Epilogue: More Questions

A couple hours after Ezra and Dean got home, Ezra was already in his bed trying to sleep when his hand kept itching. Tossing and turning, Ezra found himself unable to escape from the burning sensation. Worse, it was affecting his head. The headache was splitting and he couldn't find himself to wake up before he entered a strange world.

"Where am I?" Ezra said, exploring the creepy dark forest. He stepped through the forest opening when he saw where he was. A large stone castle stood overlooking the ocean. There weren't any cars or even roads. He was completely in the middle of nowhere, save for the castle. Determined to find out where or rather when he was, Ezra ventured onto the dirt road. He had only been walking for a couple of minutes when a carriage pulled up next to him. A woman with bright orange hair sat inside tied back into a tight ponytail and her lips were bright red.

"You look lost, Dearie," the woman said. Her heavy Scottish accent dripped with concern. She had said nothing until she noticed the symbol on his hand. "Ezra Winchester, I wasn't expecting you to make an appearance."

"Who are you?" Ezra asked.

"I know everything there is about you. Your powers are growing Ezra, come find me. I am in the year 1500. I will help you understand," she continued. "Be careful, though. When you're here, trust no one. They might want to take control of your powers."

"I don't understand, and you haven't told me who you are," Ezra asked once again.

"My name is Rowena," the witch said. Ezra bolted awake in a cold sweat. His heart pounded in his chest and he didn't know what more to do. Ezra turned on his lamplight and looked at his hand. Angel wings continued to form and for a split second, he swore it glowed bright amber.

"What the fuck is wrong with me?" Ezra said to no one in particular.
