It was still an annoying  day. For Zane, the trip to the next town took forever. Mercy continued to smack him in the face with her tail and continued to call him a mutt. Mercy, on the other hand, enjoyed her day. The next town was where Alicia, Kyle, and Jacob lived. Alicia said it was a humble town, but it isn't such a high rank town. She said they'd love the place. Mercy had to check it out first.

     It wasn't a long walk, but some felt like they were walking quite a long time. When they arrived to the town, Mercy stopped bothering Zane. She hadn't see a town like it before. It had a huge tree near the entrance. It resembled the tree Marla planted. Surrounding the huge tree were a couple guard towers and some houses. Encasing everything in, was a wall. All of it was marvelously lit. All of it was the town that went by Magic Hollow. Houses ranged in design. Some were stone and others were wood. One of the houses was in the tree itself.

     Mercy stared at the town in amazement. The tree was grander than the tree house Marla has! When the others started to walk towards it, Mercy snapped out of the trance she was in and followed behind them. "This looks so cool", awed Mercy. Zane nodded in agreement. Mercy turned into cat and pranced around. She made lots of happy meows as they grew closer. Alicia laughed as she saw the playful cat jump around.

     It was a sight people described as amazing. I can only imagine how wonderful it was.

     When they arrived at the gate, a guard said, "Open the gates! Alicia's back". The gate went up smoothly. At the other side of the gate was a young brown haired man. "Back so soon", he asked. "Werewolves sidetracked us. We also met these two who decided to join us", replied Alicia. Mercy stopped playing around as a cat and turned into her human form. She waved as Zane said, "This place is cool". The young man waved back and asked, "May I ask who they are". Mercy's Eirr ears and tail showed from all the excitement that flowed through her. "I'm Mercy Beilfallen", said Mercy as her ears twitched. Soon afterwards, Zane said, "I'm Zane Diaz". 

     "May you give them a tour. They seem like they can get a more productive tour with you rather than I", said Alicia. The boy nodded. He started with the tree. "This is our great tree. It started off as a tree house for kids to hang in, but as we all grew the tree became so grand our village grew with it as well", described the man. "Um... may we know exactly who you are first?", asked Mercy. "Oh, right! You see I am the lord of this town. My name is Daniel", he explained. "Shall we move on from the tree, now?". Mercy nodded.

     The next place they went to was the town plaza. Along the way, Daniel introduced his citizens to Mercy and the others. There were so many people. The town plaza was magnificent. It had so many lanterns hanging from strings that went from one booth to another. Each booth was a sight of it's own. One booth had dolls with little dresses. The booths were lined up on each side of the plaza. Mercy enjoyed looking at each booth. When she arrived at the dolls booth, Mercy traded ten diamonds for the one with blue hair and a lovely black maid's outfit. She only had to trade two gold coins, but she insisted on giving them ten diamonds.

     Next was the statue of Luciana. Luciana was the most well respected woman in this realm. She was said to have fought against the one who reeked havoc amongst all creatures. This happened around a thousand years ago. Luciana is the goddess of gifts. She isn't really a god, but she was a powerful being. Her statue was a interpretation of what she may have looked like. No one really knew what she looked like so making up her beauty was common. Mercy was awed by the statue, but couldn't get near it. "What's wrong cat", asked Zane. She glared at Zane as she so calmly said, "I can't get near it". After that, no one spoke. They just admired the statue.

     The tree, the plaza, and the statue were the only sights that were important to the town. The guard towers and houses were things they could explore if others let them. There was a small café around, though. It was mainly worked by woman. The men who chose to work there mainly took orders or delivered them. The woman had little maid outfits. Each made outfit was unique to the girl who wore them. One wore the original design, two wore a long shirt that looked like a maid's outfit, and the last wore a hoodie that was also a maid's dress. The café was adorable and had many sweets waiting for people to eat them.

     "Come you two. I'm going to show you where you're temporarily going to stay", demanded Daniel. They walked up a trail that led to a two story building. At the moment, it was vacant and close to the guard towers. This was suppose to be for the newcomers. Once people got settled here, they could find a roommate or build a house within the town perimeters. They built this building next to a guard tower because they wanted to make sure no one caused trouble at night. "Go choose a room and situate yourself", said Daniel, "Make sure you guys clarify the room your staying in isn't owned by someone else".
