"Oh look the cat's up", Zane smirks as he walks down the stairs of the building. Mercy just glares at him and Mint does the same. Mercy doesn't seem too happy at the moment. You see waking up isn't always Mercy's favorite thing. In fact, it isn't her favorite thing to do ever, but she's no sleeping beauty. "Sometimes he has no sense of humor... or when to use it", Mercy scoffs. Mercy only got up because she has to work. Hera's been very understanding and doesn't really care whether she works all the time or not. She does have many workers. Sometimes more than she needs. Mercy still needs the money so right now she has to work in order to get her paycheck. So far, Mercy hasn't taking any thieving gigs so she has no money, yet.

     Mercy's plans were to go and work, but she was stopped by someone. It was Alicia who had no idea Mercy was on her way to Sweets and Treats. "Mercy!", Alicia yelled as Mercy was in her sight. Mercy approached and said, "Hey, Alicia. How are you doing since... yesterday?", Mercy asks completely missing the fact that she was with someone. "Oh Mercy. C'mon you know how I was yesterday. I was worried 'bout you", she states, "But since yesterday my friends child visited. I don't know if you'll get along too well with her though. She's a werewolf... and well Zane completely refused to be in her company". Mercy looked at the werewolf whom Alicia called a child. She looked slightly younger than Kiara. This so called child had lovely dark grayish, or light blackish, hair and beautiful yellow eyes.

     "I must say she seems to be a better mutt than Zane already. What's your name cause I don't want to call you mutt, pooch, mongrel, or dog", said Mercy with a patronizing tone. She smiled afterwards. "Names Zoe", she said reaching her hand out, "Based off Miss Alicia's soft screaming your Mercy". Mercy nodded as she schook Zoe's hand. Alicia clapped her hands in joy a bit surprised to see Mercy and Zoe get along. "Wonderful... now Zoe here has hung around Jacob, Kyle, and I every time she visits, but no one else unless her mom's here", she began obviously hinting towards Zoe and Mercy hanging out. Mercy nodded happily. "Great", Alicia said contently.

     "C'mon Zoe. Where do you want to go first?", asked Mercy a bit excited. Zoe didn't speak for a bit, for she was thinking of what to do. When she finally decided she pointed to the meadow they were near, "I want to play over there. Maybe we could talk about whatever and get to know each other enough to say we're good friends". Mercy nodded in agreement. Mercy didn't like that fact that she only had Zane, Alicia, Mint, and Hera to talk to. Someone new is good. Mercy and Zoe walked over to the pasture of grass. Zoe must've gotten too excited to the point where she changed forms. Mercy laughed, let Mint out her hat, and turned into a cat hoping Zoe wouldn't care. Zoe didn't freak out, but she was curious. "You're a cat? How? It's cool!", Zoe yelled happily.

     "I'm not a cat I'm a witch. I was born with the ability. Yes, it is cool", Mercy said matter-of-factly. Zoe jumped up and down. "No wonder Alicia called her a child. She's childish!", Mercy mumbled to herself. Zoe was to focused on running around to listen to Mercy. She seemed to have fun. Zoe didn't seem to have many friends who can do similar things to her. The werewolves don't really seem to be extremely fond of her. There's only two who actually live here. They are Zane and Leo. Leo is Kiara's age, has smoke colored hair, and blue and green eyes. He, in fact, is another victim of the constant annoyance Mercy bestows upon him. Zoe isn't a pure blood werewolf so she bothers Zane and Leo, who are pure bloods, hoping she might get to know more about herself. Since she is the only werewolf in her town she hasn't learned all about herself.

     "So you're hanging out with her? This whole time you haven't even called her mutt or dog. How come?", Zane asked whilst Leo stood beside him. Mercy quickly averted her attention to Zane who was obviously jealous Zoe got Mercy's "special" treatment. "Jealous puppy are we?", Mercy scoffs, "You don't seem too happy". Zane rolled his eyes as Leo was about to speak, but seemed to have forgotten what to say. "Hey Mercy. I've been meaning to give you nickname. I doubt you'll take it as an insult, but how does kitten or kitty sound?", he asks, "You remind me of one so I thought it'd suit you". Mercy didn't know if he was complementing her, insulting her, or even both. "You're childish and annoying like one so I thought it would be perfect", he smirked. Mercy nodded accepting it. The only other person who called her Kitty was Charles. She's finally glad it's catching on to more people. Even if it is one more person.

      Zoe looked back and forth between Leo and Zane. Whenever she looked at Leo, though, she paused for a moment. No one noticed Zoe looking back and forth between the two. "You guys want to join our small hangout or something? Unless of course, you're too scared to hang around girls because you think you'll be made fun of for it", Mercy remarked hopefully making the boys want to spend time to seem like they aren't worried about a reputation. In reality, they weren't, but Mercy wanted to get them into hanging out. Mint, at the moment, was sleeping and has been since Mercy let him out of her hat. "We're not scared. We'll hang out with you to prove it", said Leo hoping he wasn't sounding a bit hurt. Mercy got them to hang out with her and Zoe like she wished.

     Leo, Mercy, Zane, and Zoe played for quite a while. Occasionally Mercy would have them play games which were similar to Cat and Mouse. That was Mercy's favorite game. That is why she tends to have people chase her. Occasionally, Zoe would bother Zane and/or Leo to have them tell her a lot about werewolves. "I was disowned when I was extremely young so I don't know too much", was the reason Zane gave in order for her to stop bugging. Leo just flat out ignored Zoe. Zoe seemed to have fun for the most part and so did Mercy. Mercy took every chance she could to annoy Zane and Leo and every time she was successful. To annoy a werewolf you must always add a dog related joke or insult. Calling them mutt, pooch, or mongrel will definitely bother them.

     At the end of the day, the four decided to make a small group. It's just a group so they can have a reason to hang out with one another. "Mercy. How did you get Zane and Leo to hang out with you?", asked Alicia in shock. "Skills and the ability to overpower you when it comes to getting what I want", replied Mercy bluntly. Alicia then laughed and gestured for Zoe to go with her. It was night and Alicia is the person who's house Zoe would stay in. "Bye", Zoe waved while she walked off. Mercy waved back and went home. She picked up Mint and took him home. Plans change and sometimes it was for the better.
