The 4th period bell finally rang ending another boring day in trigonometry class, I swore my brain blew a fuze In there. Now I finally know why math is called math, mental abuse to humans was a understatement. I walked over to my locker to put my books away, when I closed it back The Genesis girls were there, nearly scaring the shit out of me. "Sorry I didn't know you were there."

"Katherine Baker?" I nodded.The girls smiled in unison and the one in front handed me a envelope. It was white and hand pink swirls laced around it. The envelope smelled like sweet perfume. "Don't open it until lunch okay?" The girl said. I nodded and they walked off. I was left to stare at the envelope in my hand wondering what it was for.

My friends came down the hallway, "Hey Kat you ready for lunch?" They said waving.

I stuffed the letter in my bag and threw it over my shoulder, "Of course after being in Mr.Halser's class I'm starving. We walked over to the cafeteria and got our food and walked back to the designated Nobody section which is usually empty for obvious reasons. My friend Emily began talking about how fake scary movies were and I tuned her out as I picked at my food. Suddenly I remembered the letter and zipped open my bag and opened it quietly under the table. The note was in scripted purple ink.

I couldn't help but grin and squeal in excitement. "You okay Kat?"

"Omg Omg Omg I was just invited to become a Genesis girl!"

"Really?"

I showed them the letter, "This is the best day ever, do you know what this means, parties, clubs, beauty, all eyes on me...I'll be popular."

"So does that mean you won't be hanging out with us anymore?"

I stopped jumping in excitement and looked at them. They were right...if I become a Genesis I can't hang out with them like I used to. "Of course I would, just maybe not all the time, but don't you see if I can be popular maybe I can help you guys stop being treated as Nobodies."

"What's with the screaming babe?" I turned around and seen my boyfriend, Jackson, put his arms around me and kiss me on the cheek. He's a Gadget, meaning he works with computers. Usually people like him are just called tech nerds but after a lot of hot guys became interested in computers the name instantly changed.

"Look at this." I danced the paper around and he took it out my hand.

"The Genesis huh? You sure you want to hang out with those girls?"

"Why wouldn't I? There kind, beautiful, and popular."

"And your already all of those things."

I blushed, "Yeah but..." I looked over at the Genesis leaving the lunch room. "Um I'll be right back okay?" I kissed him on the cheek and ran towards the door. "Hey wait!" The girls stopped and looked at me, "I just wanted to thank you for allowing me to join your club its really a honor."

They looked at me strangely before smiling, "The honor is all ours Ms.Baker, having you become a Genesis was complete and utter destiny." The girl in the middle smiled, "See you after school."

"Wait!" A girl ran up to the girls with a camera, "Do you mind posing for a picture for the year book? " The girls all looked at eachother then at the girl in the middle who seemed to be the leader and all at once they posed as the girl began taking shots. "Thank you. " The girls looked at me and walked off.

I couldn't wait until the school day way finally over, once the bell rung I ran out the room and to The Genesis room down the hall. I knocked on the door and two Genesis girls pulled me in and sat me down in front of a mirror. "Hello Katherine, welcome to The Genesis. We're so happy to have you." In the mirror I seen the girl who usually stands up front, she had long blonde hair that sat on her shoulders, makeup that complimented everything about her and a white and pink dress; next to her was Sarah Milton. "You may call me Lexi, everyone here does." The girls took a brush and started combing my hair and another started to apply makeup.

"We're going to make you look perfect." They said smiling.

"Just some advice as you are now a Genesis girl and you do represent all of us now. Money is not a necessity, richest or even poorest have no power here. You just need to look perfect all the time, also be adviced that you must be kind, nice, and generous to everyone including the Nobodies." The girls applied lipstick and eyeliner. "A Genesis girl doesn't lie, cheat, or steal unless they really need to. "

"What about dating?" I asked. The girls stopped and looked behind me for a moment before continuing.

"Oh its completely okay to have a boyfriend, as long as your priorities are in order. So do yourself a favor and keep your priorities in order." Her tone almost made me jump. "Now as I was saying, never let anyone see you cry, sweat, or break down; trust me on that. Try to behave as if someone is always watching you." My hair was sprayed and hunged down my back. Looking in the mirror, I could tell I looked amazing. "And lastly you must remember that true beauty is not what you wear, who your seen with or even what you look like..." I was turned away from the mirror before I could see myself fully. "Katherine, do you give your soul to our sisterhood?"

I nodded, "Yes, my lady." The words didn't even sound like me its like it came out before I even thought it. Suddenly my body jerked and I felt pain in my chest until suddenly it was gone.

I repeated the words trying to match the pronunciation, Solu I vige ot uyo llinwgiyl nda hwole-reahtdeyl." I looked up at lexi smiling at me, "What does that even mean."

"It means you'll be perfect. " She turned me around and I seen myself in the mirror. I couldn't believe it was me I looked beautiful...amazing...perfect. Suddenly from the far left mirror I seen my reflection move a way I didn't. The reflection didn't respond to my movements and turned towards me them suddenly all 3 of my reflections did the same until all stared at me with black full eyes. I tried to move or say something but my body wouldn't respond and all at once the reflections reached out at me, with a loud hiss. The last thing I remember is a creepy and cynical laugh, then nothing.
