It's been a few days since Leon started going to Hexside. Since then, he's been hanging out with Willow and Augustus quite a few times as well as pulling some pranks with Edric and Emira. Boscha and Amity are as mean as usual, but Leon doesn't let their words get to him. Today, Leon was on his way to Hexside when he hears someone talking to themself sounding like they're motivating themselves. Leon pulls some bushes aside and see's Willow healing a flower. Leon steps out and approaches.

Leon: Hey Willow. You okay?

Willow: Oh, hey Leon. And no, I'm not doing so well. We're presenting our abominations today, and let's just say I'm not ready.

Leon: I see. Well maybe you could-

Suddenly a cart with a pot rolls in. On top of the pot sits Amity reading a book.

Amity: Willow, Leon, wow. You two are so unnoticeable, I almost rolled into ya.

Amity closes the book and hops off, crushing the flower that Willow healed.

Willow: Hey Amity.

Leon: Greetings, Amity.

Willow stands up with a look of shame while Leon crosses his arms and looks away in annoyance.

Amity: Uh Willow, shouldn't you get to class early to prep your . . .

Amity is cut off when they hear rattling from Willow's pot. The pot tips over and a puddle of abomination goop spills out with an eyeball that blinks and groans.

Amity: Oh, Willow. You don't have anything to show, do you?

Willow pulls up her hood as she blushes from embarrassment. Leon looks at Willow with sympathy and places a hand on her shoulder in an attempt to comfort her.

Amity: *sighs* This is why people call you "Half-a-Witch Willow".

Leon gets a look of anger from hearing that.

Leon: Leave her alone, Amity. And stop calling her that.

Amity: And what are you gonna do about it "Not-a-Witch Leon"? Throw a book at me?

Leon clenches his fists and looks away with an annoyed expression. Rattling is heard from Amity's pot.

Amity: Oh, looks like someone wants to say something to you. *takes the cover off the pot and snaps her fingers* rise.

An abomination rises out of the pot and pokes Willow's forehead, leaving some goop in the shape of a star.

Abomination: You're a . . .star.

Amity: Aw, it's like mine. *adjusts her "top student" badge* But much smaller and meaningless. As top student, it's my duty to tell you to keep at it. And that goes for you to, Leon. *points to Leon before wrapping an arm around Willow* Even you could get a passing grade someday. Abomination, cower.

In response, the abomination retreats back into the pot and Amity closes it back up.

Amity: See you in class, superstar.

Amity walks away with her cart, as Willow pulls down her hood and wipes the star from her head. Leon gets an annoyed look before speaking from frustration once Amity is out of ear shot.

Leon: *speaking to himself in the direction Amity went* Aren't you due back at the lab to have your BOLTS tightened? *looks down dejectedly* I should have said that. *kicks some dirt off the ground* Titan, she's starting to annoy me!

Willow: "Oh, see you in class, superstar!" I hate when she does that.

As Willow rants, the wind picks up and leaves start to blow around her which Leon notices.

Leon: Uh, Willow.

Willow: I hate making abominations. I hate getting bad grades. Ugh! I can't stand this anymore.

Willows eyes start to glow green as thorny vines start to grow uncontrollably from the crushed flower. Leon looks in wonder but is quickly caught in some vines as they start to tangle around him, covering his mouth and eyes. Though he can't see, he hears a couple of unfamiliar voices scream.

Willow: Oh, no, no, no, no, no! I'm so sorry!

???: It's okay, The thorns only went through a few layers of skin.

???: You might want to get that looked at just in case.

Willow: So. . . Circly.

Leon is confused and starts to try and struggle out of the vines.

Leon: *muffled* Hello? Can someone help me out of here?

Willow looks to Leon with a panicked look.

Willow: Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry, Leon.

Willow quickly makes the vines retreat and untangle from Leon as he falls face first into the ground.

Leon: *holds a thumb up* I'm okay, and thanks Willow.

Leon stands up and dusts himself off as he gets a good look at the two people he heard. One was a female witch who appeared to be around Edric and Emera's age. She had purple hair with some red highlights as well as blue eyes. Leon's eyes widen when he see's the other was . . .

Leon: A HUMAN!?!?

They suddenly hear the bell scream.

Leon: Ah, man! Sorry, I'd love to stay and chat, but I don't want to be late for class.

Willow: And I have to go disappoint my teacher. It was nice meeting you two.

Willow and Leon begin to walk away but are stopped by the human.

Luz: Wait! I'm Luz, and you're Willow and Leon, right? That thing you did with that flower and those plants, Willow. It was. . . wow.

Witch: I'll admit, even I haven't pulled anything like that.

Leon: That was pretty amazing, Willow.

Willow: Thanks, but . . . I'm not even supposed to be doing plant magic. My parents put me in the abomination track at school.

Luz: *squeals* Like magic school?

Willow nods as Leon looks at her with curiosity. Leon stands next to Luz's friend and talks to her as they watch.

Leon: She seems pretty hyped.

Crystal: She's been amazed by a lot of things when she arrived in our realm. My name is Crystal by the way. *holds her hand out*

Leon: *Takes her hand* Leon. nice to meet you.

Crystal: So, you and Willow are students?

Leon: Yeah, my parents and I actually moved here to Bonesborough a couple days ago in fact.

Crystal: I see. *notice's Luz covered in abomination goop.* Luz, what are you doing now?

Luz: Willow wants a good grade, and I want to see magic school. So, I'm gonna be her abomination.

Leon . . . *chuckles* Is she always like this?

Crystal: Oh yeah.

Luz: C'mon, Crystal. Don't you want to see magic school?

Crystal: Well, okay I am a little interested.

Luz: *squeals with joy and hugs Crystal* Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

The group walk off and arrive at Hexside.

Willow: Welcome to Hexside School of Magic and Demonics. Remember to stay hidden, okay?

Luz giggles and hides in the pot.

Crystal: So, what about me?

Leon holds out a potion track uniform.

Leon: Here, you can use one of my spare school uniforms.

Crystal: Oh, thanks.

After slipping on the uniform, Crystal and the rest of the gang walk through Hexside. They arrive at their lockers when Augustus approaches, reading a magazines.

Augustus: Willow, Leon, you would not believe humans.

Willow: Humans? Psh. We haven't seen any. What?

Augustus: *Showing them the magazine* Did you know that humans nail barbed wire to their kids' teeth? But why? Maybe to make them magnetic.

Luz: Actually, it's for storing treats.

Augustus looks confused.

Leon: Okay, Augustus. Willow and I came across someone pretty interesting. But, you have to be cool.

Augustus: I can be spool. *stammers* I mean, cool.

Willow: Okay. Abomination, rise.

Luz: *stands out of the pot* Ta-da! I'm an abomination.

Crystal: *chuckles* Luz, abominations don't act like that.

Augustus: No. No, it couldn't be.

Willow: He's the president of the Human Appreciation Society. Most witches wouldn't be able to recognize a human right away. But Augustus is an expert.

Augustus: Where are your gills?

Crystal: *laughs*

Leon: Sometimes I question where he finds his sources.

Luz: I knew an Augustus back in the human realm. We called him Gus.

Gus: Gus? Nickname? Human nickname? Gus? Call me it. Wow. Gus! This is the best day of my life! *Looks at Crystal* Who are you?

Crystal: My name is Crystal, and I'm just here to see what the school is like considering my mom doesn't want me going near this place.

The bell suddenly screams, signaling classes starting.

Gus: I've got to get to spelling class. See you guys at lunch.

Willow: *Waves to Gus* All right. Into the darkness you go.

Luz hisses and sinks back into the pot. Willow waves to Leon and Crystal as she walks off with Luz.

Leon: Well, we better get going as well.

Crystal: Lead the way.

They begin walking and Leon decided to break the ice.

Leon: So, how did you meet Luz?

Crystal: Well, I was at home watching King when my mom came home with her. Luz said that she followed Owlbert into our realm to get her book back.

Leon: I see, but who are King and Owlbert?

Crystal: Owlbert is my mom's palisman and King is our roommate. He's a cute little guy who tries to act tough, but just ends up looking more adorable.

Leon: You sound like you've got an interesting life.

Crystal: Well, it got more interesting when Luz arrived.

The two of them laugh as they continue walking. They spend the next hour or so in potions class. Leon helps give Crystal some tips but was impressed to find that she had some experience and knowledge in potions already. After class, the two were walking through the halls to lunch when they run into the twins.

Leon: Hey, Ed and Em. What's up guys?

Leon does a little friendship handshake with the two.

Edric: Not much, we were just having a little fun.

Emira: Want to join us?

Leon: I'd love to, but I'm showing Crystal around the school.

The twins look at Crystal and smile.

Edric/Emira: Hi there.

Crystal: Hello, nice to meet you two. Leon called you two Ed and Em?

Leon: They're the nicknames I refer to them as. Their names are Edric and Emira.

Crystal: Ah, okay.

Emira: So, is she a new student?

Edric: Or is she someone you snuck in here?

Leon: The answer is the ladder. But don't tell that to anyone.

Emira: *playful tone* Ah, I thought you trusted us!

Edric: *playful tone* You wound us with your words, Leon!

Leon and Crystal break into laughter followed by the twins.

Edric: Well, we have to get going.

Emira: Enjoy the tour, Crystal.

Leon: And you two stay out of trouble.

The twins laugh as they walk off.

Crystal: They're kind of cool.

Leon: Yeah, I like to hang out with them whenever I can.

The two continue walking and eventually are seated with their friends at the lunch table. They chatted for a bit and Willow told them about what happened in the abominations class.

Leon: Wow, I didn't think Amity would be that protective of her reputation.

Willow: Yeah, I think she's onto us.

Gus: Hey, do humans eat PB&J's?

Luz: Oh my gosh, I haven't eaten real food in so long. Please give me some.

Gus hands Luz half of the sandwich and Luz takes the whole thing in her mouth before sinking back into the pot.

Willow: I don't know, Gus. If Amity saw that. . .

Amity: *jumps onto the table* I saw that! Abominations don't eat! I know you're in there! You can't hide from me! What are you?! Who are you?! I want answers! *shakes Luz as she speaks*.

Abomination Professor: Amity Blight.

Amity: Huh?

Abomination Professor: I suspected a twinge of jealousy, but this, this is just sad.

Amity: But I-No! Look at it.

Luz: *groans as her head falls back*

Abomination Professor: Report to Principal Bumps office.

Amity: But-

Abomination Professor: Now!

Amity runs off as the professor leaves. Luz pops back out and the gang share a look of concern with each other. A few hours later, Leon and Crystal are wandering through the halls.

Leon: So, what do you think of Hexside?

Crystal: Honestly, it's not so bad. The classes don't seem to bad and the students don't seem so bad.

Leon: Yeah, they may be judgmental, but there are the friendly ones.

???: Hello, Not-a-Witch Leon.

Leon: *sighs* Unfortunately, she's not one of them.

The two turn around to see Boscha with a smug smile.

Leon: Hello, Boscha.

Boscha: So, who's your new friend here? Does she not have magic either?

Crystal: Hey! Watch it you!

Leon: Relax Crystal, I got this. No, she's got magic Boscha. Though, unlike you, she actually respects people for the skills they have and not for their reputation. Which last I checked, you're lacking in both.

Boscha: Alright, now you asked for it.

Boscha get's ready to shoot a fireball when suddenly red barriers show up around the walls.

Boscha: What the? Why is the school on lockdown? Did you have something to do with this?

Boscha looks to Crystal, only to find that she and Leon were gone. Boscha runs off to find them, but the two were just behind a corner after reappearing.

Crystal: Good thing you had those invisibility potions.

Leon: Yeah, but now I'm wondering why the school is on lockdown.

The two think for a moment before they realized.

Crystal/Leon: Luz!!!

The two run off to find Luz. As they run, they notice vines growing around the walls. The two arrive at the lobby and see a massive forest of vines.

Leon: Well, looks like Willow has the situation covered.

Crystal: Yeah, what happened here?

???: What happened is that we had an unaccounted guest.

The two look up towards the voice to see a man tied up in vines.

Leon: Principal Bump!!! Are you okay?

Bump: I'm okay, but I could use some help getting down.

Leon: I'd love to, but I have no magic to control the vines.

Crystal: Here, please allow me.

Crystal held her hands out towards Bump as her eyes started to glow green. Leon and Bump watch in amazement as her hands started to have the same glow. The vines started to glow and gently lower Bump down to the ground before releasing him.

Bump: Remarkable. What is your name young lady?

Crystal: My name is Crystal Clawthorne, sir.

Bump: Clawthorne? I don't recall any of Eda's family being a student.

Crystal: *nervously* Well, I was here to see the school. But it looks like you met my friend Luz.

Bump: You mean the human that was causing a ruckus?

Crystal: Yeah, I apologize for her.

Leon: Principal Bump, please don't punish her. Crystal didn't plan for this, plus I'm sure Luz meant no harm.

Bump: Very well, but I'm afraid I'll have to ban Luz from the school.

Crystal: I understand, I'll go see if I can find her.

Crystal runs out of the school to look for Luz. Leon looks back at Bump with a worried look.

Bump: She's quite the witch. She might make a great student here.

Leon: You should see her in potions. She's quite talented.

Bump: Her mother must have taught her well.

Leon: Yeah, speaking of which, did you say her mother was Eda?

Bump: Yes, she was quite the troublesome student here.

Leon: I see, well I better go check on them. See you later, Principal Bump.

Leon runs off and leaves the school. He eventually finds Luz and Crystal at a house with a stained glass window that looks like an eye. Once he gets closer, he see's Eda and a little creature who he assumes is King.

Leon: Luz! Are you okay?

Luz: Leon! I'm glad you're okay! And yes, I'm okay.

King: Who's this guy, your boyfriend?

Leon/Luz: No!

Leon: Titan no, we just met. My name is Leon, and I assume you must be King?

King: Yes! I am the King of Demons! You shall fear me!

Leon chuckles as he crouches down and starts scratching King's chin. In response, King quickly leans into it clearly enjoying it.

Leon: *chuckling* Crystal was right about you being adorable.

Eda: Oh, it's you new kid.

Leon stands up and faces Eda.

Leon: Hey Eda, Good to see you. So, you have a daughter.

Eda: Yeah, I adopted her a while back and we've been family ever since. She was happy to be rooming with Luz.

Crystal: I noticed. The two are practically like sisters.

Leon said as he looks at Crystal and Luz talking to each other about their experiences. They notice Willow and Gus approaching as Willow hugs Leon and Luz.

Willow: Luz, Leon! You won't believe it guys. Everything is perfect now.

Luz: It's true, I don't believe it.

Willow: Principal Bump was so impressed by my plant work he's switching me to the plant magic track! Look!

With a snap of her fingers, Willow's uniform changes from magenta to green.

Luz: Yes!

Leon: Alright, way to go!

Luz: Whoo! Oh, what about Amity?

Gus: Last we saw, she was asking Bump if today could count as extra credit.

Luz: Well, I can't wait to see you in action next time I sneak in.

Leon and the others gain a nervous look.

Crystal: Yeah, about that. . .

Leon: I don't know how to put this lightly, but you're sort of banned from Hexside.

Willow proves their point by showing them a banned poster of Luz covered in abomination goop. Eda swoops in and snatches it with a smile.

Eda: That's my girl!

Leon: Well, we could always visit you and teach you what we learned.

Luz: Aw, that would be nice. But . . . I have a pretty great teacher already.

Crystal: Not sure about that, but I can say she's a good mother to have.

Eda: Yeah, that's right. Luz and Crystal are my students. Back off, academy twerps.

Everyone laughs in response.

Eda: Ah, baby's first wanted poster. Good job, kid. *ruffles Luz's head* Looks like I taught you something after all.

Gus: Uh, you high five with your hands, not your head.

Leon just chuckled in response to Gus's comment.

Eda: Don't worry Crystal, you'll get your wanted poster soon enough.

Crystal: Mom, I'd rather avoid becoming a wanted criminal.

Eda: *laughs and snorts* I said the same thing at your age.

Leon smiles before walking off. Crystal and Luz call out to Leon and approach him.

Crystal: Where are you going?

Luz: Don't you want to hang out for a bit?

Leon thinks about it before responding.

Leon: Well, I suppose I could stick around for a bit.

???: Yes, new friend!!!

Leon: GAH, WHAT IS THAT!!!

Luz/Crystal/Eda: HOOTY!!!

Hooty: Sorry, I'm just excited to meet someone new- OH A BUG!!! *chases after the bug*

Leon: . . . Well that was something.

Crystal: You get used to him after a couple years of living here.

Leon: I see. Well, how about a play some music for us?

Crystal: What?

Luz: You're a musician? *starry eyed*

Leon: I wouldn't say I'm a musician. But I am good with an ocarina.

Leon pulls out an ocarina from his pocket that Luz and Crystal take interest in.

Everyone sits down to listen to Leon play. As we fade to black, we hear Leon play a jolly little tune.
