Chapter 2
Destiny padded through the forest until she picked up a familiar scent trail. She followed it though the trees, making sure she never lost the trail. She followed it all the way to a small clearing and she sat, waiting patiently. Finally, another wolf padded into the clearing. Her white fur shone brightly in the sunlight. "Hello, Destiny." The white wolf greeted her. Destiny dipped her head in greeting. "Hi, Snowy." She replied. The two she wolves touched noses, and sat close together to fend off the coldness. "King has been looking for you." Snowy broke the silence at last. Destiny sighed and shook her her slowly. "Did you or Flower tell?" She responded. Snowy looked up and met Destiny's amber gaze. "No. We didn't. We couldn't." She whispered in reply. "But they're bound to find out soon." She added. Destiny nodded. She had been born a human, but she could also turn into a wolf, tiger, and panther. None of her human family knew, but her animal families did. Her wolf mother, Flower, and her wolf sister, Snowy, knew about her human and other animal transformation powers. Flower had taken her in when she was only a wolf pup, out in the wild looking for a home. Destiny had found out about her powers one day when she had been focusing really hard on something in the forest that she couldn't quite make out. All of a sudden, she had had fur and claws. She had been transformed into a wolf pup, with no home or family. So she had gone into the wild to find one. The same had happened with her panther and tiger transformation power, except she had tried to transform into them. She had been wondering if she could become any other animals, so she had tried to. That was how she was here now, with her wolf sister. "Okay, then. Let's go back to the camp." Destiny said. She wanted to see the Pack that she hadn't been with almost a week. There was only sixteen wolves in the Pack, but it was enough. Destiny stood up and shook her fur out. The cold winds blew into her face as she faced them. Her eyes streamed, but she refused to stop until she reached her home. "Let's go, Snowy." She called to her sister. Then, she led the way home.
