( Back at the Institute.)

" Magnus, what other type of side effects does that spell from that book have?" Says Alec. He had no idea what type of side effects came with the spell, and to be honest he was a bit scared to find out.

Magnus looked to be thinking real hard. " It was only used once by the person who created it. So I only know of a few side effects."

" Who created it?" Says Isabelle leaning forward, resting her arms on her legs.

" Yeah, and why did she need it?" Asks Alec.

Magnus sat forward in his chair. He looked at their eager faces. " A long time ago, there was a lady Warlock who lost her child. Her child had been a teen at the time, so his powers were very unstable and he didn't know how to control them. One day he had been trying a spell out in her barn when it suddenly backfired and ended up exploding in a blast that took his life. His mother had been so distraught about his death. It really was a tragic accident. His mother started experimenting different things on dead animals till she finally made one that brought them back to life, she was so happy that she took off to perform the spell on her son, but she didn't stay long enough to see the side effects from the spell. She performed it on her son and brought him back, it was fine for a couple days after till he started craving power, he didn't care how he got it. He started going insane and killed her farm animals and started killing humans, exposing him and his powers to them. Once he started killing other Downworlders and Shadowhunter, the Silent Brothers told his mother then needed to put a stop to this and the only way to do it was to kill him. His mother was upset, but she had no choice but to agree. They gathered Shadowhunters and a couple Warlocks to take him down cause he had become so powerful. He went insane and craved killing, he thought it was fun to kill. They took his body to his mother after they took him down and helped her bury him. She gave the spell to the Silent Brothers and they've had it ever since, till they Intrusted me with it."

" So the spell from that book makes them go insane and crave power even more then they did before, and makes them enjoy killing?" Says Isabelle.

" Yes, it brings out the most dark side of people and it's worse when the person was evil and dark to begin with." Says Magnus.

" How are we going to take Evan down then? With that spell performed on him, he's going to be bloodthirsty. Who knows how many people he'll kill." Says Jace.

" We're powerful enough to take Sami down if we work together, once he's gone we can focus all our energy and power on Evan and take him down. We can do this." Says Isabelle.

" She's right. If Sami had brought Evan back we need to take Sami down first." Says Magnus.

Alec sighed and sat down on the bed. " I never should have given it to him." Says Alec.

" You didn't know ok, if you had I know for sure you would never ever give it to him." Says Jace.

Alec nodded. Isabelle then stood up. " I think we've talked enough about this for right now. Let's go to Taki's and eat." Says Isabelle.

The others looked at each other and nodded, and together they stood up and walked out towards Taki's to eat.

( Back with Sami.)

" Wake up brother."

Sami was woke by the sound of his brothers voice. His eyes snapped open and his sat up fast, looking around till his eyes settled on Evan, who was currently leaning on the old nasty looking dresser in the corner of the room. He wore a smirk in his face.

Sami smiled. " Hey Evan."

Evan pushed himself off the dresser and walked up to Sami and stuck his hand out. Sami took his hand without hesitation. Evan pulled him to his feet.

" How long was I out?" Says Sami.

" A couple hours. " says Evan.

Sami saw Evan was still wearing his blood covered shirt. Sami walked over towards the dresser and took out a shirt. He had been living there since he found Evan's body, so he moved some of his stuff over here to this abandoned building.. He turned and handed it to Evan. " Atleast change shirts from that blood covered one."

Evan grinned and took the shirt from Sami. He set it down and pulled off the one he had on. " So brother what's our plan?" Says Evan.

Sami could see very clearly the scar the dagger had left in Evan's chest. " Our plan is the same as last time we talked about it."

Evan sliped on the new shirt and looked at Sami again. " I'm afraid I don't remember much about it. Would you please explain it to me?"

Sami nodded. " Follow me." He then turned and left the room walking down the halls at a fast pace, with Evan not far behind him.

" In a hurry I see." Says Evan.

Sami smiled, but kept on walking. Soon they arrived at a huge room in the way back of the old abandoned building they were in. " After I found your body I placed a spell on you that preserved your body. I then made myself a room and a small office." Says Sami.

" You call this a small office?" Says Evan motioning to the huge room they were in.

Sami chuckled and turned to face Evan. " You haven't see the one at my real home." Says Sami. He walked over to the desk and sat in a chair. " Sit."

Evan smiled and sat down. " How long had I been dead?"

" A couple weeks. The Shadowhunters at that Institute and that Warlock know about me and how we're brothers, but I got that Lightwood boy to get me the spell and that book. You gave that Lightwood boy quite a scare when you attacked him." Says Sami.

Evan ginned. " I thought I would."

Sami's face suddenly darkened. " Do you know the worry and panic I felt when I couldn't find you that day? It was the worst feeling in the world when I walked into this building and saw your dead, cold, lifeless body and your chest covered in blood, with a dagger next to you.. It was the worst feeling I have ever felt."

Evan sighed and looked at Sami. " I'm sorry brother. You were right when you said if I kept on with my plan without your help I would end up dead. I'm sorry, but I'm back now and we can work together on the plan we originally had."

Sami nodded. " Yes we will, but you will listen to me and do what I say this time. I don't want to lose you again." Says Sami.

Evan nodded. " I will. Now will you tell me the plan again?" Says Evan.

Sami nodded. " We're going to use the spell I got from Alexander and drain the power from Downworlders everywhere in New York, after that were going to take over the Shadowhunter population to rule over all with that mind control spell."

" How do we get to the clave?" Says Evan.

" Once were powerfull and strong enough were going to go and break down the demon wards and storm into Idris and take over the Clave." Says Sami.

" Then we'll have control over all Shadowhunters and Downworlders. We'll rule over all." Says Evan.

" Yes, but first like I just said we got to gain power and break down the demon wards."

" And storm Idris."

" To take over the Clave."

" To rule over all."

Sami grinned. " To rule over all." Sami repeated.

" I can't wait." Says Evan grinning wide.

Sami stood up as did Evan. " Then we will have vengeance." Says Sami.

They laughed. " When do we start?" Says Evan.

" Soon brother, very soon." And with that they sat down and talked over the plan to make sure there wasn't one mistake. Then they would start their plan that if they succeeded would truly mean the end of the world.
