Mercy enjoyed the life she has been living. She has a job where she earns the money in a fair way. She has friends to join adventures with. She has a werewolf around that she can tease. She has Mint. She also has her first doll. What couldn't she love about her recent life. Well there's the High Court. They apparently visited Magic Hollow soon after Mercy arrived. They had no idea Mercy was there. They went because they had a deal with one of the citizens who won't do there part of this deal. Mercy was safe, for the moment.

     When the High Court's leader and his guards left, Mercy went up to Alicia and asked why he was here. "Hm? Why ask". "Oh well... he and I aren't on good terms and well... keep your friends close and enemies closer", she so lovely described. Alicia looked at Mercy with confusion, but soon her face showed that she understood why. "Well... you see one of my friends... he made a deal with Ma-the High Court's leader which he hasn't fulfilled", explained Alicia. "We need help to find out Ma- uh...the High Court's leaders true plans, but we can't do it ourselves". "I could help", Mercy exclaimed. "But doesn't he kn-", she began until she was so rudely interrupted. "I can go undercover... besides... he doesn't know the cat side of me", Mercy smiled. Alicia thought about it for a while. Let Mercy help or continue to NOT know what the High Court's leader is truly planning?

     Alicia finally came to a conclusion. She would let Mercy help. It was a huge risk, but it must be done. Alicia nodded letting Mercy know she would be allowed to help. "Yay... I can take him down from the inside", she so happily exclaimed. "I'd have to ask Jacob if he is okay with this, though. He might not want you to do this", Alicia said trying not to put Mercy's enthusiasm away. Mercy nodded happily. Her Eirr ears and tail showed indicating she was excited. 

     "Jacob. I need to ask you something". Jacob looked at Alicia and noticed she was with Mercy. "Yes?". "We want to know if Mercy could help you out with your issue and see what Ma- the High Court's leader is planning", Alicia explained. Jacob looked confused for a little while and wondered why she wanted to help. "Won't that put her on his 'hate' list", Jacob asked. "I already am... That won't be a problem, though", said Mercy. Jacob stared at Mercy in confusion. He wondered what she meant by that. "Uh... I can turn into a cat and he won't know it's me", Mercy explained.

     They discussed whether she should or shouldn't. It was an easy win for Mercy, but it did take a bit for Jacob to fully understand why she volunteered. It isn't often someone volunteers for such a thing. This is especially true when the person who volunteers is someone you just met. Mercy overall was excited. This plan, or devilishly evil scheme, benefits all whom isn't the High Court's leader. During this whole conversation, Mint was listening. He also wanted to join in, but alas he could not do such a mischievous thing.

     "Wait... I just realized somethin'. What if he doesn't accept a pet? The plan won't work if he doesn't take me in", Mercy sighed. Jacob and Alicia turned to Mercy and sighed as well. "That's true", they both sadly stated. They stood there for moments being silent. "I just remembered something. He has never had a pet and always wanted one", Jacob began, "He would most likely take you in. I bet he'll name you 'Princess' or 'Darling". "I'd prefer Duchess Von Fluff", Mercy remarked. Everyone began to laugh.

     They soon went on to their normal day routine. For Mercy, this was bother Zane, work, and do daily life necessities. A couple days later, they planned how they would put this all into action. There final product was play an innocent stray as he passes, catch his attention, get adopted, and from there Mercy would improvise. This was all easier said than done, but Mercy could handle it. Sucks that Mercy will do this without Mint.
