It took them one hour to reach Jeongguk's studio. Fortunately, they arrived in time for Jeongguk's practice. Taehyung, never having been to the studio, felt a little nervous and kept bombarding Jeongguk with questions of whether he would be welcomed there since he wasn't a member of the boxing club. Jeongguk had reassured him that everyone there was his friends and they would love Taehyung.

Taehyung stood in front of the glass door of the small studio now. There was only a glass entrance that viewed the long space of the studio. He could see some men inside, practising.

"You sure you wanna do this?" Jeongguk asked, looking at Taehyung from his side. Jeongguk was holding his hand and his other hand held his boxing gear, which he had stored in the trunk of his brand new Audi.

"Huh?"

"You know we can just drive off now and go somewhere else, grab a hot chocolate and hold hands while we walk down the Han River, right?"

Taehyung let out a chuckle. "Yeah but I wanted to see you practice"

"Don't get turned on because we can't fuck in here"

"You know you have such a nice car?"

"Tae!"

Taehyung let out a loud giggle. "Yeah yeah. Let's go"

Jeongguk sighed. "You sure you won't get bored?"

Taehyung pouted and hummed. "Hmm....I think I will get bored. Maybe you should take your shirt off as you practice"

Jeongguk's mouth dropped. "Oh wow. You're such a little-"

"Let's go!" Taehyung said and pushed open the glass door to the studio. Jeongguk followed him with an amused grin.

The moment Taehyung entered, he was welcomed with a gush of cold air from the air-conditioning. Much to Taehyung's surprise, the place smelled like lavender. He didn't know what he expected the place to smell like. Like sweat maybe?

"Place your shoes here," Jeongguk said, pointing at a space where there were a few shoes placed on a carpet.

Taehyung nodded and started taking off his shoes. Jeongguk took off his boots and placed them next to Taehyung's shoes. As they were finishing it up, they were approached by a tall man with a tank top.

Jeongguk straightened up and smiled at him.

"Jeongguk, I wasn't expecting to see you today," He said.

"Yeah, I decided to come since Taehyung said he wanted to see me practice," Jeongguk said. The man then looked at Taehyung then, offering him a smile. Taehyung smiled back.

"Hi I'm Tommy, Jeongguk's trainer," The man said.

"Taehyung," Taehyung said, taking Tommy's extended hand and shaking it with a small bow.

"Oh I know who you are," he said. "I mean I suppose anyone in Korea knows who you are"

Taehyung and Jeongguk let out a chuckle at that.

"But more than that, Jeongguk had told me all about you," Tommy said. "I know you're his boyfriend" The man winked.

Taehyung blushed. "Yeah, I am" He didn't expect Jeongguk's trainer to know. But from the look of it, he and Tommy seemed to be good friends.

"He wants to see me practice," Jeongguk said.

"Oh that's cool" Tommy smiled. "Go and change, let's start right away"

"Alright coach," Jeongguk said and looked at Taehyung who nodded at him. He watched the younger man walk towards the changing room.

"He told me that you guys have a date today and cancelled his practice"

"Yeah, but I wanted him to come. He shouldn't miss a practice session also" Taehyung said.

"You're so considerate. Just as Jeongguk described you to be" Tommy said.

Taehyung smiled shyly at him.

"You don't like to join our team?"

"No, I'm more of a judo guy. Been practising for a while"

"Oh yeah, Jeongguk told me. Quite impressive"

"Thank you!"

Tommy smiled. "Jeongguk told me you work out"

"Yeah sometimes, only to keep fit"

Tommy chuckled, nodding.

"He's had so many hobbies throughout the years but this and working out is the only thing he stuck to for years. I'm glad about that" Taehyung said.

"Yeah, he seems really passionate about it. He's good at it too so it would've been a waste if he stopped it. I like a balanced guy like Jeongguk"

"He's good at a lot of things," Taehyung said with a smile. "He's good at everything. But is only passionate about a few"

Tommy shook his head with a smile. "Guys like that are rare"

"True," Taehyung said. Tommy was a good person to talk to. Taehyung thought it would be awkward when he's left with him but he actually felt comfortable around the coach. Taehyung was glad for that.

A few minutes later, Taehyung saw Jeongguk coming out of the lockers with a tank top and a small towel thrown over his shoulder. He had his boxing gloves in one hand and he smiled as he walked towards Taehyung and Tommy.

"Okay buddy, let's start," The coach said and walked away from them.

Jeongguk halted in front of Taehyung and handed him the towel. "Record me"

Taehyung's eyes widened. "Why?"

Jeongguk shrugged. "I always do it. Don't you want to?"

"Oh I'd be glad to"

Jeongguk smirked.

"Take this off," Taehyung said, looking at Jeongguk's top.

Jeongguk raised an eyebrow at Taehyung with a cocky smirk. Then he gasped dramatically. "Tae! Not here! We can't have sex in public!"

"Jeongguk!" Taehyung whisper-shouted. "That's not what I meant"

Jeongguk's smirk turned into a cocky grin. He clicked his tongue and dropped his gloves on the floor. Then he winked at Taehyung right before he took off his loose tank top over his head. He pushed it in Taehyung's direction and the elder immediately clutched it in his grasp.

Taehyung's eyes scanned over Jeongguk's naked torso, observing the gorgeous expanse of ripped muscles and tattoos. He looked gorgeous. Sexy. Hot. Taehyung's huge muscle kink wasn't helping and he could feel his cheeks heating up embarrassing as he scanned Jeongguk's torso.

Fortunately, all the marks Taehyung had left on his torso had faded. He hadn't made any bruises after all. Taehyung was glad that he didn't.

Taehyung had seen him naked only a few hours ago and why was he feeling the need to squeal and hide his face at the sight? As if it was his first time seeing Jeongguk's abs? Taehyung had watched him grow up for fuck's sake.

So he looked away to hide his blush.

Jeongguk chuckled at that. "Don't forget to record me"

"You aren't posting that video anywhere! No one is going to see your practice half-naked!"

"Why? Are you jealous?"

"No, I just don't want anyone else seeing my boyfriend half-naked!"

Jeongguk chuckled. "Okay then you keep it"'

"Yeah, I will. I'll keep it in my private collection"

Jeongguk grinned. "As you please, my princess"

Taehyung blushed scarlet at the nickname. Jeongguk started walking towards the coach after picking up his gloves and putting them on.

Taehyung placed the towel and shirt on a bench and fished out his phone. He watched as Jeongguk and Tommy got into position. So he took a few steps back and held the phone with both his hands, ready to record. The moment they started counting down, Taehyung hit record.

He ended up recording the whole session. After Jeongguk took his second break, he put his shirt on. However, he took it off again after his third break, which Taehyung was glad for. He didn't know how much he captured, though. Because he wasn't looking at the phone at all. He watched Jeongguk's every move with his wide, twinkling eyes. He couldn't take his eyes off his boyfriend. The way he moved with precision, landing hits on Tommy as he was required to, and moved around the place gracefully was mesmerizing. Taehyung almost drooled.

Not to mention the fact that he was shirtless. So every time he moved, Taehyung could see the way his muscles flexed under his skin. And the fact that he had a tattoo sleeve didn't help either, regarding how Taehyung absolutely loved Jeongguk's tattoos.

So by the time Jeongguk was done, Taehyung was flustered beyond comparison. And very turned on.

Taehyung set his phone down on the bench and sat down. Jeongguk came over to him sat down next to him. He gulped down the bottle of water Taehyung handed to him and licked his lips while looking at the elder. He smirked.

"How was it?" He asked.

Taehyung looked away a little to hide the blush. However, he was an actor. Singing wasn't the only thing he was good at. "You know we should spar sometime"

Jeongguk raised his eyebrows at that, an amused smile decorating his rosy lips. "Oh?"

Taehyung nodded.

"Okay then come on," Jeongguk said, standing up.

"I know how to do this too!" Taehyung said, grinning. "I have knowledge about this, you know?"

Jeongguk laughed. "You're being cheeky"

Taehyung winked at him, making the younger boy laugh again.

"He's quite strong," A voice said, making Jeongguk and Taehyung look to their side. Taehyung saw Tommy standing a few feet away from them, dabbing his neck with a towel as he watched them.

Taehyung smiled at him.

"I'm going to hit the showers. Be right back!" Jeongguk said and hopped away towards the lockers, leaving Taehyung with Tommy.

Tommy started walking towards him. "He's been practising for a few years now, right? He's really good at boxing now. Besides, he's a quick learner. You can join us too if you want"

Taehyung laughed. Tommy had probably heard their conversation from earlier about sparing. "I'm not really into it. I do like watching him practice though"

Tommy smiled. "Well then I'm sorry to let you know that there's no way you can take him down"

Taehyung smiled, looking towards the way Jeongguk had gone. He saw Jeongguk talking with someone outside the lockers, still not having gone inside. He was still shirtless. And his pecs stood out so gorgeously that Taehyung felt the need to run to him and squeeze them.

Tommy followed his gaze, now both of them watching Jeongguk. Taehyung smirked.

"Oh I can take him"

Tommy's eyes narrowed. "What do you mean? He's strong- wait..." Tommy's expression changed from confusion to pure disbelief. "You mean in a fight, right?" He continued to stare at Taehyung with wide eyes. "Right?!"

Taehyung laughed. He threw a wink at Tommy right before he walked towards the lockers, leaving the other man speechless. Jeongguk had disappeared into the room just moments ago. Taehyung followed.

The lockers smelled like body spray. Taehyung scrunched his nose in distaste and he looked around the locker space as the door clicked shut behind him.

"Ggukkie?" He called.

"Tae!" Jeongguk called and Taehyung walked around a row of lockers to find Jeongguk fiddling with his bag that was inside of a locker. He smiled at Taehyung as he approached.

"Hey. Why are you here?" Jeongguk asked with a smile.

"Told Tommy that I can take you and I felt embarrassed to be there any longer so I came to find you"

Jeongguk burst out laughing. "Tae! That's so not you. Exhibitionism is more my kink"

"I know but I just...wanted to show off a little. No harm, since he already knows about us"

"Tommy is a good guy. He knows how to take a joke"

Taehyung nodded.

"So you think you can take me?" Jeongguk said with a smirk.

Taehyung rolled his eyes. "In every way possible"

Jeongguk pushed the t-shirt he had in his hand to his bag and looked at Taehyung. The next thing Taehyung knew, Jeongguk was slamming him against the nearest locker and pressing himself against the older man.

Jeongguk smirked right before he slammed his lips against Taehyung. The older man, who didn't expect to be kissed at that moment, let out a whimper but proceeded to kiss back. His eyes fluttered close and Jeongguk's lips pressed a little more, a wet tongue coming to lick into Taehyung's mouth. He opened his mouth to let Jeongguk do as he pleases and the younger boy licked smoothly into his mouth and kissed Taehyung sloppily.

Taehyung whimpered as Jeongguk bit down on his bottom lip. A gasp escaped him when licked his bottom lip, right where he bit down earlier. Taehyung could feel his arousal skyrocket with that simple action of Jeongguk. But this wasn't the time and place for that. Definitely not the place for-

"Jeongg-mhm" Taehyung tried, only to be silenced by Jeongguk kissing him hungrily. He thrust his tongue into Taehyung's mouth and tangled his tongue with the elder's making a groan leave his throat.

Jeongguk finally pulled away with a smirk. He then took his hands off from Taehyung's hips, where he had placed them earlier, and pinned both his arms against either side of him on the locker.

Taehyung's eyes widened. "Let me go!"

"No" Jeongguk was grinning. Taehyung struggled against him, trying to break free from the grasp but Jeongguk was strong as fuck. Stronger than Taehyung. Taehyung couldn't budge.

Jeongguk leaned in again, lips ghosting over Taehyung's once again. Taehyung gulped, his tongue automatically coming to lick his lips wet as he felt them dry up under Jeongguk's gaze. Taehyung's eyes fluttered close when he felt Jeongguk press his lips against Taehyung's softly.

However, the kiss wasn't soft for much longer. They were making out against the lockers in seconds, bodies pressed tight against each other and small noises escaping them both from time to time.

When Jeongguk finally pulled away, Taehyung was flushed red, disoriented, and in pure bliss. He let go of Taehyung's hands and leaned away a little, giving the older man a little space to gasp out breaths.

"You still think you can take me?" Jeongguk rasped.

Taehyung gulped. He flashed Jeongguk a small smile, feeling a little light-headed by the kiss.

"Maybe not in a fight" Taehyung whispered breathlessly.

Jeongguk laughed. He pressed a kiss on Taehyung's lips again and the older man kissed back. When he pulled away, he was watching Jeongguk with twinkling eyes. Taehyung stared back at the boy with the most beautiful pair of eyes in existence.

Jeongguk giggled, making Taehyung crack a smile too. The younger boy bumped his nose against Taehyung's, making him grin and butterflies erupt in his tummy from happiness. Taehyung was on top of the world, every time spent time with Jeongguk and now that he was seeing his boyfriend after what felt like years, he wanted to cherish all these moments and make the best out of them.

"Where are we going next?" Jeongguk asked breathlessly.

Taehyung smirked at his boyfriend. Oh, he had been planning this for the last few days.

"Somewhere I really want to go"

The streets of Seoul were scattered with people dressed in many layers of clothing to battle the cold that would otherwise seep into their bones. It didn't snow in December in Korea. On rare occasions, it snowed a little in the last few days of December. However, the snow starts falling around January. Regardless, the cold in December was as deathly as ever.

In winter, the azure sky disappears to make way for a dove grey heaven. The sun goes to sleep sooner than any other season, basking the world with darkness longer than it should. The nights were long and the days were shorter. The colours of Taehyung's universe don their winter coats under a dove grey sky, each hue darker and richer than before. The chill of December always took Taehyung straight into the now, into the instant of life, as the path sparkled and crunched like sugar underfoot; even without snow. Even when the flowers slept and the trees revealed their towering arms once more. There was always a smile on Taehyung's cold lips in December. As much as he enjoyed the summer, he also enjoyed the winter. Taehyung believed December brought his happiness. He was called winter bear from his childhood, after all. He was born in winter. The cold felt home to him.

It was the last few days of 2021. Christmas decorations lit up the otherwise dull streets and the bright lights seemed to cut the cold into slices. The bright colours were like a warm hug in the cold winter. Everything in December was beautiful. Bright. Colourful. And Taehyung loved it.

"What are we doing in Sinchon Street?" Jeongguk's voice came, making Taehyung look at the younger boy who held his hand.

Instead of answering his question, Taehyung smiled at him and swung their intertwined arms together as they walked down a crowded street.

After fighting about who was going to drive, Jeongguk finally agreed to let Taehyung take the wheel since the older man refused to tell Jeongguk where he planned to go So Taehyung happily drove Jeongguk's car to Sincheon street and here they were, walking down the crowded pavements filled with people who most probably knew who Taehyung and Jeongguk were.

Taehyung hoped no one would recognize them. He wanted this to be their little date. And have some peace for themselves and enjoy this to the fullest. It was already late in the evening and the darkness had consumed the skies. They wore a few layers of clothing; Jeongguk wore a t-shirt, a hoodie, and a padded black jacket while Taehyung wore a t-shirt, oversized shirt, a jacket, and a padded jacket. Both of them wore boots to keep out the cold. And with his arm wrapped around Jeongguk, he felt all the warmth he needed.

"Are you planning to take the subway again? Like we did two years ago?" Jeongguk asked.

"That sounds like a good idea! We should do that again"

"Sure, Tae. But we don't have time for that now. I have plans for the night"

"I know. This won't take long. I really wanted to see this"

"What is it?"

Taehyung stopped in the middle of the street, making Jeongguk halt too. Jeongguk's eyebrows furrowed in confusion and he was about to say something when Taehyung pointed in front of him. Jeongguk followed his hand and soon, his face relaxed.

Before them was a huge doll.

Jeongguk gasped. "Is that...is that you?!"

Taehyung grinned and dragged Jeongguk towards the decoration before them. They halted in front of the massive doll of Taehyung, wearing a squid game outfit.

"It's your birthday event!" Jeongguk exclaimed.

"Yes!" Taehyung giggled. "I wanted to see it!"

"Oh my! This is huge" Jeongguk said. Taehyung let go of Jeongguk's arm and started looking around the replica with a huge smile on his face. His heart was hammering in his chest with happiness and excitement. He had seen his birthday decorations a few times in the last eight years as an idol. However, every time the decorations just seem to be getting better. And more expensive!

"It even has a tiger tail!" Taehyung laughed as he went around the doll. He pointed at the tail on the doll's side. The doll and the lanterns around it were lit up, making it the brightest thing in the whole street. It could be seen from far away. Passersby looked at the doll since it grabbed everyone's attention.

"Wow, this must've cost a lot. And this place...it's such a busy street" Jeongguk said, taking his phone out to take pictures.

"Right?" Taehyung said, mesmerized.

"Let's take a selfie" Jeongguk said, coming towards Taehyung with his phone. He grabbed Taehyung and faced their back to the doll as Jeongguk clicked some pictures.

A few passers-by shot them looks and Taehyung gulped, feeling embarrassed. He hoped they didn't recognize them.

"Stay there. I'll take pictures of you"

Taehyung nodded quietly and stood in front of the doll. After a few seconds, basically, everyone who passed by was looking at Taehyung. Taehyung wanted to hide himself.

"I'm a little embarrassed...are you done? Let's leave" Taehyung said to Jeongguk.

Jeongguk smiled and nodded. "Yeah"

"There's more over there, I think. Close to the main road. Let's go"

"Whoa really? Okay let's go" Jeongguk said and took Taehyung's hand in his before they started walking down the street again.

They walked a few meters and saw another birthday decoration. This one was designed exclusive showcase based on the impression of Taehyung's solo songs. Taehyung grinned as he paused to admire all of the beautiful decorations. He walked from one decoration to the other, looking at them with heart eyes.

"The singularity one is so pretty," Jeongguk said as he took photos of each one.

Taehyung walked towards him and stood in front of the singularity decoration. "It really is. I love it"

"Stay here. I'll take a photo of you"

"There's no need!" Taehyung protested.

"You'll look beautiful in front of it. Come on" Jeongguk said and dragged Taehyung towards the decoration. Taehyung sighed and stood in front of it, letting Jeongguk click some photos of him. After much nagging, Jeongguk managed to take photos of Taehyung in front of every decoration. He also took a video of Taehyung walking past the decorations, which was Taehyung's request so that he could thank their fans and post it on Instagram to let them know he visited the decorations.

After Taehyung had taken his time carefully observing every detail of each decoration and taking photos, they walked towards the other decorations. Since that area was filled with people, they only passed by silently, not wanting to get noticed. After Taehyung decided they should go back to the car and take off, they started walking down the busy street of Sincheon.

When they reached the car, Jeongguk insisted he drive because the next part of their day together was Jeongguk's so-called date. Taehyung was confused as to what this date may be. He thought it was just a museum date or that they would go to some restaurant to eat. However, it didn't seem like either of those possibilities.

As they drove through the streets of Seoul, Taehyung watched the buildings pass them by in a blur of colour. He was smiling, listening to the music that played on the radio, and bopping his head to the beat. Jeongguk stole glances at him every once in a while, a smile coming to stretch his lips upwards every time he caught the older man's eyes.

Taehyung was unimaginably happy.

Jeongguk stopped at some shop to "grab some stuff", according to Jeongguk but he didn't tell Taehyung what that stuff was. He had left Taehyung in the car for around ten minutes and when he came back holding a few paper bags that looked quite heavy, he stacked them in the back seat of his car carefully before sliding back into the driver's seat.

"What are those?" Taehyung asked as Jeongguk buckled himself up.

"Hmm? Oh something I ordered for our date"

"Where are we going? What are we doing?"

"You'll find out soon enough, baby," JEongguk said as he started the engine.

"Tell me. I'm curious"

"Do you trust me?"

"What? What kind of a question is that? I would trust you with my life"

"Then shut that pretty, kissable mouth of yours and wait till we get there. It's a surprise"

Taehyung pouted and folded his hands against his chest.

Jeongguk laughed from beside him and leaned across him to peck Taehyung's lips. It was when he drew away, that Taehyung finally cracked a smile.

"You know my weakness" Taehyung grumbled.

"Of course" Jeongguk winked at him and started driving away.

They drove in silence. It was just the two of them together; music a low hum as streetlights illuminated their faces once in a while. A soft conversation built up between them unbeknownst to either of them and soft giggles followed. Jeongguk kept his wild eyes on the road but stole glances at Taehyung every once in a while. Did the younger man not know that he knew it every time he glanced at him from the corner of his eyes? When their gazes met, rarely but not impossibly, Taehyung would smile to himself, a puff of air leaving his nose making Jeongguk let out a small chuckle himself.

Can't Help Falling in Love by Elvis Presley played softly on the radio and Taehyung hummed alone, attempting to sing it as quietly as possible. He wasn't sure of the words, even though it was one of his favourite songs in existence. Jeongguk knew the lyrics. Classic music wasn't exactly his taste but he never ignored any of Taehyung's requests to listen to a song or a whole album when he recommended them.

In fact, Jeongguk knew all of Taehyung's favourite songs. Word to word. He had such a great memory but more than that, what amused Taehyung is how Jeongguk could remember the lyrics of songs that weren't even his taste. The younger boy only replied to his with "it's because your favourite songs are my favourites". Taehyung could only smile as his heart leapt with love.

"Tae! That's not how it goes!" Jeongguk said now, his voice whiny.

"Huh?" Taehyung asked, wondering what the boy meant. He had been singing along to the song playing softly.

"It goes like 'Like a river flows, surely to the sea. Darling so it goes. Somethings are meant to be'" Jeongguk said.

"That's what I said!"

"You messed it up. You said 'dare it goes'. It should be 'darling so it goes'"

"That's such a small mistake!"

"Baby you should remember the lyrics of your favourite songs"

"Why should I, when you do it for me?"

Jeongguk shook his head. "You're impossible"

Taehyung grinned. They stopped at a red light. Jeongguk looked at Taehyung and placed his hand on the elder's thigh. A new song had started playing on the radio. This time, Fly Me to the Moon played. Jeongguk's hand slowly caressed his sigh, thumb carving invisible patterns into his trousers. Taehyung smiled, a sigh escaping his lips as his head fell lax on the headrest behind him.

When Jeongguk started driving again, the hand didn't move. It wasn't heavy on Taehyung's thigh, especially when Jeongguk started to tap his beautiful, slender fingers to the beat of the song. He hummed the tune and Taehyung listened. He would rather listen to Jeongguk's humming than the song that played.

Taehyung turned his head to look at the younger boy. He looked so cool, driving with only one hand. The lights from streetlights and neon signs illuminated his porcelain skin, making him look like he were in a nightclub. The darkness around them and the lights that reflected off his face brought out all the sharp edges of him. He looked extremely handsome. And beautiful. Taehyung felt a little breathless at the sight. He felt really lucky to be able to receive the love of such a perfect human being like Jeongguk.

It always feels like home to be around Jeongguk. Taehyung always felt so safe. Jeongguk's presence was the epitome of comfort.

"Staring is rude, you know?" Jeongguk's voice came making Taehyung break from his trail of thoughts.

"Not when it's you," Taehyung said. "You're rather good to look at"

Jeongguk giggled.

"How much longer would it take?" Taehyung asked, looking at Jeongguk.

"Not sure. Like twenty minutes? It's not that far away"

"We've been driving for like twenty minutes!"

"Good things take time, you know?!"

Taehyung shook his head, smiling.

"If you're tired, you can take a quick nap, you know?" Jeongguk said.

"And why would I do that and miss out on any second in your presence? I met you after weeks. I want to savour this feeling of being close to you because I missed it so much"

Jeongguk grinned. His hand tightened around Taehyung's thigh and his fingers reached the inner part of his thigh. He stroked his inner thigh a few times before it rested on there like before.

"Oh! I almost forgot!" Taehyung exclaimed.

Jeongguk raised his eyebrows at Taehyung. "What?"

Taehyung fished his phone out from his pocket. "I wanted to upload some pics and let the fans know that I went to see the birthday decorations"

"Oh yeah you should do that"

"Yeah" Taehyung muttered and unlocked his phone. He opened Instagram and started going through the pictures he had taken. It was then he realized that he doesn't have any he had taken of himself. Jeongguk had taken all the pics.

"Baby the pictures of me are in your phone," Taehyung said, looking at the man in the driving seat.

"Oh yeah"

Taehyung took Jeongguk's phone, which was in the space between the seats, and unlocked it. "I'm going to upload from your phone"

"Sure. Do you remember the password to your account?" Jeongguk said with a smile.

"Yeah because I made it recently" Taehyung grinned.

"Is it a variation of the one you use for every one of your accounts?" Jeongguk grinned.

Taehyung clicked his tongue. "You know, it should be illegal to know so many things about someone else"

Jeongguk laughed.

Taehyung smiled and logged into his account. He went through all the pictures Jeongguk had taken, which was like more than fifty. Majority of them were eof Taehyung: Taehyung looking at the decorations, touching them, kneeling down to look at them, him taking photos, him smiling, talking, and pointing. It seemed like Jeongguk had captured almost all the moments of Taehyung throughout the time he spent at the street. Moreover, there were so many videos. So many of him just walking, looking around, and talking.

After much difficulty, Taehyung found a few videos to post. The majority of the videos were useless. It was just him talking or just looking at the pictures or taking photos. Jeongguk had taken so many photos and videos and it took Taehyung way more time than he should to finally find some good enough and useful ones to post.

"Done," Taehyung said as he finished up his work.

"The fans would be happy to see that you went to see their work"

Taehyung smiled. "Yeah. I posted on both apps"

"When did you ask them about it?"

"Yesterday. I got a lot of replies and there are so many projects around the world! It's amazing"

"Really? Whoa"

"We should go see yours next year"

"Sure" Jeongguk smiled. "I saw Jimin's one last October. It was amazing too. I couldn't go to mine. I kind of wanted to but I think I forgot about it because of all the work"

"Yeah we were so busy," Taehyung said with a sigh.

Jeongguk agreed with a hum. The last few months, even before they decided to host a concert, they had been so busy. Their schedules were only getting tighter towards the end of the year and they have so many shootings to do than in the previous years. So much more content for fans.

They were driving along a narrow road now. The area was no longer filled with brightly lit buildings. A small building or two passed them by every once in a while but even those were small. There were many trees on either side of the road and there weren't many people on the roads either. They had passed the city and were now in the countryside, Taehyung realized after a while.

Taehyung had never taken this route anywhere so he didn't know where Jeongguk was driving to. However, he still kept quiet. He liked surprises, after all. And whenever Jeongguk planned something, he never disappointed. He always went all in. He was such a perfectionist. Taehyung loved and hated that about him.

They had reached an even narrower road now, and there were only two lanes, even though it looked like the main road. There were no buildings whatsoever on either side of the road. Other than a street lamp every few meters. There weren't many vehicles on the road either, so Jeongguk pushed the accelerator and sped up. The engine roared as the car smoothly rolled down the road with many bends.

From the look of it, they were on the cliffside.

Just as Jeongguk said, after around twenty minutes, Jeongguk parked his car in somewhere that looked like an abandoned car park. Taehyung looked around through his car window. Everything around him looked dark, except for the light that came from a street lamp a few meters away from the spot they had parked.

"Wait there," Jeongguk said to Taehyung, who eyes him with confusion. "I'll call you when I'm ready"

"Are you going to propose to me?"

Jeongguk sighed. "If I was about to, you'd have ruined it by asking me that. Don't ask me that again!"

"Yeah because you aren't going to do it"

"What? Why not?"

"It's me going down on one knee for you. Not the other way around"

"Ugh you're impossible! Shut up and wait till I call you"

"But like I wouldn't want to be proposed to in a place as dark as this anyway. It's pretty dark in here" Taehyung babbled.

"Tae!"

Taehyung shrugged. "I'm just saying"

"I can't propose to you even if I wanted. Same-sex marriages are illegal in Korea, remember?"

"I know. Do you think the president will legalize it if we tell him we're in love with each other?"

Jeongguk burst out laughing. "I love your brain"

Taehyung ginned. "I was serious!"

Jeongguk shook his head. "We have a few more years until we start thinking about marriage, yeah? I'm still a child"

Taehyung scoffed. "You sure as hell don't look or act like one!"

"Hyung!" Jeongguk whined. "Let me go! I've planned this date for weeks!"

"Fine. Go"

Jeongguk grinned. He leaned towards Taehyung and pecked his cheek before sliding out of the car seat. He let the door click shut behind him.

A few minutes later, he heard Jeongguk open the trunk and then heard some ruffling. Taehyung's curiosity had filled him to the brim. He couldn't wait to see what Jeongguk was up to. And it's almost been ten minutes!

Another few minutes later, he heard Jeongguk walk towards the car and the door of the passenger seat opened.

Taehyung saw Jeongguk standing outside with a soft smile.

"Come out," Jeongguk said.

"I'm gay"

"Oh my god, congratulations! I never could've guessed!"

Taehyung ginned. "Thank you!"

"Okay now get out of the car," Jeongguk said.

Taehyung eyed Jeongguk, a playful smile playing on his lips. He slid out of the passenger seat and stood up in front of the younger boy.

Jeongguk then walked around him and placed his hands on the elder's shoulders.

"Close your eyes," Jeongguk said behind Taehyung.

"What for?!"

"It's a surprise!"

"Are you trying to kidnap me?"

Jeongguk chuckled. "I've already kidnapped you and locked you away in my heart"

"Oh how romantic" Taehyung said with a melancholic tone.

"Shut up and close your eyes," Jeongguk grumbled, reaching out from behind to cover the older man's eyes with his hands. Taehyung let his eyes flutter shut and he felt Jeongguk cover his eyes with his cold hands.

Why were his hands cold? Taehyung let the thought slip as he felt Jeongguk press himself against Taehyung's back.

"Walk" Jeongguk ordered Taehyung and the older man started walking. Jeongguk placed one hand that previously covered Taehyung's eyes on his shoulder as he led Taehyung towards wherever they were going. Taehyung kept his eyes closed deciding not to be a brat and ruin Jeongguk's surprise which he seemed to have planned for weeks.

After around a minute, they stopped. Taehyung felt Jeongguk take his hands off and the older man was now standing by himself without anyone's support.

"Open your eyes" he heard Jeongguk whisper behind him. He could feel the younger boy's presence behind him and could feel his breath fan against the back of his neck.

Taehyung slowly let his eyes flutter open.

The sight in front of him made him gasp out loud. His mouth was agape with surprise and his eyes scanned the scenery in front of him.

Before him, was one of the most beautiful cityscapes he had ever seen. He was standing on the edge of a cliff, there was a metal railing right in front of him and behind it was the side view of Seoul.

The lights from buildings were bright against the darkness of the heavens. The buildings looked like boxes of matches for how small they looked. Neon signs of the city far away looked like hundreds and thousands of tiny rainbows with their bright colours.

Vehicles that looked like toys swerved through the highways with their headlights lighting up the road before them. It looked magical as if looking at the city with some magic ball and Taehyung couldn't believe that he was actually able to see the city from a bird's eyes view.

The city of Seoul had the light of millions of souls.

The view in front of him was a constellation of lights as if each one was a star on earth. It was mesmerizing to even think about; how each light had a purpose and maybe the lights that lit up the night sky weren't only from the lights of buildings and signs and vehicles. But also the light of thousands and millions of people that shone brightly. A mikrocosmos.

The moon was a wraith-silver disc hanging in the lonely sky. Lasers of moonlight, as bright as diamond-flame, turned the city aglow like melted platinum. It was as if Taehyung was watching a scene from an old fable stepping off the page and he was beguiled by the beauty before him.

Taehyung let out a deep sigh. "Jeongguk" he whispered.

Jeongguk stood by him, looking at Taehyung with a gentle smile and twinkling eyes.

"This is so beautiful!" Taehyung said breathlessly. He turned and wrapped his arms around the younger man's neck. "Thank you"

"Do you like this place?"

"I...I love it, Jeongguk. I can't even believe that such a beautiful place even existed in Seoul! And oh my god! This is just so amazing!"

Jeongguk grinned at him and took his hand in his own. "There's more"

"More!?" Taehyung exclaimed.

Jeongguk nodded and turned around. He inclined his head to the side. Taehyung, confused, followed Jeongguk's gaze as he turned around.

Behind him was Jeongguk's car. However, it wasn't just the car.

On the car's small trunk was a blanket a bunch of throw pillows, and a basket. Taehyung took a step towards the car, still a little bewildered. He peeked at the basket and realized that it was filled with food. Taehyung's mouth dropped open.

"A picnic?!"

"More or less" Taehyung could hear the smile in Jeongguk's voice. "I call this a car date"

Taehyung, mouth still hanging slack from surprise took a few more steps towards the car until he was leaning against the car from his knees.

"You prepared all these?!" Taehyung exclaimed.

"Yeah. Do you like it?"

Taehyung turned around to face Jeongguk. He was speechless. So instead of giving Jeongguk a reply, he walked towards him and wrapped his arms around the younger man.

Jeongguk immediately returned the embrace; tight and warm. Taehyung sighed against his shoulder, inhaling Jeongguk's scent. He closed his eyes for a few seconds and took deep breaths as he felt his heart hammer in his chest with joy. He was overwhelmed with happiness.

So he drew away from Jeongguk and kissed him.

Jeongguk smiled against Taehyung's mouth but soon started kissing Taehyung with the same intensity. Taehyung licked into Jeongguk's mouth smoothly and the younger voluntarily opened his mouth and let himself be kissed.

When Taehyung finally pulled away, Jeongguk slowly opened his eyelids to reveal a pair of pitch-black eyes that glowed with millions of stars.

"I take it that you like it?" Jeongguk said a little breathlessly.

"I love it" Taehyung whispered. "I can't believe you seriously prepared all of this just for me"

"I planned for the last few weeks when you weren't with me"

Taehyung shook his head from disbelief. "You didn't have to!"

"I wanted to!"

Taehyung sighed and smiled at Jeongguk. He let go of Jeongguk and walked back to the car. The backseat was folded to give the whole trunk more space. When did he do that? And there was so much food! Buns, plastic packs of different food, sushi, and some containers with biscuits and snacks. There were two plastic cups with some drinks. Some hot beverage, Taehyung guessed. Lastly, was the bottle of champagne.

"Sit," Jeongguk said from Taehyung's behind and Taehyung sat on the blanket thrown over the trunk. Jeongguk joined him and he moved the basket between them. Taehyung smiled and took a throw pillow. He placed it on his lap and looked at Jeongguk, who was smiling at him.

Taehyung's legs hung from the trunk, not quite reaching the gravel. When he looked before him, he could see the view of the city, as mesmerizing as before.

"God, this is so perfect" Taehyung whispered dreamily, eyes scanning the scenery before him.

"I'm glad you like it, baby"

"I can't express with words how happy I am right now. I've always dreamt of going on a date to see the city like this. And this- this is more than what I bargained for"

Jeongguk grinned at him and took out the bottle of champagne. He fished out two champagne flutes and handed one to Taehyung, who took it with a smile. Jeongguk, with much difficulty, pulled out the cork and poured Taehyung a glass. The older man then took the bottle from Jeongguk and poured the younger's glass.

They clinked glasses, wide smiles reaching their eyes.

"To us," Taehyung said. "To a beautiful future with you"

"To us," Jeongguk said. "Cheers"

"Cheers"

Taehyung and Jeongguk downed the yellowish liquid. When they both placed their glasses on the basket. Jeongguk started taking out the stuff he had bought out and handed things over to Taehyung.

"I bought all the stuff you like"

"Ramen?"

"Yep," Jeongguk said. "And sushi. And hot chocolate. And jajangmyeon. And chicken wrap. And dinner buns with mayonnaise and chicken"

Taehyung gasped. "All of my favourite food?!"

"Yes!"

"Why are you the best boyfriend in the world?"

Jeongguk giggled. He placed the food between them, arranging them neatly. He handed Taehyung a plastic plate.

"I brought a flask with hot water to make ramen. Hope it's still hot"

"You brought that from home?"

"Yeah. I bought the others on my way, though" Jeongguk said. "I bought the sushi, jajangmyeon, and chicken wrap when we stopped earlier"

"Oh wow. You've really planned this out. I'm impressed. This is like the best surprise ever, Jeongguk. I'm so happy"

"Your happiness is my happiness"

"You're the best boyfriend anyone could have. Too bad you're only mine"

"Only yours"

Taehyung smiled as he watched Jeongguk arrange the food and place the basket on the floor.

"I even brought my laptop if you want to watch a movie"

"Oh my god"

"Or we can just cuddle after we eat. This is an isolated spot and I may have reserved this walking path for the night" Jeongguk muttered the last part.

"You what?!"

"I wanted to make sure no one enters this park so we can do whatever we want! And there are no cameras or security guards. Besides, no one really comes here at night. It's a hiking path people usually come in the morning. It's going to be closed until we leave"

"Jeongguk!"

"I wanted to have an outdoor date without getting caught by paparazzi! I wanted to kiss you outside and cuddle you and show you how much I love you without worrying about when anyone would catch us"

"Jeongguk" Taehyung whispered. He took Jeongguk's hand in his and kissed his knuckles. "I love you so much"

Jeongguk smiled. "I love you too, Tae"

"You always make sure everything is perfect and that's really admirable about you, you know?"

Jeongguk blushed and looked away. "Shut up" He muttered with a smile.

Taehyung grinned. "You're so perfect"

"Tae!" Jeongguk whined.

Taehyung squeezed Jeongguk's hand. "I don't want to watch a movie"

"Okay"

"You said we're alone. I want to watch the stars and the moon and watch the city lights with you"

"Yes! We're alone! So we can cuddle"

"No, Jeongguk"

"Huh?"

"I must show you how much I love you under the stars"
