Luna parked the car near a small house in the woods that she had discovered one day and went inside with Derek floating next to her.

She laid Derek in the cozy bed and took off his jacket and top to see how bad his wounds were.

Knowing there was nothing she could do for him at the moment, she made sure Derek was safe for the night. She stroked the hair from his forehead, kissed his forehead and whispered, "We'll get you. I promise you."

So she made her way home herself, as it was already getting late.

The next day, Luna was already awake and was reading books in the magical library they had at home.

"Luna?" asked a worried Marie as she entered the library. When her daughter pored over books, it never meant anything good, and something was up.

"That's true. I remember hearing that you wanted to find out how to brew a certain potion perfectly" Oliver recalled. "And I managed to do it, with the help of the book" Luna explained.

"No time, Mom" Luna said, putting a book about herbs in her bag. "I'm on the go and I need Nina to come with me."

Marie Black saw how frantically her daughter was moving around, checking to see if she had everything. "Luna Marie Black!" Marie called, and Luna stopped in her tracks and looked at her mother. "Come on, sit down and tell me what happened" she said, patting the empty space on the couch where she had sat down. Luna sighed, but followed the request.

"A friend of mine was hurt very badly and I'm trying to help him" Luna told her the short version. Marie knew there was more she wasn't telling her, but she trusted her daughter, knowing she would do anything for her friends. "Okay, but please be careful" she asked her daughter. "Oh yeah, and school is closed until Monday" Marie mentioned, not that Luna would have gone to school if a friend had been hurt.

Luna gave her mother a quick hug and ran to Nina to whisper that they were going to see Derek. This brought a smile to the youngest Black's face. So the Black sisters went to Derek's car and drove towards the little house in the woods.

"So you continued to take advantage of my car!" Derek shouted indignantly. Luna looked over at the other Hales and asked, "Are you, or rather, were you also so obsessed with your cars?"

"Well, actually, yes. It started with Marco. He calls his car 'Baby'" Keith explained, looking at Marco. "Hey, Baby, is a very good and holy car!" Marco defended his 'Baby'.

Nina unbuckled herself and quickly ran inside while Luna followed with her bag. "What happened to him?" Nina asked worriedly when she saw that Derek wasn't waking up or responding. "He was very badly hurt" Luna explained.

Nina touched Derek, quickly pulled her hand back and looked at Luna worriedly. "He's burning, Luna" she said worriedly. "What?" Luna asked, quickly rushing to Derek. She noticed that he was actually burning. "It's worse than I thought" Luna muttered to herself. "What do we do?" Nina asked curiously. "You stay here and guard him. I need to get some herbs to reduce the fever and maybe something to help him heal faster" Luna explained, forming a plan in her head.

"I've never seen you so serious" Derek said to her, taking her hand. Luna looked at him, and he noticed that when she was worried or stressed, she looked older than she really was.

"Hm. So I'm playing nurse!" Nina exclaimed enthusiastically. "Exactly, and if anything happens, call me" said Luna, and Nina nodded with a smile as she conjured up a cute nurse outfit.

Luna went to Derek and whispered, "I'll be back soon. Please hold on for me until then."

She kissed Derek's forehead and did the same to Nina before she left.

"Luna" Derek whispered in his sleep, which neither of the sisters noticed.

"Derek!" Laura called, waking her brother. Derek opened his eyes, groggy. "Laura, shut up. I'm sleeping" Derek mumbled. When he realized what he had said, he quickly opened his eyes and looked at his sister. "Finally! Mom, Dad and Cora are waiting for you downstairs. Breakfast is ready."

"Um...what's happening?" Stiles asked confused and looked at Derek. "I don't know. It felt like a dream, but it was somehow more" Derek said. "This is an alternate universe. You got there in a fever dream" Albus explained the situation they would see.

Derek quickly stood up and hugged his sister, who laughed and returned the hug. "Okay, okay, take it easy" said Laura. Derek ran downstairs and saw his parents and Cora. ​​"Mom, Dad, Cora?" he asked to be sure. The people he addressed turned to him and smiled. "Well, are you finally awake, sleepyhead?" Cora teased her brother.

"Did you sleep well, sweetie?" Talia asked, smiling. Derek was about to answer when Laura beat him to it. "Oh, and how! He dreamed about a 'Luna'. Well, at least he mentioned her name" Laura said, grinning, and Derek just rolled his eyes.

"Anyway, I have to go" Derek said, wanting to find out what was going on. "Oh, are you seeing Marco or Zoe?" Keith asked. "Of course, I mean, come on, he adores our younger cousin" Cora said, laughing. "Zoe isn't younger than you, dearest sister" Laura said. "Wait, cousin? Zoe?" Derek asked, confused.

"Yes? Uncle Marco's daughter, Scott's twin sister?" Laura said to help her brother along. Derek just nodded and didn't really know what to answer.

Luna is in the wizarding world because she could only find some special herbs there. As she was looking for the herb shop, she spotted her favorite twins and smiled as she walked towards them. "Well, if they aren't my favorite twins" Luna said, and the two boys turned to her. Luna looked into the shocked but happy faces of Fred and George Weasley.

"I thought we were your favorite twins!" Zoe exclaimed, looking at Luna with a pout. "Well...the boys are the original twins, and you are their descendants" Luna said, hoping Zoe would leave it at that, which she did.

"Luna!!!" the twins shouted and hugged the young Black. "Our third troublemaker!"

"Wait, troublemaker? Are you playing pranks?" Stiles asked with a smile on his face. "Oh, believe me, Stiles, when I was at Hogwarts, the twins and I were the kings and queen of pranks. I used to be a little rebel" Luna explained proudly, which made Stiles fangirl. Oliver scoffed and whispered, "Used to be? Yeah, right."

Luna laughed at their antics. "Okay, guys. I'm sorry to interrupt our lovely reunion, but I'm looking for Neville. Have you seen him?" asked the young Black.

"He's at the herb shop" Fred began to say. "We'll take you to him" George finished. "Oh, how I missed you finishing each other's sentences" Luna said, reminiscing.

She clapped her hands. "Anyway, show me the way, oh you troublemakers!" Luna called in a playful voice. "You heard her, Gred" George began. "Oh, yes, Forge. We will be, as always, your most humble servants, oh most esteemed Luna" Fred finished, and the twins gave her a mock bow, which made all three of them laugh.

After Derek had eaten his breakfast, he made his way to Zoe. When he arrived at the Bennett's, he saw Zoe already coming out. She saw him and hugged him. "Hey, cousin" she greeted him with a smile. Derek returned the hug and the smile. "Hey, Zoe, I need your help. Something strange is going on here" he began.

Zoe pulled away from the hug and looked at him confused. "How strange?" she asked him, confused. "My parents and sisters are supposed to be dead. You and Scott aren't supposed to be related to me, and the Hale House isn't supposed to be intact" Derek explained to his cousin.

"Hm. Okay, I'll play along. What's the last thing you remember?" Zoe asked. "Well, you, Scott, and Stiles were going to call the Alpha who had bitten Scott. It worked, because he impaled me, and Luna apparently came to me to see how I was. Then everything went black" Derek explained.

"You sound kind of crazy. Are you sure you don't want my mom to examine you?" Zoe asked worriedly. "I'm perfectly fine. You know what? If you don't want to help me understand what's going on here, I'll do it myself" Derek said and walked away.

"Luna!" Neville called and hugged her. Luna returned the hug, laughing. "Hey, Nev, how are you?"

Neville pulled away from the hug. "Very well. I'm just getting some herbs for Hogwarts and you? What's it like living as a Muggle?" he asked curiously. "Let's guess. It's boring" one of the twins began. "And you want to go back and run the shop with us" the other twin finished. "Well, you know, a witch can't lead a normal life, no matter how hard she tries. It's actually not that boring in Beacon Hills. I've made friends and noticed that I'm a twin magnet, since I have twin friends again" Luna explained with a grin.

"Are they as good as us?" asked Fred. "Fred, they can never be as good as us" said George, making everyone laugh.

"Hey!" the Bennett twins complained. "We're better!"

"Okay, okay. Luna, you're here for a reason, aren't you?" asked Neville. "You can't be fooled. Yes, unfortunately, I'm sorry I'm not here by lucky circumstances. Well, from my point of view" said Luna, smiling. "I need your help, Neville. You're an ace when it comes to herbs. I need these special herbs" explained Luna, handing Neville a piece of paper with the herbs listed on it.

Neville read it through and then looked at Luna. "Don't worry, I'll get them for you. Stay here and I'll be back" he said and walked through the shop to find the herbs. Luna's thoughts drifted to Derek, wondering how he was.

It was evening and Derek was walking through the streets of Beacon Hills to find Luna. When he arrived at Lydia's house, he saw Luna and Lydia saying goodbye. Derek smiled and slowly crept up to her. Luna turned around and looked at him confused. "Who are you?" the young witch asked, confused. Derek introduced himself with a smile, "My name is Derek."

"I'm Luna" the black-haired girl introduced herself with a smile. Before anyone could say anything else, Zoe ran towards them and hugged Luna. "Luna! You're back."

"Hey Z. Yes, I'm back" Luna said to her friend and broke away from the hug. Zoe noticed Derek. "Oh, you've already met my cousin" the young Bennett noted.

"Cousin? Um...yes, it looks like that" said Luna, smiling. Luna's smile disappeared for a moment when she saw someone in the distance. "Excuse me for a moment" asked Luna and went to a boy.

Derek's eyes followed her and he spotted the boy. "Who is that?" Derek asked, without taking his eyes off the two people. "That must be Harry Potter. No idea who he is, maybe her boyfriend" Zoe said and shrugged.

"What?! No, I'll never get together with Harry. I see him more as a brother or a cousin. Eeek!" complained Luna disgustedly.

Derek turned to Zoe. "So you know Luna? Why didn't you tell me?" Derek asked angrily. "I must have forgotten. Listen, I'm sorry for thinking you were crazy, but now I know you were just dreaming" Zoe apologized and patted him on the shoulder.

"I like you better in my 'dream'" Derek muttered to himself. "What did you say?" Zoe asked, not hearing. "Oh, forget it. I'm going now" Derek said, saying goodbye to her.

"Believe me, I would never treat you the way that version of me did" Zoe agreed. "Good to know" Derek said, smiling. "I've got your back, cousin" Zoe said, grinning and winking at him.

"So, here are your herbs" said Neville, interrupting young Black's train of thought as he handed her the bag. "Thank you, Neville" she said with a smile and gave him the money.

"I hope he appreciates what you're doing for him" Neville said with a smile. "Um...I don't think I understand" Luna replied, confused. "You and not understand?" asked one of the twins. "That's impossible" replied the other. "I mean the boy you're doing this for. I know you. You're doing it for someone special, someone you care about" Neville explained with a smile.

"And how I appreciate it" Derek murmured to himself and kissed Luna's hand.

"Possibly" Luna said, and the boys noticed her look. "Oh, by Merlin! Pink underwear!" one twin began. "You've fallen in love with him!" the other finished. Young Black looked at the boys, had to smile briefly, but then shook her head. "Anyway, thanks for the help. I hope we see each other again next time under better circumstances" Luna said and said goodbye to her friends before she left.

"Wait, did you have that look before or did it just start there?" Stiles asked his best friend. "I'm not saying anything about it" the black-haired girl simply replied.

"Gred, we really need to take a look at this guy" said George. "Definitely Forge" agreed Fred, which made Neville shake his head.

Derek had followed Luna onto a roof. Luna turned to him. "Are you following me?" Luna asked with her arms crossed. "I...um...I saw that you weren't feeling well when you were talking to your boyfriend" Derek explained carefully. Luna sighed and said, "Harry isn't my boyfriend. He's my father's godson, but somehow he's developed feelings for me."

"I can understand why" Derek mumbled, but Luna looked at him confused, having heard it. "What do you mean? Derek, we don't even know each other!" Luna replied. Derek looked at her and approached her. "Listen, I know what I'm about to say is going to sound weird and crazy. But I know you" Derek said, which caused Luna to scoff.

"I know that you love your family more than anything and that you would do anything for your friends" Derek began, and Luna looked at him more closely now, waiting for him to continue. "I know that you are crazy about ice cream and like every flavor" Derek said with a smile, which made Luna giggle. "I know that you hate it when someone lies to you, which is very understandable. And I know that you have visions about the future that you can't tell anyone, and that you have saved many lives" he added, finishing his list.

Luna turned her head and looked at Derek. "You listened to me?" she asked, impressed. Derek smiled at her. "What do you think?"

Derek saw her look. "I'm sorry, that sounds really crazy. You know what, just forget it" Derek said and started to leave, but Luna held his hand tightly and they both looked at each other. "You're absolutely right, that sounds crazy, but it's the truth" Luna admitted and put her other hand on Derek's cheek.

They both looked intensely into each other's eyes and came closer until their lips met and kissed gently.

Zoe and Lydia started screaming, making everyone else in the room jump. "Zoe, did you see that! They kissed!!" Lydia shouted. "Yes, I saw it, Lydia! Did you write it down?!" Zoe shouted. Lydia excitedly showed her the line, and they both screamed again.

Luna suddenly had visions of the other universe in which they knew each other more than well. She broke away from the kiss and looked at him. "What was the last thing you remember?" she asked him curiously. Derek told her the same thing he had told Zoe. "And then I woke up at home."

"It all makes sense. This place you're in now is kind of a dream. Well, more like an alternate universe. You just have to find a way to get back to your universe" Luna said. "And how do I do that?" Derek asked. "I don't know how bad your wounds are, but maybe you were hurt more seriously than you thought and that's what catapulted you here. Knowing myself, I would do anything to make you feel better" Luna explained.

"And I will help you" said Luna. "Thank you" Derek said with a smile, which Luna returned.

"Nina!" Luna called to her sister, who was just changing the rag and placing it on Derek's forehead.

"I had a great nurse" Derek said to Nina. Nina giggled and hugged him. "Of course, I was Luna's little guardian angel, and now I am yours" she explained.

"Have you found everything?" Nina asked. "I have everything. I just have to brew it together" Luna explained and went to a table where a cauldron was already waiting for her. "I want to help" Nina said, stood up and went to her. "Okay, but we have to brew the potion and look after Derek at the same time, okay?" Luna explained to her sister, who just nodded in agreement. So the sisters got ready to brew the potion.

Luna and Derek were walking through the streets when Luna stopped him by the hand. "One question: I saw everything that happened to us in your universe. Are we...well...together?" Luna asked nervously, which surprised Derek. "Um...no...well, I know what I feel, but I don't know what you feel" Derek explained, stumbling over his words. "What do you feel?" Luna asked curiously. "You know" Derek answered only because he was embarrassed.

Melissa hit Derek on the back of his head. "Ow, what was that for?" Derek asked confused, rubbing the back of his head, as he hadn't known Melissa could hit so hard.

"You're like Scott. Girls don't just want actions, they want words too. So tell her how you feel!" Melissa exclaimed

Marco laughed about Derek. "Do you want to get spanked too?" Melissa asked him. Marco cleared his throat. "No thanks" he mumbled, making his brothers laugh.

"I'd rather hear it from you" Luna said, smiling. Derek looked at her and took her hands in his. "I love you, Luna" he confessed. Luna smiled as he said this, put a hand on his cheek and kissed him. Derek put his hands around her hips and kissed her back.

"Ah, if it becomes a habit, we'll need a bigger block Lyds" Zoe said with a smile. "Definitely" Lydia agreed.

TW: Death

Luna pulled away, smiling, and was about to say something, but suddenly someone stabbed her in the stomach. "No!" Derek shouted and fell to the ground with Luna while the person disappeared.

Everyone in the room was shocked.

Derek tried to take her pain and whispered, "It's going to be okay. Okay? Just hold on. For me."

Luna's breath hitched. "I can't...I can't take your pain..." Derek said in a shaky voice. "It's because it doesn't hurt" Luna explained in a shaky voice. Derek knew what that meant. "No..."

Luna looked at him and smiled slightly. "It's okay--"

"Luna..." Derek began, not really knowing what to say. "It's okay. It's okay. It's okay" Luna whispered, causing tears to stream down Derek's cheeks. "It's perfect. I'm in the arms of my true love... The person I love and will always love...I love you...Derek...Derek Hale..." she confessed, her voice faltering. "Don't! Please, don't. Luna, don't, please" Derek begged, tears in his eyes. "I want...I want you to be happy" Luna said with her last breath before she died in Derek's arms.

Derek cried and kissed her gently on the forehead. "Luna" he whispered.

"Luna"

The sisters looked up and heard Derek whisper. "Good timing. It's ready" Luna said, rushing to Derek with Nina. "Hold him up a little and I'll give him the potion" the older Black explained to her sister.

Nina nodded and lifted Derek's head a little. Luna poured the potion into him and muttered a spell. Then they both moved away from him.

Suddenly, Derek gasped and coughed. "Luna!" Derek called out dazedly, looking around the room. The woman rushed to him and helped him sit up. "Calm down. You need to rest and-" Luna began, but was interrupted by Derek's lips kissing hers.

Luna was shocked, but happily returned the kiss. What neither of them noticed was that Nina secretly took a photo of them.

Luna and Derek looked at Nina, who just giggled innocently. "Aw, I like your sister already, Luna" Zoe said, giving Nina a high five while Lydia added another stroke.

Derek slowly pulled away from the kiss and looked at her, caressing her face as if he was afraid she might disappear soon. "I'm here. You're here. You're safe, Derek" Luna whispered, resting her forehead against his, sensing his fear.

"I had a terrible dream" he whispered and closed his eyes to better feel her presence. "I have to go to the twins. I have to see how they are" Derek whispered and wanted to get up. Luna took his hand and pushed him back into bed. "That's not possible. You have to heal first before you can help anyone. Nina and I will take care of you. I promise" Luna assured him.

Nina came over and lay down next to Derek. "She was my guardian angel, and now she's yours" Luna explained with a smile, which caused a quiet little laugh from Derek. "Are you staying?" Derek asked, not wanting her to leave. The black-haired girl smiled and nodded before laying down next to him and listening to his heartbeat.

"Aww, a little family" said Albus, and everyone looked at him. "What? I'm allowed to get sentimental too" admitted the former headmaster.
