a boy no more than 10 walks in the forest. he walks alone in the dark the stars being his guide, only stopping til he gets to a willow tree. he stares at the tree walking closer and closer til he's rights in front of it. slowly he climbs a branch that's not to high nor to low, and that's hidden from view. he leans back and sighs looking at the stars and the moon, he starts to drift off, closing his eyes he falls asleep.
a girl no more then 10 runs blindly through the forest tears coming down her face. she only stops when she can't run anymore and looks up to see a willow tree. she walks to the tree and sit down at it's base still crying. her sobs aren't loud but being so deep in the forest it echoes like a bird's call.
a boy who was asleep on a branch stirred lightly when he heard the sobs. he looked down and saw the girl hugging her knees to her chest. he climbs down and leans in front of her looking curiously.
a girl gasps feeling someone's eyes on her. she looked up and gasped staring at the boy in front of her trying wipe her tears away.
a boy grabs the girls hand gently and wipes her tears away instead. he stares at her while she stares right back. he looks down at their intertwined hand and brought it up to their face.
a girl stares at their hand showing a small smile. she grips his hand tighter feeling him doing the same.
a boy maneuvers his position to sit next to the girl keeping hands together. the girl looked at him and put her head on his shoulder looking at him then to the moon.
a girl resting her head down his shoulder looking at there nightlight. the moon shining down at them. "my name is Orion"
a girl broken out of her trance looks at the boy shyly telling her name. "mine's lyra" she put her head back on his shoulder drifting to sleep feeling safe with her new friend.
a boy smiling at the girl, rested his head on the tree staring at the moon. his eyes closed once again the stars being their nightlight.
a girl and a boy who just met and yet feel safe with each other both believing it was fate for them to meet underneath this willow tree.
