"Wait. How does Miruko know every fight club I go to?"

I was watching T.V in the living room thinking about that when a sleepy Ochako walked out of her room following the steam of hot food. Her sleepy eyes barely open as her brown hair bobbed up and down.

"Good morning, N/n."

{N/n: Nickname} If you couldn't tell already...

Oh, it seems she's awake enough to greet me. I was not expecting that.

"Good morning."

"What is that delicious smell, bro?"

"That would be your breakfast. I was just watching T.V before heading out to train."

I said as she waddled to her chair. She pick up her chopsticks and looked at her meal.

She then took a bite and immediately woke up.

"This is delicious! You've gotten better!"

"I was always the best cooker in the house."

"Mhm! Thank you, N/n! What are you up to today?"

She asked me as she stuffed her face. I just looked at the clock and it read '12:36'. I need to be at the meet-up point at 12:45.

"I'm going to train with a friend."

I said but she just gave me a smug smile.

"Is it a girl?"

"Is that important?"

Ochako just smiled and shook her head. I knew she was going to keep going if I didn't say anything. She remembered something and hopped out of her chair and walked towards me.

"Don't forget to study for the written test!"

"Are you calling me stupid?"

I said with a fake hurt expression but she wasn't buying it. Ochako looked at me as if she was waiting for my confirmation.

"Fine. I'll do that."

"Thank you. Wait, do you still do that old training? What was it? 100 push-ups, sit-ups, squats and a 10km run everyday?"

"Not as much as I used to but I gained massive power and strength by doing that."

The guy did it for way longer than me but told me unless I want my life to be boring, don't do it for 2 years. Nevertheless, I still have a lot of power under my belt now.

"Ah! I got to go!"

I say as I rush to the front door and put on my shoes.

"See you sis! Enjoy your food!"

"See you when you get home!"

I ran out the door using Zeroes. It's not like I can get in trouble if they can't even see me using it.

Ochako and I moved over here to be closer to the U.A. I convinced her to do it and she said we shouldn't until we for sure got in to U.A. But I told her we would definitely make it in. At the time, I said it to boost her spirits but we actually ended up in this apartment.

About the training, Kasumi and I never discussed where we were meeting up until she texted me yesterday at midnight. We then decided under a bridge so we wouldn't be seen using our power. During our ten months to the entrance exam, we've gotten closer. It's quite fun but our rivalry is still burning bright.

"Damn it! That wasn't fair! You tripped me in water!"

"I'm sorry, Pomeranian?! Did you say something!?"

"You damn bastard!"

Not to say I was injured that day, but I was indeed chased around. Months flew by as I talked to Izuku who was still trying to be a hero. I supported him and taught him some positions to strike when fighting. The exam day eventually came and I stood in block C, away from Kasumi who was in block B and Izuku and Ochako who were in block A. Now that I think about it, they don't know each other.

Basically the exam was to defeat robots and gain points. The more points you have, the more of the chance you have of getting in. I was stretching as I saw a boy with mixed red and white hair getting ready. He looks like a main character! I'll go talk to him!

"Hello!"

I said as he just looked at him with a cold glare. Eh. I've seen colder. He goes to walk away as I just follow him.

"You're right side is almost frozen. Your quirk must be powerful."

"Only half of it."

"So he finally speaks!"

I shout as he looks like doesn't get my joke.

"I could always speak."

"No, that's...never mind. You said only half. So...do you have parent problems too?"

I asked him as he nodded. He seemed to let his guard down after I brought up my parents. By parent problems, I meant that I have to work my ass off to give them money.

"My dad. He did something and now I'm stuck with his stupid quirk. I'm only here because I didn't want his help getting into U.A."

"Well, don't let you're father define who you are. Don't let your past and lineage hold back your power." I say to him as he looks at me in surprise.  He then smiled and held out his hand towards me.

"Shoto."

I took his hand, shook it, and give him a big grin.

"Nice to meet you, Shoto! I'm Y/n Uraraka!" I then heard Present Mic's voice. "Oh! We got to go! I'll see you later!"

I flew using Zeroes to get closer to the robots and move faster than people. I see a 2 pointer and I put my hands out towards it, I clenched my fist and the robot crushed into itself. Damn. That stung a little.

"Alright, that's two."

I then saw a man with spiky black hair about to be attacked by three robots. I flew over and destroyed the robots by crushing them. He looked at me confused on how I got there so fast. Damnit. My arms are starting to hurt. I thought I got rid of most of that...

"Hey, you good?"

"Oh. Yeah! Name's Eijiro Kirishima! How did you do that?"

He asked me with a sharp toothy grin. I scratched the back of my head.

"I'm Y/n Uraraka, I basically have telekinesis! Anyway, you seemed worried. Do you have enough points?"

I asked him as he clenched his fist and shook his head. He looked worried but I smiled.

"Well, what's your quirk?"

"I can turn my body hard in a rock like state."

I'm sure I heard that wrong or he phrased it weird. I immediately picked him up with Zeroes and flew us to an area where nobody was.

"Whoa! How did we get here?!"

"Here's a bunch of 2 & 3 pointers! When I throw you, you use your Harding to fly through those robots!"

"What?!"

"Ready? Go!"

I put his feet in my right hand. I thrust my hand forwards as he goes straight through the robots...but flies down the street.

"He'll be fine."

"Ow!"

"Yeah, he's fine."

I go and decided to get more points. I see a giant robot come out of nowhere so I decide to see where it came from. I run on the street and decide to go down. I see many people running away and see Shoto get on the same street. I wave to him.

"YO! SHOTO!!" 

I say as I flew to him. He looked unsurprised or he was just good at hiding his feelings.

"Oh. Uraraka. Did you need something?"

"Nope. How many points do you get?"

"45. What about you, Uraraka?"

"I think I have 27?"

I then see a girl trip over the debris that the robot caused. I see a bunch of other robots show up as well.

"Shoto! Look, that girl is surrounded! We need to get her out of there! Can you deal with those robots?"

He nodded as I remember I never asked him what his quirk was. What was it?

Well, he shot ice out of his right hand and used it to surf to the robots and freeze them. I flew in front of the girl as she looks in confusion.

It was at this moment, I fucked up.

I didn't realize that the robot was so close and I couldn't crush something like that and destroy it. I immediately pushed myself to my limits and put my hands out and closed my eyes, hoping for anything to happen.

"Uraraka!"

I hear Shoto's voice as I wait for an impact but it never comes...

"How...are you doing this?"

I hear the girl say as I open my eyes and I see the robot being dismantled and flying all over. The parts seemed to split and go backwards. I heard some people looking in amazement.

"Whoa! Look at that!"

"How did that guy do that?!"

"That's a powerful quirk!"

I see a large number 10, it starts counting down and I look around as it stays in my vision. It gets to zero and I feel pain all over and fall to the ground. Black lighting goes shooting out of me and I scream in pain.

It seems the pressure from my quirk went to the maximum when I pushed my quirk. I am on my back as the girl with the ponytail looks at me with worry.

"Oh my god! Are you okay!?"

"Y-Yep. I'm fine. Ow! Never mind, Shoto. A little help here?"

I smile through the pain. I was obviously lying. Shoto snapped out of his daze and picked me up...

...bridal style.

"You could have just thrown me over your shoulder..."

"Why? Is this not the way people wish to be carried?"

Ugh, he's so innocent. How do I explain this?

"Yes, but...you know what? Never mind. Let's just get out of here."

As if on cue, Present Mic announced that the exam was over. Shoto used his ice on his feet to slide us to the end. I heard the ponytail girl say something but I felt my ribs still being crushed. The pressure on the drawback kind of seizes up my body, making it harder to use.

"Shoto. Just, if you can find the nurse office, can you bring me there?"

I asked him and he nodded. It would have been a comfortable silence... if I wasn't being carried like a princess. I heard people snickering as we past by. You know what? They're just jealous!

"Also if you see a brown haired girl with a blush on her face...avoid her."

He looked confused but nodded. We walked down a hall where Present Mic was talking with...Ochako?! Oh no.... Shoto saw my face and immediately stomped on the ground, we then slid down the hall, but not before Ochako got a good look at my face. She started running after us in fast speeds.

"Ahhh!"

"N/n! What did you do this time?!"

"It wasn't my fault, Sis!"

Shoto immediately stopped moving due to confusion.

"Sis?"

Unfortunately, that moment of hesitation allowed Ochako to catch up.

"Nooo! Shoto, why?!"

"Thank you for watching over my brother. I hope he didn't cause you too much trouble."

She said with a bow as she took me from Shoto. He shook his head.

"No, he was mostly well behaved. He did go off on his own after a while."

"Oi. I'm not a dog."

Ochako began to turn around and bring me to the nurse. Shoto began walking away as well and I shouted to him.

"Hey! Shoto! See you in Spring!"

I shouted as he turned around and I saw a tiny smirk.

"...Yeah. See you."

I looked up at Ochako who was smiling at me.

"I see you've made a new friend."

"Yeah! He was really cool! He was freezing the robots. Oh, I also met this rock guy. He seemed very timid but manly? Is that the word? Oh! I also pushed my quirk to the Max!"

Immediately after I said that, she started to pinch my cheeks with a confused look. It had a little bit of frustration.

"Why would you do that!? You know that you do anything after."

"It wasn't my fault! I had to save a lady but I did something new...it was weird."

"Weird, huh? Oh yeah, I was saved as well. This green curly hair boy with a plain face saved me."

I immediately thought of Izuku but he doesn't have a quirk. But maybe he did Saitama's training before I did...

...That makes more sense than it should...

"Well, what matters is that you're safe." She started pinching my cheeks again. "What?!"

"Don't forget about your safety. That's important."

She said with a strange serious face. I just looked the other way.

(3RD POV)

"If it came down to me or you, I would gladly sacrifice my safety."

Ochako looked sadly but nodded.

"And I would do the same. Just be more careful, okay? Don't leave me without becoming a hero!"

She said with a smile. Y/n nodded and smiled back. Although they don't look the same. The way and how they smile is the same.

"Now that you're done being sappy, we should keep walking to the nurse."

Y/n said as Ochako realized she stopped moving. As she began walking, she realized that some of his body was turning black but it soon went back to normal.

She looked in worry but soon lost it when she realized that Y/n wasn't moving but sleeping peacefully. She didn't want a repeat of history. But she just kept walking with a smile to the nurse's office.

(A week later- Y/n & Uraraka's apartment)

Y/n was sitting on his bed looking at his red letter. He took three deep breaths before ripping it open. A metal pin fell out and landed on his bed. Y/n picked it up in confusion.

"What is this supposed to be?"

"Greetings, Young Uraraka!"

Y/n immediately chucked the pin and curled up into a ball. The pin activated showing a screen and the number one hero, All Might.

"You're probably wondering what I'm doing on this screen!"

"No, not really."

"Well, let me tell you anyway! I am a teacher at U.A. now! Anyway, you did excellent on your written exam as well as on your fighting exam. We looked through your records about your quirk wondering what this was..."

All Might said as a screen of me saving that girl and the robot being dismantled.

"But saving that girl was more important!You led a young man with you into battle to save a single life! You put yourself in front of danger without knowing if you'd be okay, only to save a life! If that doesn't scream a hero, then I wouldn't know what does."

Y/n started to tear up a little.

"You're just cursed child! You're a danger to society. You just don't know how yet!"

"With you passing the writing exam with flying colors..."

"I need to be stronger...to help my family! I need to have some sort of purpose! Please!"

"And you getting 57 points..."

"You're not a monster, Y/n. You're my hero."

"You pass! Welcome to your hero academia!"

Y/m flashes back to a younger him and Kasumi. Kasumi was working on her yard due to getting into an argument with her family. She sees Y/n bleeding and injuries everywhere. Kasumi drops everything and runs over worried.

<"Are you okay?! What happened?! Who did this?!">

<"Kasumi...can...can I, a monster...a cursed child...can...">

Y/n was struggling to speak due to his injuries. He held his left arm with his right and looked up at her with his face full of tears.

<"Can I...be a hero, like you?">

Kasumi dropped her facadē and hugged Y/n.

<"You're not a monster, Y/n. You're already a hero. You're my hero.">

Y/n snaps back into the present and runs out of his room to tell his sister the good news. Unknown to him, she has good news as well...
