CHAPTER EIGHTEEN: MEMORIES AWAKENING

After have being in one of the many bathrooms, thinking while trying to control yourself. You put your hands by the sink before you look yourself into the mirror.

"I have to remember" you said before you took a deep breath.

You had to remember everything, you want to remember everything and Allison was the only one that could help you with that. So you have to find her and you knew where she was going.

You walked out of the bathroom before going towards the front door.

"Miss Natalie" a voice said and you turned around to see Pogo "I'm sorry about before" you said "It's okay. You were emotional and your emotions are connected to your powers. So nothing to be sorry for, I should have told you the truth earlier" he said.

"I could see that telepathy was one of my powers, is that true?" you asked and he nodded "Why can't I control it?" you asked "You can, your powers are kind of reloading right now and they are not fully done yet. So from now on you need to focus. And for the telepathy, you have to control to pick who you want to hear" he said "That's good, 'cause I don't want to hear everyone thoughts, I will just lose my mind and freak out" you said before you took a deep breath.

"Why do I keep having a flashback about me killing someone?" you asked.

"I heard a rumor....that you forgot you killed those people"

"Oh my good" you said as your eyes widened while your brain and mind started hurting a bit as your vision became fuzzy and blurry.

"Allison rumored me" you said "She had no choice, Reginald forced her. You were badly injured on that mission when you were trying to protect Five and his siblings. And when you woke up Reginald knew you would freak out and lose control when you found out that you killed those people, so he forced Allison to rumor you and the rest of the kids into forgetting that you ever killed those people and you were just hurt 'cause something went wrong. He did it to keep you and everyone safe" Pogo said before he took a deep breath.

"As you grow older, you were having problems controlling your powers. It was as if your powers were uncontrollable, and when you went on another mission you accidentally killed again and Reginald was scared that you would end up hurting the kids. So to keep your training and to avoid trauma, Reginald forced Allison to made you forget that you killed those people" he said "And she also rumored the others?" you asked and he nodded.

"When she rumored you into forgetting about Five and the others, it was too much for your brain. It got damaged 'cause it was so many memories" he said and you looked down "So the doctors lied, my brain is fucked became of what Allison did" you said "Only half of it, the rest is from the accident at the college" he said.

"I want to remember" you said "Are you sure?" he asked "I want to remember everything" you said "Be careful, all that your mind and head had being through there might be bad side affect. Just make sure your head don't get hit too much" he said "Why?" you asked "'Cause if it gets hit too much, you can lose your memories. The damage gets worse because of the trauma you have been through and the experiment Reginald did to you. It was all too much to process that your brain is getting messed up. So make sure that it don't get too damaged" he said and you nodded "So be careful" he said "I will" you said before you walked out the door.

When Five have changed into his umbrella suit, he walked into Klaus' room.

"Hey. Get up. We're going" Five said as he entered the room. Klaus was laying in his bed doing something with a string and two sticks.

"Where?" Klaus asked "To save the world" Five said "Oh, is that all? Great" Klaus said before he sat up on the bed.

"So, Pogo said Dad killed himself to get us all back together, right?" Five asked as he was walking back and forth in the room "Yeah, so?" Klaus asked as he was getting dress "So it got me thinking. I had to jump to the future to figure out when it happened, but Dad, he can't time travel. So how'd the crazy bastard actually know to kill himself a week before the end of the world?" Five asked "Well, you know..." "Don't answer. That was purely rhetorical" Five said cutting Klaus off as he was pointing his finger at him while Klaus gave him a look.

"Truth is, our whole lives, he's been telling us we'd save the world from an impending apocalypse" Five said "Yeah, but I always thought he just said that to scare us into doing the dishes" Klaus said as he put on his shoes "Me too. But what if the old man really knew it was going to happen?" Five said "Yeah, but knew how?" Klaus asked "No idea. But the fact remains his fakakta plan worked. We all came home. Since we're here we might as well save the world" Five said "Oh, yeah? What, like the two of us?" Klaus asked "Uh, well, ideally, no, but...gotta work what I've got" Five said as they walked out of Klaus's room "What about Natalie?" Klaus asked "She went to find Allison, so she could help her" Five said.

"I would have hope she was with us, then you would have being a little less grumpy" Klaus said which made Five rolled his eyes "Deny it all you want, everyone can see that you are over the heel for her" Klaus said "You couldn't be more wrong" Five said but Klaus could see that his brother had feeling for you, or more like it, he was in love with you.     

Then they heard the sound of running footsteps and someone grunting and they saw Diego came running towards his room.

"Where have you been?" Five asked "Jail. Long story" Diego said as he rush into his room "Long story. Where's Luther?" he asked "Haven't seen him since breakfast" Five said "Yeah. Two days until the world ends, he picks a great time to drop off the grid" Klaus said "Shit. Allison is in danger" Diego said causing Five and Klaus to look at each other.

"Shit, Natalie is going with Allison" Five said before he walked passed the others "Where are you going?" Klaus asked "To Natalie, she is gonna get hurt" Five said "Don't worry Five, Natalie is a strong person, she can handle herself" Klaus said "He's right, let's go get Luther first" Diego said.

Five, Diego and Klaus quickly found Luther sitting in a bar "Look" Klaus said as soon as they enter the bar and spotted Luther sitting by a table drinking.

"Trying a little hair of the dog, are we? Hm?" Klaus asked as they walked over to him "Leave me alone" Luther said, looking down at his drink.

"Give us a minute" Diego said as he took a seat next to Luther.

"Okay. Come on. Maybe they'll brood each other to death" Klaus said before him and Five walked over to another table, giving the two some space to talk.

"Look, Dad was wrong to lie to you. To all of us" Diego said "Look, I did my time. All right? Four years up there, watching and waiting because he said the world needed me. Four years of nothing but soy paste and processed air because I was naive enough to believe that dads don't lie to their kids. But guess what? The joke's on me. I'm done. With all of it. With him. With you. With this family. You wanna save the world, you go right ahead. I'm fine to sit here and finish my beer and...get my...buzz on" Luther said.

Five looked at Klaus who trapped his wrist impatiently saying that they needed to hurry.

"Trust me Klaus I know. Beside I shouldn't even be here, I should be out there with Natalie" Five said "Don't worry, she can handle herself" Klaus said before he scanned Five up and down.

"Oh my god, you are in love with her" Five snapped his head at Klaus "No, I'm not" he said "Oh, come on. I've seen the sexually tension between the two of you" Klaus said and Five rolled his eyes.

"I don't have feeling for her, beside even if I did, she wouldn't have feelings for or love someone like me" Five said "I think you would be surprise" Klaus said.  

"You should have led with that. Jesus Christ" Luther suddenly said before slamming his hands on the table.

Luther then got up from the chair before rushing outside, towards the car with the others right behind him.

Five blink to the driver seat "Why do you get to drive?" Luther asked "Hey. It's not just you that is worried. So am I" Five hissed "And if you are not happy about me driving, you are more than welcome to find another car to drive or walk" he snapped before he got into the diver seat.

"What is wrong with him?" Luther asked "He is in love" Klaus whispered to him which caused Luther to glance at Klaus "You are not the only one that is worried about the woman you love" he said.

"Are you guys coming or do you three rather walk!" Five called out to them and the three got in before Five started the car and drove as fast as speed limit allow.

You stepped out of the cap when it arrived at the cabin, you gave the cap driver some money and he drove away.

"Allison!" you called out as you saw Allison walking towards the cabin.

She turned around "Natalie. What are you doing here?" she asked as she stepped closer to you "I came to help and also 'cause I know" you said and she raised a brow "Pogo told me everything, beside some of it are coming back now" you said and her eyes widened "You rumored me multiple times, and what worse is that you rumored me and the others into forgetting that I have ever know them. My mind and brain is messed up 'cause of all the rumor" you said and Allison's face felled "I can explain" she started "I had no choice Natalie, and I regretted it the second I did it. I---" "It's okay, Allison, I'm not mad at you, I understand. Reginald forced you" you said before you took a deep breath.

"But if you are really sorry then I wanted you to rumor me into remembering again" you said and her eyes widened "Talie, that is dangerous. So many memories coming back to you at the same time---" "I know, Pogo told me, I just have to made sure that my head or brain don't get too much damaged" you said before you looked up at Allison "I really want to remember it all Allison. Everything. Please, if you really feel sorry, do this for me" you said.

"Okay" she said before she took a deep breath "I'm ready" you said as you took another step closer to her.

"I heard a rumor....that you remember everything from the age of five to 13" she said, her voice echoing and an energy wave travled out of her mouth and into your ears.

As her powers hit you, your eyes glow white and you remember everything, right from when you arrived at the Academy, meeting Five and his siblings. All your moments with them. You killing those people, your time with Five. Everything came back to you. The memories was flashing through your mind like a movie until they stopped.

Your eyes then changed back to normal and you blinked a few times with your eyes before looking down.

"Talie?" Allison asked and you looked up at her with a smile before you wrapped your arms around her "I remember everything now. I have missed you Allison. I'm not mad at you. I'm saying thank you" you said and Allison smiled as she gave you a quick hug before you two pull back.

"Don't worry I will make the others remember, but first we need to get Vanya and as soon as we have gotten her away from Harold, I will rumor Five and then the rest into remembering you again" she said and you nodded.

"Come on" Allison said and you two walked up to the porch, you noticed that the wind was blowing so much that the lamps above you was swinging back and forth, rocking chairs were rocking back and forth violently while the wind chimes were going crazy.

"Vanya" you called out "Vanya? Is that you?" Allison shouted over the wind.

When there were no respons, Allison grabbed the door knob before opening the door, walking inside with you behind her.

As you entered you two spotted Vanya standing in the middle of the room playing on her violin, her back facing you while chairs and lights was moving.

You and Allison noticed that the lamps swing back and forth.

"Vanya, there you are" Allison said loudly causing Vanya to stop playing before she turned around to look at you and Allison "What is going on?" Allison asked and you almost jumped when the door slammed behind you.

"What are you two doing here?" Vanya asked "We came to find you. Are you okay?" Allison asked "Yeah" Vanya answered "There's something...weird going on. What's causing it?" Allison asked as she was looking around the cabin while there was the sound of insects chirping.

"Me" Vanya answered and Allison tilted her head before taking some steps towards Vanya "What do you mean 'me'?" she asked "I mean...I made those things happen" Vanya said and Allison looked around the cabin again "With my powers" Vanya said and you and Allison looked back at her "Turn out I've had them all this time. It's weird, huh?" Vanya asked and Allison let out a small gasp "It's in--it's incredible" she said "You have powers. I knew it" you said with a smile.

You then wrapped your arms around Vanya before you put a finger on her temple and her eyes glow red as you woke up her memories with you.

Vanya's eyes turned back to normal before looking at you with widened eyes "Oh my god Tilly" she said before she hugged you "I missed you" she said "I missed you too. Don't be mad at Allison, but mad at Reginald, he forced her, you, me and the others to forget that we ever knew each other" you said and Vanya nodded.

The two of you then pulled away "It's good to have you back Tilly" she said "It's good to be back" you said and the two of you smiled to each other.

Vanya then looked at Allison as you took a step back "What is it, Allison?" she asked "Ca--Can we do this in the car?" Allison asked "Why?" Vanya asked and Allison let out a sigh "You're not gonna want to hear it" she said "Well, that's never stopped you before" Vanya said and Allison nodded before she took a deep breath and let out a sigh.

"Leonard Peabody? His real name is Harold Jenkins" you said and Vanya looked at you "What?" Vanya asked "He had used a fake name to fool you, he is a bad guy" you said.

"She's right. Remember when I couldn't find anything in the library on Leonard? It's because Leonard Peabody doesn't exist. Harold Jenkins does. He was in prison for 12 years. He murdered his father when he was 13" Allison said "This is...insane. His dad was an engineer at the--" "I have a police report in the car, Vanya, I can show you" Allison said, cutting her off.

"I saw the police report too. He is a bad guy here, Vanny. You have to believe us" you said and Vanya looked at you.

"He's been manipulated you, Vanya. Everything he's done, everything he's told you, it's all been a lie. He's dangerous" you said.

"I don't...I don't understand" Vanya said, shaking her head while Allison and you took a couple more steps closer to her "Leonard, Harold, I--I know it doesn't make any sense, and I know it sounds crazy, but we were in his house" Allison said "She is right, he had picture of the whole Umbrella Academy with their eyes gouged out. He has a murder shrine for the Umbrella Academy" you said "How do you know?" Vanya asked "We were in his house" you said "You trespassed his house?" she asked "Vanny, listen to us. He has a murder shrine on the Umbrella Academy. He is crazy and a psycho, and that is way worse than trespassing" you said.

"Wh--What? I--" Vanya said "We promise we will tell you everything in the car, but it is not safe here" Allison said, grabbing her arm lightly and pulled her a few feet towards the door.

"No, stop" Vanya said, pulling away before she sat down on a chair as she let out a sigh and Allison crouched down in front of her.

"Look, um...I can't imagine how hard it is for you to hear this...how you feel right now, but I...I love you, and I--I just...I wanna be here for you, as your sister. And Talie. She want to be there for you too. You remember her now. She is like a sister to us" Allison said "I wanna be here as your sister, Vanny" you said.

"There's just no way" Vanya said as she looked down on the floor "I love him" she said as she looked back at Allison.

"This just doesn't make any sense" she said as she put her hands on her head "And this power...I--I don't know. I don't know what's going on" she said almost crying while she moved her hands away from her head before putting her fingers on her forehead "I don't know what to do" she said, covering her mouth with her hand.

"Vanny" you said as you wrapped your arms around Vanya.

You understand how Vanya was feeling right now, finding out you have powers after being told your whole life that you are ordinary and then someone you love turn out to be bad. Someone you trust are just using you, manipulating you, it was too much to take in.

"I understand now" Allison said causing Vanya to look at her "When we were four, Dad told us you were sick. You had to be isolated. We were so young. None of us knew to question it. But then he asked me to do something I never understood...until now. He made me an accomplice" Allison said while she looked down in sadness as she think back to the time where their dad forced her to rumor Vanya into thinking that she didn't had any powers.

"I heard a rumor...you think you're just ordinary"

"You rumored her" you said in shock.

"You did this to me?" Vanya asked "I...I...I didn't realize" Allison said "You knew this whole time? That I had powers?" Vanya said angry as she stood up from the chair.

"No, no!" Allison said as she stood up "I didn't really understand until I came today, until I saw it" she said and Vanya turned around to look at her.

"Please, we don't need a fight right now, we need to leave" you said as you were trying to calm them down but they didn't listen.

You could easily used your powers on them, but you choose not to, 'cause you were not that kind of a person.

Vanya then turned to you "Did you know about it too? All this time?" she asked "No, I didn't even knew you at that time" you said before you took a step closer to her.

"Listen Vanny, I'm just as surprised as you are. And if I knew about it, I would of course have told you, you know me" you said and Vanya looked back at Allison.

"Well, now it all makes sense. This is why you never wanted me around" Vanya said "What? No!" Allison said "You couldn't risk me threatening your place in the house, your--your dominance" Vanya said "That is not true" Allison said "You couldn't handle the face that Dad might find me special. I bet you were also glad when Tilly stop visiting us" Vanya said, raising her voice.

"Leonard is using you Vanya. He somehow know about your powers and he hate your siblings and therefore he want to manipulate you into killing them for him. He is the villain here. Not us. We are trying to help you" you said "Stop taking her side, Tilly!" Vanya shouted at you "I'm not taking any sides" you said "Why are you defending her? I mean she rumored you too" Vanya said "Reginald forced her. And she rumored me multiple times. She never liked it, but it was Reginald's orders" you said.

"You are special, with or without powers" Allison said "Don't--Don't say that!" Vanya said "We have a chance to start over" Allison said "You destroyed my life! You destroyed Tilly's life, tearing her and Five away from each other when they could have had that happy life together that they deserve!" Vanya shouted at her.

"Calm down" you said "Calm down?" Vanya looked ar you "Do you have any idea what I've been through, Tilly. No you don't?" she said "Vanya she was four. She didn't knew any better" you said.

"Oh, please, Vanya. Everything is out in the open. We can move on!" Allison said, raising her voice.

"Oh, I'm moving on. But not with you, with Leonard" Vanya said "With Harold, you mean" Allison said "With Leonard!" Vanya said "Vanny, no. Leonard is manipulation you. He's using you" you said as you took a step forward, so you were standing next to Allison.

"He's only person who has ever loved me for me" Vanya said aggressive and the sound of rumbling was heard "What about me Vanny. I love you. I have done that since we were kids and even so I spend years forgetting that I didn't knew you. I still like you the moment I saw you again" you said.

Allison let out a small laugh while Vanya calmed down slightly "Look me in the eye and tell me you're not threatened now" she said as she was looking at Allison as there was a high-pitched sound around them while things started moving again while the chimes began to move back and forth making a clattering sound, the chandelier lights started swinging back and forth as you could hear the wind whistling.

You and Allison looked around before you looked back at Vanya "I don't wanna argue with you" Allison said "Then go!" Vanya screamed, causing things around to make a crashing noise "Uh--" Allison said as she heard the things clattering and crashing.

"We're only trying to help you" you said "I don't want your help!" Vanya shouted "Vanya, I love you!" Allison said "Stop saying that!" Vanya shouted again and the wind picked up as more objects clattered to the floor.

You and Allison looked around the cabin, you saw how a wave of energy started came through the room while lights started swinging back and forth more and more and the sound of glass smashing was heard.

The rocking chairs started rocking again. The curtains and the wind started picking up more and more. The wind chimes got louder and a dream catcher in the window started spinning around. A metal lamp on the table started making a rattling sound as it moved around.

"Are you...Are you okay?" Allison asked as you and her noticed that Vanya's face turned pale white "I said go!" Vanya screamed and the light in the chandelier above exploded causing glasses to shattering everywhere which made Allison and you to let out a gasp as the glass came down around them.

"Please don't make me do this" Allison said as she looked at Vanya and more glass was smashed.

"Allison don't" you said but she didn't listen "I heard a rumor..." Allison said but then Vanya swung her violin bow, slicing through Allison's throat and the violin bow also came in contact with your left shoulder and waist causing you to let out a gasp and a grunt.

Allison let out a gasp before she started choking as blood quickly came running out of her throat.

At the sight, Vanya quickly dropped the bow "Allison! Tilly!" she said.

Vanya was gasping while Allison was choking as she put her hands to her bleeding throat while Vanya put her hands on Allison's shoulders as her eyes went wide.

"Allison!" you screamed as you put your hand on your cut, but blood was already pouring down your arm.

Allison dropped to the floor "No! No! Allison" Vanya said crying as Allison felled to the floor with a grunt.

"I didn't mean to" Vanya said before she looked at you "I'm so sorry Tilly" she cried "It's okay" you said "I'm so sorry" she cried.

"It's okay, Vanny, you lost control" you said as blood was pouring out of your cuts.

Vanya kept screaming with tears in her eyes as she was holding Allison "It's okay, you didn't mean to" you said as you grunt out in pain, trying to stay on your feet while Vanya kept screaming as she was shaking Allison while crying.

"Come on heal" you said as you knew that you always healed faster than others.

Then suddenly the door swung open "Vanya, wait" Leonard said but stopped when he saw Allison laying as she kept choking before he looked at you who was too focus on the sight.

You turned around to see Leonard "You" you said angry before your eyes started glowing dark red as mist-like shapes formed around your fists "You have five seconds to leave and never show your face again" you said.

"Allison" Vanya cried causing you to turn your head to look at Vanya.

Leonard took the chance and grabbed a candlestick before hitting you in the head with it causing you to fell to the floor with a grunt as your version started getting fuzzy and blurry.

'Why does my head hurt that much?'

"Allison!" Vanya said, crying before she turned her head to see that you had falling on the floor while blood was running down from the side of your forehead where you had being hit "TILLY!" she cried before she looked at Leonard "I didn't mean to..." Vanya screamed while she kept crying hysterically, thinking that you had passed out from the cuts she gave you.

Vanya's heart raced as her mind scrambled to process what had happened. How could this have gone so wrong? Her vision blurred as panic set in, her chest tightening. She couldn't breathe, couldn't think straight. Her eyes darting between the two women, desperately searching for something, anything, that could undo this nightmare.

Vanya then looked back at Leonard "I didn't...I didn't mean to" she said before looking back at Allison and you "I'm sorry. I'm sorry" she said sobbing while she was trying to stop the bleeding with her hands "I..." she said sobbing.

She could barely breathe. Her hands trembled as she looked back at the bloodied remains of you and Allison. She felt sick to her stomach, her mind spinning. The walls seemed to close on her, the weight of her actions suffocating her.

"You did what you had to" Leonard said with a smile before he started gathering their things "Vanya! Vanya! We have to go!" he said as he picked up her violin case, violin and the violin bow while Vanya kept sobbing and started hyperventilating while she looked down at her sisters.

"No! I can't just leave them!" Vanya said crying "We have to go now!" Leonard said "Oh, no, no..." Vanya screamed "Vanya, come on!" Leonard said as he grabbed her arm and dragged her with him "No, no, no, no, no!" she said "Vanya, come on!" Leonard said as he grabbed her arm and dragged her with him "No, no, no, no, no!" she said "Now" Leonard said.

Vanya resisted for a moment longer, but the terror in her chest, the overwhelming guilt, and the pull of Leonard's cold insitence, wore her down. She let him drag her towards the door, her legs weak, her body trembling. She couldn't even bring herself to look back at the two women she'd failed.

With one last glance at the wreckage of her life, at the bodies of you and Allison, Vanya was force into the cold dark air as Leonard shoved her towards the car.

Five was driving the car down the road toward the cabin while Luther, Klaus and Diego was sitting in the backseat.

Luther then leaned forward by Five's ear "Hey. Can you go any faster?" he asked "Ask me again, and I'll burn you with the cigarette lighter" Five said and Luther leaned back before Five started pressing harder on the gas "He's worried about Natalie" Diego whispered.

"Please me okay, Natalie" Five said inside his head.

As soon as they got to the cabin, they all got out of the car and rushed towards the door.

Luther opened the door to see Allison laying on the floor in a pool of blood "Allison! No!" he shouted as he rushed over to her before crouching down beside her "No, oh my God, Allison!" he said as he picked her up and started sobbing. "Please look at me, please..." Luther said crying.

Five's eyes then fell on you. The world around him disappeared as his feet carried him towards you. His breath hitched in his chest when he saw you.

"Natalie" his voice was raw, the sound tearing through him. He rushed to your side, his hands trembling as he gently cradled your face,despearte for any sign of life.

"Natalie. NO!" he cried out as he rushed to your side to see that your left shoulder and waist was bleeding "No, no please" he said as he crouched down next to you.

"Natalie, please" he whispered.

'Please. Please don't do this to me. Please don't leave me like this'

His hands shook violently as he held you. His voice craking as he repeated your name, again and again. But nothing happened. You didn't move. 

He then looked around to find something as he put his hand on your arm.

Diego quickly gave Five a towel that he had found in the living room "Here, use this" he said and Five grabbed it before he wrapped it around your cut on your waist.

He took his hand away from your face and arm before he started to undoing his tie quickly. He took off his tie before wrapping it around your left shoulder to stop the bleeding.

He then held you before he moved your hair away from your face "Please, wake up" he cried.

"It's okay. It's okay" he said as his eyes widened when he saw the deep cut.

"Five..." you said quietly as you opened your eyes "It's okay. You're gonna be okay" he said "I remember" you whispered "What?" he asked "I remember everything. I remember my Fivey, my Jumpy Guy, my Pretty Boy, my Coffee Boy, my Short Pants" you said "Listen, you're not thinking clear. You're losing blood" he said "You don't remember" you said quietly "What are you talking about, please just hang in there, okay" he said worried.

You smiled before you use the last strength you have to lift your right arm and your eyes glow a little bit red while some tiny small red mist-like shapes whisps energy appeared on one of your fingers before you put that finger on Five's temple.

"Natalie what are you---" but he stop himself when his whole body froze as his eyes glow a bit red.

There's a ghost upon the moor tonight
Now it's in our house

Suddenly every childhood memory he had with you, woke up. All those blank and dark holes that was in his mind from the age of five to 13 started glowing and they were filled with memories with you, your smile, laugh, face, voice, eyes.

When you walked into the room just then
It's like the sun came out
It's like the sun came out

He remember every little childhood memory he had with you. You two hugging, talking, laughing, having fun, even your secret whistles. All his memories with you from the age of five to 13 woke up and they were playing and flashing in his mind like a movie.

Until the memory stopped when it reach the last time you saw each other was when you two were hugging goodbye as 13 years old and Five promise you that he would never forget you and that you would see each other again.

When the last memory had woken up, Five's eyes stop glowing red and his eyes were widened while your hand fell down to the floor again.

It's like the sun came out

He then looked down at you who were smiling at him "Nat Nat" he said and you nodded "I remember" he said as small tears of joy was in his eyes.

"Vanya....Find...her" you said before you closed your eyes "No. no. Nat wake up. Don't you leave me again, no. No. I just got you back, please, you can't do that to me" he cried as he shook you a bit.

"No, please Nat, don't you leave me. Please, not when I just you back. Please stay with me. I can't lose you again. Please I'm your Jumpy Guy, your Petty Boy and your Fivey, remember" he cried.

"NAT!"

"I did this to you. This is my fault"

His entire body trembling as the reality of the situation set in. He hadn't protected you. He hadn't kept you safe. He had pulled you into this life, into danger, and now you were laying injured because og him.

The word from earlier echoed in his head, if you hadn't come with him, none of this wouldn've happened. It was a thought that churned inside him, a deep gnawing regret that sank into his bones. The weight of that regret crushed him, suffocated him, as he looked down at you.

"Natalie.." his voice was barely audible, a desperate whisper. Tears began to pool in his eyes, his chest tightening with the unbearable pain of seeing you like this. Injured because of him.

"I should've let you stay at the Academy. You wouldn't be here if I had just---"

The thought was too much. It felt like he was drowing. his hands shook even harder.Diego's voice cut through the silence but Five couldn't hear him "We have to take them back to the Academy now. Let's go!"

Five's eyes never left your. He didn't hear the others around him. All he could see, all he could feel was the weight of your body in his hands.

The others moved to take you. Klaus and Diego gently lifted you, cradling you as you were glass. "Give me her" Five said, his voice breaking. His hands were shaking so much he could barely hold on to you, but he needed to be the one to hold you.

Klaus placed you in his arms, your head resting against Five's lap. He couldn't pull his eyes away from you. The world outside the car was a blur as Diego speed away from the wreckage, but Five's focus remained entirely on you.

"Wearing unbranded and cheap clothes doesn't mean you're poor. Remember, you have family to feed not a community to impress"
