Y/N POV

Briefly splitting up from Leon and Ada, I left the Police Station and headed back into Raccoon City. I hadn't missed much as I had to dispatch some zombies shortly after though they weren't a challenge in the slightest.

I made it quite a distance from the Police Station before I eventually came to a halt in an alley. I heard some familiar crawling sounds behind me and spun around to see a Licker scaling the walls of the alley, I wasted no time in raising my handgun and effortlessly blasting its head off.

As I made my way out of the alley, I began heading down the alley until I noticed a Police car, crashed into the wall up ahead. A grin spread across my face, if you remember last time I searched a Police car, I found a Flash Grenade that came in handy later on.

I approached the car and smashed the windows, unlocking it, I began my search. I found several shotgun shells and a few handgun rounds however, my eyes widened when I noticed, propped against the corpse of a deceased officer was a W-870 Shotgun!

Letting out a faint whistle, I reached for the shotgun however the deceased officer suddenly reanimated and attempted to attack my. I quickly drew my handgun and blasted the officer in the head, putting him out of commission.

Grabbing the Shotgun, I quickly slung it over my shoulder and continued on my way down the street. Eventually, I made it to what looked like an old garage. I approached the shutter and grabbed the bottom of it before flinging it upwards.

I turned on the light and looked around, there was another Typewriter off to the side as well as some herbs and more ammo, I took both of them and turned to walk away. However I suddenly heard footsteps coming from outside, though I could barely hear it over the pouring rain and fires that still littered the street.

Ducking out of sight once again, my eyes widened when I looked around the corner to see JILL! Once again, she was alone there was no sign of that 'Carlos' from earlier. I felt my anger flare up a bit inside me though I kept a calm expression.

(In this story the only person Y/N will flat out hate will be Jill and that's only because she shot him in Chapter 6. He won't even hate Chris which will be very important later on.)

I drew my shotgun and raised it with one hand. I stepped out from the garage and aimed the barrel directly at Jill's head before speaking "Well, what a surprise. We really need to stop running into one another."

Jill just spoke in a confident yet aggressive tone as she snapped "Why are you even here Y/N? Are you here to marvel at Umbrella's handiwork?" I stepped back, lowering the shotgun as she turned around, I answered "I thought me and Wesker explained to you at the mansion, we're done taking orders from Umbrella. As for why I'm here, that's none of your business."

I smirked before saying "Wesker told me to remain focused on the task, but why shouldn't I have a little enjoyment." Jill's eyes widened before asking "Wait, Wesker's alive as well?" I nodded and said "Of course, we both were infected with the same virus."

This caused Jill to smirk and say "Yet, he sits back while you, the pawn, do all the dirty work for him." The veins on my head were throbbing as I angrily growled at her before suddenly raising my shotgun at her.

Suddenly she attempted to tackle me to the ground however I managed to throw her off me. We both stood up however she pulled out a carbine similar to the one Carlos had in our last encounter and opened fire.

I managed to dodge each of her shots before swiftly elbowing her in the face. I then performed a series of backwards flips before landing back on my feet. I then began walking towards her until she suddenly pulled a Hand Grenade out of her pocket and threw it towards me.

The grenade exploded and I fell onto my knees a bit before slowly recovering and returning to my feet. I pulled my own handgun back out and shot Jill in the leg, she let out a grunt of pain and placed her hand over the wound, she could still stand but she would be limping for some time.

(Or until she finds some herbs or First Aid Spray.)

I was about to fire another shot when I suddenly noticed red laser sight on my torso. I spun around just in time and caught a MISSILE in mid-air, I had trouble holding it in place until it exploded and caused me to fall to my knees once again.

I turned to see who had fired the missile, expecting it to be that Carlos again, however I was surprised when I saw that same monster from last time I encountered Jill! It looked at us from on top of a wrecked school bus and yelled "S.T.A.R.S!"

I snapped angrily "Damn it! It can use weapons as well?!" Jill didn't answer and suddenly shot at the bus the creature stood on top of. The vehicle burst into flames however the creature stepped out of the fire and growled out once again "S.T.A.R.S!"

Both of us shot at the creature however it advanced towards us slowly, eventually my shotgun ran out of ammo and I threw it aside, dashing forward and palm-thrusting the creature in the chest.

The creature only staggered back, even less so than the Tyrant earlier. It grabbed me by the throat and lifted off the ground, it brought me right up close to its face and I could smell its foul breath as it growled "S.T.A.R.S." I just glared back at the monster though before reaching into my pocket, I pulled out a Flash Grenade and pulled the pin.

The grenade exploded in a blinding flash causing the monster to drop me. I wasted no time in sprinting away from the scene however that's when it happened. I felt a sharp stabbing pain in my torso and I looked down to see a TENTACLE had pierced right through my lower abdomen!

I spun around to see the monster standing there, its hand outstretched with a tentacle protruding out of it. I just grunted before quickly coming up with an idea. I reached round the back of my belt and revealed my knife, which Wesker gave me before I even arrived back in Raccoon City.

I slashed downward, managing to cut the tentacle sticking out of me clean in half. The rest of it withdrew back to the monster who let out a pained growl. I glanced at Jill, contemplating whether or not I should kill her then and there.

However in the end I decided I needed to focus on my task. I sprinted back to the street where I was initially stood with Leon and Ada. There was no sign of them now, but I had a hunch I knew which way I headed.

I just needed to hope they didn't get injured in my absence...

Author's Note: That's it for this chapter, I want to apologise, I was unable to write yesterday since I was very busy. I'm also sorry if this chapter was bad and underwhelming, I found it really difficult to write however I wanted to get it up nonetheless.
