Thank you for taking a look at this compilation of poems! As you might have read in the description, these are poems I wrote during the ten years I stayed in the West African country of Benin. I wrote most of them during my last 2 years there, more precisely in between 2018 and 2020.

I got most of my inspiration from the landscapes or from the animals there, which were an important part of my life. The photos that illustrate the poems were taken by me or another member of my family.

This first part contains my original poems, I might make another part with poems written in Europe, about Benin. I hope you will enjoy these poems, happy reading!
