Failed fan fiction book idea, based off of the Assassins Creed Odyssey video game.

"Kallistrate focus! And never put your guard down" my Pater looks down at me, gently pressing the dulled tip of a blade to my neck, a silent warning that I would be dead if this had been a real fight.
"Yes Pater" I say, my shining blue eyes looking up into his focused, hard chocolate brown ones. 
"Again" he instructs stepping back and taking up a firm planted stance ready to fight once again.

I get back into my feet, planting them firmly like pater had taught me. As soon as I was ready I attacked quickly, feinting an attack and quickly bringing my own dulled blade to the back of his knee and gently pressing. He chuckles and smiles. "Good job Kallistrate. That's enough training for today" He loosens up and pats my shoulder. I beam with pride.
"Did you beat him up Kalli?" I smile and spin on my heels to see my aunt Kassandra standing there. I run up and hug her, her long braided brown hair smelling thick of the salty sea.
"Absolutely Kassie!" I giggle beaming, "You've been on the Adrestia again!"
"Indeed I have, hunting the remaining few cultists. They're as stubborn as hyenas" she ruffles my hair beaming. "You're getting better at fighting every time I see you, soon you'll beat even Alexios and myself."
"I doubt that Kassie, you and Pater are legends!"

My pater was Alexios and Kassandra is his sister. Both are children of Pythagoras and grandchildren of the mighty Leonidas of Sparta the mighty king who fought and died in the battle of the 300. My pater is a warrior and a legend alongside Kassandra, their story is know by all Spartans and many other people beyond the seas. My mater was a fine warrior who was conceived on Spartan soil by two Athenians who were hiding here from an illness that plagued Athens. After my mater was born word had gotten to the Spartan king about the bastard child and guards were sent to take her away. They kept mater and trained her to be a spy and a misthios for Sparta. She met Alexios when fighting by his side in a conquest to take Arkadia. Sadly, mater passed away giving birth to me and I'm paters only child. I want to make him proud, to be the son he never had and carry on his legacy.
