KABUTO
"Say Kabuto, do you believe Kakashi Hatake will be a worthy vessel of mine?" Orochimaru's licks his lips in anticipation.
"Yes my lord, but will he not be the same as Kimimaru? And he didn't end up too well", I reply. Both had Kekkai Genkai yes, and Kakashi is strong but I'm still sceptical.
"Hush! I have specifically chosen him because his powers and connections to the Leaf Village will create more devastation than I ever imagined! I will be immortal using his body! HeheheHAHAHAHA!", he splutters and coughs as his cracked laugh envelops the dark cavern. No light except a small candle in the middle of the room can be seen. I can see his eerie face within the shadows, lonely and shrivelled.
"I don't think that vessel you're using now will last much longer, he'd better get here soon enough", I say. I'm fearful for what is to come.
"Oh he will", Orochimaru is confident. "That's if he can stop killing innocent people".

SASUKE
My heart begins to thump dramatically in my chest. Badump. Badump. Badump. It's pace is rapidly increasing and I'm forced to stop and my breath becomes raspy. It's like my lungs are lacking air. I clutch my chest with my hand so much that it hurts. Naruto notices and stops right away.
"Sasuke? Are you okay?!" I grabs my shoulders and shakes me.
"What's going on with you, can you hear me?! Sasuke!" His efforts are futile, I lose consciousness and delve into pitch blackness.

I can hear the crackling of a camp fire and the smell flows though my nose. My eyes open and I see Sakura beside me, crying.
"Oh Sasuke you're alright!" She hugs me and I'm caught by surprise. It feels comforting, kinda nice......
"Hey! GET OFF ME!" I push her away forcefully, I was still in a daze. She looks at me right in the eyes, they are still sparkling from tears. I look away and notice everyone is staring at me. It seems we have stopped and are camping out for the night, everyone is eating around the flames.

"Hey Sasuke, what happened to you? I thought I heard some loud screams behind me, and I saw you fall off the tree branch then Naruto jump to save you, shouting his absolute head off", Lee seems concerned, it's scary, I've never seen him in this kind of serious state. Wait, NARUTO SAVED ME?! Oh no, my worst nightmare has come true. He's going to be boasting about this for months. I move my gaze around the faces and I see him, he doesn't seem happy at all. Am I seeing this right? His eyes are focused on the fire, and his eyes burn with something strange, is it anger? I get up and sit next to him, this feels so rare for me, I NEVER sit next to this brat.

"So um, Naruto......", I avert my eyes. "Thanks for saving me I guess". I say. He ignores me, continuing to be absorbed by the flickering heat in front of him. I try again, "Naruto, I owe you a debt, I can treat too to Ichiraku ramen?" Still, he takes no notice of me. I've had it. "NARUTO, HELLO? YOU THERE? IM GLAD YOUR MIND WAS SANE ENOUGH TO THINK OF ME!" As I get up, he looks at me.

NARUTO
"You said some strange things as I was carrying you here", I finally say to him. Sasuke is freaking me out, I don't want to be involved with him at the moment.
"What do you mean STRANGE?" He growls. I didn't want to say this to him, but since he's as mad as ever I may as well satisfy him.
"You were babbling about Orichumaru and some other stuff..... mumbling 'No! Don't! He's not supposed to be the vessel!' You were crying, like a baby does when they wake up. You whispered in distress 'Please, don't do this to him' and......" I trail off.
"And WHAT?! And I'm NOT a baby Naruto!" Kiba and Shikamaru laugh. I'm glad some people are finding this amusing, totally lifts the mood. Saskue has simmered a bit now, now that he knows what's going on.
".... you said 'Please don't take Kakashi, take me instead'". I shut my mouth and he's giving me death threats though eye contact.
"Like I believe you", he stomps off and grabs a bowl of soup. The others look at me in sympathy, Shikamaru shrugs. So much for their support, I guess they are as scared of Sasuke as I am. I was the one who saw him nearly turn to the darkness. Watched him change into a hateful shinobi who planned to abandon his village, brimming with overwhelming evil chakra.

SASUKE
I'm pretty sure Orochimaru will NOT take Kakashi as a vessel, he's in a perfectly good one at the moment as far as I can remember, which lasts about 4 years. There is no way he could. He still has some time left, a year at most. After gulping down the food, we all settle and put out the fire. I'm still wide awake by the time it's around midnight. I force myself to remember what happened today. First my heart was practically beating out of my chest, I started coughing then fainted I think, causing me to fall to the ground. Naruto must have jumped and saved me just in time and had to carry me the rest of the way, to this place at least. I turn over and curl up to keep myself warm, I need to sleep to regain my strength.

'Is Kakashi here yet?' I can see a man in glasses, candlelight reflecting off them.

'No my lord, I don't know what's keeping him, the snake definitely bit him and left a mark'.

'I know we can count on him' I see a sickly smile on a pale face. Dark eyes that are full sinister visualisations. Greasy, black, long hair that covers half his face. 'Takes time is all'.

I wake up gasping for air. I sit up and gaze at the sky full of stars, trying to calm myself. The moon is full illuminates the terrain, casting shadows behind the trees. Everyone else is asleep, I lie back down and hope I don't dream anything else. It can't be true, they're probably just nightmares.
