Truth
Truth is a many-headed beast
To you it shows but one face
To others, one completely different
Each of its appearances
Are all completely true
Yet the face you see
When by another viewed
Shows ugly and horrific
A terrible thing to any but you
When Lies and Deceit
Make their unwelcome entrance
To those who look hard enough
They will find
That these two uninvited callers
Are but two heads
Of the same body called Truth
And only when seen
By an unintended audience
Will they have the visage
Of Dishonesty
The accidental audience
Looking upon a head of Truth
Not purposed for them
Will look upon it through
Two convoluted lenses
Lenses cut and shaped
By their surroundings
Changing by the second
Contorting to new forms
Every time someone is met
Is spoken to
Is interacted with
Everyone you meet
Everything you do
Changes the lenses through which you see the world
So finding Truth,
You see,
Isn't all that hard
But finding a head of Truth
That all might view the same,
A true Truth,
Unaffected by our separate perceptions,
Is nigh impossible, indeed.
