CHAPTER FOURTEEN: MEMORIES FOUND

"So that's what the surprise was at the end of the day, watching the stars and then watching the sunrise together. In a place far from Dallas" you said and Amy nodded "I think it would be a good time to end the moment" she said "You know, I love watching the stars, the sunset and the sunrise" you said "Me too" she said.

"What about your little sister?" you asked "She loved being up late" Amy said with a small smile "I'm sorry you lost them and I'm really sorry about the story you told me about you losing your first love, and your baby being taking away from you" you said "It's okay. I know she is out there somewhere" she said "Are you gonna find her?" you asked "I don't know yet. But I've learned how to move on from the past. You and Elliott help me with that" she said "How so?" you asked "Well, you kinda became my second family. At least for those four months, we shared some fun times together. Moments that I will remember forever" she said and you smiled before you wrapped your arms around Amy "I'm gonna miss you" she said.

You pulled away before looking at her "Let's head back" you said "Yeah, Elliott is probably worried. I will drop you off" she said "What about you?" you asked "There is some things I need to do. But I will be back later" Amy said and you nodded.

As you got into the car, you felt your hands were shaking a bit and your heart was racing, it felt like something was happening or about to happen, or something already had happen.

Five pulled up the briefcase from a dumpster as Luther ran up to him "Where is anyone?" Luther asked "You're the first" Five said "What?" Luther asked "Yeah" Five said before he looked around "Where the hell is Em?" he asked "I thought you found her" Luther said "I couldn't, then I thought she was here, but she isn't" Five said.

Then they spotted Klaus came running at the end of the alley with his hands stretched out to the sides. He almost ran straight into the wall as he turned down the alley.

"We made it" he said as he ran down the alley before he stopped in from of them "What do you mean 'we'?" Five asked but Klaus just moved one of his hands beside his face.

The two looked confused at Klaus as he started groaning and grunting "Get out" he said almost choking out his words while letting out a shuddering grunts.

"Out" Klaus said before he put his hands to his stomach as he hunched over before vomiting on the ground by his feet.

Klaus let out a groan as he fell to the ground, still holding his stomach.

"I can't believe it. I mean, you're here" Luther said, the two knew that if anyone of their siblings would be late, it would be Klaus.

"We've got eight minutes left" Five said as he looked at his watch. "I just had the strangest dream" Klaus said as he was laying on the ground while whimpering.

You enter Elliott's apartment "It's me!" you called out but there was no answer "Hello. Elliott" you called out as you looked around.

You then noticed red liquid on the floor "What the hell?" you asked as you crouched down to look closer at it.

You stuck two fingers at the liquid before lifting up your finger and your eyes widened when you realized that it was blood.

"Hello dear" a voice said which caused you to quickly stand up before you turned around to see a woman standing in front of you.

"Who are you?" you asked "I'm a friend of Five" she answered and you tilted your head a bit "Five have not mention you" you said "Well, you can say that we are old coworkers" she said "Are you from that places Five used to work?" you asked and she nodded "I am and I have some really sad news to tell you" she said "What are you talking about?" you asked "Someone you love is dead and it's all Five's fault" she said before taking a deep breath.

"Your friend Elliott is dead" she said "What?" you asked as your eyes widened "Elliott is dead. He was killed last night" she said and tears started falling from your eyes.

"Did you kill him?" you asked as you clenched your fists while red whips appeared around them "No, not at all. But" she said before she walked closer to you "Those Swedes that was at that gala, killed him" she said as she started walking around you "They were chasing Five and his siblings, and they found out that they stayed here. But since none of them were there, Elliott was the one that paid the price" she said and you look down while sobbing.

"But that wouldn't have happen if Five hadn't appeared. If Five hadn't arrived at this apartment, if he just have left you alone. Elliott would still be alive" she said and your expression changed while your eyes started glowing dark red.

The Handler then put a finger on your chin before she turned your head so you were looking at her and she smiled as she could see the anger in you.

"So it's Five's fault it all. It's his fault that Elliott is dead. Therefore it would only be fair that he paid the price" she said.

The Handler knew that Five would never hurt you, but if you lost control and in the situation you are in now. You could hurt him if you let the witch out and it was coming now.

The Handler had a backup plan and this was it. Making you so angry at Five that you would lose control and let the witch out, killing him, turning you against Five.

"Think about that dear" The Handler said with a smile before she disappeared in a blue light, believing that her plan was working.

Having you kill Five.

"We've got a minute left!" Luther said as he slammed his fist on the dumpster.

"What's going on, guys? Are we going somewhere?" Klaus asked hoarsely, was he was laying on the ground.

"It was a simple task. It was a simple task!" Five said as he walked back and forth aggressive.

"And all we had to do was be here. Didn't have to fight a giant seas monster, no. Any army of mutants? Nein" Five said aggressive.

"I can't believe this" Luther said "It was handed to us on a silver platter" Five said "Could you just moan a little softer?" Klaus said as he sat up "My head is killing me" he said as he put his hands to his ear.

"Listen to me, you useless puke bag, we just blew our chance to save the world!" Five said aggressive.

"Where the fuck is Em, something must have happen to her if she's not here" he said.

Then they heard the briefcase start charging and clicking as the sound echoing around them and Five looked down on the briefcase before he let out a scoff "God damn it" he said annoyed "Shit" he said before he grabbed the briefcase and tossed it into the air.

The three watch as the briefcase disappeared in a soft blue light meaning that their chance of getting home was blown.

"We were that close. That close" Five said with a sigh before he turned around to head back towards the building, scratching the back of his head.

"Now what?" Luther asked "Now nothing, Luther, all right? Make your peace with God" Five said aggressive "What? What about Allison and Vanya?" Luther asked "Screw them both. They should have been here" Five said.

"What about Diego? He's quite a responsbile young man, no?" Klaus asked.

"Where the hell is Em, it don't look like her not showing up" Five said before he angrily and aggressive ran across the alley before kicking a pile of boxes that was standing next to the dumpster.

"Something must have happened to them" Luther said "Screw Diego, all right? Screw everybody! I was better off on my own in the apocalypse" Five said aggressive

"Five!" Luther shouted his name "Come on" he said and Five spun around, looking more aggressive "You know what, Luther? It's every siblings for themself now. How 'bout that?" he asked as he walked towards the back door of the building before slamming the door shut.

Luther looked at Klaus who let out a sigh "Did Five just get meaner?" he asked.

"Klaus, go check on Allison, okay? Make sure she's okay. Find the others and we'll meet back here. I'll handle Five" Luther told him.

Luther followed Five up the stairs, catching up to him "Hey! Five doomsday is coming. We gotta think of a new plan" Luther said "Don't you get it, Luther? It's over, all right? We're already dead" Five said aggressive.

"What is your plan?" Luther asked "I'm gonna try to find Em, and then I'm going to do the unthinkable" Five answered "The hell is that supposed to mean?" Luther asked and Five let out a sigh "I was really hoping it wouldn't come to this" he said "Come to what, Five?" Luther asked.

Then suddenly they heard a scream of anger which caused Five to stop.

"It that sound like...." "Em" Five said before he blinked inside the building.

Five's eyes widened when he saw your back facing him, things around you were floating and your fists had dark red mist-like shapes energy whisps around them.

"Luther don't come up here!" he called out "What why?" Luther called back "Just listen to me!" Five called back.

But Luther didn't listen and he froze when he saw the sight "What the hell" Luther said "Get out of here right now" Five said.

But then you turned around, your eyes were glowing dark red and tears were streaming down your face while dark red mist-like shapes energy whisps was around your hands.

"Talie" Luther said and you snapped your head at him before you lifted up your hands and with your powers you lifted Luther up in mid-air.

"Em" Five said before he slowly took a step closer to you "You shouldn't have come here" you said "What?" Five asked.

"Elliott is fucking dead because of you!" you shouted and Five's eyes widened.

"How do you know that?" he asked "Someone told me. And Elliott's dead because of you! All of you! This is your fault!" you shouted as you raised your free arm up, throwing a chair right at Five but he quickly dodged the object.

"Em" Five said "Get the fuck out" you threw Luther into a wall causing him to grunt in pain before landing on the floor.

"Luther get out of here. I will take care of this" Five said "But--" "Just do it" Five said and Luther nodded before he turned around and left.

Five then look at you "How did you find out?" he asked "Some woman who said that she was your old coworker told me" you said and Five's eyes widened.

"Shit" he mumbled as he knew who it was.

This was The Handler's plan, getting you so angry that you would lose control. She was using you to kill him, 'cause she knew that he would never hurt you.

He broke your innocent heart. He felt horrible. With all the killing and other bad stuff he have done. He've never felt as wicked or more of an ass than he did there.  

"Darling, I get it, you're upset" he said in a calm voice, trying to calm you down "Elliott was a good guy, and he didn't deserve this" he said and you chuckled darkly.

"You're right. He doesn't deserve it. You do" you said before you raised your left arm and used your powers, throwing sharp small objects at him.

Five blinked before he appeared behind you and he then grabbed both of your arm and pulled them towards him while he had his other arm wrapped around your throat "Em, enough. I don't want to fight you" he said.

"Please, don't make me do this"

You moved one of your fingers, moving a book and made it fly towards Five's head.

When it hit Five's head, he let out a grunt in pain, letting go of you.

You turned around but before you could used your powers at him, he blinked away causing you to look around.

Five appeared in front of you before he kicked you in the stomach causing you to fall to the floor.

He would never hurt you but this was getting out of control, so he had to do this.

Beside you two gave each other a promise that was about that if one of you turn evil or lost control, the other would never hold back.

"Emily, it's me" Five said "I'm not Emily anymore. I'm sorry to tell you, but Emily is gone, I have control over her body now and I don't plan on leaving so whatever you and Emily had, it's gone and you will be gone too" you said darkly and Five knew what was going on. The Witch in you have taking over.

"Em, look at me" Five said but you used your powers to throw him away but he blinked in front of you again "LOOK AT ME WHOEVER THE HELL YOU ARE AND LEAVE MY WOMAN ALONE. LEAVE HER BODY!"

Five grabbed onto your hands and held them while looking into your eyes "Em, I know you're in there, you need to fight, please don't let it consume you" he said.

You swept your legs under Five's causing him to fall down on the floor.

You got ready to finish him but then he grabbed that book you threw at him before he hit you in the head with it, mumbling a sorry as he did it.

You winced in pain as you stumbled back "I'm so sorry" he said and you looked at him.

You lunged at Five, your movements fluid and deadly. The sheer speed of your attack left little room for hesitation. Five's reflexes kicked in, and he teleported just in time, reappearing a few feet away with a breathless gasp. His heart pounded in his chest, his mind racing to find a way to get through you.

Dark veins crawled around your eyes, and your eyes, your eyes flowed a deep, unnatural red.

"Emily, damn it! What's gotten into you!" he shouted, his voice a mix of desperation and determination and his eyes locking onto yours with a desperate please "You don't have to do this!"

But your face was unwavering. With a fierce determination in your eyes, you advance again, your strikes precise and relentless.

Without a weapon, you relied solely on your powers, the air around you shimmering as you channeled your abilities.

Five pressed on, his combined effort an attempt to subdue you without causing harm, but your powers made every approach perilous.

As Five lunged at you, his teleportation swift and precise, you raised a hand, your face emotionless.

A sudden wave of energy burst from your palm, hitting Five square in the chest and sending him hurtling backwards.

He crashed into a pile of files, the impact rattling through his body. Groaning, pressed a hand to his ribs, pushing himself up with a grimace.

Despite the pain, his sharp, determined eyes never left yours. He watched every moment, searching for an opening, for some sign of the person he loved still trapped inside.

You moved like a ghost, weaving through his attacks with an almost unnatural grace.

Five blink again, reappearing behind you, but you anticipated his move. A pulse of energy radiated from your body, forcing him to blink away before he could make contact.

He reappeared a few feet away, panting. He blinks in rapid succession, attempting to disorient her.

Without a word, you advanced again, your powers crackling in the air around you. Five blink, appearing behind you, but you spun a blast of energy shooting out from your hand. He dodged just in time, the force grazing his side but missing a direct hit.

Five's feet barely touched the ground as he advanced towards you, his determination unwavering. His eyes were filled with regret, but beneath it lay a resolute anger and sadness. The anger was directed at the situation, at the force that had taken you away from him, turning you into something unrecognizable. And the sadness, an overwhelming sadness was for the love you both shared, now trapped in a fight neither of you had wanted.

"You need to calm down Em. I---" but you cut him off when you used your powers, lifting him up.

Without warning, Five was lifted off the ground, his body hovering in mid-air, and the red psionic energy tightened around his throat.  

He tried to used his powers but it was no use "This would never have happened if you and your siblings didn't came here. I was happy. We were happy. But you destroyed it and now Elliott's dead because of you, so you are gonna pay" you said angry as your eyes were glowing more dark red.

"Listen to me Em" he said "No" you said "Let me talk to you" he said "We are talking" you said "No. I want to talk to the real Emily. I want to talk to my Em, my Natalie, my Nat, not a monster or the witch you are now. The monster and witch that formed from her anger, her sadness and guilt. All negative things formed you that's why you're doing this. Your emotions is out of control" Five said as he was straining in pain.

"Please, I know you're in there Emily. Fight this, I know you can do it. I know you can hear me. Please don't turn into that monster you are scared of. Please Em, this isn't you, you let your powers control you, instead of you controlling them. You are not a monster" he said.

Your eyes twitched, your head tilted a bit to the side and your fist clenched, your powers was holding him tighter. You were actually strangling him with your powers. Which caused him to winced, trying not to scream in pain. You stared at him blankly and numbly as if you didn't care if you hurt or kill him.

"I wouldn't give up on you Emily. I love you too much for that" he said as he was choking a bit.

"I like you Emily and care about you so much, and it may not seem like I do but I really do like you. I'm in love with you. You're everything to me. I don't know what I would do without you. Please come back to me" he said and your eyes widened.

"Kill him. No, not Five. I'm not going to kill him or anyone else that I love. I'm not a monster or a murderer"

You winced in pain, your eyes glitching back and forth, going back to normal and then back to dark red.

"I know you're in there. Please come back to me. I'm here and I'm not leaving" Five said before he let out yours and his secret whistle.

"People deserves to see you as a hero not as a witch or a freak"

"I just hope that you will see yourself as I do and others also will"

He gasped, his hands clawing at his neck, trying to break free from the pressure. His eyes widened in shock and desperation as he fought for breath, but the more he struggled, the tighter your grip became.

The moment your powers seized Five, you felt nothing. Five's eyes locked with yours in desperation, but there was no flicker of recognition in your gaze. His struggle felt distant, almost irrelevant. You tightened your grip, watching as his body contorted, gasping for air, but you felt nothing. Not pity, no regret.

But then as he struggled, something familiar pulled at you from deep within. It was a thread, frayed and weak, but it was there. Your hand trembled, the powers beginning to waver. It was the first sign of something breaking. You felt Five's life slipping away from you and part of you acknowledged that it would be easier if he just stopped fighting. It would be easier to finish. But then his eyes locked onto yours, and the realization hit you like a storm. You were choking him. Five.

You were choking him to death.

"So you'll never hold back on fighting me, if something serious happens? Maybe if one of us turns evil? You won't stop"

A dull, sharp pain filled your head and for the first time in what felt like forever, you felt something. The weight of your actions, the guilty, the confusion.

The room spun, your mind warring against the coldness that had consumed it. You knew who caused this and you were beyond angry.

You gasped for air and eyes widened more before your eyes changed back to normal as you dropped your hand, releasing the grip on Five's throat just in time as his limp body collapsed to the floor barely registered in your mind.

You stumbled back before falling to the floor, your hands underneath your head.

"What did I do?"

Five groaned as he pushed himself up, still gasping for air, but you didn't look at him.

He gasped, his breath still ragged as he fought to steady himself.

He looked up to see you had her hands on the side of your head. You swayed, your knees buckling beneath you, struggling to stay upright.

Your gaze was distant, lost in the chaos inside your mind. You dropped to your knees, shaking uncontrollably.

When Five have gotten his breath back, he looked at you before he slowly approached you but you moved away from him "No. Please, stay away from me! I....I hurt you. I almost killed you!" you said as you kept gasping while panting.

"It's okay, Darling. I'm fine" he said "No!" you said as you shook your head "Reginald was right, I'm dangerous, I...I---could have killed you, I was killing you slowly, and I...." you said as you kept gasping while tears was running down from your eyes.

"Love, you didn't kill me and that's what matters" he said "Please Five, just leave me" you said "No, I would never leave you" he said "I hurt you" you said "I'm fine okay" he moved closer to you but you moved away from him.

"Five, please, don't, stay away from me. If this doesn't raise the red flags, makes you scared of me or seeing me as a monster, you're crazy" you said "I understand, you were grieving, angry and sad. Your emotions were high, so you lost control" he said calm "And that woman's name was The Handler and she is evil. This was her plan, use you to kill me. She got into your head" he said.

"That is no excuse, Five. And me having amnesia is also no excuse!" you gasp.

"You still don't remember anything?" he asked and you shook your head.

Luther then came inside to see Five crouched down in front of you "I came up here to see if everything is okay?" he asked "How can it be okay. I'm a grenade, a walking ticking bomb. I'm a monster, a witch. I have amnesia. So I'm not okay" you gasp while panting.

"You're not a monster, Em" Five said "Yeah, I am" you said as your whole body shook.

"You're scared" he said "Yeah, I'm scared of myself" you said "No. You're scared in remembering" he said and you stared at him in disbelief "What?" you asked.

"I noticed how you remember the little things that made you happy. You told me about it, remember" Five said and you nodded.

"But when we told you about your traumatic past, you couldn't remember. So you're scared of remember the memories being real and true" Five said.

"I'm not scared of that. I really want to remember" you said "I know. But maybe it's because you don't know you're scared. Em, we can't progress if you're scared of remembering. And dad was right about that, your mind don't want to remember because you are scared" he said.

"I'm here" Five reached out, his fingers trembling slightly as he grasped your hand, trying to steady you as well.

But as soon as his skin made contact with yours, something shifted. His body suddenly tensed, and his eyes rolled back into his head, his entire form arching involuntarily as an unseen force gripped him. The bright red glow flared from his eyes, like fire burning through the dark.

In an instant, he felt himself being pulled from his body. The world around him dissolved into shadow, leaving nothing but a cold, dark void. His heart pounded in his chest as he looked around, confusion clouding his thoughts. He tried to make sense of what was happening.

Was this another new side of his powers?

Had he gained some new power he hadn't known about?

He walked through the shadowy expanse, the air thick with the sense of something lost, something forgotten.

His footsteps echoed in the stillness until he noticed a figure ahead of him. The figure turned slowly towards him as if seeing his presence. It was you, but not the same he had seen moments ago, not the one the witch was controlling. Not the one wracked with pain and struggling to keep control. This was a softer, calmer version of you, the same person he fell in love with, the real you, his Natalie.

"Five?" the real you gasped, your voice full of wonder and relief "You're alive...and you're here" you smiled.

Five took a step towards you, reaching out a hand.

But before he could touch you, an overwhelming sensation overtook him. His body jerked back and the next thing he knew, he was no longer in that dark place. He gasped, his lungs desperate for air as he was thrust back into the real world. He blinked rapidly, trying to regain bearings.

The faint pulse of your energy still clung to him as his mind raced to process everything he had just seen.

His eyes fell on you, still kneeling on the floor, groaning in pain as you fought to regain control.

"Are you okay?" Luther's voice cut through the fog in Five's mind. He was standing close by, concern written all over his face "I pulled you away. You were...you weren't yourself"

 Five couldn't answer, though, his eyes were only on you, he could see you were fighting to keep in control.

"I want to progress, but I don't know if I can. I don't know if I will ever remember" you said "Okay, I have being thinking about a way and I think I have come up on something that can made you remember. But I need you to listen to me, okay. Do you trust me?" he asked and you nodded.

"Close your eyes" he said "What?" you asked "Trust me on this. I know a way, please trust me" he said and you nodded before you closed your eyes.

"I will guide you through memories. Like, a stairwell. The steps take you down through one year of your life to the next. That's how I regress you back" he said before he took a deep breath.

"Imagine you're in an empty dark soundproof cage. There is drawing hanging all around the wall. Just try to imagine standing there. That's where your memories are. Everything that's ever happened to you. They're all in each separate drawings. Emily, you're there. You are standing in there now" he said and you opened your eyes and you imagine that you were standing in an empty dark soundproof cage with drawings hanging on the walls around you.

Your eyes were still closed but inside your mind, you were walking around the room, your fingertips softly touching the door.

"Are you there?" you heard Five's voice echoing "I'm there" you said "Alright, focus on each one of the drawings" his voice echoing.

You walked over to one of the drawing that was a drawing of a house and you put your hands on it to find memories with your mom which cause you to smile.

"I bet there is a guy outside just waiting for you. You are gonna changed him and he is gonna changed you and that love you will feel for that guy, is gonna be so strong that he will be your anchor. You will probably also become his anchor. He might need you just as much as you need him"

You then walked put your hand on another paiting that was a drawing of a group of seven kids.

"Children" he said and seven kids all your age turned to him "Dad, who is this" one of the boys asked "This is Natalie and she is gonna stay here. She is not a member of the family or the team and she is not gonna live here, but she is gonna train with us" Reginald said and the seven kids ran over to you causing you to take a step back, 'cause you were a shy girl.

"Oh great. Another girl in the house" a boy that was holding a knife said.

"Hello, Natalie, I'm Number Three. But you can call me Allison" a girl with curly hair said "Hello Natalie, nice to finally meet you, I'm Number Seven, but you can call me Vanya" the other girl said as she shook your hand.

"Hello Natalie, I'm Number Four, but you call me Klaus" one of the boys said.

"I'm Number Six, but you can call me Ben" another boy said.

"I'm Number One, but you can call me Luther" another boy said.

"I'm Number Two, but you can call me Diego" the boy with the knife said as you shook their hands.

You then looked at the last boy, he had short dark brown hair that almost looked back and the most beautiful soft warm green eyes you have ever seen.

"I'm Number Five, but you can call me Five" he said as he stretched his arm towards you "Hello, I'm Natalie Eversun" you said as you shook his hand.

As soon as your hands touch, you both felt warm and it was like an electric went through your bodies, it was like puzzle pieces finally put together, two magnets connecting.

"Five has a crush" Klaus said with a smile and Five quickly pull his hand back "No I don't" he spat at his brother.

"Five and Natalie sitting in a tree" Klaus sang before he started walking away causing both you and Five to blush a bit.

"Welcome to the circus Natalie" Ben said and you smiled "Don't worry. You don't have to be scared, we're all here for each other" Allison said and you smiled.

"I remember us meeting for the first time" you said and Five smiled "Alright keep going. Remember I'm here Em, you are not alone, I'm right here" he said and you put your hand on a drawing of a bording school and it showed your time with Toby and Sabrina.

You then put your hand on a drawing of a college and it showed your time there, but then it also showed you losing control which 'cause a tear to fell from your eyes.

You put your hand on another drawing but it also showed a painful memory.

You then put your hand on a painting that was a drawing of the Academy.

It showed you killing some people and Reginald putting you in a cage.

"I can't believe that he didn't put something in here, not even a painting, a chair, a couch, or even a bed"

"You were in the room with me" you said "Yeah, I was" he said "You would stay in the room with me, keep me company, hiding from Reginald. You would always blink inside when Reginald was finally gone and you would just talk" you said and he nodded.

"I promise you that, no matter what happens, I will keep you safe and I wouldn't let anything happen to you, ever. I will protect you. I will never leave you or forget you, I will always be here for you and I will never see you as a monster, or a freak, or a weirdo or a witch. I promise"

"When I look at you, I see nothing dangerous or evil. I see goodness, strength, intelligent and beauty" he said "Do you really think so?" you asked and he nodded "Yeah, of course" he said "I guess you are right then" you said "Of course I am. You're amazing just the way you are. You make me smile every time I see you and I can't get enough of your beautiful eyes and your lovely laugh. You light up my world like nobody else, and I hope you never change"

"You're my favorite pillow"

"You are the bravest, strongest, smarted, funniest, coolest and the most beautiful girl I have ever know and you can overcome everything if you just believe in yourself. Make your fear afraid of you"

"There isn't anymore drawings that I haven't touch left" you said "That's good, now comes the ending" he said before he took a deep breath.

"Em. I need you to open the door and walk down the dark hallway" he said "I can't" you said "Yeah, you can, I know you are scared of the dark, but you have to fight through that fear and keep going, remember what we talk about in the room" he said and you took a deep breath before you put your hand on the handle and opened it.

"It's open, but the hallways it's too dark" you said "Go through it" he said "I can't, it's too dark" you said "It's because it's all your painful memories" he said.

I'm not like you. You have no weakness" you said "That's where you are wrong" he said and you looked at him "I have weakness" he said "What?" you asked "My siblings. But do you know what my biggest weakness is?" he asked and you shook your head "Its you" he said and your eyes widened.

"Why and how I'm I your weakness?" you asked "Cause I care about you more than no one else. I can't handle see you hurt or in pain. I can't think when I'm not around you, I think about you everyday, all the time. Whenever you leave, I feel a part of me leaving too. Whenever you get yourself in danger, you worry me, all the time. If something happen to you or if I lose you, I don't know what to do with myself" he said and you tilted your head "If you die, I will lose my mind" he said "You're not gonna lose me and I'm not gonna die. Beside I feel the same about you. If I lost you, I don't know want I will do. I will lose my mind" you said and he smiled.

"You are still gonna stay with me for a while right?" you asked "Of course" he said before he looked around "I get it why you don't like this place" he said "Why?" you asked "Its dark and empty and is soundproof" he said before he looked at you.

He then wrapped his arm around you before he pulled you closer to him "I know you're scared of being alone Nat. But you're not. You never will be. I'll be here whenever dad puts you in here and whenever you need me. I will be here for you. You will always have me" he said "And you will always have me too, cause I'm not going to leave you. You will probably get sick of me way before I get sick of you" you said "I doubt that. I will never get sick of you" he said and you smiled.

"Thank you. For being you" you said as you rested your head on his shoulder "Anything for you" he said before he rested his head on top of yours.

"Going through that dark hallway means you're letting those memories stay in your brain. Going through the hallway is the key to reveal your memories. Go through it Em. Remember I'm your Jumpy Guy, your Coffee Boy, your Short Pants, your Pretty Boy, your Fivey. I'm here and I'm not leaving" he said.

"I will never replace you Nat, or forget you. I will always be here for you. And I will always be your Fivey, Coffee Boy, Jumpy Guy, Short Pants and Pretty Boy. Always"

"Don't worry, don't be scared, I'm here and I'm not going anywhere. I'm right here. I'm here. We are all here for you Em" Five said as he grabbed your hand, his thumb brushing the top of your hands.

"You gotta be strong. I know you're strong. That is the only way to overcome your fear. That's the only way to get out of here. To fight"

You took a deep breath before you took some steps forward, even so you were afraid of the dark, you started walking forward as Five's words about not giving up, about you being strong, about keep fighting kept repeating in your mind.

"Your minds are like a door, and sometimes to unlock some memories it will take a powerful will to accomplish that. So if you truly wish to remember you have to have a powerful will, then allow yourself to enter the deepest parts of your mind. It may need a trigger for you to do this"

"So I need a key to trigger it or at least unlock that door where my memories is?"

"And sometimes the key can be a person, if most of those memories you are with someone, someone who have a strong connection to you. Kind of a emotional tether" "Like an invisible thread?" "They can be the key to unlock your memories"

Then suddenly you found yourself in a dark red place which causing you to look around confused.

"Em" Five said as he looked at you when he notice that your pupils were glowing dark red "Em" Five said as he shook you, but you didn't reacted "Nat"

"Hello little one" a voice said and you turned around to see another version of you. This was the witch side of you.

"Missed me" she said with an evil smile "Go away" you said before you turned around but then she used her powers against you, grabbing your leg causing you to fall on the ground and she started dragging you across the ground.

You let out a scream as you tried to resist but it didn't work and you were pressed against a pillar while some dark red branches wrapped around your legs, arms and neck.

The witch walked closer to you with an evil smile, you looked behind the witch to see that farther behind was a small gate where you could see yourself sitting on the floor while Five was trying to get you to wake up.

The witch looked over her shoulder to see the gate "He can't help you anymore" she said before she looked at you. "You belong here" she said with a smile "Le me take over" she said before she put two of her fingers on your temple.

Your body started floating up in the air which caused Five to fall backwards as his eyes follow you up.

"What the hell?" Luther asked as both him and Five was looking at your body floating in mid-air.

"What is going on?" Luther asked "I have no idea" Five said before he got up "EM, CAN YOU HEAR ME. EM!" he called out.

You opened your eyes to look back at the gate again and more happy memories started appearing as you closed your eyes.

You looked behind you to see the witch looking at you before she clenched her fist causing rocks to fall down around you.

You kept running towards the gate as rocks and ruins felled down around you, trying to hit you or make you fall.

But everytime you fell, you quickly got up again while avoiding some of the rocks.

You saw as the gate come closer and closer.

You remember the time you stole Five's sandwich and he tickled you.

"Five, stop it" you said as you kept laughing "First when you tell me that you're sorry and that you yield " he said as he kept tickling you "Never" you laughed "Then I will never stop" he said as he kept tickling you making you to laugh even more causing tears to appear in your eyes.

Five then moved his hand to your arm pit "No, no. Five. Not there" you said but he just smiled before he started tickling you there, cause he knew that you hate being tickling there.

"Okay, okay. I give up, you win" you laugh and Five stopped before you started panting.

You then turned her head to look at him "I hate you so much" you said and he smiled "I hate you too" he said and you smiled as the two of you stared into each other's eyes.

"Promise me that you will never leave me" you said "I promise and I promise when I leave this place, I will take you with me. I will take you with me if I ever decide to time travel, I will take you with me. I will never leave you alone, I promise" he said and you lifted your right hand and put it on his left cheek.

You ignored the pain and your fear as you kept running and you could see some light at the end.

"I know that is a lot to ask, but....You wanna...go...out?" "With you?" "Sorry, I have never tried asking someone out before. I have being practicing about asking you out since we were 12 and I have being practicing for a year, but then all shit happen and now I have forgotten how to ask you out?"

I mean I hurt and lost Toby and Sabrina and I can't handle lose you too" "What happen to them wasn't your fault and I promise I'm gonna be here all the way, no matter what. "Five, I'm scared of hurting you" "You wouldn't hurt me--" "You don't know that...Everyone loses control eventually...And I'm scared that these powers I had will hurt you" "That wouldn't happen. Then suddenly it was like shots of your whole life was flashing through your mind like a movie, your mom, your friends. When you were experimented on. The moment you met The Hargreeves The moment you met Five. Your first meeting, him blinking the two of you around. You teasing the other siblings with Klaus, your first kiss with Toby, You watching the stars and sunset with Five sometimes. Your loving moments together with Five, his siblings, with your mom, with Toby and Sabrina.

You felt the pain of you being experimented on, you remember killing people, you losing control. You felt the needles piercing your skin.

You remember the look in Five's eyes when he saw you again. The dots began to connect with every word, sentence, events.

You let out a cry as you reach the gate, and it was like a door opened for you.

You opened your eyes with a gasp, finally out from your mind and finally free from the witch and all of your memories had finally came back.

Your body then fell down from the air before landing on the floor and you started gasping.

"What is happening?" Luther asked.

Five couldn't answer, though, because at that moment, you screamed. The sound was full of agony and torment, echoing through the space like a final cry for help. But then just as quickly as it had begun, the scream was cut off, muffled as though it had been swallowed up. Five and Luther watched as you collapsed forward slightly, your body shaking. Your eyes flickered shut, then reopened slowly, as if the effort was too much. Your gaze found Five, then Luther, but your expression distant, pained.

Your gaze locked onto Five, still keeping your distance from the, but your eyes softened as you met Five's worried gaze. The change in your eyes didn't escape Five's notice, no longer the glowing red, but the familiar color that he'd known.

You saw Luther with a smile on his face and you then saw Five crouching down in front of you. "Emily?" he asked.

"Emily" Five called out softly, his voice barely above a whisper, like he didn't fully believe what he was seeing.

You weren't Emily anymore. Emily was only a figment of your mind that protected you, but you felt Emily saying goodbye to you as she left your body and mind. Leaving it unlocked for you in your sorrowful farewell.

"Emily" Five said again and you looked at him.

You nodded slowly, pain evident on your face. The calm in your eyes shifted as another wave of agony hit.

Five's face softened, and a storm of emotions swirling in his eyes. Without a second thought, his hands reach up to gently cup your face. The warmth of his touch felt like a lifeline in the chaos of your mind, and it only made the conflict inside you more intense.

There was a spark in your eyes that caught his attention. Your Y/e/c eyes were always the most beautiful thing he's ever seen, beside your smile, but the spark it was a warm look that always told him that you were right here.

The spark in your eyes remind him of the stars, like they have always do.

He decided that if his own fate, if it even existed hanged in the stars. Those stars were in the eyes of you. All he saw was you, he saw the fullness of you. It was your eyes, smile, words and mind. He could stare at you forever.

Five had accepted that Natalie was gone, and instead he'd love Emily. Not as Natalie but as Emily because no matter your name, he loved, loves you. He'd never let you go, no matter what happened or who you were.

Natalie was gone. It wasn't possible. Or was it? It would have to take a....

You only chuckled lightly before smiling as you let out a secret whistle which caused him to smile and he respond back with the same whistle, knowing that you remember now.

"An anchor is someone or something you care a lot about more than anything and anyone else. It work better if the anchor is a person. That person is someone who want to protect with your life, someone who can pull you back from the darkness. Someone who have a strong connection to you. Someone who is important to you, someone you love "

"My name is Natalie Eversun, and I remember everything" you said and Five smiled.

Five wasn't an emotional person, hardly so, but you remembering again make him crack.

"See, I told you, you're strong" he said "So are you" you said "'Cause you're also my strength. You make me weak too. You both make me strong and weak every day" he said and he wrapped his arms around you "Thank you Five" you said as some tears rolled down from your eyes.

The world seemed to stop at that moment, your eyes widened in surprise but just as quickly you hugged him back ,feeling the familiar warmth of his arms around yours. Another tear slipped down your cheek, and you grasped his back, holding on tightly as though afraid to let go. You savored it, holding onto the love you shared.

When he pulled away, his forehead leaned against yours, his breath heavy with the same desperation you felt.

Tears started welling up in your eyes as you said goodbye to the once peaceful mind you knew and entered the void of everything you were hiding from.

You didn't noticed that you were crying, sobbing as Five brought you closer to him, wishing he could stop it. But you weren't crying out of fear or pain. You were crying because you were mourning. Mourning yourself, the pain you went through, the fear and anger festered in you and how much you have left Five. You mourned your entire life.

This was the cost of being Natalie Eversun.

Five wasn't an emotional person, hardly so, but you remembering again make him crack. He pulled his Natalie in and hugged you as if he never tought he'd see you again. He just cried out your name over and over again in a small whispered almost if he believe if he spoke too loud you would disappear.

You held him too, joining his sobs. You had both been broken by each other, not on purpose, never on purpose, but your small words and tears had begun to heal whatever it was that broke you both.

Your hands went to his hair and ran a hand through it, your fingers entwining with the soft pieces. His hands went to your back and your neck, pulling you incredibly closer than before. Scared that if he let go of you, you would disappear.

The two of you are forever in that moment.

What you and Five had was incomparable to any connection made by friends, foes, lovers and companions. You were the best lovers in any time.

If your castle crumbled overnight, you and Five would rebuilt every time your arrival.

You smiled as you hugged him tighter. You felt safe in his arms. He is your safe place.

There was a cost of being Natalie Eversun and how wonderful the reward was.

The world faded away, every star in the sky hid away, the only thing left was the two souls that had been made to be together.

If you didn't know Five so much, you wouldn't have notice his blush nor would you have notice that the end of his ears turned red although they were covered by his black hair.

And if he could bring himself to, he would go back in time and give you what you wanted. But he couldn't. He had believe you were dead once, hold your dead body in his arms, watch you die and he refused a second time to that to happen. It was love that drove him to move the clock of time forward and backwards in order to please you. It was love that had him plastered on the word 'no'. He wouldn't do it. And it was because of love.

He want to grow old with you. He want to marry you. He want move to the ocean or countryside with you. He would be there at your graduation. He would support you through your career you choose. He would watch you sleep on slow morning and see you woke up in the middle of the night. Be the shoulder for you to cry on. He want to spend the rest of his life with you. Your lives was there now. And he only wished that you, as long as the rest of his family would accept it sooner.

Five felt happiness running through his body, sitting in front of you, looking at you, touching you, making him feel whole and happy again, he had missed you so much and you have missed him too.

Five would make sure that nothing would ever happen to you again.

You looked into each other's eyes. You were just as happy to be with him again as he was.

Because if there was one thing he would not do again it would be to lose so much of life. He was never going to lose you again.

"I'm sorry" you whispered as you hugged again.

"It's okay. I'm just glad you are okay and that you are back" he said as he put his left hand behind your head before started humming which caused you to smile.

He then pulled away from he stroke his finger gently down your cheek as he looked at you with loving eyes. A little worried that this was just a dream.

Five then looked at Luther "Wake her or lay a finger on her and I will kill you" he threated before he walked into one of the bedroom and closed the door, to think about another plan to get back home.
