"Another nightmare?" I asked. She nodded. "Do you want to talk about it?"
She nodded again, sitting up. I had to help her because her stomach still hurt. Sitting down next to her, I laid my hand on hers and she smiled and took it, though her eyes were full of grief. "It was a memory of...of when I lost Heather." She almost looked ashamed. I squeezed her hand, both not knowing what to say and remembering something Mum told me and Mike, that body language was clearer than words. After a few minutes, she mumbled something and clutched her stomach again.
"Why didn't you tell me it hurt so bad?" I asked.
She shrugged. "It'll pass,"
"Well, you should at least drink something. Here," I handed her the glass of water on her nightstand. As she was drinking it, I noticed that she didn't look overly thin anymore. She definitely looked stronger and healthier than the weak, pale Linda I met months ago.

"D'you feel like getting up?" I asked. I didn't want to push her if she didn't want to.
"I can try," she nodded. "Can we walk this time?"
"Of course," We walked to the couch again and I eased her onto the cushions. She seemed to lean on me a bit more again, which was completely fine with me.
"Oh, weren't you supposed to go to the studio today?" she asked, frowning
I shrugged. "You're more important"
She smiled up at me."Thank you,"
~~~
"How do you feel now?" I asked after five hours of sitting with her.
"Alright," She answered. "My stomach doesn't hurt so much as this morning," I could tell she wasn't lying.
"Do you want to do anything?"
"Sure." She smiled "Like what?"
"I don't know, I kind of want to go out into the woods again. What do you think?"
"That sounds lovely" she smiled a sweet smile and I got the van ready
