Kuro abruptly changed into his cat form out of the blue. You blinked and Rei did as well. Your Lead disappeared because your subconscious was probably shock of this.

You then noticed that Rei wasn't attacking anymore, you turned and gasped. Rei was twitching an eye as he stared at Kuro in annoyance, his Lead disappeared.

"S-Seriously? Of-Of all things, why a cute kitten?" Rei was sweating rapidly which made you wonder. "I..can't stand cuteness. I hate it. It just makes me sick!"

Kuro had a smug face, it told you that he had a plan in mind. He crawled to Rei and rolled himself over his foot, "huuh? Really? You should be just soothed by me.."

Rei stared at him, flustered as you blinked. If Rei hated something, he could've just killed it. "What? Does Rei-san..have a soft spot for animals? Especially for cats?"

Rei gripped on his hair, "OF ALL THINGS, WHY THE HELL IS SLOTH A CAT?!"

"I'm actually a lion. But I rather choose this form, it's adorable." Kuro kept rolling over Rei's foot teasingly and then Kuro got the chance to transform into his human form and kick Rei away.

Rei crashed on the wall, with him groaning of his injury. Kuro walked up to Rei as he stared at Kuro with blaring eyes. But then a halberd's tip struck down the ground, supposedly slicing Kuro's tail but he scampered away.

A sigh was heard, "soft spot for kittens? After all these five years, you still haven't improved that issue. It seemed to develop even more,"

You turned to see Zinfandel or..Aizen, your eyes widen. He lunged at you, cupping your cheek and licked your lips which made you flinch a bit in surprise. "You again.. I'll get your blood later, my Love." He said before Kuro stepped in in his form as a human, he kicked Aizen away.

"Didn't I tell you to leave her alone?" Kuro angrily picked you up, pulling you closer and snuggling you tight in his arms.

Your palms rested as his chest, you stared at him with glinted eyes. "A-Ash.."

Aizen crashed on some shelves, he sat idly as he stared at Kuro and you with a bored expression. "An Eve and a Servamp? Together?" He stared at Kuro with an expression of hatred. "Sin Servamps aren't allowed to fall in love with Eves remember? Even the different ones."

"Who the heck cares? Troublesome or not. I like being with her," Kuro snapped as you blushed.

Rei who sat idly on the ground, narrowed his eyes at you. His vision was getting blurry ever since Kuro kicked him, but he seemed to recognize you either way.

"Y-You.. you look just like..her." His eyes widen as you quirked an eyebrow.

"Huh?"

"Rei-sama, stand back." Aizen said, standing in front of Rei erectly.

"What? But I'm the one who's supposed to finish them off, it was my responsibility. We keep it in the family--"

"Your family..is already dead, it is best to avoid trouble. Especially of what happened last time, please leave and meet Reo-kun." Aizen glanced from Rei to you and Kuro, having a serious expression.

Rei angrily muttered something beneath his breath before standing up and dashing somewhere.

Your eyes soften, your anger and justice disappeared. "You two should talk..about the past. Don't you feel remorseful that you've betrayed your master?"

"I wasn't aware of Master Reo doing something so bad as a child, but it's part of the rules." Aizen gripped on his haldberd and raised it up to his torso, "even so, would a pep talk even fix things? Rei-sama isn't quite sociable and he's very hard to understand."

You stunned, huh? Just like..Rose-chan?

"B-But you have to talk it out! He might even regret about what happened as well--"

"Your mouth angers me, please shut up." Aizen raised his halberd up as your eyes widen, the tip approaches you.

But something prevented that, it wasn't Kuro or anyone. It was a spear, a spear shot the halberd as it prevented the attack from continuing. Aizen gripped on his weapon to prevent it from being shot away again.

He turned with rapid eyes, "who's there?"

"Shirota Mahiru, 16 years old." Mahiru stepped in as he retrieved his Lead back. "I've come to save my Servamp and Demise's Eve."

"That phrase, it's annoying. Oh god, I can't stand this." Rose walked in, without her scythe out.

Aizen furrowed his eyes at Rose, "nineth sister Demise, I'd like to finish what we began yesterday."

"Dream on. I'll let him handle this," Rose blunted.

"Him??"

"Cowards die many times before their deaths; the valiant never taste of death but once!" Hyde jumped in, wielding his rapier and slashed Aizen.

Aizen's eyes widen, "fifth brother Greed?"

He lunged his halberd to block Hyde's attack, now both of them are tussling over each other's weapons. Kuro clamped a hand on your shoulder, "it's troublesome to worry but..are you alright?"

Licht peeped behind the door, "and what the heck happened in here? Did someone caused a rampage or something?"

Reo rested a palm on his cheek and sighed, "boooring. Why did that scumbag, Aizen told me to stay here? He's such a killjoy."

He chuckled, "almost like.. like.."

"Brother, you're such a stupid Eve." Rei walked in, limping as he gave himself a noogie.

"Huuh? I told you not to come in the lobby. I thought you were always found in gardens and libraries? Weren't you busy secluding yourself in your room too?" Reo furrowed his brows a bit, clenching a fist as it rested itself on the chair's armrest.

"Don't come out in the open like this. I'll remind you that I've said I'll never forgive about what you did and the staffs are afraid of you because you can't control your Lead if you use it too long--"

"Doesn't matter. Aizen-san was the one who sent me here," Rei cutted Reo off as he stood by the throne, he folded his arms, looking away.

Reo also looked away, resting his cheek on his palm. "You were..injured? Hah, you're weak. Not like before when you murdered her!"

"I didn't really mean to do that." Rei snapped, gritting his teeth. "There was an unconscious urge in me. I did it because she was going to kill you."

"Liar." Reo curted, "lies, lies, lies, lies. That's all you ever tell. You lie about it just so you can forget it. This makes me want to kill you,"

"Kill me then. Would Aizen approve of that?"

Reo sat up and grabbed his brother's collar, making him face both furious eyes. "Listen well, I don't care if that white ferret cares about you even after what you did. But let me remind you that you did a crime,"

Rei kept himself calm, he looked at his brother with emotionless eyes. "Tch, such a stupid Eve. I even see it in your face. You know nothing about what happened. So there's no right for you to talk about it."

Reo released his grip, making Rei tumble down on the floor, panting. Rei stood up and walked away, "like I said, such a stupid Eve."

He sighed as he walked away from his brother from a far away distance, he kindly smiled a bit and mumbled, "I'm fine with being hated but I don't want you hurt."

You ran with Kuro, Mahiru and Rose by your side. "Guys, what about Licht and Lawless?"

"Hyde and Licht are taking care of Zinfandel for now. We have to find a way out of here though. The Greed pair would catch up," Mahiru panted. "Although, I haven't seen Tetsu and the others anywhere."

"Well, at least I have this." Kuro said, carrying a picture frame in his possessions.

"Hey, what's that?" You snatched it from Kuro, "Ash, It's not nice to steal!"

Kuro rolled his eyes, "c'mon, Lawless just gave me this for some troublesome reason so I decided to keep it. It's a pain anyway,"

"What if this way something important to Rei-san and Reo-san?!" You then glanced at the picture to see a young Rei and Reo. And a married couple.

A lofty male who looked like the Aizawa brothers and laid a hand on Rei's shoulder while the slendered female who looked exactly like you laid a hand on Rei's other shoulder.

While teen Rei laid both hands on a child's shoulder; Reo's. The four of them looked happy, Reo looked happy and innocent as a child. Rei looked calm and kind, not as violent as he is now. A ferret with red eyes and cream fur drapped on across Rei's shoulder like how Rose rests on your shoulder.

(Would you like to guess who that cream-furred ferret is? I'm sure you already know the answer.)

The father stood erect in a decent posture, he wore an elegant suit. He acted like how Mikado; Misono's father acts. While the mother had a kind and gentle smile as she had her hand laid on Rei's shoulder.

You smiled, seeing the family all happy. You didn't have parents or any family now. Both of your parents mysteriously disappeared while your aunt died because of her old chorological age.

How did the Aizawa family came to such chaos? How did Reo became all sadistic and devious? How did Rei turned out to be so violent and mean?

"Shirota, look out!" A voice christened, prompting you to drop the picture frame.

It's glass case shattered down, you gasped. "Oh no!"

They turned to see one of the subclasses twins' chain manipulation struck them with chains but Kuro pulled Mahiru away from that attack.

"Shirota, you crappy bastard!" Misono marched up to Mahiru and effusively gushed, "I damn warned you! You weren't fucking listening, weren't you?!"

Mahiru sulked shamefully as he crashed on the ground, sitting idly as ever. "Misono-chan~~ too many.. effusive outpouring of words.."

Kuro sulked as well, "such an abusive pretty boy. I can't face this.."

Lilly came in, sweatdropping of his Eve's behavior. "Now, now. Misono. Calm down, 'kay?"

"How am I supposed to call down when we keep on ending at the same location everytime no matter which path we take!" Misono freaked, releasing a large abundant of massed air.

Lilly clamped a hand on his shoulder, "breathe.. breathe.. Misono."

Misono calmed down but then released an outburst of anger once one of the twins pounced at him, one was holding a butcher's knife.

"Can I gouge your eyes out, so you won't have any dreams and imaginations?" The white-haired twin asked, with a grin.

You blinked, "gosh, she acts like Rose!"

Rose sighed, "don't think this child is my daughter or something. It's just another particular session,"

"Or why don't I rip your lips off, so you can never express your feelings nor say something?" The black-haired twin smiled kindly, but her words weren't kind though.

You blinked, "R-Rose.."

"This is so annoying. She's just an subclass. Why take her down?" Rose said, hopping on some ceiling lamps.

"Shirota, should we use violence or just negotiate with them peacefully?" You whispered to Mahiru, leaning to him closer but Kuro blocked the way out of jealousy. "These are kids. I don't believe I would have the guts to fight them and neither will Rose."

"I can hear you," said Rose, even from afar.

You decided to ignore her and spawn your Lead, "don't." Misono grabbed your wrist, the transformation of your weapon didn't access to continue.

"Misono-chan?"

"Lilly and I will take care of them," Misono said. "For now, the Sloth pair and yours have to make your way out of here."

"What? But what about you?" Mahiru interrupted, "we can't leave you two hear just like the Greed pair."

"It'll be too much risk. Misono and I will catch up," Lilly said, spawning his scythe.

(There's a big difference from Lilly's scythe to Rose's scythe. Rose's is a death scythe, it causes severe harm and destruction to others. It creates the death of others thoroughly. While Lilly's is just a non-combat weapon used only for defense. I'll carry on. 😊)

You sighed, "fine. I don't like leaving people behind but if that's what you wish, then fine." The trio left after you said, "good luck!"

"Tch, luck's the worst impossible thing in this situation. Bastard," Misono chuckled as you pouted.

He called you "bastard". Well, that's not very nice. Or is it just his prudent thanks to you?

You didn't have time to think, you shooked your head as you keep on running. "Are you sure it's okay to leave them be? I mean, I could let Rose finish them off in an instant."

"So annoying. I'm not in the mood for killing somebody," Rose blunted, flying pass you.

Your eyes widen, "you can fly? Why didn't you carry me instead?"

"Being too lazy like Sloth is annoying. Walking is a good thing because it's an exercise." Rose said, flying right below the ceiling.

"Well, how about you? Don't you have to walk to?"

"Nah, I'm not in the mood."

You pouted 'till Kuro carried you in bridal style, "there? Happy?"

You blushed but looked away, pouting. "You don't have to do something like that."

Mahiru had a smug face, "guys, there's no time for romance on this type of crisis."

"Nah, let them be.." Rose laid her forearms behind her head as she flew. "Human emotions are fatal and easy to be manipulated. There's no doubt whether if those feelings would fade away and be developed by another. This is one of the reasons why Pride tells us all to never fall in love."

"Well, have you ever been loved by someone before?" Mahiru questioned.

Rose rolled her eyes, "no one would like a monster like me.."

Mahiru stopped his tracks when he spotted something, "what's wrong, Shirota?" You asked, while Kuro brought you down.

"Shit. This is so annoying," Rose landed her feet on the ground. "Just why him?"

He smirked and said, "you're irritated, huh? Demise-chan?"

"Shimura, aren't you a bit too open at a time like this?" Rose blunted, glaring at Shimura, the one who trapped all her subclass in a net. "The sun's still out. Your sun's fire might quench because you'll be the one getting burned. Even though you're element is sun, you're still not immune to it. You'll be turning into Djinns (jinn or jinns) if you overdue it."

"Nah, I'll survive even though I have fire sprawling through my veins." Shimura snickered, 'till a coffin flew in front of him.

Shimura swerved away and sweatdropped in relief. He raked at the crashed coffin, "what in the.."

"Yo, subclass." Tetsu stepped in with Hugh by his shoulder, "just who do you think you are to bully Big Bro Mahiru?"

"Tetsu!" Mahiru dazed.

Tetsu glanced behind his shoulder to spot Mahiru, "you guys go ahead. We'll catch up,"

"Again?!" You stunned, "no, we have to be together with this! I can't stand separation!"

A hand clamped on your shoulder, making you turn to see Mahiru. "(Y/n)-san, let's go."

Mahiru went off with Rose while Kuro grabbed your wrist and dragged you away. You were dumbfounded, unable to do anything.

Rose then fell on the ground since she was flying, gripping on her chest. "Rose, what's wrong?" Mahiru criticized.

"Master, do you doubt yourself?" Rose turned to you with weak eyes, "I feel weak. Your will is failing, I'm getting weak."

You gasped, "what do I do to help you?"

"You don't have to do something for me. I can..manage," Rose weakly sat up, cringing in pain. "I feel like I'm going to collapse. But worry about yourself, I'm nothing to you anyway."

Your eyes shot open, why would I think about her like that?

Mahiru placed Rose's arm across his shoulder and helped her ran. You followed behind with Kuro suddenly drapping on your shoulder in his cat form. You didn't mind it. He was Sloth anyway, you would understand.

You guys stopped your tracks and saw Zeo sitting there and smirked, "huuuh? You were able to pass Aizen and the others?" He chuckled, "and there're only four of you left."

"The others are just in a session," you furrowed your eyebrows. "They'll be back,"

"Back? Girlie, do you even know what happens when somebody enters the Aizawa Manor, you can never leave."

You balled your fist and turned to Reo,  "just who do you think you are to declare a war?! You're bored and you want entertainment, but I wonder why!"

"You always keep that masochastic smirk on your face yet you express yourself bored!" You ragged, "just what happened?! Why did you betray your brother just to take his Servamp away from him?! Don't you know the close relationship they've had as a meshed pair?!"

"The hell, the hell, the hell. Just what do you know?!" Reo shoved his hands on his pockets, "do you even understand people clearly? Do you even have the priority of that atrocity?!"

Zeo sat up and wore his earphones, "now, you've made me mad! Die!"

He firmly tromped a foot forward as a sound wave emitted, your eyes widen. But then a black barrier briefly shielded the others and you, this was clearly Rose's doing.

You glanced at Rose, who was looking weak right after she spawned the barrier. "Rose-chan, why did you do that?! You're already weak!"

Rose sighed, "so annoying.." She said before shutting her eyes unconsciously.

You faced Reo, who was gritting his teeth as his lime green eyes furiously glistered. "You! I can't stand you! You piece of shit, I'll never give you a painless death!"

What is wrong with him? I wonder if he was like this when he was a child? What happened that day? More importantly, what's gotten in to him? If I could just touch him, maybe I can figure out the reason of why he's mad at Rei. Why did he do it?

Reo snapped his fingers as another ultrasonic wave appeared, pushing Mahiru, Kuro and unconscious Rose at the wall with brute force.

"Gah, what is this?" Mahiru wriggled, "I can't..move!" They were stuck there. You were the only one that Roe didn't attack, but why?

There must be a reason. A bad reason. You turned to see Reo in front of you. In the inside, your heart was screaming in fear but on the outside, your eyes were feigning the truth yet you were drenching with sweat.

Reo firmly held your chin and held you closer to his face, "tch, really now. You look just like her. I don't care whether if Aizen has feelings for you or not, but I want to hurt you now. Even if look like her." He rolled his eyes as he pulled your face passed his cheek, your ear was near to his mouth.

Even though that he was feigningly cunning and mischievous at the moment, he was essentially angered in the inside. "I mean, an human and a vampire together? What a joke. It's just like trash talk to me," he tossed you away, prompting you to crash at the ground.

Kuro's eyes were blazing red. Reo demonically smirked, "give me a break. Do you and Sloth trust each other by the fault of love? Ha, such a stupid thing as what my brother would assume."

He stared down at you, who laid on the floor in a prostrated position. You didn't know what to do, all was too difficult for you.

He stepped on the very top of your head and snickered, rubbing his foot on your scalp. "Love is a pretense satisfaction. Never be fooled by such lies,"

You then slowly reached your hand up and made him turmoil, "haah?" You clinged on his foot and ruminated his memories.

That's it for today! I'll let Izzy-chan take care of this one. She'll know how to process things! I'm not quite good with flashbacks at most times but I guess this will be enough. Every chapter has 3000+ words. The earlier chapters might have been 6000+ or 5000+. Both of us get pretty carried away and you guys might enjoy such a long chapter.
