those episodes. So I settled for a prologue instead to give you the setup of my OC. Don't worry though, he'll meet Luz in the next chapter.
