⍋Primium impressionem (19.5/20): Hun, I'm amazed. Jesus Christ on a bike, you know how to pull someone in and make them stay there until they read every single word you wrote. Well fucking done, I couldn't describe this better than that. The description has it all, the hook, the humour, the atmosphere I can expect if I read further (and I damn will because you brought me to my knees and made me willingly call you daddy). So, you might be wondering then why am I taking half a point away? I know I'm horrible, but the cover you had before (not the pink one, but the one prior to it with Tae on it) had something I love and feel suits the story more than the one you have right now. This one is a bit generic and your story is anything but that. Everything else? Pure perfection.
⍋Et compages grammatica damnationem (20/20): I think I'll be writing the word perfect quite a bit throughout this review. Hun, why the hell are you here asking for my help? Damn girl, you should be the one giving me the review, not the other way around! You're impeccable. Please teach me your ways! Every sentence you wrote is carefully thought out, it's as if I got the rare opportunity to watch Leonardo DaVinci paint Mona Lisa, your craftsmanship is out of this planet. Well done, I seriously have no other words.
⍋Scripto artes (20/20): My god, I'm drooling. I love it. I'm speechless at this point and still wondering why did you ask me to review Soy Milk since all I'm doing is fangirling over your writing skills and not helping you at all because guess what? I have nothing to help you with. You know damn well what you're doing and how you're presenting scenes your characters are in. It's lovely and so damn satisfying to read your work because stumbling upon something as amazing as Soy Milk is damn rare these days. God, I'm overwhelmed by the high level of artistry you're presenting me here. My heart can't take this, I need a water break.
⍋Influunt (9.5/10): Sentences smooth as butter, every single word perfectly placed - ugh. Have me, I'm yours. Please please please do watch out for some words you rarely repeat close to each other and the proper meaning of them (flattered down eyelids - I know what you want to say but the wording is a bit odd). It is rare, but it happens and since everything is so wonderful, those tiny mistakes can stick out like huge, sore thumbs. Skimming through your chapters once will help you notice them as well. I'm nitpicky as hell now, but I think I have the right to at this point.
⍋Insidias (20/20): I noticed you're worried about a couple of things when it comes to your story and I'm here to reassure you. No, not knowing their names until a couple of chapters in wasn't confusing nor weird to read - we know who you're writing about. No, you're not rushing with your plot, but are nicely developing it and letting me settle in like I entered my grandma's home. You're doing a great job and I can see that even though you're just nine (well, seven if we exclude the disclaimers and character aesthetics) chapters in. I can't wait to see in which direction you'll take it! Give me more! Please, I crave it!
Psst, them mixing up names at the same time is super cheesy, but that's just my opinion so I'll shut up now.
⍋Characteribus (19/20): Question - how come people blush so much? Is it really true? It's just that I never experienced it and it seems to be a must-have when you're embarrassed in front of your crush. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that you can use some other ways of showing her embarrassment to us - body language is vast as the wonderful words you use, so don't be afraid to research a bit and see how else can she react!
Anyway, I adore them. They are quirky, relatable, funny as hell and so damn adorable! You made them human and I feel like I'm their friend who's there to watch them fumble about, it's so well done! Why the half of a point once again? Damn, they can be a bit too cheesy and goofy sometimes. It doesn't happen often, but try to make their antics just a bit less cringy (they can go that way sometimes, but it's nothing overboard).
⍋Totalis puncta et summaries: 108/110! I am so damn impressed with Soy Milk! It's SO UNDERRATED though, but I saw you joined recently so it's not that surprising that it is. Please don't stop writing it, it's such a masterpiece and so easy to read yet intriguing and not something you see every day! Lovelies, GIVE THIS BOOK LOVE, it deserves it and you won't regret it, I promise you! Congrats, hun!
