Mercy has been working for a full week and she got her paycheck. It was just two diamonds, but it was a lot compared to others. Mercy gets to take days off whenever she wants so she decided to take today off. Zoe is still here and might stay for another month so Mercy'll hang out with her. If Leo and Zane join then that's good for them. Mercy decided to cook some strawberry cake as well as chocolate cake. Mercy likes strawberry and Zoe likes chocolate so she made both. Both cakes are small, but delicious. Mercy decided to go to a small pasture that's near Magic Hollow and far from places under the High Court's influence.

    As they were walking to the pasture, Leo and Zane joined. It took them a few moments to get to the pasture. "How's this place?", Mercy asked as she twirled around. Zane nodded as he took in the sight. It was a small pasture in which Mercy would visit as a child. It was a bit far from TreeHouse, but Mercy made quick trips. Mercy built a small underground house just in case thieves wanted to mug her, now it doesn't have that kind of use. It's use is suppose to be Mercy's hideout or house. "This is the meadow I went to as a kid. It's lovely. I even built an underground house that I haven't visited in months", Mercy explained. Mercy then gestured for them to follow her. She showed them to the underground house. Inside she set some of the stuff she brought down. Mint jumped out her hat and went into a mouse hole he made.

     "Still cozy as ever", Mint exclaimed. His small mouse hole was actually a maze of tunnels he created so he could know how to get to his room. If you were to go in expect to get lost at some point. "Of course it's cozy. We have only been gone a few months", scoffed Mercy. Mercy then pulled out the cakes she packed for the day. Zane noticed she made chocolate cake and was excited. Mercy noticed and said, "Zane, if you want some cake get some". The first thing Zane did was take a butter knife and slice it into a big enough piece. Everyone laughed as they saw Zane scarf down the cake. The small den-like house was big enough for all five of them. It had a small kitchen area, a bedroom, a rug, and a couple more rooms.

     After everyone ate their cake slice, they all went outside to hang out. "Hey Zane, the mutt, and Leo, the pooch! Why don't you go run around for some time", patronized Mercy, "I might give you puppies more treats if you obey". Leo and Zane snickered at her words, but did as she said. "So... Zoe. How do you like the cake I made", asked Mercy. Zoe didn't answer. She was too busy staring at Leo who was play fighting with Zane in his wolf form. "Hm... Zoe, Zoe. Do you have a crush on Leo?", teased Mercy. Zoe snapped out of it and in a whisper-like tone she said, "Of course not! He's... just... gross. Why did you think that?". Mercy looked at her indicating she didn't buy her lie. "Just some suspicion that is stuck in my mind", Mercy shrugged. "Well I have suspicion 'bout you and Zane", smirked Zoe. "You know what! No! No cake for you! Bad dog", patronized Mercy. "What?", Zoe asked upset.

     The two eventually joined in to the boys play fighting. To the boys surprise, the girls came out dominant. "Can you two put up more of a fight?", teased Zoe. The boys growled at the female wolf who just put them on the spot. Then, they attacked and failed. Mercy laughed. "You know, Zane, I thought you'd might want a rematch. Maybe now you could prove you're stronger than me". Zane glared at Mercy. He did want a rematch. He wanted to empower the witch who beat him the first day they met in person. "I do want a rematch, but are you sure you want to lose?", Zane remarked. Mercy crouched ready to fight him. When he went in to attack she made him chase her. Leo and Zoe were fighting the whole time. Eventually, Mercy managed to tire Zane and claim victory. "Ha! Did you expect to win?", teased Mercy, "Is puppy sad now?". "Would I be upset that a kitten beat me", he remarked.

     Zoe and Mercy went their whole playing time without losing to the boys. Mint was just watching them all play fight. He was enjoying the show, but was upset when ever Zane and Mercy got a bit close. He wasn't fond of people he didn't like all too well getting close with Mercy. He couldn't do anything, but yell. "Mouse can't you see I'm trying to show kitten here that I'm better than her", asked Zane annoyed. "Do you really think you can beat me. I have never lost to a mutt and I don't plan on it anytime soon. I'm a cat who needs to hold my position firmly", scoffed Mercy. Mint looked at Zane and whispered, "I'm watching you". Zane laughed before he was tackled by Zoe. "Good one Zoe. Poor Zane here seems to get beaten by not only girls, but cats and dogs like him. "Shut up kitten!", yelled Zane a bit annoyed by Mercy's constant teasing. Mercy put on a pouty face then laughed at his cry for her to stop. "If you roll over and beg I'll shut up", she smirked. Zane shook his head fiercely.

     After some time of Mercy bothering Zane, he finally gave in and did as she asked. He rolled over and begged. It was a hilarious sight for Mercy and Mint. Sadly, Leo and Zoe never saw him do it.

     They hung out for another hour or so. They couldn't keep from the cake. Zoe was thankful Mercy lied about the cake thing. They couldn't enjoy the whole hour for they were rudely interrupted. They were surprised to see wolves. "We seem to have a two for one here!", one of the wolves growled staring at Mercy and Zane, "I thought I smelled more than one foul scent". Who were these wolves who suddenly surrounded them? It was obvious. "Zane. It has been a long time. Why have you been hanging out with the very people we're after. Why are you hanging out with her... a cat", another wolf said. Mercy looked through all the wolves and recognized the one who put her in her cell. "Are you mutts here to chase me again or was that what you were doing this whole time?", asked Mercy. Zane looked over at Mercy. He couldn't tell if she was stupid to make fun of the group of elite warriors or if she knew what she was doing. "Hold your tongue, cat", barked one of the wolves.

     Leo, Mint, and Zoe had no idea what was happening. They only caught on to the fact that Zane hunched over into a defensive pose and that Mercy fixed her posture to look a bit tougher. "We're here to take you to the king. He'll be happy to know we have the infamous Zane and the bratty cat Mercy", demanded one wolf. "Wait, hold up. You give him a description such as infamous, but all I get is bratty cat? That's messed up", stalled Mercy. Once she finished the five friends were all knocked out. Zane and Mercy were taken to the castle by the wolves; Leo, Mint, and Zoe were left there knocked out. Dumb move to leave to werewolves who obviously have an acute sense of smell behind.
