NARUTO
I wait at the door Sakura's house for her and Sasuke. Who's the late one now? As I'm beginning to congratulate myself, Sasuke appears in front of me out of thin air.
"Is Sakura ready to go?" He asks me.
"Ummm I'm not sure-
"Yup sure am!" As if on cue, Sakura bursts out of the door, practically falling into Sasuke. In a nick of time, he whisks back to avoid her. A little disheartened, she looks at me.
"Well, let's meet with the others", she says. Since we don't have a lot of time, we decide to run to the South Gate. We pass the various stores within the village, families who are out for the day, and many fellow ninja, just like us, who are heading out or coming back from their missions. I'm proud of my village and am lucky to be a part of it.

Everyone else is already there, obviously waiting for us. I hear Akamaru bark in greeting and he runs over to us.
"Hiya boy! I still can't you believe you were a tiny puppy not that long ago". I pat him on the head and rustle his ears.
"Hey Akamaru! Come back here!" Kiba runs over. "He's coming on this mission because his sense of smell might come in handy", he tells us.
"Figured", Sasuke says before heading to see the others.
"He's always in a bad mood isn't he?" Kiba says to Sakura and I. I nod in agreement but Sakura watches Sasuke.
"Something wrong?" I ask.
"Oh..... it's nothing".

Shikamaru has already started forming plans of our departure with the others. We all listen in, Shino, Hinata, Kiba, Lee, TenTen, Neji and my team.
"So we have been told to meet up with the Sand ninja as soon as we arrive in their village. We shouldn't run into any troubles along the way, but just to be safe, I have come up with a strategy. Neji will be at the back, as he has the Byakugan, Hinata will be second to the front, this way we have two long range viewpoints. Kiba will be in front, coupled with Akamaru they will guide us to our destination. After Hinata, it will go Lee, Sasuke, Naruto, myself, TenTen, Sakura and Shino. Is that clear to everyone?"
"Yeah! I'm ready to go!" I pump my first into the air. Sakura smacks her hand on her forehead.
"You haven't changed one bit Naruto", Neji says.
"I agree with his ninja way!" Lee kicks the air. At least someone understands me.... even if it is Bushy Brow.
"Ugh, what a drag". Shikamaru sighs. "Everyone, let's head out!"
We power out through the village together.

The village is gradually fading away from view as we rush through the forest. My comrades whizz beside me and I give a thumbs up to Shikamaru, who is behind me. He grunts in reply, such a lively guy he is. Sasuke, in front, elevates himself off the tree branches, practically gliding through the air like a bird. He's so full of himself, good looks and all. No one in the village would admire me as much as everyone else does for him. I don't even understand why he's so popular, his personality is absolute trash. Although, he seems to be a little afraid of something, I saw his face before, it was burrowed in worry.

SASUKE
Why do I have to be stuck in between the weird Bushy Brow kid and the cursed Naruto? What have I done to deserve THIS!? At least we haven't run into anything suspicious, I just want to get to the village of the Sand as quickly as possible. I have to confirm my hunches. I kick off a branch with such force that I almost lose balance within the air. I sure hope Naruto didn't see that, he would bag me for it the rest of my life - 'Hahaha! I saw Saskue tragically fall midair right in front my eyes! But of course I was there to save him and dived in after him. I basically saved his life'. A chill winds up my spine, I can vividly imagine it. I keep myself steady for the rest of the journey, I can't take any risks.

SAKURA
Arrrrrghhhhh! Why did I have to be at the back with the bug freak behind me?! I sure hope Sasuke is okay, he's acting really strange. I can't see him from where I am, we have spread out 10 metre intervals to cover as much distance as possible as a team. The sun is high in the sky now and it's harsh rays blind my eyes between the gaps in the trees, it's like a huge flashing torch. We would be a far way from our village by now, closer to the border between the Land of Fire and the Land of Wind. Though, we still have a while to go before we reach their village.

KAKASHI
What is this immense feeling? I feel..... powerful. My body is.....changing.

His fresh curse mark activates.

This..... gives me such POWER! He speeds off into the direction of the Sand Village, now with long white hair and something unique within his eyes, nothing at all like the Sharingan. Sand flows around his feet like water and he is running so fast that if someone saw him, he would flash past in the blink of an eye. The plains of the Land of the Wind now has a newly created evil.

He is out of control, searching for his first victims.
