( Back with Alec.)

Alec made his was to Taki's with the others to grab a bite to eat and relax for a bit. Alec had a feeling that things were going to get bad very quickly. Sami was going to bring Evan back, and he going to be more insane and bloodthirsty then he was before, and if anyone got killed it would all be Alec's fault and hated that.

Alec suddenly was shoved lightly on the shoulder, but it was hard enough to make him stumble to the side a step. " Stop thinking about it Alec." Says Jace.

" You don't know what I'm thinking about." Says Alec.

" Your thinking about what could happen if Sami brings Evan back and by the look on your face, I can see your blaming yourself for it."

" How do you know I was thinking about that? For all you know I could have been thinking about kittens." Says Alec.

Jace laughs. " Really, you were thinking about kittens?" Says Jace.

Now it was Alec's turn to laugh. " Nope." Says Alec shoving his hands in his coat pocket and picked up speed walking smiling wide, leaving Jace behind him laughing and shaking his head. He then ran towards Alec and caught up with his quickly.

They all walked into Taki's, talking and laughing, cracking jokes left and right enjoying themselves for the first time in a long while. They sat down at a table and ordered their drinks a waited a bit to order their food.

Simon was making Isabelle laugh by telling her jokes he read over the Internet last time he was on it. Magnus was talking to Clary about what stores they like to shop at the most, well more like which one has the best stuff at the best prices.

Meanwhile Jace and Alec were talking about what they were going to do when all this stuff is over. " The first thing we're doing is going demon hunting. After being asleep for that long I'm itching to stab something." Says Jace taking a sip of his drink.

" Jace you were only unconscious for a day, how can you crave demon hunting that much?" Says Alec with a slight laugh.

Jace set his drink down. " Hey when your alone, weaponless and powerless while talking to Sami in a dream you kinda want to kill something when you wake."

Alec nodded. " He's talked to me and controlled my dreams a few times. In the last one we were in a old abandoned building, kinda like the one we killed Evan in, he was able to hurt me and I was powerless to stop him. It was so frustrating how I couldn't do anything to stop him. Then he threatened you and I've told you everything passed that."

Jace just nodded, not sure what else to say. They continued to talk for a while after they ordered their food and soon were eating. " So what do you guys want to do after we eat?" Says Simon.

Isabelle slapped her hand on the table, starlting the othere. They looked at her. She swallowed a bite of her food then spoke. " Let's go to the Pandemonium and have a bit of fun." Says Isabelle.

" We Have work to do Iz, we can't aford to go there for the night." Says Alec.

" Oh come on Alec, just for a little?" Says Isabelle.

Alec sighed. " Fine, but you have to promise me something." 

" What?" Says Isabelle.

" Promise me you won't do anything crazy like last time. We can't aford for that to happen." Says Alec.

Isabelle rolled her eyes. " Fine I promise I won't do anything crazy." Says isabelle. Alec then smiled and nodded. " This time."

" Iz really, I... " Alec starts, but is quickly interrupted by a bloodcurdling scream. They all Exchanged looks of concern and confusion before they all get up and bolt outside to the alley where the scream came from. There leaning against the wall in a pool of blood was a dead fairy. A girl fairy.  The scream had come from a lady who was staring at the fairies body. 

Magnus walked up to her and lead her away talking to her and asking her a few questions that she answered truthfully.

Magnus then came back and looked at them. " She says she saw two men around the same size, Warlocks by the looks of their powers. One with blood red eyes and red powers the other with blue powers and normal eyes. They were using a spell on this poor lady taking something out of her, then they killed her."

Jace looked at Alec. " You know what this means." Says Jace.

" Sami brought Evan back and their taking the power out of fairies. We were to late to stop Sami." Says Alec.

" This isn't the only one, they have her a note that says she the first fairy and they've already killed and taken the power out or two vampires and four werewolfs. Their geting the hunting Downworlders now. Vampirs for their speed, werewolfs for their strength, and fairies for their magic abilities." Says Magnus.

" Wait how did they know to give the note to her knowing we'd get it?" Says isabelle.

" They wouldn't know that unless... " Alec let the sentence float in the air cause they all knew the answer to that. They were being spied on by them while they were eating.

They took care of the body and the blood and left to the Institute. " Guys if Evan's back then we have to train now and be ready for anything. " says Jace.

" We're trained enough. What we need to do is try and prepare for the unexpected. You never know what could come from Evan and Sami." Says Isabelle.

" She's right. He's hunting Downworlders now for their power." Says Clary.

" Who knows who he could go after next?" Says Simon.

" What if he goes after Warlocks as well?" Says Alec.

" They would go after Warlocks for both they strong powers and their magic abilities. There's only a couple Warlocks in New York, and I'm one of them. The other Warlocks are not even that powerfull. I'd be the only one worth geting the power from." Says Magnus.

" Then in that case you can't and aren't going anywhere without someone going with you." Says Alec.

" Alexander, you know very well I can take care of myself." Says Magnus.

" Oh I know you can, but with Evan way more powerfull then he was before and both of them taking the power out of other Downworlders your going to need help if they come after you." Says Alec.

" He's right Magnus." Says Isabelle.

Magnus sighed and nodded. " Fine." Says Magnus.

" That means your staying at the Institute for a while." Says Alec.

Magnus groaned, but nodded anyway. " Fine, but tomorrow were going to get my stuff and Chairman cause I'm not leaving him there alone."

Alec smiled and nodded. Soon they got bored and started playing video games to pass the time till bed. Jace was currently playing God of War and was killing monster. They planed on going after Evan and Sami first thing in the morning. 

" YES, did you guys see how I killed that stupid monster?! Yeah it was awesome." Yelled Jace causing the other to laugh.

Soon enough everyone was in bed. Alec had given Magnus the room right next to his that was also inbetween his and Jace's just in case he needed help or anything happened. 

Alec had to admit Evan being back scared him badly. He was worried they were going to come for him family and friends and kill them. Now they were hunting and killing Downworlders and taking their powers as well. Now Magnus is in danger because of this. They were going to come up with a plan in the morning to hunt down Evan and Sami and stop them before this goes any farther. Hopefully they won't be to late. He knew he would protect Magnus and the others no matter what. He knew they would be with him through this every step of the way and keep him safe as well, and that Alec liked to know. Alec smiled knowing that, and with that last thought Alec finally drifted off into a deep sleep.
