"So fucking boring..."

This is what most of the class was thinking except the f-word. That thinking only belonged to two people; Kasumi and Y/n. They were in the middle of English. It was only like this until the daily hero portion of their day came along.

"It's me...Coming through the door like a normal person!!" The number one hero, All Might said. Y/n wasn't impressed but did chuckle at All Might's comment. All Might started talking but some rumbling under his desk surprised him. Suddenly Morgana popped out of the desk and knocked his stuff on the ground.

"Whew, you have no idea how long I was waiting to surprise you!"

"What the hell are you doing?! You can't be here!"

"Oh would you relax?! I've only let you and Kasumi here me. Due to my amazing quirk, I've made it so no one else could see me nor here me. Of course they can still hear everything that you do..."

"Hey! N/n! We're leaving! Come on!"

Y/n looked up to see most of the class gone but Kirishima, Shoto, and Kasumi behind.

"Ah! Sorry!"

"Hey! Take me with you!"

Y/n sighed and opened up his bag. He put the cat invisible to everyone but Kasumi, who was wondering how powerful that cat was. But she then realized that she could barely handle it's attitude and decided to stay quiet.

"What are you doing, Y/n?" Shoto asked the boy confused of his actions.

"Nothing Shoto! Let's get going!" Y/n said as he nodded. They all begin to walk out of the classroom. "Wait. Where are we going?"

"It's time for the trial of battle!"

Y/n rushed into the group with his costume as he saw...his sister wearing a very...puffy uniform. He decided to ignore his overprotective brotherly instincts and talk to Kasumi.

"Nice costume, Sumi!"

"Huh?! Are you making fun of me?!"

"No, I'm really surprised. I didn't think you could draw details like this." Y/n said as he soon realized what he said. "Wait! I didn't mean it like-!"

"Too late. Make sure you sleep with your eyes open tonight~!" She said teasingly as Y/n realized she was messing with him. "But...what are you wearing?"

"Hmm? What is there something wrong with it?"

"Yeah, it's total different from those crappy drawings you had."

Morgana appeared in his human form while the real Morgana was on his shoulder.

"Well, of course! I can't have my phantom thief looking stupid!" Morgana said as Y/n looked at him.

"Phantom...thief?"

"Yep! You're under the wing of the marvelous Morgana! It's only natural you'd gain such a title!"

Kirishima then walked up to them and walked through Morgana. "Whoa! You look super cool, N/n!"

"Ah. Thank you." He notices someone to in the back that he didn't see before. He had a white, gold and red costume. He had a large pointy red mask. Morgana hops onto Kasumi's head as they argue, Y/n makes his way over. "Hey! Are you new here?"

"?"

"Ah. Yes. Unfortunately, I couldn't attend class yesterday. It seems the class still doesn't notice my absence..."

"His words. They don't make me feel...safe. His face and voice seems trained to speak like that. It's little but...there's a hint of rage in his voice." Y/n thought to himself.

"It should be no problem. Oh. I think All Might is going to continue his talk talk to you later...?"

"Oh. My mistake. I forgot to give you my name. Goro Akechi. Pleased to meet you."

"...Maybe one day you'll mean it."

"?!"

"His facade fell apart for a split second but that showed me all I needed to know. He was hiding his true personality, that was obvious. I didn't need to know why as it was none of my business."

All Might did a fake cough and got everyone's attention. He then started explaining. "Most of the villain fights you see on the news happen outside. However, statistically speaking, run in's with the most dangerous and unhinged villains take place indoors. Imprisonment...house arrest...drug deals...Why, any villains that are smart would be lurking in the shadows."

"For this test, you'll separate into 'villains' and 'Hero' groups. For a two-on-two battles!"

Y/n had been trying to listen but Morgana showed up again and started messing with him. Y/n was confused with Morgana's quirk. So was he actually feeling his hair getting ruffled or was it just Morgana messing with his view and it was just a physical illusion.

"Wow. This little guy certainly has changed. He has no idea how to teach." Morgana said as Kasumi looked at him.

"You know All Might?"

"Mehehehe. I was friends with his master. Now I think our talk is over..."
Morgana disappeared but the cat was still on his shoulders. Kasumi thought it was weird that Y/n had a cat on his shoulder and no one could see it. "Come on! Let's go!"

Y/n nodded and moved forward to draw his lot. He drew team F and got paired up with Akechi. Akechi gave a fake smile but unknown to them, All Might was watching this team in curiosity.

"So it seems we are on the same team."

"Akechi...I'm only going to say this once to you. Act normal so we can actually win this. I won't tell anyone about your persona."

Akechi's smile faded and put on a scowl. "Fine. Let's get this over with. We might as well tell each other our quirks."

"See that wasn't so hard! Was it?"

"Just shut it already, would you?"

Akechi and Y/n were walking in after the timer went inside. Akechi waited and closed his eyes. He focused his hearing so he could fine their location. Akechi opened his eyes after closing them again.

"Fifth floor. Different sides of the entrance. We should spilt up, just because their up there doesn't mean that the bomb is there as well. But taking in the classes stupidity, it should be up there." Akechi said with no hesitation. He then touched the wall as a gray aura surrounded him and in a few seconds, Akechi opened his eyes again.

Akechi then sped down the hall with lighting quick speed. Y/n flew up in the air and followed him. Akechi saw that the halls were full of tape but not in a wall. "Hmph. It seems these peons don't know how to stop anything." Akechi then maneuvered through the tape by doing flips and turns that a normal person wouldn't be able to.

"Hmph! How was that? I'm sure you couldn't do any-!"

"Hmm?"

"!"

Akechi saw that Y/n was standing behind him and that he just destroyed the tape. Akechi scoffed and they quickly made their way upwards. They noticed that the villains were next room and strolled in without a care in the world.

"Huh?!"

"What are they doing!?"

Akechi ran to Kirishima and started circling him as Kirishima was confused until he saw afterimages of Akechi.

Akechi then proceeded to attack Kirishima in fast motions. Kirishima immediately used his quirk but it was too late. Akechi gave a deadly kick to Kirishima's head before he could activate it.

"That was boring. Pitiful really..."

Goro Akechi: Quirk; Adapt and Conquer!

Akechi can adapt to surfaces, material, liquids, and attacks to become resistant to that certain thing! His body will then give him an increase in one of the following: Speed, strength, mobility and agility, flexibility, or smarter thinking! Although he is resistant, he is not immune to that certain thing and too much will deactivate his quirk! His increased stat also is chosen at random and has a five minute cool-down! He can still use his adapting quirk but he won't gain any increased power until the cooldown is over!

"Hm? Oh was that a requirement? Never mind that, we're on a time limit. Deal with that imbecile before we win."

Y/n nodded and put out his hand towards Sero, the tape guy, and raises him from the ground. He felt a bit of strain but it wasn't anything hurtful, just an uncomfortable feeling on his arms. Akcehi walked towards the bomb and touched it.

Akechi then looked at Y/n. "It seems we've won. But I must say, I'm quite intrigued about how my quirk would adapt to yours. Would you mind?"

"Uh, sure." Y/n lifted Akechi up and Akechi couldn't move, of course he couldn't. He was put down and got a worried look, Y/n was curious what was adapted. "So...you gonna tell me what it adapted?"

Akechi was looking at his shaking hand and clenched them and composed himself. He then gave Y/n a rather deadly glare. "You. What's your name..."

"Oh. I guess I didn't give you my name. I'm Y/n Uraraka."

Akechi gave him a note. It was quite clear and wasn't menacing. But I'm sure that's what Akechi wanted.

"For once. I will condemn you. You may be the only one here that will give me a challenge."

And just like that...Akechi headed downstairs, Y/n then realized he left Sero in the air but didn't hear anything from him. Sero was knocked out due to him being upside down and spun around...

"Oops..."
