CHAPTER CHAPTER FIFTY: GOING BACK HOME

"It might be hard but please don't give up. Stay strong and keep going. Every time we give up, we end up getting disappointed and everytime we give up, we become more likely to give up again in the future. But if we instead keep on going, we will feel happy and proud of ourselves. We become stronger and it becomes easier to move forward in the future"

Amy was standing by her car "Are you leaving?" a voice asked and she turned around to see Five walking over to her.

"Yeah, it's for the best" she said and Five nodded.

"Thank you" he said and she looked at him "Thank you for taking care of her, when I couldn't" he said "Thank you for believing in her like I do" Amy said and Five smiled.

"Don't waste one moment with the people you love" she said and Five raised an eyebrow "I know you love her, Five. I can see it in your eyes and I have noticed the way you act around her, the way you look at her. So don't try to deny it or run from it" she said "I'm not plaining on" he said "Then tell her. Tell her that you love her" she said "I don't know how" he said.

"I met a boy name Louis when I was six. His mom and my mom were best friends, so we grew up together. Then at 14 we fell in love, and at 16 we started dating. It was not puppy love, it was ture love and when I was 17, we found out that was pregnant and it was not very good. But Louis was there for me. He proposed and we were planning on running away together. So while I started packing, he ran some errands. When the time for us to meet came, he never showed up. I later found out that he had died in a car accident" she said and Five's eyes widened.

"It broke me, and cause I was 17 and I wasn't married. My dad was in charge and he decided that it was for the best that the baby was taking away from me. They took her from me before I even get the chance to hold her" Amy said before she let out a sigh.

"It was the last straw. I was completely broken. I was thinking about killing myself, but I knew I had to be strong. So when I turned 18, I decided to go out and live my life, 'cause we all have only one life, so we better made the best of it" she said as she looked back at Five.

"Don't waste one moment with Natalie and live your life with her like it was your last day alive and even if you lost her, then the best you can do is live your life for the both of you, 'cause that it was what I decided to do for Louis" she said and he nodded.

"Amy!" a voice called out and you ran up to her and Five "Where are you going?" you asked "I'm leaving. You and your siblings can go home now" she said "What about you?" you asked "I will be okay. I have unfinished business" she said and tears started showing in your eyes.

"I'm gonna find my child. She is out there somewhere" Amy said "But...." you said with tears in your eyes.

"It's okay. I will fine" she said and you nodded "Can't believe that the best friend I have ever had, turns out to be my own Granddaughter" she said causing your and Five's eyes to widened "I don't know how. But it's a feeling. And I also have a feeling that I don't ever get to see you again" Amy said and tears ran down from your eyes.

"What a magnificent puzzle you are... and a true friend. It has been my honor to spend time with such an amazing person and a great friend" she said and you wrapped your arms around her.

"I love you" you said "I love you too" she said before you both pulled away.

"Here" she said as she took off her necklace "I can't take that" you said "Yeah, it is family heirloom, so it only make sense that you get it" Amy said and you smiled before you hugged again.

"Thank you for everything. I really appreciated it. Take care of yourself. I will try my best in staying alive" she said "It's okay. I always wanted to meet you and I finally did" you said and she smiled.

You two then pulled away and she looked at Five "Take care of her for me" she said and he nodded "I promise you that I will protect her and keep her safe. I would die before I let anything happen to her again" he said and Amy nodded before she turned around.

She opened the door to her car before closing it and driving away.

Five wrapped his left arm around your shoulders and you rested your head on his shoulder as you both watch Amy drive away.

"She will be fine" he said "I know" you said

Herb and Dot appeared on the field and they looked around as they saw all the agents laying on the ground "Yowza" Herb said "I should've brought my parka" Dot said "Yeah" Herb said as the two started walking forward.

"Oh, wow. Excuse me, pardon me" Herb said as they stepped over the bodies "Ooh--" Dot said "Watch your step" Herb said.

"Herb. Dot" Five said as him and Diego approach the two.

"Hi" they both said as they stepped closer to them, trying to step over all the bodies that were scattered out around the field while they apologizing to them.

"Sup, Herbie?" Diego said as the two stopped in front of Dot and Herb.

"Hey my man" Herb said before him and Diego gave each other a handshake.

"Good you see you guys" Five said as he put his hands in his pocket.

"I can't believe it. Is she...?" Herb asked "Really dead this time?" Five said as he know that he was referring to The Handler "Oh, yeah" Diego said "Oh" Herb whispered.

"Now that The Handler's gone what happens at The Commission?" Five asked "Eh" Herb said and Dot looked down at him causing him to turn to her "Just tell them" she said "We need to elect a new board of directors. But, until then, I, um...I've been voted in as acting chairperson" Herb said.

"No shit. Congrats, Herbie. That's huge" Diego said "I'm so goddamn nervous" Herb said "You'll do fine." Five said "Oh, thank you" Herb said.

"Herb, we need a favor" Five said "Oh, sure, anything" Herb said "A briefcase. Get us back home, where we belong" Five said and they looked at all the briefcases that was laying around the field "Take your pick" Herb said.

"So you did that?" you said as you and Five were sitting on the porch, waiting to watch the sunset together.

He have told you what he did that the barn "Yeah" he said with as nod.

"So that's why you suddenly appeared by the barn door" you said "Yeah, I rewind time, just for a few seconds. But those few seconds, haunted me" he said "Why?" you asked "I..." he said before he let out a sigh.

"I lost you that day. I lost your voice, your loving laugh, smile and giggled, I lost your eyes. I lost your wonderful mind that I have yet to figure out. And most of all. I lost you" he shook his head lightly.

"I can't lose you Nat, not again" he said "You won't lose me Five, I'm always with you. Always" you said as you looked at him.

His eyes still haven't met yours. You need them to. Your eyes are still full of life. You're still full of life. That's why you softly grab his chin and force him to look at you. To look into your eyes.

"I'm still here. Nothing and no one can stop me from being with you" you smiled as Five's eyes are finally upon you "I wouldn't allow anything or anybody to take you away from me" he whispered and you smiled.

"Just promise me you'll always be careful. And no matter what happens, I will protect you" he said "You know that I can protect myself" she said "I'm not saying that. Just do that for me" he said and you looked at him "I will. And I swear to protect you too" you said "Let's protect each other, okay" he said "Deal" you said.

"But I watch you die two times now. I'm not going to watch you die again" he said "You're not gonna do that. I'm not gonna leave you, I promise" you said.

"I know. But I'm not going to let anything happen to you. So no more sacrifice your life or putting it at risk without telling me about your plan, got it?" he asked and you nodded "I promise" you said.

"I need a pinkie promise" he said, holding up his pinkie and you smiled before you wrapped your pinkie around his pinkie.

"I Natalie Eversun, promise you, Five Hargreeves, that I will never do something like what I did in the theater, I promise to not sacrifice my life or putting it at risk without tell you about my plan first. I promise not to leave you ever again" you said "There, now the promise is official" he said before you both smiled to each other.

"Five. I know now why I thought my name was Emily" you said "Yeah" he nodded "It is my mother's middle name" you said and he looked at you "So I think that deep down I still remember everything, but the door to my memories was just lock, but you were that key to unlocking them" you said and he smiled before you both looked at the sunset.

Unknown to you. You were actually slowly rebuilding yourself. You didn't know it, but your time in Dallas was you being reborn in some sense. You were again up each day to your actually age, regaining yourself through the Hargreeves and most of all Five.

"You know what. I never really felt at home since the apocalypse made me lose my sense of home so I always felt out of place even with my siblings" he said as he looked at his fingers "But then I met you at that diner. And you became my home"

He then turned to face you "I want you to know I see you. I can see the pain written all over your face because I know the look of someone trying so hard to pretend like they're alright when they're crumbling on the inside. You're not alone, you have me in your life now and I'm going to be there for you, no matter what. I'm not going to let you down. Just show me where it hurts the most so I know where to love you the hardest, because all I want to do it make sure you feel the love, my love that you deserve" he said "Does your self who-sucks at love confessions, would be happy if I said, I feel the same about you the other 364 days of the year" you said and a smile appeared on his face.

"Don't worry about me losing feelings, I'm not going to find someone better. I'm not going anywhere, I'm not like the rest. I'm not going to leave you. My mind has already been made up, I want you and only you, because to me, you are my kind of perfect. I care about you and I just wanna make you happy, I don't want to lose you" he said as he put his hand on your cheek and you lifted your head to look at him.

"My biggest fear is that eventually you see me the way I see myself" you said "Never. I don't see a monster or a witch. I see a beautiful, smart and strong woman who just need to feel love and wanted and you will feel it with me" he said and your eyes widened "Even you deserve a happy ending and I can give that to you, if you let me, we can have that" he said "You were the first person that I have met that saw me as the one I really was. And you were the one that painted my world in color when I though that it would be gray forever" you said.

"You deserve to be loved without having to hide the parts of yourself you think are unlovable" he said and you smiled "I want to work on myself with you by my side and I want you to work in yourself with me by your side. Life isn't easy, let's do this together" he said and you nodded.

"To be honest my feelings for you kinda scares me. I don't wanna screw up what what we have and I hope that whatever happens we don't ruin what we had before this" he said "I agree. I'm scared too that something will screw this up" you said.

"You are so important to me. You are truly one of a kind and your unique personality and spirit make my life so much brighter. I am grateful for you and all the ways you bring joy and love into my world. No matter what you may be feeling, just know that I see you, I accept you, and I love you the way you are. Your true colors shine through every day and I am so lucky to be able to experience them" he said and you smiled.

"Promise you will stay with me" you said "Always. I will never leave you again I'll stay when it gets hard. I'll stay when everyone else are leaving you. I'll stay even when you want to leave too. I'll stay because I know what it's like to have people leave, I'll stay today and every day after. I'll always be there for you. I will stay with you until the very end of time. And I promise that no one will be able to take me away from you. Nothing in this whole world will keep me away from you. You are the person that makes my heart shine and beat. You are the one that make me smile and laugh" he said and you blush.

"Remember when we were young, you once asked me who I care the the most about" he said and you nodded "It's you, it has always and will always be you and I promise that I will not let anyone or anything get between us this time, no matter what and I promise to always be by your side and I promise to always protect you" he said "You know maybe one day I'm gonna be the one saving you or at least protecting you" you said "Never going to happen" he said and you chuckled.

"Nat" he said and you looked at him "I don't know why I like you. Your love is all I need to feel complete. I need you like a heart needs a beat to stay alive" he said and you smiled "I need you just as much, you made me see things different" you said.

You were still a bit scared of love and everything that came with it. But you wanted to fall in love again. You wanted to be with Five, you trust him.

You both smiled as you looked at each other.

Five's face light up as he stared into your y/e/c eyes.

You were his sun, you are the only one who could turn his dark days into bright again.

You were his hope and happiness. He needs you, you were keeping his sanity alive and you were giving him strength.

He wanted to be with you and you wanted to be with him. You both want to hold each other's hands to show that you are never leaving each other, cause you won't.

You were the person who made him and his heart smile. You were the air that he breathe.

He stared at your eyes before moving his gaze to your lips and back to your eyes again "Screw it" he mumbled to himself under his breath before grabbing your collar of your shirt and pressed your lips against his while pulling you closer with both his hands holding on to your collar.

Unable to absorb anything that was happening at the time, your eyes opened in full surprise. Your thoughts were completely blank till they just focused his lips on yours. It was your first kiss.

But before you could kiss him back, he pulled away "Shit Nat" he said worried "Fuck, I should've have asked you first, I shouldn't have attack you like that, I'm so sorry---" "Shut up" you said before you pressed your lips against his.

He let out a smile before he kissed you back without hesitation and without asking any questions.

Both of your lips were connected as the sun set in front of the two of you.

As your lips touch it felt like the world around was blurry out and was in slow motion.

The kiss felt warm, safe and wonderful. Like it was right.

The kiss was rough and filled with love that mixed with lust perfectly. It was the type of kiss that made time stand still.

Five smiled at the kiss when he knew you were enjoying it and deeper your connection by moving his other hand from your waist to your hip. He pulled you closer, closing the space that remained between you.

The two of you smiled at the kiss. You both felt like the missing piece of puzzle was finally placed. You felt peace with each other. It was like two magnets finally connection, it was like a invisible red thread connected the two of you. Tied you together.

The kiss were full of emotions and Five was so happy that he was able to save you from your demons.

You both pulled away to take a breath as you had your forehead rested against each other while you both closed your eyes. You were both blushing but finally admitted what has been hidden from your hearts.

"That's was um....wow" he said and you chuckled "How is that for your first time?" you asked "Excuse me?" he asked with a raise eyebrow "Well, I assumed you have never kissed a real human and just kissed a mannequin" you said "How dare you" he said and you chuckled "I'm a better kisser than Delores" you said and he chuckled.

"Finally" he breath out and you chuckled. That was it, you finally admitted the truth.  

"Nat. I'm in love with you" he said "I'm in love with you too Five. But too much is wrong with me, that's the problems isn't it, too much is wrong with me and you can't do anything about that. You can't change it, you can't fix me" you said said "I don't want to fix you, I want to be with you, cause I see the person you really are and I don't care about who you were or who you are now and I don't care about what you have done, I fell in love with you because I saw who you really are. I fell in love with you so fast because you make me feel so safe in a way that I have never felt around anyone" he said and you let out a sigh.

"You may think you are too damaged and too broken to ever allow yourself to be happy, but you can choose differently Nat, you can choose to like me, as much as I like you, that should not be up to anyone else" he said and your eyes widened.

"I have never connected with anyone the way I have with you, when I look into your eyes that's when I feel it. That sudden sense of hope, you make things okay, no one else can do that for me, you're special" he said "I feel the same way but being with me is not going to be easy" you said "I know that being with you is not going to be easy, it's going to be really hard, but I don't care cause we're going have to work at this every day, but I want to do that because I want to be with you. I want all of you, forever, you and me, every day" he said and you smiled "Promise me to never leave me, hurt me or break my heart" you said "I promise" he said as you both looked at each other.

"I wouldn't allow anyone or anything tear to us apart this time. I will hurt anyone that does" he said "Easy, don't turn back to the dark side" you said with a small smile "As long as I have you, I would never do that" he said "And as long as I have you, I will never let the darkness take over me" you said "And if it does, I will always be there to pull you out of it, I promise" he said.

I have faith in what I see
Now I know I have met an angel in person
And she looks perfect

His brows furrowed and he stroke his thumb across your cheek "Don't ever do something like what you did at the theater, don't ever do something that stupid ever again" he muttered and you let out a smile before you kissed him on the forehead "I wouldn't. I promise, I would never leave you again" you said.

You knew that you couldn't promise to not do something like that again and you couldn't promise to always be with him. But you would do your best and even if you left him, you would always be in his heart and always be with him, watching over him.

"Nothing can keep us apart, huh? We always seems to find our way back to each other, no matter if we have forgotten each other or not" he softly chuckled and you smiled "Well, I think its a sign, that our souls are connected and we are each other's half" you said and he smiled "We are" he said.

"You know what's funny?" you asked and he shook his head "No matter what have happen, no matter what we have being through, no matter if we have forgotten each other, even if I have forgotten you, I always seems to find my way to you. We always find our way back to one another" you said "And we will. We will always find each other" he said and you nodded "We will" you said.

"I still have a lot to learn about love, but I want to learn it with you, I still have many defects to correct,  but I want to correct it for both of us, I still haven't reached my best version, but I want you to be the one who enjoys it. There are still many things to experience and I want to live them with you" he said and you grab his hand.

"So does this mean that we're..." he scratch the back of his neck nervously "Natalie Eversun will you be my girlfriend?" he asked "Hmmm" you said and made an expression like you were thinking "I will think about that" you said which caused him to snap his head at you while he looked at you with widened eyes.

"Do you really mean that?" he asked and you chuckled "I'm kidding" you said which caused him to breath out in relief. 

"Yeah, Five Hargreeves, I would love that, of course I want to be your girlfriend. I have being waiting for a long time for you to ask me that" you said and he chuckled with a smile "I thought for a moment that you were not kidding" he said "Well, we loved teasing each other when we were younger" you said "You were the one that tease me the most, remember that day you stole my sandwich?" he asked and you nodded "Like it was yesterday" you said,

"So can I kiss my girlfriend, to make it official?" he asked and you nodded which caused him to smile before you connected your lips again.

This time, you were a bit more hungry for the other. His kisses were firmer and his breathing grew heavier. It encouraged him a little bit more to do so when he could you were panting a little as well. He then pulled your waist closer, and his leg now draped over yours and you cupped his face once more.

Neither of you knew why such intensity had come over you at that very moment. Perhaps it was your feelings of desperation to remain together or your need to overcome the sadness that had befallen you, or simply just plain desire that had been locked away for the longest time.

Whatever the cause, you just wanted to keep kissing each other. If you looked back at this moment now, you probably wouldn't call it a make-out. It didn't feel like. It just felt like time had stopped, allowing you to kiss for an infinite number of times, as you embraced each other lovingly without moving or pulling away.

You felt peace. You felt home.

You didn't even pull away when the sun fully sent in front of you.

You wrapped your arm around Five's neck who tightened his grip on your hips.

Finally you pull away and your breathing was out of sync and you didn't turn to look at the sunset. You weren't tired and you thought you could keep kissing for a little while longer. But then you saw the color that reflected in each other's eyes and you both turned to watch the beautiful sunset.

Five turned to stare at you again. Your once sad expression turned into a beautiful, wonder-stricken smile. Your eyes practically twinkled under the light of the sunset, and he was in awe how much these eyes have changes in the past few minutes.

In this moment you were beautiful. You were always beautiful. But he once again thought of just how much he was in love with this woman.

"So now what?" you asked "Well, first we need to get back home and make sure we have stopped the apocalypse" he said "Then what?" you asked "Make up from the time we have missed with each other. Do stuff together, just be by each other's side, enjoying each other's company" he said.

"I like that" you rested your head on his shoulder "Me too. Beside there is something that I actually want to give to you. A surprise" he said "What is that?" you asked "It wouldn't be a surprise if I told you" he said and you chuckled "But I will give it to you when we are back home and I'm sure that everything is okay. I hope you will like it" he said "I know I will love it, no matter what it is 'cause it's from you" you said.

"I was so lucky to find you, because you're one in a million stars, a star that never ends, a star that shines infinitely" he said with a smile as he rested his head on top of yours before his left hand grabbed your right hand, lacing your fingers together.

Five was happy, he finally have someone to laugh with, smile with, talk with, to protect him, to care about him, to spend time with, he have finally gotten what he have wanted since he was a kid and he would never let go of you and the same thing with you.

You were the one he love, the one he could call his. You are the light that guided him through this dark world and he did the same for you.

Both Five and you were more than happy. You have finally gotten the one you have being in love with from the start.

Even after everything that had happened. Your love and connection had just proof that nothing could keep you and Five apart and no matter what, the two of you would always find a way back to each other. Your strong bond between the two of you would never get destroyed, no matter what.

The two of you would stay with each other until the very end of time itself this time. Nothing in the whole world would keep you two away from each other. You and Five would never be apart again, never would be alone. You would stick together as one cause that's what you were.

Your love and connection had just proof that nothing could keep you two apart and no matter what, you would always find a way back to each other. Your strong bond between you and Five would never get destroyed, no matter what. And no matter what happens, the love you and Five have for each other will never disappear, you and him are made for each other.

You both stole each other's hearts.

When you were a kid, you never thought you would be here, you thought you were destined to be alone because of the way you were. But then you met Five and he make you feel less lonely, less broken and less weird, he showed you that being different is what makes you special. He was the first person that you have met that saw you as the one you really were. And he was the one that painted your world in color when you thought that it would be gray forever.

Five had saved you, in every way a person can be saved.

Of all the women in the history of the world, in every timeline, Five choose you.

Your mom was right about it all, but one of the things, she was most right about was that a love like that only come once in a lifetimes, so don't wast it, enjoy it. And that is what you are going to do, you are going to enjoy it as long as you can.

It was like the two of you were connected to each other in some way, like two magnets, two puzzles pieces. An invisible strong string that tied you and him to each other. It had wrapped around you both before you had even met. You and Five knew that no matter what timeline or universe you two were in, you would have met either way, 'cause you were destined to meet.

It didn't matter what timeline, universe or world you and Five was in, you would always find each other.

You and Five love each other, more than anything and nothing will ever changed that. You were the one for each other.

You were each other's world, light, other and better half and your everything, and you always will be.

Five have being moving from place to place since he was 13, and most of the places he's been to have been traumatic for him. He's never had time to stop and figure out who he is, what want to do, what his actual place in life is. But then he met you. You became his purpose in life.

Five have found a flicker of hope in you whose warmth draws him in. Your friendship blossoms amid chaos, offering him a taste of the life he thought he'd lost forever. He have grew found of you. You had this kindness, this light that somehow made the life feel bearable. That was everything to him. Of all the women in the universe and the timeline, you were the only one that held the key to his heart.

You had this way of getting past his walls, pulling him into your world. You made life almost feel like...something more. 

You were the only woman who could heal his dark soul. You were the cure for his tainted heart. You were the beauty shining bright in the darkness, lighting up the path that lead him to you. Always, you. He was certain that even if things would get rough, you would always be his light, guiding his way back home to you. You were the queen of his heart and always will be.

Vanya stepped into the house "Sissy" she called out "We gotta get Harlan packed" she said.

Sissy was sitting on Harlan's bed stroking her son down his cheek as he was asleep on the bed.

Vanya opened the door to the room "Hey" she said and Sissy looked up at her "The sooner we leave, the safer it is for everyone, and we can figure out the next steps from there" Vanya said as she enter the room.

Sissy let out a sigh before he leaned forward "We can't go with you" she said "Why not?" Vanya asked as she sat down on the bed next to her.

"To the future?" Sissy said, her voice trembles "Vanya, that's crazy talk. I mean, what would that even look like?" she asked "Well, we could be a family. I mean, just the three of us" Vanya said as she put her hand on Sissy's knee "We could have a whole life together" she said "What about Harlan? What if something happens to him? And what if we're separated?" Sissy asked and Vanya looked at Harlan.

"I can't risk losing him" Sissy said and Vanya looked at her as tears was showing in her eyes "What if they, like blame you for Carl or--" "Vanya..." Sissy said cutting her off "I saw you. Outside the barn. I...I saw you fl...float" she said "So, what, you're...you're scared of me now? Is...Is that what this is?" Vanya asked and Sissy shook her head "No. no" she said as she put her right hand on Vanya's left cheek "Scared for you" she said and she wipe Vanya's tear away before she lower her arm.

"Tell me we could have a normal life there...and no one would ever come after us for being with you like they did today" she said with tears in her eyes.

"I can't" Vanya said, her voice was breaking as a tear felled from her eye "Vanya, I would do anything for you. To protect you. But Harlan has been through enough. I can't...I can't put that child in any more danger. I can't" Sissy said and Vanya closed her eyes as she let out a sob before she opened her eyes again.

"You have given me the greatest gift of a lifetime. You let me feel alive for the first time" Sissy said with tears in her eyes and the two smiled to each other as they let out a softly sob while a tear felled from Vanya's eyes.

"You helped me find hope again. That's a wonderful thing" Sissy said with a smile.

"Where will you go?" Vanya asked "I'm not sure. Um...I have, um..uh, a friend in California" Sissy said "You go there, and you live a beautiful and wonderful life" Vanya said and they smiled to each other before Sissy put her hands on Vanya's cheeks.

"You ever find a safe way back to me, you take it. You hear me?" Sissy said before they kissed.

They both pulled away as they had their hands on each others cheeks and they smiled to each other before kissing again.

They pulled away and they both sob as they hugged each other.

Axel was walking down the long empty road when suddenly a small bus full with peace logos on, stopped next to him.

The door to the bus opened and a bald guy with a beard and glasses on stood by the door "Hey, fellow traveler. You need a ride?" he asked Axel.

Axel let out a heavily sigh before he entered the bus.

Diego walked out of the house to see Vanya sitting on the stairs that lead up to the door to the house.

He sat down next to her and the two looked at each other before they looked forward again.

Vanya leaned her head on Diego's shoulder and he looked at her before he leaned his head on top of hers.

Ray walked into his kitchen to find a letter from Allison on the table.

He grabbed the letter before he sat down to read it.

'Ray: We should've know I'd find a way to get the last word in. The good news is...we did it. The world is safe again. But the president is dead. And I am long gone. I wish I could be with you right now, in your arms. I don't belong in 1963, but my time here has changed me. It's changed all of us. I wish I could tell you it's gonna be easier from here...but it's not. It's going to get worse...before it gets better. So, I need you to hold on. Keep faith. Believe that good things will happen. Because the fight for a better world is never over. And we all have choices to make. And we have to live with the consequences...before we find the right way home'

It was dark when you and the others all follow Five down the stairs of the house as he messed with the knobs on the briefcase that he was carrying.

You couldn't wait, it was finally time.

Finally time to go back home.

Five stopped and they all stood in a circle as he prepared the briefcase.

"Everyone ready?" he asked as he glanced around at them "Let's do it, yeah" Luther said "Okay" Five said "All right" Luther said and you all grabbed each other's hands.

You hooked her arm with Five's while Allison grabbed onto Five's shoulders as Vanya grabbed Allison's hand.

"All right" Five said "Wait!" Klaus said and they all looked at him. He tilted his head slightly before running towards the porch.

"Fifty bucks if we leave him here" Diego whispered to Five and you glance at Diego as Klaus grabbed a black hat before he put it on.

Klaus then walked back to the circle before he put his hands up to his hat and swiped his finger along the edge before nodding.

Luther grabbed onto Diego's hand as Klaus grabbed onto Luther's and Vanya's hands.

Five grabbed the buckles of the briefcase before he clicked the briefcase open causing it to make a charging noise.

Blue electricity flew around them, touching all of you before the blue light from the briefcase got bigger.

A portal appeared above them quickly and you were all pulled into the portal before it closed and they all disappeared in a blue light.

You, Five and the others all gasps while they stumble backwards as they all appeared by the main entrance of the Academy, where a small table in the middle was.

Allison let out a sigh before panting "Oh, good God" Luther said as they all was groaning while looking around the room.

Five put the briefcase on the table before he grabbed a newspaper that was laying on the table in front of them.

"Wh...What day is it?" Luther asked "April 2, 2019. Day after the apocalypse" Five said "Wait, so we stopped it?" Allison asked "My God, it's over?" Vanya said relieved "Did we...actually succeed at something?" Klaus said as he put his arm across his lower chest "That's incredible" he said before putting his hands over his heart while the others let out a laugh while looking around.

"Finally" you said "All right!" Luther said as you all smiled in relief over that you have done it.

Five grabbed you before he pulled you in for a kiss "We finally did it" he said "We did" you said with a smile.

Then suddenly you heard clapping which case you and Five to pull away to see the others all cheering "Finally" Klaus said with a smile "That was about time" Diego said and you and Five rolled your eyes as you moved away from each other.

"Finally our ship is sailing, that was about time. I won the bet" Klaus said with a happy voice "Well, that means I'm closest" he said with smile before he looked at Diego and Luther "You two own me 10 dollars, each" he said as he pointed on them and the two rolled their eyes.

"Wait, you guys made a bet?" you and Five asked and the others nodded "Yeah, when we were kids, around five I think, we saw the first spark between the two of you and we decided to made a bet, in how long it took for you guys to admit your feelings for each other and get together, and I was closest" Klaus said and clapped his hands.

"I don't know about you guys, but I need a drink" Klaus said as he gave Vanya a quick hug while Five put his hands in his pockets as he was looking around and Klaus gave Luther a quick hug.

"Get over here Talie" Luther said and you moved over to Luther before him and Klaus pulled you in for a hug "Welcome back in the family Tilly" Klaus said as Vanya and Diego joined "It's so good to have you back" Diego said "We missed you" Vanya said and you smiled.

"In fact, I need several drinks" Klaus said as he look around "Come on, guys, let's celebrate it...Let's celebrate that Tilly and Five are finally together" Klaus said as he glanced at them "Let's do that" Vanya said "I'm in" you said before you looked at Five "Pretty boy?" you asked "I'm in" he said.

"I should go find Claire" Allison said as you and the others followed Five into the living room "Oh, come on, one drink" Luther said to her before he grabbed her shoulder "No..." she said as he started dragging her towards the living room and she let out a sigh as she followed after him.

Klaus walked behind the bar and started grabbing glasses and drinks as you and the others came into the room.

You then stopped in front of the fireplace before looking up at a painting above it.

"Wasn't there a picture of Five, or do I remember wrong?" you asked as you pointed on the picture.

"Why is there a painting of Ben over the mantelpiece?" Diego asked and Klaus ran around the bar, running up to the side of Diego as Allison, you, Five, Vanya and Luther all looked at the painting.

"I knew you'd show up eventually" a voice said causing you all to turn towards the voice to see Reginald Hargreeves standing up from a chair that was in front of the antler mount across the room from the bar.

"Dad" Diego said as the siblings' eyes all widened in shock over that their dad were alive.

As soon as you saw Reginald a part of your body was shaking a bit and you felt Goosebumps running down your back and Five moved so he stood in front of you, making sure that Reginald didn't do anything to you.

"You're alive" Luther said softly and Reginald looked at Luther "Why shouldn't I be?" he asked "Yeah. Y-Yeah, you're right. I'm...I'm just happy that we're home and...together again" Luther said "Something is not right" you said inside your head.

"'Home'? This isn't your home" Reginald said "What are you talking about? This is the Umbrella Academy" Allison said.

"I have a bad felling about this" you said inside your head.

"Wrong again. This is the Sparrow Academy" Reginald said before looking up at the Sparrows who stopped by the middle of the balcony.

At the sound of echo footsteps approaching from upstairs was heard from behind them made you, Five and the others to turn around and they saw in front of a circular window stood five people and a grey cube that was floating next to them.

Diego pulled out his knife in defense, ready for a fight while Five stepped in front of you to protect you while Reginald looked at you with a smile.

"My daughter is finally home. I knew she would come back" he whispered.

"Dad, who the hell are these assholes?" a voice asked and the siblings took their attention away from the people on the balcony to see a man walking out from the side.

Five's and his sibling's eyes widened when they saw it was their brother Ben who was alive.

But he didn't look like the old Ben. His hair was different and he had an almost invisible scar on his face right under his left eye by his cheek.

You, Five and his siblings all froze in shock "Shit" you said as you all realised that you had screwed something up when you travelled back from 1963 to 2019.

"Sometimes you gotta play a role even if it means, people you love hate you for it"
