**********FlameClan Camp**********

"It's time." The cat thought gazing around at their clan.

Berrydawn, Darkeye, and Iceflower were leaving camp on a hunting patrol, Dustfall, Foreststar, and Hawkeye on border patrol.

As soon as his parents left the camp Spiritkit ran over to the medicine cat's den. "Brownpaw! Oaklight!" he called.

"Yes?" Brownpaw said looking down at the younger tom.

"I''m going to be an apprentice tomorrow, just like you!!" Spiritkit squeaked excitedly

"Not just like me. You will be a warriors apprentice." Brownpaw said blandly.

"Watch where you are stepping." Oaklight snapped at Spiritkit as he stepped on a herb.

"Oof, sorry..." He said looking down sadly for a second before brightening up and running out to see Woodchase.

Oaklight sighed as he watched the kit run out of the den.

The hunting patrol came back with the sun setting. The border patrol had returned a bit earlier.

Spiritkit ran up to his mother almost knocking her over, "What did you bring me?!"

She put down the prey she was carrying and motioned with her tail for Dustfall to join them. "Here, have this." she said pushing a mouse towards Spiritkit.

She started plucking the feathers off of the dove she chose for herself, leaving another mouse for Dustfall. Spiritkit ate his mouse tail swinging happily. "Thank you, Darkeye!" he said gleefully when he had finished.

His mother just nodded as she stood up and headed towards the nursery. Some of the cats watched Darkeye as she went passed them. Spiritkit ran after her into the den. The rest of the clan dispersed as the moon started to rise.

Spiritkit woke up and looked around. Darkeye was still sleeping in a nest beside him. Spiritkit sneaks his way out of the den and into the clearing. He started heading for the dirt-place when suddenly a cat stepped out in front of him, "Shouldn't you be in bed." They said with a growl as Spiritkit looked up at them.

Spiritkit let out a cry as the murderer bit down on his throat. It was over instantly.

Darkeye frowned when she woke up Spiritkit missing, "Spiritkit?" She called.

A scream from the clearing alerted her and she ran out of the nursery to see Spiritkit dead......

She let out a yowl of sadness as she raced over and threw her body over his licking him rapidly. Then she noticed the bite marks on his neck and began to weep as Dustfall tried to comfort her grieve seen clearly in his eyes.

Dustfall stood up and glared towards Brownpaw, "It was you wasn't it?"

Hawkeye began glaring at Dustfall, "Why would my kit kill yours!" He snarled.

"ENOUGH!" Foreststar yowled,"we will vote." She said more calmly.

**********SplashClan Camp**********

Cindermist, Eaglepelt, and Briarheart were sharing tongues near the fresh-kill pile. Other cats looking at the three of them in disgust.

Greygaze walked over to the clan pool and called the cats over for patrols. "Cloudfeather, Cindermist, and Goldenbreeze will hunt near the BreezeClan border. Briarheart, Foxfur, and I will patrol the borders."

The patrols left camp....

But that was the last time one of them would be ever coming back alive......

Briarheart raced ahead if the patrol reaching the rocky shore before the rest of the patrol.

She stood atop looking down at the river when a cat shoved her in. They stood on top of her holding her head under as she struggled before she finally went limp.

"Good." Thought the murderer as they ran away leaving her body in the river caught on the rocks.

Briarheart's patrol caught up with her an halted when they saw her body caught among the rocks.

Greygaze pulled the small grey she-cats body out of the river and led the way back to camp.

Eaglepelt raced to Greygaze the moment he entered camp as he saw the body of his mate hanging limply from his jaws.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HER!" He screamed at Greygaze before calming down. He took Briarheart from Greygaze and set her body in the middle of camp.

Cindermist returned and skidded to a halt as she saw her mates in the middle of the clearing the other cats looking towards them sadly. She dropped her prey and ran to Eaglepelt and Briarheart realizing something bad had happened. When she git closer she could see that Briarheart was dead....

"No..." She said quietly as she buried her face into Briarheart's fur.

Eaglepelt stood up and looked towards Greygaze. "You killed Briarheart didn't you."

"Why would I kill her!" Greygaze spat back.

"We should have a vote." Oceanlight cut in.

The rest of the cats nodded in agreement as they all looked over at Greygaze.

**********BreezeClan Camp**********

Gingerkit was running around bothering the cats of the clan. It was a normal day for the clan. Echostar was sitting with his mate and their daughters.

Gingerkit stopped and looked at the four odd cats. "WEIRD!" She squealed. She tried to run off but immediately bumped into Goldleap.

"Be nice." Goldleap snapped at the small she-kit.

Gingerkit looked up at him scared before running over to her parents.

Night fell among the camp, there was only one cat stirring....... But that was all it would need for the catastrophe to set in....

Gingerkit was sleeping against Poppytuft peacefully when the cat slipped into the nursery.

"You are done for." The cat thought as they walked over to the nest.

They raked their claws quickly and silently down Gingerkit's neck......

Gingerkit didn't feel a thing or make a sound.

The lithe murderer slid out of the den and went back to their nest.

The clan awoke to Poppytuft's high-pitched cries.

Pinerunner raced into the den to find Poppytuft standing over their daughter's limp body.

Pinerunner snarled and ran out of the den. "YOU DID THIS!" He yelled at Goldleap, as Poppytuft walked out of the nursery Gingerkit hanging from her jaws.

"I didn't harm her!" Goldleap said eyes wide with shock.

"We'll vote." Sootriver said quietly.
