Two

Eden

A whisper of heat trails lower down my body, it starts right below my ear, wisps of fire dancing slowly down my neck before descending upon my breasts, leaving scorching pleasure in it's wake.

The heat is suffocating, I can barely breathe, the air being heavily tainted with the scent of lust. The heat continues its torturous path downward, lower and lower the fire burns. Taunting. Teasing.

The fire reaches right below my bellybutton as my back arches. My body begging for more.

The feeling is unexplainable, it burns, but I'd rather be turned to ash than to stop this fire. Each lick of the flame is pure bliss, a lovingly heated caress to my soul.

A threat of unimaginable pleasure.

Slowly the licks of the flame reach between my thighs, and I cry out in pure ecstasy. The soft flickers of the flame gently gliding through my wetness. My hands reach above my head, into the darkness, needing something to ground myself.

As I look down between my thighs I behold two glowing, golden eyes staring up at me while I'm coming completely undone by the burning licks between my thighs.

"W-what are you?" I manage between moans. My question is answered only by deep, sensual laughter.

My eyes snap open and are met with the faded wooden ceiling of my bedroom, illuminated by a candle nearly burnt down to the wick as it flickers in the darkness.

I sit up in bed and look towards the window of my small room and take note that the sun is just now starting to rise, meaning I have a little bit of time before it's time to get up for the day.

That dream felt too real.. I definitely had too much wine last night. I stay in bed for a moment longer, my thoughts lingering, before deciding to get up and make my way to the bathroom.

My feet silently take me across the smooth wooden floor to the large door across the room, I open it and instantly fill up the bronze club-foot tub with hot water. I climb in and sink as far down as I can into the water and begin cleaning myself with a bar of soap, the smell of musk and lavender filling my senses. I dip my head under and then lather my hair and rinse it. After soaking for a moment longer I step out and drain the tub, wrapping a fluffy white towel around my body.

I make my way back into my room and towards my large standing closet in the corner. After drying off, I pick a simple black top that wraps around my breasts, slipping on my knee length green skirt, and leave my feet bare. My dark hair is left down and flowing, I never do anything with it aside from brushing it.

As I make my way out the front door of my little cottage my mind wonders back to my dream from this morning.

I've never woken up like that before from a dream. And those eyes looking up at me, they felt.. familiar. But I don't believe I've come across someone with such beautiful golden eyes.

It's been forever since I've seen any male, let alone a golden eyed one. Males weren't allowed in this part of the forest, this was her Covens land. The dwelling of the Light Witches. And no male has set foot on this land in hundreds of years.

The only time I see males is when me and a couple of my fellow witch's venture to the local town whenever we're in need of certain things, though it's not often as it's over a days worth of travel to the town itself. Being witches we are mostly self-sufficient, we barely have any need for the world outside of our forest.

Centuries ago when the Wars first broke out between the Gods, our first Coven leader sought refuge deep in the Northern forest, making a deal with the spirit's who dwelled within the tree's. We let the forest feed off of our natural magic that lived within us, and the forest offered us protection in return. No one has ever found our dwellings and lived to tell the tale. Even after the War was over and won, we remained in our forest.

Males once we're allowed to live among us, but that changed when our first Coven leader was slaughtered by her betrothed. He had killed her while she slept in a desperate attempt to gain her power, but no male has ever been deemed worthy of such a gift, and it consumed him in a raging fire. After that, our second chosen High Preistess and new Coven leader forbid any male from entering our forest again, in fear they would grow jealous and expose or hurt us, or perhaps her real reason was she was too afraid to risk her own life after the magic picked her out of the witch's as our next leader and protector of the Coven. The magic couldn't be matched, even I don't know the full strength of our leaders magic. It is highly coveted and sought after, many have tried and failed to obtain it.

You must be chosen. The magic is alive.

Aries, our High Preistess, has led and protected our Coven for many decades. I proudly sit beside her as her first in command, and have lived decades with her as my closest friend. As immortals, there are not many of us, barely over a hundred in total, as the magic can be picky in whom it chooses. The goddess of Light has always gifted the abilities of light witches to those deemed worthy. Procreating isn't a concern of ours, our kind will never die out, as we are chosen in adulthood by the Light goddess, though there are usually signs before then.

We are Sisters born from the slums, from palaces, used to be whores and once upon a time seamstresses, we are light and dark colored, with hair in every shade, we come in many shapes and sizes. We are the chosen. And we always find our way home to our Coven. The goddess guides us when the time is right.

I continue down the small path until I reach the center of our small village among the trees. Everyone seems to be out enjoying the small patches of sunshine that makes it's way through the thick canopy of the forest, and I can smell the cinnamon bread baking for this morning's breakfast. We always have meals together, taking turns on who helps in the kitchen. I make my way into the open kitchen area and greet the ladies working this morning.

"Good mornin', Eden." Tabitha says as she gives me a warm smile. "Morning Tabby! That cinnamon bread smells amazing." I say as I take a big inhale, eyeing the delicious food. Tabitha swats at my butt. "You know you don't get any till it's served at the table, go sit." She laughs as I roll my eyes, she knows on the days I work in the kitchen I'd eat a whole loaf to myself if I had the chance. She's never let me live down the one time she caught me in the pantry stuffing my face full. It was one time. Still I laugh along with her. "Okay, okay! I'm leaving, I won't steal any bread... Today." I smile at her and take my leave from the kitchen.

As soon as I leave through the kitchen doorway I'm met with Aries striding towards me. "Eden! There you are. I've been looking for you. Come with me."
I link arms with her and begin walking quickly towards the base of the near by mountain, the one that houses our cave system. It has many chambers within it. We don't visit the caves often, only every now and then to gather things we've put in storage, usually winter supplies.

The cinnamon bread temporarily forgotten, I grab a ripe orange as we pass under the fruit trees, just something to stop my stomach from making any more noise.

I try to slow our pace so I can eat as we walk. "Aries, slow down, what's gotten you so worked up? Why are we headed toward the caves?" She slows slightly and glances at me out of the corner of her hazel eyes, she takes a deep inhale to calm herself as we pass through rays of sunlight, her shoulder length golden hair blowing slightly in the breeze, looking like rays of sunlight itself.

"The two girls who were assigned look out last night came across an intruder." Ah, so that's what it is. It's been a while since we've had to recover a body, it's never pleasant, the trees simply crush trespassers, leaving a horrifying mess for us to stumble upon.

I nod my head. "I see, then why are we headed towards the caves? We don't bring bodies back here for safety reasons, Aries." She slows and turns towards me as I finish eating my orange, my fingers now smelling of citrus. She looks me in the eye and grabs my shoulders. "Well, we had to bring this body back when, for some reason, the forest spirits decided to let him pass the barrier." My eyes widen in disbelief. She takes in my expression and drops her hands from my shoulders, hooking our arms together again she moves forward and into the mouth of the cave, from there she leads us down one of the many halls lined with doors. Finally able to gather my thoughts, "He?" is all I can manage to get out.

Aries simply nods, lighting the torches with her magic as we walk down the dark halls. We make it to a door I don't think I've yet to come across in all my years here, Aries seems to take notice. "This is our one and only holding cell, we never thought we would need to use it." She says in a hushed tone, I nod and let go of her arm as she holds out her hand and whispers in the old language to release the locks on the door. As the locks fall away my heart begins to beat faster. "You've not told any of the other girls of this male, have you?" I whisper to her, she shakes her head without looking at me, her focus on the door. "Only the two who came across him, and they've been told not to speak of it yet." She says. Good, none of the other girls need to worry about why the spirit's let someone pass. Not yet anyways.

Aries finally turns her gaze towards me, silently asking if I'm ready to enter the cell. I hesitantly nod, giving her the okay. She turns the handle and slowly begins to open the door, just before she walks in she warns me. "Don't believe anything he tells you. He must have powerful magic to have made it as far as he did, whether he came willingly is besides the point." So he's here by choice?

I nod. "You know me better than to be easily fooled." She offers a ghost of a smile to me, with that Aries walks through the doorway and I'm quick to follow.

A male wearing nothing but a pair of dark brown pants kneels on the floor in the center of the room, his wrists bound to the floor with enchanted chains, his gaze is cast downward, his dark wavy hair covering his eyes as his head tilts downward. Good, he should know better than to try to meet the gaze of a Light Witch when he has trespassed on our land.

As if sensing my thoughts his head snaps upwards and his gaze meets my soft blue eyes. The male smirks, a sly smile spreading across his dangerously handsome face. As our eyes meet I feel the color drain from my face. Those eyes.

Those golden eyes.

I've seen them only once before and they're unmistakably the same eyes I saw staring up at me from between my thighs from this morning.

Before I can even think about what I'm doing I jump toward him, pulling a dagger out of thin air with my magic and putting it to his throat as I kneel in front of him, meeting his gaze straight on.

"Wait!" Aries yells at me, though I don't bother to look at her. "He has to be killed, Aries! He's too close to our village!"

Aries looks at me as though I've lost my mind as I hold the dagger to the male's throat. "Calm down, Eden, come with me into the hall and let's talk about this." I finally look at her as if she's the one who's lost her mind. In my fit of rage I shout at her.

"He's an incubus! He can't be allowed to live a second longer!" My voice echoes off of the cave walls, before deep sensual laughter fills the air.
