Adrien wakes up all ready to tell Marinette he loves her. He does not know how things are for her in China. He just plans to call her and beg her to return to Paris. He hopes she will understand and realize he loves her.  What could go wrong?

     Adrien heads to the park and sees his friends whispering about something.  He wonders what is up with this.

   "What is all the commotion about Nino?" Adrien asks.

   "I hear Marinette is a married woman now," Nino says.

  "What?  Who married her?"  Adrien says in utter surprise. He thinks, great I am too late.

  "Do not you know she met a guy she met while overseas in China, and married him?" Lila remarks.

"No, it is not true. She can not be married to someone else." Adrien says. He looks heartbroken.

 "I have to go!" Adrien says.  He runs home with tears in his eyes.

   "Awe, the poor guy," Juleka says. She feels sorry for Adrien.

   "He loves Marinette?" Chole asks.

  "Well, obviously he does why else was he upset about Marinette being married?"  Alya remarks.

   "Not helping, Alya," Nino says.

   "I think it is sweet he loves her," Chloe says.

   "Some good it does when she is taken," Max points out.

  Adrien can not believe his Marinette is already married. He sobs so loud his father comes to check on him.  He has not found his place to live yet or he would have moved out by now.

   "Adrien, what is the matter son?" Gabriel asks.

  "She is already married!" Adrien blurts out.

"Adrien what are you talking about son?" Gabriel asks.

"Like you care!  Marinette married someone else." Adrien says angrily.

   Adrien promises never to love again since the girl he loves is taken. He thinks he will never see her again.

   Meanwhile, Marinette is four months pregnant with her daughter when she receives bad news from the television report in China.  "No," She screams when she finds out her husband died in a helicopter crash. She misses him something awful.  She was only married to him for almost a  year!
