A young Reo, about fourtheen years old sadly watched her fall on the floor, dead by his older brother, Rei. With the mother's blood staining the purple tiles.

A man laid a hand on Rei's shoulder, it was practically Zinfandel. The Aizawa family knew of this, Rei's manifacturing curse of being the Eve of a Servamp.

Zinfandel mumbled, "it was for the best.."

"Y-You.. you killed her.." Reo sputtered. "Y-You killed our mom.. Onii-san.. why..?"

Rei turned to see his brother, he gasped and stood up. "R-Reo.. y-you saw that?"

"Onii-san, why would you do such a thing!?" Reo blurted out, "she was our mom! She was nice, kind and gentle! She did everything to make us happy and you killed her!?"

Rei stood there erect, "R-Reo.. you misunderstood--"

He tried to place a hand on Reo's shoulder but Reo slapped his away, "don't come near me!" He gripped on his wrist with his tears falling down his cheek.

"I-I can't trust you.. you're murdered our mother! What would father say!?"

"Ototo-san--"

"Don't ever call me that! I'm not your brother anymore! You killed mother, I'll never forgive you!"

"Reo--"

Within a blink, Reo sliced Zinfandel's arm with a butcher's knife. Slicing the arm, the knife broke the item given by the Eve, a bangle that Zinfandel wore on his upper arm.

Rei's eyes widen, "••••!"

A mass of Jinns regurigate out of Zinfandel's orifices, Rei shielded his eyes but he saw Reo walking up to Zinfandel.

"Reo-san! Don't go anywhere near him! It's too dangerous!"

Reo grinned as he clipped a brooch on Zinfandel's blazer, "Aizen.. be my slave." He slammed his arm at the vamp's jagged teeth as Zinfandel had no choice but to bite it.

The pain was aching Reo but he didn't mind it, he wanted revenge. Revenge on his brother and for his mother and father.

Rei stood there in a shock as all Jinns sucked back into Aizen's orifices. "•••••, how in the world.. is this even possible?"

Reo insanely grinned and pointed to Rei, "Aizen. Destroy the imposter,"

Aizen's eyes widen, "M-Master.. he-he's your brother. I don't think that's a wise decision--"

"Do it! Every human and vampirw must die! You and Onii-chan killed my mother! Now, Rei-san.. I'm going make your Servamp kill you." Reo clenched his fist as he stared at Rei with half of a glare and wrinkly smile, a pair of glowing headphones spawned on his neck. "Aizen, do it or I'll swear I'll break your item and finish you off if I have to!"

Aizen spawned his halberd and stared at Rei, "I have no choice."

Rei sighed, "I understand." He jolted his arms on each side and shutted his eyes, "finish me off for the crimes that I've done."

Aizen twitched an brow as he raised his halberd, it then disappeared. The tips of his ombrés scarf tied Rei up, "killing an former Eve is prohibited. It is against the rules." He claimed.

"Huuh?" Reo furrowed his brows, "that's not fair."

"Z-Zinfandel.. why?" Rei stunned.

Right after your vision in the present returned, something strangled you up. It was Reo, he was very mad. He used an earphones Lead to strangle your neck with its wires.

"You! Just what did you do!? Who are you to mess with my personal life!?" Reo twitched an eye, "just what are you!?"

You began to tear up for some reason and it made Reo calm down, you looked just like his mom. His loving and caring mom. Although, is that even true?

Why would Rei kill his mom for no reason at all? You wanted to know what was going on.

Reo's Lead disappeared as he gnashed his teeth, his rapid eyes fell. "Whatever!" He got off you and stormed away.

With a snap of his fingers, Aizen and the pairs returned in a flash. "Just leave already! You guys make me sick! And the next time we meet, I'll definitely turn you into junk!" He left, leaving his Servamp alone.

Aizen sighed as he haunched down, "stubborn.. I hate it."

Your eyes wondered of the both of them. They are actually a perfect pair either way. Reo hates other people, he's perfect for being the Eve of Hate.

But their cooperation with one another..? Nah. Nope. Nu-uh. Failure. They're like living in different worlds. Rei and Aizen mesh well as a pair.

You shook your head as someone clamped a hand on your shoulder, you turned and saw. "Rose-chan! You're fully recovered?"

Rose sighed, "so annoying.. maybe I'm fine. It's hard to breathe in this room. I want to go somewhere sunny."

"B-But it might burn you!"

"Relax. Virtues can't burn in sunlight. We're like Tsubaki," Rose said. "But a lot more different.. he's special, remember?"

"Oh,"

The both of them relaxed in the garden, you placed a hand on your forehead like a visor as you stare at the sun. "Hey, are you sure you won't burn? It's pretty hot."

"Nope, it's actually pretty relaxing.." Rose turned to you with her hood down and her hair russling over her eyes. She smiled kindly and it shocked you completely.

She realized what she had done and turned away, her smile faded. "Okay, forgot I've ever done that."

Rose-chan can actually smile. You saw it for the second time. You wondered if her subclasses had seen that happy face of hers.

Right. Rose was once a human before, of course she can smile. Everyone can. Even Kuro.

"Eh? It's you.." a familiar voice spoke.

You turned and saw Rei, you squeaked. "Gah, it's Rei-san! Please don't hurt us!" You hid behind Rose.

Rei raised a brow sullenly, "how could I harm you after what happened earlier?" He turned away, sighing and read his book as he sat on a chair. "My job was done. One of Zinfandel's subclasses were killing in asking me a favor to hunt you Eves down once I spot you."

"Therefore, I won't harm you." Rei glanced at Rose and blushed a bit, "who's this?"

"Oh, this is the Servamp of Demise..?" You scratched your nape, "her street name is Silver Austere and her current name is Rosette, Rose as an abbreviated form of it. You didn't know what she looked like? I thought the Aizawa family had eyes everywhere?"

Rei glanced away from Rose's dull gaze, still blushing. So he hid his entire face with his book, "I've heard of her as a creature of monstrosity. B-But I didn't expect her to be.. b-b-b--"

"Beautiful?" You smirked, "Rose is quite pretty without her hood on, huh?"

You teased as you rested your hand on Rei's backrest, "perhaps you're already falling for her?"

"N-No.." Rei turned away and huffed, "she just looks nice. That's all. That's all I have to say!"

"Hey, why are you two talking like I'm not here?" Rose quirked a brow.

"What are you guys doing here anyway?" Rei turned to you, having his serious expression on. "Isn't the fighting over?"

"Yeah, but Rose and I decided to check the garden 'cuz she needed fresh air." Rei nodded as you then questioned, "hey.. about the past. I saw Reo's memories by touching him and.. why did you.. do it?"

Rei furrowed his brows a bit but sighed, those angered eyes disappeared. He looked down, "if an Eve like you can look into someone's memories.. then go ahead."

He reached his forearm out to you, "I don't want to tell you th details. Probably you won't believe me. Ruminate my memories. Do it as you please."

You nodded, haunching down to him and grasped on his forearm.

||In Rei's memories||

A young Rei, about seventeen years old. 'Cuz basically, he's chronologically twenty years old by the present time. He rushed to the main room of the manor with his quarterstaff in his possessions, finding himself seeing a woman with silver hair and hazel eyes.

The lady turned and insanely grinned at Rei, "think you could run away with all of this, my little Rei~~"

She marched up to Rei, mulling her fingers to her neck. Rei slapped her hands away, "Mother, what's gotten into you?"

"Your father cheated again. Guess he was better off without us," Rei's mother, Aizawa Subaru clamped on Rei's shoulders.

"Maybe I should kill you since your birth was such a waste," Rei's eyes widen.

He yanked his mother's grip away from him and cowered away, "Mother, you wouldn't do such a thing."

"I'd do anything for you.. my Rei," Subaru snagged out a knife and her grin gotten worse. "I'll stab you to death right away!"

The ferret on Rei's shoulder began to morph in purple mists, it hoppped out of his shoulder and transformed into Zinfandel.

"Rei-sama, stand back.." Zinfandel said, spanning his halberd.

Rei's eyes widen, "don't. You can't fight her, she was once your.."

"No, it is alright. I don't mind it at all, I'd do what I have to protect my Eve." Rei's eyes softened but it was still instilled with regret and nodded.

Subaru smirked, "ahh, •••••. It's been a long time, huh?"

"I won't hesitate to use violence, my Love."

"You have got to stop calling me that," Subaru rolled her eyes and lunged at Zinfandel.

She charged the knife at him but he eventually swerved aside, he swung his halberd to slice her. Although, remembering the joyous and lovely times they had in the past.

He paused in fright, abruptly making Subaru getting the chance to stab him and kick him down.

"You're so soft now," Subaru cackled, "not like before when you used to protect me from danger."

Zinfandel's eyebrows furrowed once Subaru began strangling Rei's neck. The Servamp couldn't get up 'cuz he was too weal, while Rei, on the other hand was running his fingertips on his mother's hands.

"W-Why? Why are you doing this?" Rei choked, "what did we ever do to make you hate us?"

"Oh, sweetie. You didn't do anything." Subaru insanely grinned, "this is all your father's fault. I'll have to kill you first so you won't get in the way of I killing your father myself! Right after I kill you, I'll kill dear sweet and gentle Reo!"

This struck Rei, his deep thoughts of imagining his dear brother and father die by his mother's hands overflowed his mind. He tried to control himself from doing something murderous to his mom but the Lead itself forced him.

He stabbed his mother with his Lead's prick tip. He sadly watched his mother gushed out blood from her mouth and drop him on the ground.

He sadly watched her fall on the floor, dead. With her blood staining the purple tiles. A hand laid on his shoulder, he turned to see Zinfandel with a kind smile. "It was for the best,"

"Y-You.. you killed her.." a young voice said.

Reo stood there erect, "y-you killed our mom.. Onii-san.. why..?"

||End of memories||

You let go as you saw Rei's tears, "so that's what happened. You never told him the truth?"

Rei wiped his tears off, "whenever I try to, it's just useless. He'll just call me a liar or shun me."

Your eyes fell, "how could a family so peaceful even break apart?"

Rei turned to you and opened his mouth to speak but he shutted it and walked away. This made you wonder why, "Re--"

"(Y/N)-san!" You turned to see Mahiru.

"Ahh, Shirota-kun. What are you doing here?" You stood up from your kneeling position and swiveled to Mahiru.

"We have to go, Misono and the others are waiting for you." Mahiru replied, "weekend's about to end after two days. Plus, we can't stay here for too long. Reo's subclasses might get the chance to attack us without their master's orders."

"Riight.." you spotted Kuro in the shades of the garden's porch, he was in his human form. Haunching on the floor and stared at you with pleading eyes to retrieve back at home.

You sighed, "sure.. if Rose approves."

"I'm fine with anything as long as my master permits," Rose pulled her hood up and walked out of the garden.

Mahiru watched her leave and blinked, "that was Rose..? She looks..so different,"

"Without the hood, Rose is very beautiful. But with it, she actually looks so scary." You sulked as you followed Mahiru, who made his way out of the mazy garden. "Guess that's what makes her a vampire."

"Ahaha! Kuro-chan is so cute!"

"Yeah! I want to keep him for myself even!"

You balled your fists on your table's desk and gnashed your teeth as you annoyingly watched some female students giggle as they feed Kuro with some pastries.

"Don't flirt with my Ash-chan!" You muttered angrily beneath your breath, prompting Rose (In her animal form) who rested across your shoulder as usual, turned to you.

"Hold on there, feisty-chan." Rose said, "Brother Sloth is a kitty now. It's normal for a cat to be admired."

"Somebody please bring me a frozen raw piece of meat! I want to bite something!" You grumbled as you honed at the girls with a dark aura.

"Don't unleash your Lead though. It's annoying." Rose rolled her eyes, "your will of wanting to be malevolent could subconsciously summon your custom weapon."

"Ne, uhh.. (Y/N)-san," you turned to see Sakuya, one of Mahiru's friends. "You keep a cat too?"

Rose raked at him solemnly as you smiled innocently, "it's.. actually a snow leopard. Her name is Rosette."

"Oh," Sakuya somberly stared back at Rose. "A leopard, huh? Well, see ya!"

He then left. Rose sighed and instigated, "you shouldn't make friends with that annoying guy."

"Huh? You mean Sakuya? He's Shirota's friend! Of course I have to be friends with him!"

"That guy.. he's one of Melancholy's subclasses." Rose sighed. "He transfered to another school because of Sloth's Eve, I guess."

You gasped, "you mean Tsubaki Who Is Coming of Melancholy!? You gotta be kidding me!" You watched Sakuya leave with a box. "Why is he here if he's no longer a student? Has he come to visit Mahiru?"

Your eyes widen, "so that's why..those red eyes were, melancholic. He's fitted to be the subclass of Melancholy. He embodies his master's sin too. He's got to be the youngest of the subclasses."

"Wrong. The Lilac guy must be the one. He's a coward. Too scared to fight Brother Greed though."

"Hyde's a powerful Servamp! He killed almost every subclass of Tsubaki!"

"Quiet down. This is annoying."

"Uhh.. (Y/N)-san, Rose-chan. How are you doing?" You turned to see Mahiru. What's with everyone bothering you today?

"I'm fine, I guess.." Mahiru sat on his seat, which was beside your seat. "It's been days since we encountered Reo and Zinfandel. I recently found out that Zinfandel's past love was Aizawa-kun's mom, she looked just like me too."

"So that's why Zinfandel sexually harrasses you many times.." Mahiru grinned awkwardly but you spanked him in the head.

"It's not sexual harrassment! It was only one time!"

"So annoying.."

"Shut the crap up, Rose!"

Rose rolled her eyes and hopped out of your shoulder, "I'm going to the restroom." She scampered away.

"Why does every Servamp have a catch-phrase?" You sulked as you turned pale. "They don't mean anything at all."

"Actually, they mean something." Mahiru interrupted, tapping his chin. "they're simple enough to understand when you get right down to it, 'what a pain' means I'm scared. 'Not interesting at all' or 'how boring' means I'm lonely. 'This is annoying' means I'm depressed. 'I hate this' means I never wanted this to happen. They're all simple once you understand them and their words."

Your eyes widen in surprise. Shirota.. knows people very well. He was even able to understand Rose's phrases.

"Whoa, Mahiru-kun. You're so good at simplifying. I wish I was like you.."

"What? Nah. I just resolve things." Mahiru smiled, "I'm not running away from my problems anymore. I'm actually facing them."

Your smile faded away as you then told him, "you know, Shirota-kun. I'm starting worry about the Servamp Race. What if there's more than ten of them?"

"Then we're bound to anything." You nodded in response.

Rose sighed as she walked out of the restroom in her human form, "man, I forgot the way back. This is so annoying."

She meandered around 'till she accidentally bumped into someone's chest, "oh, I terribly apologize. I wasn't looking."

"Neither was I," the odd person who wore a monochrome (gray and black) military hat, same color ulster cape. Beneath is a long-sleeved same color over shirt. He had black shorts, yellow and black-striped long socks and black boots. He was slightly tanned-skin and crimson red eyes.

"I promise this won't happen again and we'll never meet again." Rose said with a sullen expression, with her eyes down. She doesn't want to see the boy's face because she was depressed through this situation.

Rose swerved aside and passed the odd (looks fiftheen) boy. Once after passing him, the boy mischievously grinned.

"But I'm sure we'll meet again..." the boy muttered in a cunning manner as he lowered the visor of his monochrome military hat, "Hoki Shirubā Austere Onee-san, (Big Sister Silver Austere of Demise)."

He walked away, playfully wielding his monochrome cane around with his other black-gloved hand shoved inside his pocket. He chortled mischievously as he walked out of the school with people subtly surpressing his existence.
